The Shank [M]

Thirty meters out from the village, she could see that there was going to be alot of trouble here. Long before she was even within range of the village she could see the man, though how he had gotten so big she couldn't comprehend. There were alot of strange things in the shinobi world that she couldn't wrap her head around at times, it was just one of the things you dealt with as it happened. Stopping short, she took the time to check through her equipment, making sure that it was all present. Ten kunai, sixty Hira Shuriken, ten Stun Grenades, and nine Smoke Grenades.

She came prepared as she could be, now she just needed Godaime-sama to show up as her back up. The smoke rose from the houses in the distance, she could hear the screams of the people. Sitting down on a hill overlooking the gates of the small village, she surveyed the scene. Many of the people seemed collected enough to be organizing an escape attempt, though most were in a mass panic. It pulled at her heart strings to watch them suffer but she couldn't rush in there without any support. Whether she wanted to accept it or not, she was mostly close ranged. Without some sort of support she would find herself in a world of trouble trying to take the brute head on.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

After having left the Hidden Stone, Jimarai as quickly as could be done, tracked his senpai to the outskirts of the village in question mentioned in the message he received informing him about the mission. Drawing up on her, he could see two things. Firstly: that she had long golden hair down to the middle of her back and that she wore the Stone flak jacket, usually presented at becoming a Chuunin, and skirt of sorts about her lower half.

Secondly, Jimarai would notice a black smoke rising further on in the distance, and between that and his team leader, a large hulking man, apparently the cause of the raucous.

Obviously a Taijutsu specialist .. Mmm ... With the two of us we should make short work of him

Deciding to announce his presence he would call out, just loud enough for her to hear. Not having been formally introduced to her yet, he felt it best to start with a formality.

"Hail, Senpai!

Walking up behind her and to her right he would stay a few feet behind, awaiting her instructions or observations, tactics or anything she had to offer. In the meantime ... "Senpai, Jimarai Kotetsu, reporting as ordered - Specialising in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, Mid to close range combat efficiency and infiltration ... though that probably won't be necessary here I imagine. Are we expecting anyone else Ma'am?"[/color] His introduction over now, Jim would mentally account his possessions: his tachi sheathed at his side and in his weapons pouch, 6 Kunai, 9 shuriken, 12 exploding tags, 15ft of wire accompanied by 10 bells and 2 smoke grenades. A quick pat of his weapons pouch would confirm that the majority of the aforementioned items were present.

Putting his hands on his hips and drawing his black trench coat back slightly, he would take in the breeze and what was otherwise a lovely day, his pony tailed hair blowing slightly in the cool air.

"Shame he had to go nuts on such a beautiful day ... mmm."

Chan was up earlier hen usual and he couldn't contain himself. His energetic nature was practically uncontrollable, he thought about getting some training down, just to expel the energy an chakra keeping him awake so. Chan's feet were buzzing at this time so he decided to go out for a meaningless jog around the inside of the grassy walls surrounding Stone, his pace was at a fairly set medium range at which he could go around the city in two hour or so, it was a long jog anyway. The sun outside was perfectly set and the whether was practically amazing, the birds were chirping and the bugs were buzzing. The ground got softer as he made his way torwards the sand oasis side of stone, this was of no matter because of his sand control ability, passively making it so he could jog easier Chan picked up the pace. He came closer and closer to the gate, where he found Jimarai, just barely leaving as Chan turned a corner, was leaving the city. "Ji-.." but it was to late, the door had shut behind him.

Chan followed begin but Jimarai hadn't been running the whole morning, Chan fell to a walking pace and jut as he approached the now two shinobi's he noticed the other to be the Jounin Saeko. "Shame he had to go nuts on such a beautiful day ... mmm." he caught from Jimarai... "What is it you two are talking about?" Chan stated as he noticed a huge shadow nearly what 40 meters away? He was not good at comprehending distances at his age it was hard enough to tell anyway. Chan's face turned a bright red as h noticed how tall this man was, maybe 5 meters (around 15 feet)? "Well you sure do know how to pick your men... And just in case I think I'm going to help" Chan stated while preparing his famous Jounin rank jutsu.

