Appearance.
[/font]- Height - 6'
- Weight - 190 lbs.
- Hair Color - White.
- Eye Color - Red.
--- The Onigami has an odd appearance to him, and a a slightly frail one also. His slim body shows nice abs as his slightly lanky body makes him appear stronger then he truly is. Its not unheard of though, especially from a man of his kekkei genkei's decent. The pal skinned Koori is a young fit man, but his blood restrains him as much as it aids him elsewhere. The thin yet tone Koori stands at 6' even, and weighs about a buck ninety (pounds). He has Red eyes, however, which is almost as odd as his
His bloodline once again take this part of his being over, as the red eyes are a symbol of the Tasukeru, his bloodlines "All seeing eye". Going down from the hair area to the torso is when things continue to get odd. He is birthed of a rare clan that attaches additional arms to its children. How he is within said clan will be explained later, but the arms are indeed helpful, although people seem to look at Koori weird for them also. He wears a specially cut out shirt for arms, plain white, with the Tasukeru Kanji on the back of the white T - Shirt.
Over that, he wears a long red cloak, one pitch black spider is placed on the very back of the cloak, a sign of homage to the Kumomusha Clan. He wears fingerless gloves, nothing special, along all of his six hands. The cloak generally covers his arms outright as it has no arms wholes, covering his hands from plain and obvious sight. He keeps the cloak closed over and buttoned up on both sides of the cloak as often as possible to conceal his extra arms. His pants and feet wear also seem to follow the red and black clothing trend. The pants of like that of Samurai, very baggy and black in color, while what appears to be a white in color rope holding the pants up as though a belt.
He wears a pair of red and black laced rubbed soled shoes, with black socks. It is odd that he wear shoes rather then ninja sandals, and nontraditional, but Koori never was very traditional to begin with. His weapons pouch is over his right ass cheek. Koori has light skin, white in color, very pale. He also had a tattoo of a polar bear on his back, going all across it. The Bear wields a smoothie in one hand, a claymore in the other, and wears aviator sunglasses, while fighting evil in the desert. Its truly an epic sight to ones eyes.
One final note about the Jounin's appearance is his beanie cap he has started wearing. It is black in color, contrasting with the black in his pants and fingerless gloves. He once wore his Otokagure headband on his bicep, but that is no more. Since he wears the beanie, he prefers to wear the headband in a more traditional manner to to speak. He has cut the headband itself from the cloth is comes with standard, and attached it to the front of the beanie he now wears.
Persona.
[/right]- Chaotic Good.
- Normally peaceful and calm.
- Motivated by his own ideals.
- Generally goofy/funny.
- Sarcastic/wise ass.
- Rugged/Tough.
- Prefers tactical assault over brute force.
- Loves Coconuts.
- Often Lazy.
--- Koori although a rather wise ass and sarcastic person mostly always, can and has found random acts of kindness in his persona. Why? Who knows. He certainly doesn't. He doesn't feel much remorse for people, their feelings, or problems there of. Koori is normally always out for himself and personal gain, unless there is a girl he likes. Even then, he isn't exactly the nicest of boyfriends. He cracks many jokes about whatever he feels he can without pity or remorse for peoples feelings. If he is not bothered or plagued by the idiotic ideals of the morons about him, Koori is generally a peaceful guy, and calm so long as things go the way they are supposed to. Koori is motivated strictly by his own ideas and ways of life. Its difficult and perhaps impossible to push outside ideas onto him, he normally thinks his ways are the best ways.
This is not to say he is arrogant about his ideas, just holds a silent confidence about himself and his decision making. He holds the decision making of others highly if those decisions are good and well thought out and is not beyond listening to others ideas. But don't think he won't try to weasel his own ideas within those first chance he gets. Koori posses a ruggedness to himself that he presents quite often despite being a Onigami and frail. His toughness is not taken for granted by his comrades either, and many respect both him, and his decisions because of it.
Koori is incredibly goofy also though, especially with those he enjoys the company of. He as mentioned earlier cracks lots of jokes and is almost childish to some degree. Koori acts like an academy student in some of the most serious situations and pranks people far too much for being a Jounin. This is proably why he was passed up by Elgar to assume the throne of Otokage.
He has an incredible addiction to Coconuts and coconut juice. He loves it. They are incredibly expensive, but sometimes, one has to satisfy their own needs. Koori is also very calculative in his actions. Koori prefers tactical assault over brute force almost always. This is most likely because he is weak physically. Koori was always smart and intellectually better then most of his graduating class. Koori could usually out think his opponent, with the help of his doujutsu and other techniques of course, but out think non the less.
When he isn't off hunting for Coconuts or the village hotties, Koori is usually lazing about. Nothing beats the relaxation of Coconut juice, and a nice warm bed. Except being in that bed with a village hottie, of course.

