Today was a bright and sunny day. Something to compliment the current mood. Bright and sunny. The surroundings are rather brown considering the country, yet there are greens and brightly coloured flowers. I stand on a dirt path surrounded by flowers and brush alike. My long ice blonde hair was tied back into a high ponytail which cascaded down to my mid back, blowing in the soft autumn breeze. My defined features consisted of porcelain white skin, a small black rhombus that sat in the centre of my forehead, wide deep amber eyes and full lips coated with a fire engine red lipstick

I did have two studs in both my ears, but the bangs of my hair covered them. Today was such a glorious day, the sun was high up in the baby blue sky, birds were singing. Something good was about to happen, I could feel it. Today, I was dressed in a bright purple steampunk corset and black jeans. My footwear consisted of knee high black stiletto boots with a four inch heel. One can say I was dressed to kill; perhaps they were right, I was a walking tank anyway. I had two medium sized scrolls on my person, alongside a large Tessen Fan, strapped to my back while Dusk, my faithful Black Panther was out in the forest hunting prey.

My butt bag remained strapped around my waist, the actual bag sitting upon my right buttock cheek. The bag housed four Frag Grenades, two Ice Grenades, fifteen Blood Clot Pills, six Kunai and a Map of the Known World. I also wore a chest rig which was a knife harness filled with ten kunai knives which sat upon my purple corset, and a dark mauve cloak consisting of another ten kunai which fluttered around my body like the cape it was. My eyes scanned the area thoughtfully, wondering just where Dusk had run off to and if I was going to meet anyone along the way…

Zeki, having landed a ways back and proceeded to walk the rest of the way, came up on sight of a oddly dressed woman standing in the middle of the road. The Sadojin briefly wondered why someone would be out on a road in the middle of nowhere. The thought was quickly replaced by the amount of weaponry that was on her figure, which put the Sadojin on guard. Still the day was quite sunny and that put Zeki in a very good, full mood.

"Hello there! May I ask what you are looking for out this far in the forest?!" He yells out at her in a good-natured tone, as he was far away that yelling was about the only verbal way of communicating with her but close enough that he could see was searching the forest for something. Another reason for the yelling at such a distant was to not startle the other person, as someone with that many weapons on their person may unleash a armory's worth of weapons if startled. And while Zeki did not have much interest in his casual appearance, he did not want to look like a humanoid porcupine.

And Zeki was in his casual appearance for the walk, to better catch the sun's rays. The cloak was opened and mostly shoved to his back while the plain mask he wore was pushed to the side so his face was revealed. A dark-tan shirt was under the cloak and he wore loose pants of the same color. His footwear were comfortable looking boots that were a dark brown color. Strapped to his back was his winged mechanical device.

A combat umbrella that has been used for a bludgeoning/piercing attack can do extra damage by opening up, causing +2 Armour Points Extra damage of Bludgeoning/Piercing at once. Metal Umbrellas are treated as have the same length as a Light Shield. A Small Oil Umbrella can hold up to 10 slots of senbon.

Dusk had not yet returned from her hunt. But at the sound of a voice calling from my far left, I turn my head casually to see a young man approaching me wearing some odd contraption on his back. He briefly asked me what I was looking for, had he not seen my companion. I smile toward his approach, turning to face him as I did so. “I am waiting for my friend to return from her hunt.” I reply softly. I could not see if he was a shinobi or not but he looked casual enough.

Although I was armed to the teeth, I didn’t see anything threatening about this guy. He looked barely twenty and wore clothing as if he doesn’t fuss over his appearance. I on the other hand, would die if I didn’t keep up with appearances. “What is your name?” I ask then, narrowing my eyes slightly. Suddenly a large object the size of a staff or spear shot out from the forest where Dusk was hunting and landed directly in front of me. A small note attached to it read “a gift from me to you…” in dark red script.

Bewildered, I move forward, picking up the large weapon with one hand as if it weighed nothing more than a feather and twirled it around. Interesting. I then turn to face the young man to see if he knew anything about it.

Zeki watched the other shinobi turn towards him and told the reason she was staying still on the path. He found it strange that her friend was on a hunt but he put it down in the back of his mind to be on guard for other, surprise guests. At least surprise guests for him.

He was close enough to the other to see her eyes narrow a bit when she asked for his name. That came to no surprise to Zeki really, if anything he was surprised she did not react more...actively to his greetings. He was about to reply when something up above him caught his eye. He looked upward so quickly that he would have gotten whiplash if he actually had bones or muscles to see a object falling quickly...right at him. He took a step back as a long pole impacted into the ground where he was a second ago.

He examines the pole, seeing it was attached to some type of cloth before realizing it was a umbrella. Even if it was a small one. He reaches his hand out and grasps the pole, yanking it from the ground as he turns his attention back to the strangely dressed Shinobi. "My name is Zeki. Yours?" He asks as he opens the umbrella up.

An umbrella fell to the ground right where he had been standing. I look skyward, wondering what the hell had just happened and where the object had just come from. Dusk had still not returned from her hunt, but perhaps she may have seen the Polearm flying through the woods, it did come from her direction after all. Zeki was the young man’s name. I turn my full attention back to him and bow respectfully. “My name is Aurora. And that is a lovely umbrella you have there.” I said softly, smiling while twirling the polearm I currently held.

I glance down to the path between Zeki and myself and spot a pair of Binoculars laying there. Curiously, I knell down to pick up the object and smiled up at the young man before me. “I would introduce you to Dusk, but I am afraid that she has not returned yet. Would you like to accompany me in our search?” I then ask, realizing that Dusk should have returned by now. The panther does not take long to devour her meal. I only hoped that she was not asleep in a tree somewhere, her black coat would be incredibly hard to spot in a forest this dark.