Sand Controlling
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: With this technique the user is capable of controlling sand within a certain distance. With this the user is capable of determining how well they are capable of using a technique, and how much the technique is worth. Without this as the starting basis the user is uncapable of using their Sand Techniques to their fullest potential.
Special: ---
Drawback: This is to be considered as a skill tree, each time the user learns a certain is the difference between how well the user is capable of using their technique and controlling sand within a longer and longer style of distance.
Description: The user pours their chakra into the ground along the sand. By doing so the user is capable of grabbing the Sand pushing it upwards, downwards, or even to the sides. When the user first starts off by learning the D Rank version of this technique the user is capable of controlling Sand within a Radius of Ten Meters. When the user learns the C rank the user is capable of controlling sand within the radius of Twenty Five Meters. When the user learns the B Rank version of the technique the user is capable of controlling sand within a radius of Fourty meters. When the user learns the A Rank version of this technique the user is capable of controlling Fifty Five Meters of Sand. Finally when the user is capable of learning the S Rank version of this technique the user is capable of controlling a distance of Seventy Five meters in Radius of Sand. If the user wishes to progress further they must learn in a B Ranking fashion to be capable of controlling an additional Five Meters.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release

Doujou Kirikae no Jutsu (Soil Conversion Technique)
Rank: "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: When the user does not have sand for them to use in a vast amount for Jutsus the user is capable of taking what sand that they do have to convert materials around them to create more sand. Depending on the type of rank the user is capable of learning this the user is capable of converting different types of material. The higher the rank is the stronger the material the user can convert. When first learned the user is capable of using components from the ground of soft soil to transform into sand. The user is capable of converting two meters of Sand per post when they learn the C Rank version of this technique. When the user learns the B Rank version of this technique the user is capable of transforming small rocks into sand and is capable of creating sand within three meters per round. When the user learns the A Rank version of this technique the user is capable of transforming hard rock into sand and is capable of converting within four meters per round. The S Rank version allows the user to convert sand from concrete and even weak metals into sand as well as the capability of converting sand within five meters.
Special: ---
Drawback: The largest drawback is that it takes time to be capable of doing such a thing as well as it takes an abundance amount of chakra in order to perform this technique. This technique should be used only if the user needs to use as a last chance for a large move. Also the user must know certain ranks of Sand Control in order to go into this tree.

Limit: Must have the Sand Release. To Learn C Rank user must know C Rank Sand Control. In order to learn B Rank the usr must know B Rank Sand Control. In order to learn A Rank the user must know A Rank Sand Control. In order to learn S Rank the user must know S Rank Sand Control.

Shinkou Tentou Sunataka (Rising Heaven Sand Falcon)
Rank: B
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates a single, massive sand falcon that shoots directly up from the ground in front of you.
Special: Serpent, Dragon, Tiger, Dragon, Bird, Horse.
Drawback: Uses a large amount of sand, requires concentration to maintain. Must have a sand source.
Description: The user forms the hand seals, summoning a giant falcon of sand in front of them, flying directly upwards. The falcon can withstand one B Rank attack before collapsing. The user can ride on the falcon if they so choose, or even attack with it, though it is easily dodged. The Falcon has a wing span of seven meters.
Limit: Sand Release, must know Sand Control. Requires ten meters of sand.

Hail, Senpai!

At first the words didn't register as she watched the flow of escaping villagers suddenly stop. She feared the worst for the rest who had not made it out on time, they would have to do what they could for them. Offering a deep sigh to the wind, she turned only to notice that she had infact not gone crazy, the voice came from someone nearby. Giving Jimarai a polite bow, she smiled at how formal he seemed to be despite the fact that he was one of the village shadows, it surprised her really. "Glad to see that my support comes highly recommended. Saeko Iijima, soon to be the best medic in all of Tsuchigakure." she said, grinning as best as she could given the situation going on only fourty meters away from her. Even someone so cheerful as Saeko could be enraged by the sight of sensless violence, she was definitely getting there.

