OOC: I Have to admit I'm very new to this. So I have no idea what to write. I tried reading a few threads but I didn't really get any ideas about how to start these quest threads
IC:
Haku walked along a random dirt path that would eventually lead him to the main street of Konoha where all the markets were. He walked with his hands in his pocket, kicking loose stones out of the ground as he trudged along. It was meant to be an exciting day for him yet for some reason he was sad to leave home. He decided to travel the country in search of a new technique a technique that would set him out from the rest of the ninja he had to compete with.
Looking at his map he stared at the first small town where he would most likely rest for the night, from there he could easily stow away on a boat that will take him to some far off land or resupply and continue his journey.
He had limited funds but enough to see him living comfortably for a period of time. The remainder of my his money he'd have to make by doing odd jobs. Of course being a ninja has it's perks.
It was finally time to leave the village for however long it took, it was time for him to face the next big obstacle in his path. The Chunin exams had missed him once again but this didn't mean he couldn't go for them next time. In fact if this journey of his turns out the way he thought he'd be a Jonin soon.
Suddenly he became nostalgic as he made his way to the village gate's. His home in the village is all he had known for 18 years, yes he has traveled to other countries briefly but never for such a extended period of time as he was planning to do now.
It wasn't far off to say that recent events had given him a new perspective on how he handles people. His mentor had invested a lot of time into his training and had only ever asked that he train hard. What confounded him the most about the scenario is that his mentor was in fact a senior member of the high family. Usually it was shunned for a member so high teaching a member so low as Haku, however his mentor had seen a valuable aspect of Haku.
Before long he found himself moving out of the village gates and into the land of fire.
