The water was not calm; and the air was thick with fog.  It was not a safe day to be on this island in the mist; and yet this was where Jäger found himself today, and he could not be happier with his adventurous decision.  Having swam out in the water to cool down and have a nice relaxing swim by himself and maybe catch him some lunch.  Having been enjoying himself so much, he had not noticed the shallow waters that he crashed into, and he had decided that it was a pretty good time for him to take a break.  Now he sat upon a rock snacking on a rather large salmon he had snatched up from the lake nearby.  What a nice day to be a Hoshigaki.  The island rumbled, and a frown crossed the features of the fish as he looked around to find the source, but to no avail.  

The rumbling was over as quickly as it had come, and the island was silent again.  It occurred to him that he had not seen any animals or birds on the island, and how it lacked any real vegetation other than moss and small bushes on its mountainous land.  This was a curious island.  Jäger liked it.

Kochou had scarcely left the village when he was struck by the thickness of the fog, though something was up with this fog as one moment he was on the ground and the next he was walking upon rough seas in the middle of no where. The waves were rough flying above his red hair and almsot washed off the black eye patch and green cloth his rain headband was on. His outfit was the basic black tight tshirt and the over clothes whilst on his back a large keg full of iron sand was carried and underneath his water tight eye patch his ursthrome ritual was intact. Out the corner of his eye he noticed a rahter odd island but in this weather he wasn't taking any chances and he would begin his sprint to the island with a leap at the end causing him to land with a bit more force that he wanted causing him to hurt his ankle a little.

He didn't know if anyone was around or if anyone was friendly but in a place like this he knew being alone would be dangerous. HELLLO, ANYONE OUT THERE He called out at the top of his voice.

A small piece of paper stuck out from a small bush nearby; and the Hoshigaki pulled it from its place in the foliage.  A gift voucher for a free laboratory?  That was an incredible find, what luck!  Just as he was getting excited about his new prize, a voice called out that distracted him from it.  It did not sound aggressive, simply confused, and Jäger could not stand by and let someone be on their own out here in the thick fog.  Getting to his feet, he hurried over to where the voice was coming from.  As he moved through the fog, the person was revealed to him not too far from his location, a small man with longer red hair.  Well, perhaps he was not small, but compared to the massive stature of the Hoshigaki, he seemed quite tiny.  As he carefully made his way between the boulders that littered the ground of the small island, he stood atop one particularly large one and called out back, as the man was about thirty to forty meters away.

"Hello!  It's nice to see another friendly face!"

Kochou staggered to his feet unable to put too much weight on his right foot when out of the mist a demonic figure appeared.. a goat... but a demonic goat. With a quick flash of hand seals iron sand arose from his keg becoming several different tetraplates which would go and attack the demonic goat before him. Once the attack as complete the iron sand would return and land within his keg once more.

"Hello! It's nice to see another friendly face!"

Turning when he heard the voice Kochou saw a giant of a man..shark...hybrid... Hello there, Any idea where we are? I had just left the hidden rain village when I was caught up in this fog and appeared just off of the island...

Jäger chuckled at the fact that he had found another of his fellow Amegakure ninja, one of whom had gotten lost in the fog.  The behemoth waved and began to make his way over to the smaller man when the earth began to shake.  Once more the island rumbled and the water around the island splashed violently, spitting water everywhere and almost sending the large fishman from his feet and to the boulder.  His shocked face said it all, and as he steadied himself, he looked over to the side and saw a leatherbound book sitting on one of the larger rocks.  How unusual.  Picking up the book, he slipped it into his robe and next to the gift voucher.  

"I'm not quite sure where we are, but this island has been quite shaky all day. I'm investigating it for a little bit of fun"

The person he had encountered seemed nice enough, and it was then he realized he had forgotten to introduce himself.

"Oh!  My name is Jäger, it is a pleasure to meet you"

From where the goat had been destroyed a sack of 10,000 ryo floated towards him and landed neatly on his lap. That was odd.... Turning his head towards the fish man who had now been thrown into a boulder Kochou noticed some goggle sat in a buash, using his iron sand he called them towards him and put them on thinking they would protect his eye a bit better. Pleasure to meet you, I'm Kochou Aburame...

Description: Sting grenades are based on the design of the fragmentation grenade. Instead of using a metal casing to produce shrapnel, they are made using two spheres of hard rubber. Something shifted inside the pocket that the Grimoire tome had been put in, and the fishman reached a hand into his robe and pulled the corner of a book out.  A comic?  Hidden in a mystic tome.  Strange.  It would be something entertaining to read  though.  Letting it slide back into his robe, he smiled at the Aburame gentleman who was trying to find his way home.  Pointing out over the lake, he gestured to the east.

"If you wanted to head back to the village, it's that way, but I'm having fun out here, something is off about this island"

He turned and began to climb up the mountainous island, stepping over large rocks and cracks, investigating the foliage that resided on the island, trying to figure out why this place was so unusual.  The rumbling was ever present now, but it was barely a tremor, and it was constant as opposed to the violent bucking that had occurred previously.  What was going on in this lake.