Then there was Chan, who she was also aware of as she held his file for her team before she volunteered for this. He was young, seemingly eager to help, though she was unsure of his combat experiance. This was the world of shinobi however, strength was valued and she would not turn him away without a chance to prove himself. "Mid-range huh? Sounds perfect for this situation. Someone gets to be struck with the nasty job of holding his attention. If I could get in close enough, I may be able to toss him out of the village." she claimed, seeming dead serious. Most people couldn't even fathom the control or strength needed for such a task if she was being literal, but she was far from kidding.

"I guess we'll get to see what you can do a bit early Chan. I had intended to recruit you after such a dangerous mission, but it looks like you've got something to prove now. I will do my best to keep you both in top shape!" she said, smirking with a mischivieous grin. "I usually prefer men who bathe.." she muttered in response to Chan's comment, before motioning for them to move out. Pushing onward towards the village, it would take only a few minutes for her to cover the distance, coming to a stop just beside a corner where she could see the mans ankle roughly 8 meters from her position. He seemed to be focused on someone else, though who she could barely make out. A man stood before the giant, dressed in an old looking armor. He held a sword at the ready, as if it were going to do something to for him.

If her team was close enough to see it, she pointed to the man with the sword. Following that, she quickly motioned for them to get into a position that would offer an advantage to their styles. Once they were prepared, it was time to extract this man from the battle and take over. He wouldn't be happy about being forced to evac duty, but the time to play soldier was over now, the professionals were here.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Chan would turn up shortly after Jim himself arrived and he would turn in surprise, not having heard him following at what was obviously such a close distance the way here. He would offer a nod of acknowledgement and then turn to Saeko who introduced herself as the best medic of Iwagakure. After a few more comments they would push forward towards the village, moving quickly and quietly.

Saeko would move forward to a building on the left side of the pathway and peer around and see the large hulking man and what appeared to be a citizen, decked out in armor, ready to face this brute. Jimarai was one building back and on the right hand side of the path, a better view of the situation, but not as close as Saeko, about 15m back. She made the motion to make a move, whether it was to engage the tank of a man, or extract the villager Jim couldn't be sure, but erring on teh side of common sense he decided upon the extraction process as what she meant.

Best to move him out of harms way first. Can't have him getting hurt ... Mm.

Jim had a clear line of sight on both of them and was huddled around the corner of the building, offering moderate cover from any light attacks that should come his way. Forming a few seals and ending with the Tiger, Dragon and Ox, he would then slam his hands into the ground. It would take a slight moment before anything happened, a large amount of Jimarai's chakra being transferred into the earth beneath him it would work on turning the raw materials into a hardened iron, and then 15m away, two iron chains would spring out from the ground and wrap around the large mans wrists and up his arms and then pull back towards the ground, separating his arms and holding him in place. The villager may or may not have been struck by the chains, given his close proximity, but it would do no more damage than leave a bit of bruising.

Trusting that his teammates would take advantage of the situation and extract the man themselves now that he could do them no harm, Jim would keep his hands to the ground, sending out more chakra to keep the chains reinforced and in place.

Dunno if this will hold a guy like him, and if it does I can;t say how long ... but if all else fails ... I can use

that technique[/right]

Demon’s Necklace
Rank: "A"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Shoots 5 iron chains out of the earth, which can be manipulated by the user of the jutsu. These chains can be used as a whip as well as holding the opponent down. The main purpose of this Jutsu was to restrain people and other creatures. These chains continue to grow until the user takes his hands of the earth.
Special: Tiger; Dragon; Ox
Drawback: The moment the user removes his hands from the ground the chains disappear.
Description: The user does the required handseals and places his palms on the ground, causing chains to shoot out from the ground.
Limit: Must know earth release.

Chan and the others moved closer to the being just barely a stones a throw away. Chan, Jim and Saeko moved closer to a building off on the corner and noticed that the giant was even closer then they had originally thought. Chan eyed the being and noticed he had some armor left on his arms and torso, how it got there he would have no idea. Saeko threw out some gestures that seemed to mean that we would need FIRST, remove the being standing in front of the giant, and THEN attack the giant at will.

