Objective: Defeat what the Master sends at you and win the fight.
Description: An old and experienced ninja, long retired, has returned to his home of Takigakure. He spoke with the Takikage and offered fighting lessons to any and all ninja. These lessons will simulate an actual battle that a Genin or Chunin would likely face in a war or conflict, such as facing other ninja who are at their level and, in rare cases, a ninja who is slightly above their level. This is all to prepare Taki for anything bad that may come, as well as bring it's ninja together for mingling and practice with teamwork.

Hiroki had spent the whole time babbling away at Shigure the use of this weapon or that weapon, something that he felt strongly about. The young boy wasn't quite sure what was in store but real battle training was better than just reading about it in books or hunting animals for the tracking practice. He came to a stop and only then did he let go of his cousin so that the older boy would no longer be dragged about. He didn't even know if that woman had followed.

He stepped away from the other boy and looked around the area, adjusting the bow that was slung around his upper body. It was a miracle that no arrows had fallen out of the quiver at his hip either, since he had run practically the whole way here. His weapon scrolls sat comfortably in the bag at his waist.

The area he had come to was an open clearing with a simple wooden house at the opposite end. It was ringed with trees, since that was simply the landscape of Takigakure. If this were battle simulation trees would be good, they were a good place to hide and shoot things. The boy didn't see the old man that had put the mission up in the first place though, which made him question whether or not this was the right place.

"Hey Shigure...we're at the right place, right?" he wondered, asking his cousin for the answer. After all, Shigure was the smart one.

As much as he didnt care what weapons this boy had, it was impulse that Shigure memorized his cousins stash of weapons, and there information. Such was his nature. As they came to a stop after being dragged for what seemed like eons, Shigure bent down and dusted off his sandals.

It wasn't long after Hiroki's rambling, that he found a question in the younger boy's speech. "I'm not sure... you've lived here longer.. you should know." His comment was of truth, but as Shigure gained his surroundings, it seemed like the right place. Without speaking, the teenager would move away from his cousin, further up to the house. "We should have waited for the others... I do believe we are rather early, but its just a hunch..."

"Well, what exactly are we supposed to be doing here? Does this seem like the place?" I queried stiffly, investigating, still not looking in their direction. I really had no idea what this whole ordeal was about yet.[/ul][/justify]

I had long since been inside the cottage with the retired Shinobi and had raised out of my chair to glance out of the window. Of course, the retiree had already known that the three Ninja were here before I did due to his experience on the battlefield. As I am lead outside, I noticed that Kaoru and Shigure were present along with another boy whom I had not seen before. And since I was first out of the small cottage, I would assume that the three Shinobi before me would be confused since I was already here. “Hey guys, you are all on time!” I beam, skipping down the steps as a result from my young age. I had not seen Kaoru in a long time and was very pleased to see her again. This also meant that I wasn't the only female in the team. The retiree approached the three newcomers and stared directly at Kaoru for quite some time before speaking. “I'm Yue, an retired Jounin of Takigakure.” His voice was as gruff as his appearance. He stood roughly at 5'1'' and was of medium build. His stomach was flat and showed evidence of an six pack and his body was evenly muscled. His face showed evidence of age, his mouth had a hard, cruelness to it yet his eyes were soft and a pale blue in color. Yue raked a hand through his white – grey colored hair and stopped at least 2m away from the group. I had moved to stand beside Kaoru,and remained silent. What Yue had in stalled for us would remain a mystery to me, but no doubt it will be challenging. “You four can quickly discuss what strategies you will be using against my tests. You all have five minutes.” Yue then said and fell silent while we all began our discussions.

“Well yeah I’ve lived here longer but I’ve never done a mission or really come out this way before Shigure” he whined to the older boy, stomping his feet slightly. Hiroki looked around the area a bit more before turning his attention to the older female ninja. He blinked, wondering what indeed the exact details of the mission were. “Well the scroll said that it would be battle training to practice teamwork and stuff.” The boy paused as he thought about it. “I guess we’re at the right place.”

