Hand Wraps [x4]
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, Accessory, 4 Rolls per Slot, Straps
Effect: Protect the knuckles and wrists when training and sparring.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Pictu re Protecting the boxer’s hands and wrists when engaged in sparring, hand wraps are made from gauze and tape and allow boxing gloves to fit securely and comfortably around the hand. A hand wrap is a strip of cloth used by boxers (and participants in other combat sports) to protect the hand and wrist against injuries induced by punching. It is wrapped securely around the wrist, the palm, and the base of the thumb, where it serves to both maintain the alignment of the joints, and to compress and lend strength to the soft tissues of the hand during the impact of a punch. A hand wrap protects against several common types of injuries that are familiar to most boxers. For instance, it supports the wrist joint, keeping it aligned when the impact of a punch is absorbed by the wrong part of the hand. It also secures the base of the thumb to the hand, thereby reducing the chance of a sprain or fracture that can result from the thumb striking an opponent's elbow. Most importantly, it significantly strengthens the metacarpus, reducing the likelihood of a fracture of one of the metacarpal bones. Such a fracture is often called the "boxer's fracture" -- which is usually a fracture in the neck of the fifth metacarpal -- because of its ubiquity among fighters. The wrap is two and a half inches diameter when wrapped, two and a half inches wide, while the length is 120 inches.

The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.

Character Depth
Personality:
Although he is not the one to use unnecessary violence, Oomori does use his strength to solve problems whenever the opportunity arises. And thanks to his clan's frightening stamina and muscle, his direct approaches usually pay off, blinding him from the fact there are more ways to solve a problem besides facing it head-on. His fascination with brute force and close-quarter combat projects itself on many more aspects of his life. This might make him seem a little wild and hot-tempered to those who don't know him, despite this not being the case.
Ambition, with a dash of stubbornness
Oomori is an ambitious fellow, who always seeks to push himself to the limit and always has a goal in mind for himself. Whether it is defeating a rival or mastering a new technique: Oomori is capable of dedicating all his time and effort to surpassing himself and accomplishing whatever it is he has set his sight on. Failure is only seen as a reason to train harder and try again. A wonderful mentality, were it not for the fact that the stubborn little shark doesn't know how to give up when one of his goals is simply out of his reach. To make things worse, Oomori tends to relate most failures to a lack of physical strength, endurance and stamina and focuses on those alone. It takes a surprising amount of effort from his elders to get Oomori to follow the occasional technique and theory lessons.
Enthusiastic and reckless
Though he can get quite whiny when he feels the task at hand will be easy, Oomori can plunge himself into adventure with unrivaled enthusiasm when he gets the idea that he is up for a challenge. There are both pros and cons to his hot spirit. Pros's being his great confidence, cheerful spirit in the face of danger and ability to make quick decisions. Cons being recklessness in actual dangerous situations and an inability to keep his head cool when he receives notice of some action.
A great friend, a frightening foe
Like most “chaotic good” aligned people, there are two sides to Oomori. One being a kind-hearted and loyal, a great and trustworthy friend to those who are fortunate enough to have him on his side. The other being chaotic and brutal, the kind of foe you would not want to fight. In general, Oomori is quite social and gets along well with most new people he meet. Once someone made it to his black list however, he's in for quite a beating. Oomori's urge to “get physical” is a horrible combination with his inability to tollerate people he considers mean, injust or even evil. The youngster gets into fights relatively often.
Loud and direct
Oomori is not subtle. Not in actions, not in speech. The young shark is almost as talkative as he is energetic and, because of his loud and booming voice, is quite hard to overlook when present. With the best intentions, he usually speaks his mind and says exactly what he thinks, to the point where he might even be considered blunt. A trait treasured by some, yet frowned upon by others. After all, at one hand, you know exactly what he thinks of you and whether or not you can count on him. But at the other hand, he ever so often makes jokes or remarks that could be considered painful.
[/ul]
Appearance:
Like the gray reef shark that was used for during his clan ritual, Oomori has a smooth, dark gray skin covered in very tiny scales. A pair of gills cover his cheeks and a dangerously sharp set of teeth is visible in his ever-so-often grinning mouth when he is not wearing hisre-breatherr. His hair is a slightly darker shade of gray than his skin and is usually kept quite short.
Though he is very masculine for his age, Oomori is not the most handsome of children. His jaws, short chin and large, flat nose give him a rather prehistoric look - A somewhat caveman-like feeling. His small, beady eyes are a vague shade of yellow with, despite Oomori's great visual capabilities, tiny pupils that are barely noticed.
The Hoshigaki are known to be substantially larger and tougher than most regular shinobi. Oomori however is an exceptionally large and muscular kid, even for the shark people. With his ninja way being almost completely centered around Taijutsu, Oomori spends most of his time training his body towards perfection, which even though he has his limits, causes him to be top fit at every moment. He has a very obvious muscle tone and is as ripped as a 14-years old could get. He usually wears somewhat too tight clothing which, despite looking ratherridiculouss, emphasizess his large chest and firm biceps and makes a man think twice before taking the youngster on in a brawl.
Attire of the shark
Òomori usually walks around in somewhat tight, dark blue pants and a not-so-well fitting gray shirt with short sleeves and his clans symbol on the back. Though some might consider his outfit a little to small andridiculouss looking, the proud Oomori figures it just compliments his large chest. Fortunately, the shirt is usually covered by the typical black and blue Amegakure tactical vest.
Oomori's hands are usually wrapped in bandages, to protect them from his harshexercisess. He wears some standard, black sandals and carries, like many Amegakure genin, a gas mask around which is usually put on before starting a serious battle.