Chan looked down at his handseals and released he had finished them a long time ago. Jimarai was quicker at these, one of the perks of being a more experienced ninja, and then a few chains raised up from the ground and wrapped themselves around the giants arms, he could barely move but it looked like Jimarai couldn't hold it for long, a high ranked jutsu like this? it would be a nightmare to hold. "GO NOW!" Jimarai shouted, and Chan's hands hit the ground simultaneously while a large bird of sand rose from the ground, Chan leaped onto the birds back as it flew straight up into the sky, His concentration had to be great though.

The Sand Falcon, flew a little higher before it dipped back down nearly upside-down and flew towards the man on the ground. Chan grabbed the frozen man by the arms, and flipped the bird right-side up as he flew nearly 50 meters away and plopped him down on the ground. Chan was not sure what the others would do. He flew back and aimed his bird directly at the giant 'Hopefully the chains will last' Chan thought as he increased the speed of the bird.

It seemed that her companions were quick to get into position, she was pleased by this. They even seemed to grasp the meaning of her odd signals, which was another sign of a good start. There was a bit of motion in the corner of her vision, Jim doing seals, however the moment he finished she could hear the ground shaking. Within a few seconds a pair of massive chains locked the giant in place, causing a smile to spread on her face. That was a more peaceful solution to the problem, though she knew that it was not over yet. As she prepared herself for the worst, Chan swooped in and removed the brave villager from harms way.

The giant roared with a primal fury, it almost seemed as if he was mindless and his only objective was to destroy. Saeko frowned slightly, rushing out towards the restrained man. He had to have been sent by someone, there was no way a seemingly simple man would be spurred on to violence for no reason at all. Coming to a dead stop only ten meters away, Saeko stared the giant down who noticed her movement as well. He stopped his flailing to stare at her for a moment, unable to take his eyes off of her. "What do you want here with this village? What have they done to you?" she asked, though she was unsure if he truly understood.

Blinking a few times, the giant laughed slowly, building up to an ear splitting ruckus. "I don't want nothin'. I jus' like a good fight." the man bellowed, pulling against the earthen chains with all his might. He would make a strong attempt to overpower Jim's concentration, no doubt his immense strength would make the strain of holding those chains incredibly intense. "We don't have to do this you know, you could stop now and no one would get hurt!" she called out, as if she truly believed she could reason with something that killed for fun. The only response was the giant, straining to get to his feet as he pulled against the chains.

Left with very few options, Saeko jumped back several feet, smashing her first into the ground. Releasing a controlled burst of chakra, she would attempt to open a fissure underneath the giant. This was to cause him to lose his footing, perhaps they could find another way to contain this man without having to murder him. "Jim! Do you have any other containment techniques!?" Saeko shouted, preparing for the worst case scenario, she would have to fight his brute strength with her own. Meanwhile he would give one might tug against the chains in an attempt for freedom.

"Let me go little bugs!" the giant roared.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

A few beads of sweat would drop down his burrow, his eyes closed, deep in concentration so as not to let his chakra output fluctuate, which would leave an opening for the Giant to escape.

A voice would pierce his concentration, asking if he had any other containment techniques. He had a genjutsu or two that could help, and another Doton technique, that is designed to kill, though given his size, would probably contain him adequately.

"Yep! Old dog's got a few tricks up his sleeve!"[/color]

There was nothing more that he could do than keep his hands to the ground and keep his technique up.

Chan popped his head around the falcon after turning around. Saeko had confronted the beast, but that did not stop his possible attack. Chan use his flick. To approach swiftly torwards the man. He could barely contain himself as he aimed down upon the beasts head. Chan used his chakra to tell the falcon what to do as he leaped down to the ground, sucking near Saeko before coming to a roll at her feet.

"Sorry... *pant* too much concentration on that one Sae, though he should do the job."