No sooner did he respond to the older ninja than did the small girl walk out of the house with the older shinobi. Almost immediately did they have Hiroki’s attention, especially since the girl called out to them. Hiro jumped excitedly and waved at the both of them. After the older man introduced himself Hiroki bowed to him respectfully. “Nice to meet you.”

When Yue explained a bit more about the mission Hiro turned to his cousin and the other two members of the temporary team. His bright blue eyes gleamed as he introduced himself to the other two he hadn’t officially met yet. “I’m Hiroki!” he told them with a smile. He patted the bow that rested around his torso and grinned. “and I’m a great shot!” He would appear to be just a bit overconfident in his abilities, though he knew his own limits.

As Shigure stopped Speaking to his overly optimistic Cousin, he began hearing disdain from the much older Shinobi in the makeshift team. By mere compulsiveness, the young genin eyed the shinobi over, checking her height, approximate weight, hair color, hair style, eye color, skin tone, as well as attempted to find any detailing markings, though the search came up unfruitful. All that Shigure would notice was the tone of Her voice. It seemed uncaring, though there was a deep annoyance in it, like someone had offended her. It only took the avoiding eye contact and tone of voice to put things in perspective.


"Do you have a problem with us? Or, perhaps.... either one of us?" After saying this, his eyes darted to his cousin, Hiroki. It had to be him if it wasn't both, since Shigure had never met this woman before. "Though I may be over-reacting, I do that sometimes." Even though Shigure noticed something, he wouldn't press into it unless told. Just as he finished his little speech, he would turn to a familiar voice, belonging to the Takikage. Shigure immediately would nod to both of them, before listening to what they had to say.


After Hiroki's bland explanation, he would answer forth, not leaving out anything in his arsenal of abilities. "Semitsu, Shigure.... and im a mid range fighter. Im Skilled in Ninjutsu and genjutsu, and have dabbled in Taijutsu, though only ranged." The teenager continued after a short breath. "My arsenal in its self holds very little offensive abilities, and mainly revolves around Support, whether it be for me or a teammate." It would show that Shigure had stopped his speech, as he was became silent once more, and stared at Kaoru. If it wasn't for the old man and Rosalie asking for a strategy meeting, he wouldn't have shared his skill as a Shinobi, probably not even to his own flesh and blood. It wasn't like him to give away his weaknesses and strengths.

At that, I looked towards the kid. It wasn't much of a look - just a glance in his direction, eye contact brief. He didn't seem stupid as fuck, and that reassured me a little, but I was still embarrassed and annoyed that I'd been placed in a team of children. I chose to look towards the cabin again, and for once a welcome sight awaited me.

Out of the cottage skipped our young Takikage. Though she was probably younger than the other two kids, I didn't feel the disdain towards her that I usually felt towards smaller children. After all, she led our village - which was ridiculous, but at least it had to say something about her intelligence and maturity levels, at least when required. I smiled slightly as I saw her emerge, despite myself.

“Hey guys, you are all on time!” She proclaimed - so obviously we were in the right place, plus one respect for the kid's navigational skills. "Takikage-sama." I said, respectfully, but a slight hint of irony crept into my tone, not altogether unintentionally. Pronouncing the small, red-headed girl before me with such a title was still, and would probably always seem, slightly ludicrous.

After her walked out a much more sombre, serious character - an old man, but not old in the way that he had grown small and frail - more that the toughness and battle experience that he evidently had built up in his youth had matured into sage-like wisdom. At least that was my first impression. He stared directly at me after he emerged from what I assumed was his house, and I stared back levelly. Suddenly business seemed afoot.

“I'm Yue, a retired Jounin of Takigakure.” He announced. Jounin - damn. I hadn't been wrong. This guy obviously was experienced. The rising seriousness of the situation overall led me to instinctively bring one hand into another and crack my knuckles, an almost imperceptible grin creep up my face. Surely if we were in the presence of a Jounin, however retired, shit was about to go down, one way or another.