The Story
His favorite game. Ever since he played it when he was little, Koori's favorite game was Musical Chairs. Even growing up, he loved Music. He loved it as a baby, or so his mother would always say, but he highly doubted it, cause he didn't remember. Whatever the case, he loved music, and it was ironic cause he lived in the Sound Village. Had grown up there his whole life, but had a deeper past then perhaps even he knew. His parents were not exactly two peas in a pod, either. One was of a rare and destined bloodline, and his father of the spider clan. The spider clan was far more dominant in both appearance and prowess, at least from what I could tell. Oh, how wrong he was. He was never really a likable guy growing up, yet somehow he had friends, and quite a bit of them too. He was a meanie yet people still hung out with him and did stuff.
Life felt like a rather large game of Musical chairs, in all honesty. No pun intended, but with so many heritages (two felt like alot, ok?) Koori felt like he had so much history that he was not told of. His mother wrote off her bloodline saying that the Onigami were a nomadic group that traveled alot and never had a true place of origin. Years later, this proved to be completely true, but one could see how it could seem very fishy. The Kumomusha were a clan of spider warriors with multiple arms. Koori's father told him of a story where he was given his four other arms. It was indeed out there, but within reason. Koori found it cool that he had multiple arms and some awesome ass eyes to lean on as he grew up, but those tools would prove to be not enough as age came with Koori through the years and through the academy.
Koori received average grades in the academy and school. He was smart, just didn't care enough to get good grades. He honestly saw no reason, as long as he passed he would be a shinobi, a higher grade meant nothing. It keep him in a group a friends though that he would never forget. He met about four of five people within the academy, all of which he stayed very close with, who's names will be mentioned later on. What made them so interesting and intriguing to Koori was their own abilities and personalities and the like. The were truly unique. It just saddened him knowing he could never be in the same team as all five of them, since squads were three Genin, one Jounin. Regardless, he knew they would keep in touch and do missions together eventually. They did lots of things before the academy ended together, all types of things friends would do, they were close.
--- Beats of my stereo.[/i] [Genin Life.]
After graduating from the academy, Koori had a pretty typical Genin life for the most part. Like anyone else, he was assigned to a team, with a leader, and they, like all teams, did missions. However some missions, go wrong, and end up with captives, or with interruptions for enemy villages, or just other shinobi in the wrong place at the right time. Koori was in a group with two other male shinobi. This is rare because most group and teams consist of atleast one female. This one did not. Koori was in a group with his two closest friends. He was always close with other shinobi in the academy, but these two were the closest, they new just about everything about one another, cept' for some kekkei genkei nuts. Regardless, they were a close nit group. They're Jounin leader was a Lizard Clan guy from the earth country, and lived in the desert part of it to the south when he was younger. He showed Koori a great variety of doton skills and his team mates skills they could use also. Training and bounding were done with the team, but the bounding was mostly unneeded. The training however was more so focused on.
Koori and his team as Genin always were training early on or so it seemed. They trained together and against one another, always sparring when they were bored. It seemed they were constantly pushing one another to be better and stronger. Koori's bloodline however hampered him from some of the taijutsu based things in life, and he focused mainly on ninjutsu. Doton skills were nice, until they finally went on their first mission. It was an escort mission, of high priority. How his team got the job was beyond him, Koori didn't think his team ready for such a feat. IT was here, they got ambushed by multiple samurai from all angles. They weren't stealthy like ninja so the sound shinobi saw them clearly coming down the road, but not the ones to the sides. There was about 15 of them in total, and 4 of the shinobi to defend the one man. Their was a scuffle that ensued, but everyone in their group was well equipped for battle by now. Doton skills and debris went everywhere. It was here Koori made his first kill, by accident.
Koori's perspective-
I used the Earth Senbon Technique as the senbon formed from the earth all over the place about me, shooting out about 50 senbon (it was a favorite technique of mine). I killed two samurai, but I didn't want to, at the time. I just wanted to be successful with the mission, carry out our duty as shinobi and what not. I froze when they died, and it was my own fault, and I should have died. However my sensei was too good, and caring for that matter, and jumped in front of a samurai's blade and took a hit for me, that would have otherwise been fatal. I turned and shot more senbon at the samurai, killing him, on purpose and in rage this time. I wanted to cry, but there was no time to weep. The man was in danger, and his life was the purpose of this mission, why I killed a few, why my sensei was bleeding out now. I quickly turned and protected him and my other team mates helped me. I quickly used a Rock creation technique and threw up a wall at them. They fled luckily. It was here I wanted to help my sensei for his sacrifice, and wish I knew how, but did not at the time. We barely escorted the man safely, and my sensei was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. He survived, but the memory was scarred in my head forever.