With the goggles on Kochou looked round a lot easier at the oddness of the island. The island around here is odd there is no denying that. Using his iron sand Kochou covered his legs and began to hover off the ground a little to allow him to float after the hulk of a man. I am curious about it and as long as you know how to get back to the village im sure there will be no harm in looking around... As they travelled around Kochou'#s eyes spotted a rather odd thing on the ground, sending his iron sand out to dig it out it turned out to be a grenade... quickly he smothered it with his sand but when it didn't go off he just put it in his pocket.

Another book was hidden beneath the rocks of the island and Jäger eagerly snatched it up; his library was gaining in size every day, but this day was particularly fortuitous.  The small man was floating behind him, but with all the oddities in the world, he could hardly be surprised that people could float around, but he was curious as to how it worked.  Sitting on the same rock he found the book on and he harrumphed as his entire weight settled on his frame.  

"I'm curious as to your abilities; this substance you can control, I've never seen anything like it.  I came to study the island and any oddities that I could find, and it appears I find an oddity with an ally!  As for the village, I'm sure it won't be going anywhere"

The behemoth chuckled at his own humour; the deep guttural laugh of his resonating across the barren mountain island; the bass of it resonating with the deep rumbling.  No matter how odd his new companion, what was his name, Kouchi?  No, Kochou.  No matter how odd Kochou happened to be, the island was infinitely more curious, and he was eager to learn more about it.

I am a weilder of the iron sand my rather large fellow... I don't normally use it to travel but I hurt my ankle arriving on the island so this is just making it easier... Kochou watched as the large man sat on the rock before another man joined them... this one offering him a rather odd ritual, one that would grant him the ability to manipulate time to a degree, shrugging he accepted the terms and paid the man the cheapened price to receive the ritual upon his body. After 5 or so minutes it was done and the man would depart as if it were nothing... that was odd....anyway, tell me about your abilities big guy, i told you about my blood line

Description: "D" Rank, "C" Rank. A box type of creation generally made out of wood that allows the storage of bodies of any kind. Boxes are made custom for every person its tailored for, however a general size can be previously purchased. The "D" Rank version is nothing but wood and hindes as well as a few nails; the most simple of coffins. The "C" Rank however, is much more comfortable and looks far more professional then its predacessor. The wood is hard pressed and polished nicely and has a fine finish to it. On the inside, there is a smooth coat of white linen cloth and cotton. In this version, its customary to have a pillow for the host.

The redheaded man explained his abilities; iron sand.  What an odd thing, and the ability to manipulate it seemed like a very useful power; one he would never be able to access regrettably.  Luckily Jäger was not the kind of person to dwell on things he could not do; so he would instead choose to enjoy the abilities through Kochou.  Their brief chat was disturbed by a man who arrived from seemingly thin air to aid his companion.  While whatever was happening there happened, the Hoshigaki checked around the area and found yet another book, and he was simply delighted.  Was this some sort of library floating in  the middle of a lake?  It seemed improbable; but given the mysterious circumstances surrounding the area and the items they were finding, it could be the truth.  Another rumble.  Another mystery of the island, one that he suspected may have been volcanic activity; but the evidence seemed too far-fetched for that to be true.  Kochou had broken his conversation with the other man and was back with the behemoth.

"Well, I am an Akimichi"

He patted his belly as he smiled and continued. 

"However, as a child, I underwent the Ritual of the Shark that creates a Shark and Human hybrid; my shark happens to be the Whale Shark, a heavy and powerful beast!"

I can't say I have ever met someone who has undergone that ritual, I have met an akimichi or two though and I must say they are very useful in a tight spot. From the sky a large wooden coffin would fall and as he noticed it his iron sand would fly up out of the keg and wrap around it catching it before it crushed him. I do have one other ability, i was making the best of a bad situation when my family and I escaped slavery..

Looking down it would be clear to anyone that he had some loss and issues about the tie before arriving at the village...I lost my right eye as we escaped and upon arriving at the village my foster family saved my eye and placed a ritual and seal upon my eye to help protect me. I can now summon a surrogate eye or place the eye of someone who has died and view up to three hours into the past before they died. With mroe training I can even summon a clone of the personbut I'm not that strong yet.

Jäger did not like the thought of having a fake eye; to him it seemed a little uncomfortable, but the redhead seemed fine, and even looked forward to the new capabilities it would grant him, even if they seemed necrotic. The fact that he had escaped slavery made the great Hoshigaki sympathize though, they had similar pasts, but they seemed to have reacted to it quite differently. A coffin fell from the sky and struck the ground, firing a book out as it landed which hit the behemoth in the face. Grumbling he looked at it and instantly felt a little better about it. Amazing. The island rumbled harder than ever and his eyes widened.