Rosalie moved to stand beside me. It was only then that I realized I'd tilted my body ever so slightly forward and spread my legs ever so slightly apart. I didn't correct myself, however. This guy felt powerful to me, and that was a built in response I'd attuned to feelings of surrounding power - preparedness for battle. It hadn't let me down yet. “You four can quickly discuss what strategies you will be using against my tests. You all have five minutes.”

Tests? I thought. I had received no news of tests. My eyebrow was about to shoot up, but I reckoned the old man - Yue - was scrutinizing me especially closely, and I did not want to seem unprepared for anything. So instead I let my surprise pass and moved straight on to feeling savage satisfaction. The way he announced tests led one to believe combat would be involved.

Oh wait. I'd have to talk to the others. Fuck.

My face quickly turned to look disgruntled as I moved around to face the 'group', my mouth a hard line. I didn't say anything for a moment, but after a while I felt, as the only adult, I had to say something. I turned to the younger of the two boys. "So, you say you're a good shot - you're ranged combat then." Turning to the other one, I asked, "And what is it that you can do?" Once again, just that hint of sarcasm that I'd probably never strain completely from my system. Mostly because I didn't really want to.[/ul][/justify]

Yue stood there holding his arms poised behind his back. He had a simple black button up jacket left open so his upper body could be seen, and his pants where loose black trousers which led down to black ninja boots. His grey hair seemed to ripple softly in the wind as he looked out yonder to the others around himself. They where seeming an odd bunch to the jounin; the type of genin group that dispersed after becoming chuunin due to a lack of true bonds.

It mattered not though, because he hoped to work on strengthening these bonds first with an exorcise he devised quickly in his head. He looked out to the tree's surrounding the area and made some mental plan's about how to set these kids up. It had already passed around 2 minutes and some change since the kid's where all discussing things.

And that was just when I was announced as Takikage. Ever since then, I had discovered a strong respectful liking for the elder woman, and had often thought about looking up to her for support. She was after all, a previous Takikage besides, Axel. As the others in the group began making their small introductions and noting their abilities and weaknesses, my attention shifted toward Hiroki as I had not seen him before. “Well three of you know who I am, but I don't believe I've met you before. Hiroki, isn't it? I'm Rosalie, your Takikage. It's always nice to meet a new Shinobi of mine and I do hope to see everyone's proper abilities throughout this mission. Teamwork is the ideal task for this mission besides taking on what tests Yue-senpai has in-stored for us. So despite the age difference, I trail off to glance toward Kaoru and then the two boys, “I would really like for the four of us to work together as a proper team while this mission is on, alright?” My tone had changed visibly to a more mature, firm one once Yue had stated that we make a quick introduction before the tests begin. But since none of my new teammates knew what my abilities were, I softened my tone and glanced around the group before speaking again. “Well, I'm a medic so if anyone gets hurt, I can heal you. I also am skilled in numerous clans such as Tsubasa, Yamanaka and Nara. And I am currently working on Genjutsu and a little Ninjutsu. I know no Taijutsu so I am more or a mid to range combat fighter.” I then say, while focusing a small amount of chakra to my back so that my wings would grow.

  Effect: Lets the user grow wings of a bird out of their shoulders.
  Special: Ram
  Drawback: The user may feel some pain, due to the initial outburst of the extra shoulder bones that are used for the rest of the wings to grow on. Cannot Re-grow wings that were ripped or severed from the body. If one wing is removed then it is impossible to retract the wings. If a wing is injured somehow, once retracted they cannot be used for 2 weeks OOC.
  Description: The user forms the handseal, and then the extra shoulder bones that come from the Ritual of Talon and Feather burst through the back of the user and they start to grow into wings of any given bird, through chakra increasing the length of the bones, (user chooses) that are twice the length of the user’s arms. Chakra will numb the pain, but it will still hurt. The chakra will also accelerate the growth of the skin, but it will come out with feathers, having stimulated the chemical. The user may then use the wings to fly and perform other techniques that require this jutsu. When the Tsubasa wishes it or has an injured wing they can retract the wings into their body to heal over time or simply to hide them.

With the simple exercises and control methods taught by the experienced Tsubasa, the user will rid them self of the problem of controlling a new appendage and be able to use their wings as if born with them naturally.