Han pointed up at his sand falcon still hurtling at the mans head then "poof" the falcon exploded into the sand it was, and Chan smiled as he thought it hit him square in the face.

[Matsu]

It seemed that Jim's chains were holding like a charm, though he was strained she could definitely tell. This needed to hurry up or else they would have a real fight on their hand. She couldn't tell why he wanted to hurt these people, there had to be a reason beyond a lust for violence! Watching out of the corner of her eye as Chan circled above with a falcon made of sand, she jumped back as the bird exploded into the sand it was made of and covered the mans face. The giant absolutely roared with fury, having the stinging grains in his eyes.

"This ends now!" Saeko shouted as she jumped onto the giant. Running along it's stomach, she stopped at it's face and draw back her arm. Gathering the chakra into her right first, she struck down with all the force she could muster. There was a resounding crack as her first struck the giants skull, the bone having split a bit. His skull was thick, it would take more than a single strike to finish the job. The immense amount of pain he was in would summon a berserk rage from the man, causing him to pull with all his might. If Jim wasn't strained enough before, this would be the pull that ended the restraints.

As he stood, Saeko would leap backwards off of the giant, looking to one of her team mates for some sort of covering fire. She needed to get away from him, he had superior reach with his long arms. A single shunshin carried her as far backwards as she dared to go, she didn't want to be far enough away for projectiles either. "Even if we were able to capture him we couldn't detain him, aim to kill.." Saeko said, though her tone carried sorrow in it as she came to the logical conclusion that there was no other way. "Hit him where I did, right above the right brow. I cracked his skull."

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Chan would smash the beast in the face with his sand falcon followed by Saeko launching herself and assaulting his brow, leaving an audidle crack to signify the hit. Meanwhile, without wanting to exert the majority of his chakra Jimarai had no choice but to disengage the technique and he woulod rise, removing his hands from the ground, ending his chakra stream. The chains would remain but as Saeko hit the Giant he would stumble backwards, now not as tightly restrained by the chains, their presence merely acting now as loose bindings, until they eventually slumped off of his large stature.

He was still standing in relative cover, half behind the corner of a building and he would use this to his advantage. Forming a train of seal he would project a small burst of chakra outward, dirrected at the Giant and if effective, would result in a loud booming sound within its own skull. Of course, the natural reaction to such an occurance would be to grip ones head in pain and confusion, allowing his teammates more time to launch their assault without being attacked in revenge by the beast.

After the technique would be complete Jimarai would set off another quick set of seals, after waiting but a moment for confirmation of the previous technique working. Another pulse of chakra directed towards the assailant would result in, if successful, the illusion to the man, that the earth had momentarily split apart, gravity had done its job and he had slipped into the fissure, and suddenly the earth had knitted itself back together, resulting his his foot up to his shin appearing to be stuck, with no way of extricating himself.

Nodding to himself, these Genjutsu techniques should hold him long enough for Saeko or Chan to deliver a killing blow. "You're welcome ... Mmm.." Striding back a few steps he would hazard a glance over his shoulder to see if his comrades required further assistance. If they did, he would turn on his heel and prepare himself for whatever the situation needed, otherwise he would slowly walk away to check on villagers and that they had all been evacuated safely.

Boutou no Jutsu (Boom Technique) [10]

Effect: Creates a large booming sound that echoes within the opponent’s skull. Only they can hear it.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ----
Description: Creates a large illusionary booming sound within the opponent’s skull. Because it is genjutsu, only the target can hear the sound, which can then disorient the opponent or weaken the opponent’s resolve as well as cause an immediate distraction. As the sound is not real, no actual damage is done to the ears and as such they may continue to hear fine afterwards.
Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception, must know Sasayaki no Jutsu


