Puranto Ninpou: Haeru
Rank: "E"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: A basic technique of the Ikebana, where the user molds a certain type of chakra to feed it to the clan’s special seeds and make them sprout into flowers. With other techniques, the seeds can grow into different kinds of plants.
Drawback: ---
Special: “Hand Seals”
Description: This is the first clan technique for the members of Ikebana to learn, since it’s needed for many other techniques. The user spreads the needed amount of seeds in the desired area and uses then the hand seals to make the seeds sprout into flowers instantly – almost as soon as the seals have been formed the flowers are ready for use. The seeds will always respond to Haeru chakra, no matter where the seeds are when the technique is used: One bag of the Silene seeds can become a full-sized, flower filled meadow even in sand and snow, or while floating on water. The basic form of Haeru creates red, blue, white and yellow daisies, but by molding their chakra in a slightly different way, the user can also create other kinds of flowers.
Limit: Must be in the Ikebana Clan.

Early in the morning, before the sun even rose, Kei rolled out of bed. Yawning as he looked around Kei stretched his arms towards the ceiling. For a second the young genin just stood there and rubbed his eyes. Kei always felt dead the first couple minutes of the morning; it’s as if he is sleep walking. Feeling a little more lively, Kei slid open his door and headed down stairs. Only the hall way light was on, and the kitchen window looking over the back yard was open. Curious, the boy headed towards the window. A few steps away he heard a soft humming of a song.
Kei didn’t expect his mother to be up let alone gardening at this hour. She didn’t notice him until he walked out of the back door and greeted her, “Morning.” He said staring at her with a confused look. That look of confusion only grew more, well… confused when his mother asked him to help and tossed him a bag of Silne seeds. “I don’t know how to plant a flower mom…” Kei said slowly. His mom was amused by this remark, and Kei was just lost. “You put the seeds in the ground, do the following handseals,” She stopped talking and performed a quick short row of handseals. “Almost instantly flowers will grow in the place of seeds.”
Wanting to take this step by step Kei took five seeds out of the bag. The young genin got on his knees and dug the five seeds into the ground using his hands. He didn’t plant them very deep in the ground, but he figured they were deep enough. Truth be told he had no idea. Kei stood up back up straight and slowly mimicked the handseals his mother had shown him when she explained how to do it. She also told him the flowers will grow instantly, but this wasn’t the case for Kei. Unsure of what he did wrong he looked over at his mom, “What didn’t I do right” he asked as he rubbed the back of his head.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you, you have to channel a little bit of chakra through your feet into the ground so the seeds could absorb it. “Kei nodded after his mother finished giving him the missing info. It made sense. Hopefully he would get it right this time the boy closed his eyes and started to leak his chakra into the ground as he quickly performed the short row of handseals. When he opened his eyes, to his surprise five red shamrock looking flowers bloomed where he planted the seeds. A huge smile flashed across his flash, and he was simply amazed. “That’s pretty awesome!” He told his mom.