Hiroki didn’t see his explanation bland like Shigure did, it was upbeat and quick enough to get his point across (not to mention he was a good shot). He had a nearly ever-present smile on his face while the four of them introduced each other and discussed things. He looked to Kaoru as she asked what Shigure could do and a sweatdrop formed on his forehead. “I hate to be rude, but he just said that” he told her, scratching his cheek with his index finger.

The boy then turned to the girl that walked down. She couldn’t have been that much older than he was if she even was older, though it really didn’t matter. He blinked in surprise and almost immediately smacked himself on the forehead but didn’t, nodding his head out of respect for Rosie. She was only a kid, yet she was also Takikage. If anything, Hiro felt stupid for not recognizing that fact.

He glanced briefly back to Yue, but to the group as a whole before looking to Kaoru again. “What about you?” he asked. Shigure, Rosie and himself had already given their list of abilities, now it was a matter of figuring out how they would best work together.

He was caught slightly off guard when wings sprouted from Rosie’s back, staring at her in awe. “Cool…” he muttered, still smiling.

Silently watching the four of them, Shigure couldn't help but begin attempting to formulate teamwork within the group of four. Hiroki... Ranged, Rosalie-sama... mid to ranged, as well as healing, Myself... Mid ranged support, and Kaoru..." His thoughts stopped there, taking his gaze and resting it on Kaoru. She had yet to speak about her abilities, though, he had guessed they would have to be somewhat close ranged, or this team couldn't function perfectly, whether it be permanent or not. If we were to pass this test, we had to at least have all the natural components of a team.


As he waited for the older woman's response, he'd continue this thoughts, allowing Hiroki to answer for him when Kaoru asked for his abilities once more. Hopefully she had heard them, because Shigure didnt feel like making himself vulnerable once more.


It didnt take long for the young genin to already compile two battle strategies within his head. He wasn't necessarily a genius, far from it, but tactics is one thing he was born to work with. -Kaoru, depending on the style of her skill, and myself making a scene while Hiroki and Rosalie pick the opponent off at a distance. Or completely hiding the entire team while confusing them with forms of genjutsu, silently sneaking up on them from all angles.- These were very vague simulations, but Shigure hadn't known of Kaoru's abilities, and the fact that he doesn't know everyone's full abilities. Sure Genjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu are abilities, but what do they actually know? Everyone's answers, including Shigure's, weren't very helpful.

The only thing at that moment that stopped his endless rambling mind would be the fact that he saw someone quite different then anything he had seen before. Apparently the Takikage had sprouted wings. His mouth dropped low, his face seemingly horrified yet intrigued as well. was this a jutsu... or was she something other than an actual human? These questions now filled his mind, as he hadnt ever heard of any clan (though Rosie had just stated it) that deal with such abnormalities.

[/b] At this statement, I narrowed my eyes dangerously at the kid. "Little fucker." I thought derisively. Perhaps noticing, Rosalie chimed in.

“I would really like for the four of us to work together as a proper team while this mission is on, alright?”

"Tch." Was the only response I gave, so quiet it was likely inaudible to any of the group. These kids would have to prove themselves to me before I took them at all seriously. Just like Rosalie had. As I thought of the small girl she began a short monologue of her abilities, which were apparently extensive as it took several seconds. But it was as her speech finished that a truly remarkable event would occur. As I watched, wings seemed to sprout and grow from her back till they were of considerable span.

"Fuck, shinobi and their nifty little tricks..." I thought in awe and bitterness in near-equal measure. I had learned some acceptance of Ninjutsu from my time with Ryuuchou, but that didn't mean I had forsaken my envy of it. My teeth visibly gritted, though it was unlikely anyone not already looking in my direction would notice.

“What about you?” The kid asked me. I groaned slightly at the question, and at having been put on the spotlight with jackshit to say. Compared to their abilities, mine were so simple. So basic. I quickly concocted enough to say that I wouldn't sound like a complete moron. "Close combat. So, Taijutsu I guess. Mainly I use my fists, but I can wield a shield as well." I stated, though the massive aegis resting upon my back would probably have created such an assumption anyhow. I spoke with little emotion or conviction; when the battle went down, I didn't expect it would be anyone other than me, and maybe Rosalie, doing any of the fighting.

