In the mid-morning there was a loud thunder and the village shook. The sound of the din was such that it made the man tremble with fear or sounds. The area that this terrible sound came from was unknown, and the method by which it had been made was just as unknown. Standing in a clearing was a lone figure. Then man was simply known as Subject Delta, a test subject trained by the village secretly. His true potential was hidden by a veil of secrets and misinformation. Delta stood there holding his scythe over his shoulders and began to head towards where he believed the sound came from. His scythe balanced perfectly upon his shoulders. His gaze was catching all things, much like a flame catches moths. He noticed the smaller things and then noticed a noise that was carried by the air. Trees were cracking; something was coming closer towards him. A nervous man would have held his breath and try and hide his body. Delta however, was not a nervous man and his experiences has taught him to know better. He stood there waiting for the target to arrive and meet him. He opened his mouth and a string of words came forth. ”Come out, come out, where ever you are.” he said in a childish tone of voice. Another cracking of trees and out came a bull roaring and snorting in the air. It cried loudly and he heard how loud it was. It was not the source of the noise that he was looking for.
He smiled and looked at the raging creature. ”You are not the one I was looking for, but I will have to deal with you nonetheless.” he told the maddened creature. Delta held planted his scythe in the ground and watched the movements of the creature. It raised its head up and down, bobbing in a threating manner. Delta watched the movements activating his linages birthright. He performed his hand seals and focused his chakra in and through his body and the area. The bull roared once more and charged him. Snorting as it did so, and tearing up the ground with its’ hooves as it charged. Delta merely smiled and extended out his palm, sending an electric bolt from the depths of his hand. His chakra fluxing and flexing as it formed the bolt of lightning. The lightning dipped and dived through the air moving towards the enraged animal. The animal was in a dead charge, heading straight towards the shinobi from the Waterfall Village. The bull was unable to change its’ path in time to avoid the hit. The blow landed on the bull’s head and sent it flying backwards, through the air and landing on its’ back. The bull was now by the trees’ that it had so easily destroyed. Delta merely smiled and turned to his scythe, extending his hand towards the weapon. He placed his grip around the staff portion. Just as he was about to pick up the staff part the bull arose.
It looked at the Waterfall ninja, now venomous rage swelling in its’ eyes. Delta stood there for a few moments, wondering how this creature could withstand such a hit. Clearly it had been trained and strengthened it to withstand hits. This creature must have had a very strong and very hard life. He felt a little shred of pity, of a shred however, nothing more or less. He drew his hand back from his staff, knowing now that he would have to put more power in the next hit. His chakra began to rise in his body once again, as he prepared himself for another use of the same jutsu. He took a minor breath, nothing noticeable. His hand began to fold and twist themselves through one another and he watched as they began to perform hand seals. Delta smiled as he felt his chakra rose and tossed through the air, matching and then surpassing the levels he had just brought about. He began to increase the amount of chakra in the air as well. The bull gazing at him stood up and took its’ hooves and dug into the ground. It tossed the ground with its’ hooves and then snorted out puffs of air in a defiant motion. It raised its’ head up and down once again and then lowering it for another charge. Its’ horns were sharp and dangerous and they aim directly at Subject Delta. Roaring as it took off it tore the ground apart with its’ run.
Delta stood there reliving the past that had just past, not a few mere seconds ago. Hold his chakra until the last second was a tricky move, but Delta knew that he could do it. A smile of sadistic and questionable nature quickly flashed over the ninja’s face, before disappearing. His chakra being concentrated Delta focused his chakra and pointed his hands towards the target. As he focused his chakra it began to strike up static in the air. The current and charge began to rise and a bolt of pure lightning chakra formed. The attack was sent flying through the air, hurling about and tossing itself up and over as it did so. The target was marked and not moving away from the bolt. No, the bull was charging headlong, hoping to take down the jutsu of his clan and bloodline with just its’ strong features. Almost insulted by this naïve attempt to defeat his jutsu by this bull Delta quickly realized better and kept his mind in check and in control of it. Delta watched as the hit landed and the force of the attack could be heard around the area. Delta watched as the bull was sent flying through the air and landed into the trees it had appeared from. The bull had taken a direct hit, twice, from his lightning based attack. The currents had done damage to the beasts muscles and they had been torn by the currents going through the muscles. The electric charge had literally ripped the muscles and damaged the organs from the trauma of the shock. The beast had tried to fight but now was unable to.
Delta watched as the beast tried to get up and then fell down. The man knew that the beast was unable to continue the fight. He just looked at the downed animal, it was not wounded enough that the animal would die and he knew it. He knew just by the looks of the animal that it was just injured and would take time for him to heal. Delta stretched out his hand grabbed up his scythe and tugged on the weapon. To his relief the weapon came out fo the ground rather easily. He placed his sickly looking weapon upon his should once again. He wrapped his arms and hands around the staff of the weapon and held it there. He then turned and began to walk towards were he had heard the sound. He wanted to find the source of this sound.[/size]