Magen: Daichi Fusen (Demonic Illusion: Ground Slip) [20]
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: Genjutsu
Effect: Causes the opponent to believe that a part of their leg is caught within the ground.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The effect is only illusionary, meaning that it does nothing to the opponent if they break the illusion.
Description: Gathering chakra via use of handseals, the shinobi releases this chakra to attack the opponent's brain. The brain, thus affected, will cause an illusion within the mind stimulating the senses of touch, sound, and sight. Within the opponent's vision, a small portion of the ground will gave way underneath either their right of left foot, causing them to lose their balance slightly. They will then find that the ground is seemingly closed again, except now their foot is caught within the ground. Unless dispelled, they become unable to move away from that spot.
Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception

[Matsu]

It seemed that Jim had more than just ninjutsu up his sleeves, a quick smile spread on Saeko's face as she watched him go to work. Though she couldn't see it, she could tell what was happening by the way the giant man reacted to it all. Grabbing his head, he seemed to be in pain from some invisible force, though he shouted twice as loud as he grabbed the portion of his skull that was split open. They were going to be very successful here it seemed, the brute was all brawn, no brain at all. She had come expecting some sort of well trained killer, but he was nothing more than a raging freak.

Summoning her strength, Saeko launched herself into the air towards the best as he stomped back and forth. She could practically hear the chakra hum as she draw all her strength into the right fist, her chakra incredibly potent and volitile in this form. The giant would never have much time to react as he looked down to see that his foot had been swallowed up by a "fissure" when in reality he was perfectly fine. Giving a sharp whistle, Saeko forced the mans attention on her once more as she smirked, delivering an earth shattering blow to his forehead. She could tell that she had hit the sweet spot, the previous fracture splitting even more, causing internal swelling and bleeding. In only moments the giant would fall onto his back, twitch a few times, and then fade.

This was far from over for the villagers though. Looking around, there were hundreds of dead bodies, those poor souls who had not made a run for it in time. There were also those who were wounded, maimed beyond the ability to flee for their lives. Policing the bodies, Saeko would quickly set about sorting the wounded from the dead, knowing who to evac and who to leave behind. After that she would have to do a damage assessement, who was the most injured, who needed help the quickest. Her mind was in a frenzy as she went about her work, something she was incredibly used to. A man bleeding out here, easy, a broken leg over there, not a problem.

It could only be described as awe inspiring to watch her help these people, no regard for her own saftey. She hadn't even wasted a second in making sure the giant was dead, she was immediately at the side of some wounded woman. "You're going to be okay ma'am, I need you to try and relax.. I'm going to give you some oxygen." she said, hands glowing white as she assisted the womans lungs with breathing. After that, she would set about disinfecting the wound, before focusing on trying to patch it.

The mission was over?

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Medical ninja to boot huh?

Walking around and carrying those that could not walk, Jimarai set to work in removing the remaining villagers to safety and seeing that the other villagers were tending to them. Walking up to his commander he would drop to a knee as she was healing someone.

"Good job there ... remind me never to get on your bad side, hehe. Anything you want me to do? I only have basic field dressings and I've already used half."[/color]

He would await her instructions and then follow them, however before doing this, he would walk over to the giant, and see much blood coming from his forehead. Jimarai was nothing if not methodical and didn't like things coming back to bite him in the ass, so he drew his tachi from its sheath and with both hands plunged it into the mans throat, sure to finish him off if he wasn't already. Cleaning his sword on teh mans own shirt he would then sheath it and carry out any instructions that were provided.

Saeko checked over her work to make sure it would hold as she stood up, taking a few steps back. A grim expression still sat on her face as she looked over all the wounded, wondering how she would get them all to a hospital. There really wasn't much she could do besides get them into some sort of shelter and then go back to send them help. Sighing softly, Saeko looked over to Jim as he finished off the giant for sure, cutting his throat. Her face wrinkled as she felt bad for him at the same time, he was most likely just a misunderstood creature, as most were in this world.

"There isn't much else we can do for them. Other than move them into the building here and send help back for them." she said, lifting a small woman, and moving her inside. She wanted to examine him, perhaps figure out where he came from, discern his origins. If she could do that, perhaps she could figure out the motivation behind such hatred, he was most likely taught to do this by some nation that disliked them most likely.

For now her healing and field dressings would have to hold, for now their own doctors would have to be enough.