As that chapter of the story seemed closed - at least to my liking - I turned back to the old man. "So, what are we doing exactly? And where are we 'gonna be doing it?" I asked of him without hesitation. Enough of this strategy bullshit, could we please just get on with it?[/justify][/ul]

Yue had subtly turned around and made some quick handseals while the others had talked. They wouldn't have noticed him doing this because they where not as keen to keep eye's on him during their convo, which he had watched out for casually before he turned without causing any attention to himself. Even then, nothing would have been seen around the group anyway...

"There...in the wood's...you will come find me...now that you all have declared to each other what you are educated in...you can SHOW this to your village team mates...your first task is simple...find me and knock me on my ass..." With that Yue would stay standing until anyone of the other's would try to say anything or even make a sound. The very moment a voice would have been heard, the shuffling of clothing, or the sound of the earth being shifted under the other's feet; ANY sound from them at all and Yue would just disappear in a single flicker. The task was set, and the movement Yue disappeared they could consider themselves as good as involved in a combat scenario, with the designated target being the jounin's own self...

This did prove a problem for the group as I wasn't comfortable with her running into the battlefield on her own without anyone to be around her. Kaoru did pass me as the hot head in the group, she obviously screamed independence and probably worked well on her own. But since she was in this makeshift team, it was our job to provide backup should she need it. My attention then went to Hiroki, the range fighter. From the sounds of things, he specialized in range and marksmen-ship. So him being the anchor of the group might prove useful should anyone attack the team in front of him. But he would need to be hidden virtually at all times for this to be successful. Copper eyes then shifted to the young man who wanted to become a part of Team Phoenix Zero; Shigure. Shigure, who specialized in mid-range combat. He and I would most likely be in the center of the group while Kaoru was the direct front, the shield of the group. Not a too bad a team to be honest. All seemed mostly balanced out in my opinion, but will the others agree? As Yue began speaking up again, alerting the whole group with his gruff voice, his simple task for the group was to locate him and defeat him. Something sounded so simple enough, but for a group of Genin to locate a Ninja who is two ranks above them would be an incredibly difficult task. But once he disappeared in a fashionable manner, my attention then went toward everyone else. “Alright guys, I'm not trying to be leader here. But I do want to give out a suggestion: Hiroki-san is the range fighter out of all of us, so I suggest that he remains hidden at the very back of the group should Yue-senpai attack any of us in the front, I pause “Kaoru-chan obviously takes up the front since she primarily deals with close combat and possesses a shield, and Shigure-san will be in the middle.” I say wholeheartedly. I had a strong confidence in my idea since I believed it ideal for this type of team. I knew that with me being airborne, I would be able to watch over the team from above as well as attempting to locate Yue from the skies. I knew that we lacked communication devices, but that was something that I intended to change once we return to the tower to collect our payment. I had everything planned out. “And I will watch from the skies. Now, I know that none of us have any means of communication, so what should we do about that in the mean time?” I then ask, my tone dropping an octave to indicate a fault within my plan. But hopefully someone else within the group would pick up where I left off, or suggest something else before we head into the forest.

“I could probably shoot a warning shot or something like that but that would require that everyone be paying attention to a stick flying through the air at high speeds….I don’t think that’s a good idea, and I don’t have anything that’s flashy.” He sighed, taking the bow from around his upper body to hold in his hand so that he would be ready to go. “I’ll be good if I can stay back and hidden - I’m used to things like that.” He stopped a moment, thinking about the task that had been assigned to them. “I don’t think I’ll be able to track him like I’d track a deer though…” he stated flatly, scratching his cheek with his forefinger.

He sighed, all of the sudden feeling rather small within the group. He’d never tracked anything close to the level of a jounin. He looked around the immediate area, trying to find some sign that signified the direction that Yue disappeared in. The young genin shook his head and looked around to each person, now thinking about the team set-up. He might seem ditzy and not all there but he was bright, not stupid by any sense of the word.