I told myself from there on out I would make sure that could never happen again. Either by not caring enough for people, or by saving them, or putting myself in a situation where I could save them. As we progressed and trained after sensei got healed and better. I began training something on my own time, Medical Ninjutsu. I also started to get slightly darker personality wise. I began to disconnect from the people closest to me so that loosing them if it would happen in such a way, wouldn't hurt as much. My medical training occupied most of my time as did my missions and my team. I began going into other thing while training with them after I mastered the earth release. Such as Genjutsu. A whole other experience. Such a weird skill set to have, yet so highly effective, especially with the Tasukeru. Genjutsu added another offensive capability with both my team and in solo fighting, something I was going to have to get better at as April approached quickly, as did the Chuunin exams.
--- Melodies of the passing time. [Chuunin Exams / Life.]
Genjutsu was something that took alot of knowledge and time to practice, considering how different it was from Ninjutsu or Taijutsu not only in development, but in practice. I met a man, in a shop within Otokagure, who was different from everyone else. He too, was a Genjutsu user, but his genjutsu was not something that sprang from handseals, but rather melody based. This was interesting. He spoke of how he came upon such a type of flute. He gave me one, and taught me the techniques of the Mateki, The Demon Flute. If you have no musical talent or a nack for beat or rhythm, doing anything musically related becomes a hassle. The Mateki was difficult to learn, but easy to master. Once you started learning and became good at it, with simple practice the Mateki was cake to master. This, coupled with my already good knowledge within genjutsu and doton, plus my kekkei genkei abilities, the Chuunin Exams should be a breeze! Atleast I thought. I never could have imagined how strong everyone that was attending would be.
I looked like a wimp compared to most of these morons. Most of them were calculative, but overall idiots. I believed for a long while I was far past my age group not only intellectually, but mature wise also. The Exams began. The first stage was a room full of a series of traps and other odd devices. Well, more so a house then a room, but you get the idea. We were told to find a scroll, hidden somewhere within a trap laden house. It was extremely difficult, because we could not utilize chakra, at the penalty of being disqualified. We eventually navigated the house and found the scroll, almost dieing three times. The second exam was a written part of the exam, where you had to write something without cheating and write a good way to blueprint through a mansion and steal something without getting caught. That was easy mode, and yet people failed that somehow. The third part, was a tournament. This would be the part where I picked myself out from the rest of the crowd, and shined. I was a great fighter ever since that scuffle with the samurai's. I was the youngest competitor in the chuunin exams, and that was already an alarming stat.
I easily made it through the tournament, but did not win, and almost died. I made it to the semi finals, and lost to a highly skilled 25 yer old genin who eventually won the whole thing. He had a rare kekkei genkei called the sharingan, I will never forget that. Regardless, I went home to Oto, and to my surprise was awarded Chuunin. They said they didn't even expect me to make it to the third round alive, let alone as far as I did. I showed great leadership qualities and great intellect. I was happy and peaceful for the moment. A Chuunin finally, I would be dismissed from my once team, and given my own as I did work at the academy, now teaching them, instead of being taught. So weird.
--- Jamming out[/i] [Jounin Exam / Life.]
Unlike the Chuunin Exam, a Jounin Exam is something done alone. Chuunins usually are done with teams. Jounin Exams, not so much. I did some MORE missions for Sound village and my kage, new Kage, seeing as the old died. It was the first time going through a kage change, and I didn't even know who this guy was, and he was giving me grief. What about, you ask? He challenged my knowledge of jutsu, my toughness, which really pissed me off. I let it mostly slide, cause apparently he was strong. Unfortunately as that much time eclipses, you grow bonds with people like the kage, even if you don't like the always, you have an understanding. Regardless, I was finally assigned my Jounin exam after a good long while. It was to go to a mansion found within the claw country and steal blueprints to build a catapult. Why? I still don't know, but the excuse they gave me was they were selling it to a enemy nation, and I bought it. I traveled there and infiltrated the enemies mansion, easily. With Genjutsu now as powerful as ever at my disposal, I easily created an Area of Invisibility about me and simply walked in and took the scroll blue prints, without so much as a scratch when leaving. It was then that I realized my Genjutsu abilities had reached an all time high combined with the power of my Doujutsu, and medical abilities, I'd be a force to be reckoned with anywhere.
Jounin life was something slightly different from the life of a Jounin. I received multiple Genin to train and take on missions and such, but after awhile of my unorthodox training methods, most Genin didn't want to join my team or be apart of me, and to be honest I liked it better that way, until my best friend that I legit grew up with, Elgar, become the Otokage, and was keen to my games, and forced me to train one singular Genin. His name was Trace, and he too was a Kumomusha, I had respect for him immediately for this. We met, and trained together for awhile, he was a Taijutsu user, and then we went on a mission together. We investigated a hallway in an alley in our very own village, and found murder and deception at every turn. The mission was taken on by higher ups (possibly ANBU) and me and trace went on our way. He recently has gone on to the Chuunin exams himself, so I have heard from him in quite some time.
