Shigure listened to Kaoru's Rant about the mission and the three of them, but it didnt take his mind off of the Jounin and the mission itself. His sole comment about the ordeal would pierce his lips in a rather blunt way. "You don't speak... and when you do you speak down to us. I get the fact that I haven't had any battle training, and I understand your point, but talking to your teammates like they are stupid isn't going to get you anywhere... nor us." Shigure didnt care if Kaoru heard him or not, since she was storming into the woods as he spoke, but it didnt matter, he had said his peace.
Once Kaoru was starting into the wood, he heard the Godaime Speak. He was reassured of the mission by her, that would could still make this a success. He agreed to her terms, even though the boy didnt think he was going to be able to help Kaoru. If the moment came, he would try to do so. When Rosalie left, he issued a reply. "You too Rosie-sama."
After Rosie had taken her place as aerial support to the team, Shigure followed His cousin into the woods after Kaoru. His role in this mission was Ground support, and he would do as asked. He more than likely would have takent he spot anyways, as hes the best on the team to do so. Once he caught up to the older woman, he'd stay 3 meters behind her, allowing her the space she needs while keeping a direct eye on her. Looking behind him, he'd notice Hiroki up in one of the nearest trees, moving from branch to branch, and further up, he'd notice Rosie's form soaring above the trees.
For now he would do nothing but keep an eye on them. Taking this role seemed natural, and comfortable to him, almost like a parent watching over its children. Shigure noticed this and shook it off, since he didnt want to think about his family back in Hi no Kuni while trying to complete a mission.