The team itself seemed balanced; they had all the parts that any decent team had. However, Hiro felt that he had something more to prove. His cousin of course was one challenge; he really wanted to be friends with the other boy, especially since they were related. Then the Takikage was also on the team, even though she was just about as old as he was. That was a whole other stress in itself. And then there was that older shinobi, she just seemed to hate everyone and didn’t come across as a people person. Maybe he could get her to hate him a little less by the time that this was done.

Shigure smirked slightly as he listened to Kaoru finally speak to the group, though it was blunt. She did the same as the rest, making very vague answers to her abilities, but it was accustomed, with dealing with ninja. Turning away from the older girl, he trained his eyes on the Old Man, who had begun speaking, much to the ever-so-patient Kaoru's joy. Shigure listened carefully to see if there were any clues as to where to find him, and there were none. Of course not, this is a battle simulation, not hide and seek. Once the man made his leave, Shigure had thought about something odd, but true. This man now knows our abilities, and thus, a way to defeat us. "Stupid..." Was all that rang from the young boy's mouth. Hopefully no one took it was he was talking to them, he was merely talking to himself.

Only seconds after, Rosalie commanded attention onto the group. Her voice ringing through the air. He agreed with Rosie's plans wholeheartedly, since they had found out Kaoru's abilities. Though it would be a difficult task, this mission had to get done, but just as Rosie suggested.. they had no tools to communicate with. His brain immediately switched from the tactician, to communication. Though he uttered no words, Shigure's hand reached into his butt bag, and pulled out a Kunai. Within seconds, the young boy caught the sun's light on one of the weapon's sides, a stream of light bursting forth onto a nearby tree. "Since we cant talk to each other, being so far apart... we can give signals." Though, being in a small forest where signals cant be read well shot on ground level, it could serve useful, to say, someone in the skies. "There are too many shadow's in the woods, it would be hard for me to say... signal Hiroki, even if i could, it would be showing the Jounin exactly where my Cousin was."


After a breath, Shigure continued, "But if I shot a beam of light towards you Rosie-sama, you could signal back to either Kaoru-chan or Hiroki. Its simplistic, but i cant think of anything else." It was up to them to decide now, he knew it was a lame trick, but he couldn't think of anything else that they may all have. "And.. if you don't own any Kunai... ill give you one to hold." This hurt Shigure to say, for the mere fact that anything taken out of his arsenal, is another offensive ability ripped away. The boy relied heavily on his secondary weapons to be his attack force, since his sensei has yet to teach him anything useful offensive wise.

Now that I'd torn their plan to pieces, chewed it up, spat it out and squashed it with my foot, I suggested an alternate course of action. "What we need to do, at least until we find the guy, is stick close to one another. Once we know where he actually is, then we can employ some sort of strategy, like that formation. Which is probably the best one we're going to come up with anyway."

I was sick of waiting. There was only one direction to go into the forest. "Now, if you'd all kindly follow me. Use whatever means necessary to find the bastard." I said as I turned away and descended impatiently into the forest's woody depths. I was still ruffled that my allies versus a full-blown Jounin were children, but I paced along regardless, the trees growing surprisingly thick surprisingly fast.

This was going to fucking suck.

From the wood's out yonder eye's peered from the shadows of leaf like foliage. The watching eye's seemed to look carefully for the personality traits of the group of genin squabbling over proper teamwork. Yue seemed to think perhaps he had not done thing's right from the start; perhaps he should have told these kids to first work on bonding with each other first. But then he applied the wisdom of knowing what the higher echelons of a shinobi's life entailed.

He felt resolute in his course for training...

Better they squabble now in a practice scenario and he be the one to show them how comfortable disagreements in proper course of action could cost real seconds of strategic action. "Troublesome these youngster's..." Yue would say from too far a distance and in too quiet a breath for these genin to hear him. He performed another set of hand seals invoking the same jutsu as used before, though there would be no discerning what it had been form anyone here...only Yue knew what he was planning thus far. And so with the current dispute among who would lead, it would seem the eldest looking had chosen t brazenly triumph out into the woods, leaving the youngsters to follow. Yue squinted chastisingly from where he hid; this elder one was wiser but he also lacked the knowledge of how to formally organize those he wished to fall under his lead.

