off to the circus! [travel]

Mikio was actually kind of excited, he saw fliers posted around town about a circus that was going to be in the Land of River. Of course he grabbed one for himself, so he wouldn't forget where he was going somehow. Now, he knew that he had to go south, basically. Through the Land of Grass, then all the way through the Land of Rain, and then he'd be in the Land of River! Awesome, at least he had the general direction in mind.

To start off, the redhead used the wings he had from the Tsubasa clan to go airborne, flying instead of running since it was a little faster. That got him a pretty good distance before it started to wear him out, and he returned to the ground only to start running along the ground. For the most part it was easy, since Kusa was mostly grasslands and he didn't have to worry about trees getting in the way.

About when Mikio reached Ame no Kuni, he had to stop and rest for the night, he made up camp in the middle of a dense forest. Luckily enough he had been able to find a tree that had an uninhabited hole inside of it, because he would have been screwed otherwise thanks to the rain. The next morning, it was still raining, much to his dismay. And since he wasn't in friendly territory anymore, he decided to go by foot. Not to mention the rain could weigh down his wings.

The redhead actually kept a minimal amount of chakra on the soles of his feet, just to make sure he wouldn't slip and fall, or sink in mud. Plus he was able to just run straight over any small lakes he encountered on the way. Thankfully he wasn't running into any enemy ninja along the way, which he was thankful for. He just wanted to see the circus, damn it! And once more he had to stop and rest before he neared the border of the land of river, and thankfully the rain had stopped so he had been able to start up a fire for the night to keep him warm. The next morning he was refreshed and continued on with his journey.

Once Mikio reached the Land of River, he continued on until he could see the lights of a circus in the distance. And then he went straight for them, like a moth attracted to flame.