He was smart enough to know that action was needed, but he was too vague in telling the kids to just think on cue towards whatever befell the group. A true leader knows, that regardless of trying to take the reigns themselves; which is a self sustaining tactic to ensure and confide in ones own abilities above those of a group, that he should at least properly strategize his team mates as RESOURCES, should he think himself capable alone. In Yue's wisdom, this elder man had half a solution to the issue, but there was also the time factor of what an enemy would do whilst they chose to do things during their own time. It was made apparent by this elder of the genin that the enemy could also be making his own plans, AND it was common knowledge to think Yue was probably watching them where they knew not where he was.

Final analysis: There is hope for this team yet...

ooc: Basically a bunch of monologue. A jutsu that has not been declared has been used twice now by Yue. To help, he is hidden somewhere within at least 100 yard diameter of you guys standing in a clearing. My current mindset is one of like where...naruto and friends first trained as a team with kakashi...though no lake near by, and slightly more trees and shrubbery.I'll inquire to the team now, that should they hope to incorperate a dubbing of the team name, then I will invoke the title ic wise should the team or team leader agree to this. So like...if you want it to be an ic development where yer team recieves its team name by YUE then let me know...other wise ill disregard this idea.

Kaoru wasn't the type to be told what to do, and as much as she dislikes the fact that I am younger, yet higher than her; I felt that that was the soul reason why she detested me so much. As she stormed off toward the forest, I remain still, fighting my temper and the urge to yell at her to listen. Part of what she explained made sense, but backup is something that is important in a team, otherwise we would all be open to attack. Even Yue-sensei knew this, and would most likely target Kaoru due to her resentful behavior. As she stormed off, I suddenly turned toward the two boys. “I still suggest that you provide back up, even if we are all seen. Kaoru-senpai is right, with one of us being hidden they would be open. I will be the hidden one since I can fly. Hiroki-san, please watch over Shigure-san, and Shigure-san, you watch over our grumpy red haired please. And good luck to the pair of you!” I say, unsure if any of them would listen, this team lacked a strong leader and it will be our downfall, I had a strong feeling. But as I took to the sky, I decided to wait above the trees and strike should any ranged attacks occur upon my comrades. My position away from the group was roughly 15m above and 2m behind the last member of the group. The tallest trees were at least 3.2m below me as I carefully maneuvered around them. My gaze drops down toward the ground in hopes that my vision was not totally obscured by the branches, at first I will search the first 100 feet of forest before swooping down to inform my comrades of my news should any be found..

[Thunder Over the Falls]

Hiro watched and listened to all of them carefully. Kaoru was right. They could plan for the world but something would probably go wrong. When the older woman stormed off into the forest Hiro was going to attempt to stop her, though figured it would be no use. The plan that Shigure had listed off was sound…if they absolutely needed to signal Rosalie for anything. There was also that they could just use their forehead protector if they needed a reflective surface as well…though that was beside the point.

Shortly after Kaoru moved, Rosie started to talk. Hiroki agreed with her, hiding would most likely make the person a really big target. That wouldn’t do. While they spoke, he placed his bow back around his upper body and pulled a small scroll from his buttbag. He unfurled it only slightly, enough to reveal a symbol. He placed his hand on it and with a poof, pulled a knife into his hand. While each was talking he placed the scroll back into his bag.

“I’ll stay in the trees, but close by” he told them both, as they all were getting ready to move. Rosie darted into the sky and Hiro looked at Shigure for a moment with a grin. He nodded, getting more serious so he’d stay focused and turned. As he reached the treeline he jumped up, grabbing a branch with which he used to swing forward and flip up onto the limbs of the tree. He moved to follow Kaoru and hopefully his cousin, about 7m behind the woman while moving through the trees.