Zeki noticed that Aurora was holding a polearm of some sorts as she introduced herself. "Your name has meaning though. From that and your outfit, I suspect you might actually be a bright individual." He replies with a smile. That was when he noticed that Aurora found a strange device laying on the ground in front of her, which he recognized as a pair of binoculars. How strange. "And I can spare the time to help on your search. I need to work off some of the food I just had." He add after she asked, briefly wondering whom Dusk was. Perhaps the opposite of the Aurora, a dark and broody personality who dressed in darker color clothes perhaps?

He starts walking forwards, intending to follow Aurora in her hunt, when something taped to the bottom of the umbrella's canvas catches his eye. He reaches up and grabs ahold of it, carefully removing the tape that held it in place. As he brings the object away from the umbrella, he sees that it was a fan of some sort. He opens it up and sees the metal running through the frame. "Ah, so it is made for combat. How strange..." He mumbles as he begins to fan the air with it as he resumes his walk towards Aurora. Today was starting to turn a little strange.

Was Zeki’s reply something of a compliment? I raise my gaze from his mouth to meet his eyes to see that he seemed genuine. “Why thank you, I do try to be as bright as my clothing. Although there are people around here who do make such a feat difficult.” I said softly, gazing back toward the direction of the village gates. Although they were not exactly in view, they were indeed close by. Just as we both began to head off to locate Dusk, something hard slammed into the back of my head.

The force of it send me reeling forward, stumbling to gather my footing. The object fell to the ground at my heels, glistening once sunlight hit it. “Ouch!” I exclaim, rubbing the back of my head beneath my high ponytail. That really did hurt. But I lower myself down into a crouch and picked up the object. It was a crystal ball like the type that a fortune teller would use. Turning it over in my hands, I stare into the clear crystal and bring it up to eye level. “This day is extremely strange..”

The Binoculars were sitting in my butt bag, but I exchange the Crystal Ball for them instead. Peering into them, I gaze deep into the forest in hopes of spotting Dusk’s long lean body. “Now, please inform me straight away if you see anything that is black and very swift in movement.” I tell Zeki, shifting my gaze from the forest to the young man while still holding the binoculars at eye level, the lens pointing toward the forest. “Dusk is my companion and friend, so when you see her please do not be frightened. She will not harm you.” I say softly, shooting the boy an encouraging smile.

Zeki felt sympathy for Aurora for he too knew people that caused him to react in a less than...civil manner. Mainly they were people who blew him up with paper bombs or sent him to the Country of Rain to die, but there were a few exceptions. And now he had a umbrella, so now he had less reason to fear Rain.

A streak of light caught his attention as he was about to reply to Aurora and as he turned to look at fully he noticed that he was a crystal ball of some sorts. A crystal ball that was resting on the ground after impacting on the back of Aurora's head. He grimaces, more out of reflex than empathy, and is about to ask if she was ok when something even stranger happened to him: A man appeared out of nowhere in front of him and said he would cut him a half-priced deal.

"I..I...no...just...sorry, I do not want any newspapers. I already have a subscription for Stoner's Monthly." The Sadojin says in a clearly rehearsed, mechanical voice as he sidesteps the man to continue on their hunt. He lived in a sand pit for crying out loud but these salesmen always manage to find him. Though he had to give this one some props on the fact that he managed to hunt Zeki down so far from the village.

He manages to get away from the man and return his focus back to Aurora right as she was speaking more about Dusk, her friend and partner. "Hmm, is that so? Alright, though I fear in a forest this will be hard to do. The shadows in the trees play tricks on the eyes. I will be on the look out though." He replied, as he reconstructed his mental image of Dusk. She wears black or dark clothing, is agile which means a slim body built for speed, and probably has a good amount of weaponry strapped to her also for her to appear so threatening. "Sounds like the two of you know each other quite well." He says, making some small talk.

Description: Silverthorn is a small thorny plant, white in color with red berries and silver thorns. Called Aelebera by the Hyuuga, this herb can function either as a poison or as an antidote to itself. It is found only by one lake located high in the mountains. For use as a poison the thorns must be crushed and boiled in oil over the course of a night, at which point, the resultant mixture may be smeared on the end of a weapon. When the weapon pierces its target, the poison will take effect killing the victim within 8 hours. There is no cure, except for the antidote outlined below. The only cure for this poison, is also made from the Silverthorn plant. The berries must be boiled in Absolute pure water, contained in a pure silver vessel, and the resultant mixture stored in a vial of absolutely pure glass until use. The liquid must be placed on the dying victims lips, where within 1/2 an hour, they will recover from the poisoning. Herb consists 4 doses.

Before we ventured off into the woods, a man appeared seemingly out of nowhere and confronted Zeki with a deal hardly anyone would refuse. But to my astonishment, Zeki refused the man’s offer. I half turn to face the boy as he scurried past the dealer as if he was used to seeing such people. But as Zeki spoke about Dusk, I suddenly got the impression that he thought my companion was a human.

A bright smile curled my blood red lips as I turn my head in his general direction. “She’s six feet long and is almost thirty inches tall, so once you spot her, she will not be difficult to miss.” I said, a hint of laughter in my voice. But something told me Zeki was not the type of person to be joked with, so I add an additional thing: “You see, Dusk is a Melanistic Jaguar.” I explain, turning back to peer into the binoculars I had just acquired.

But as I take another step, something below my boot made a cracking noise as if it were glass. Startled, I raise my foot and glance down to see not one, but sixteen fifty mill vials laying directly in front of me just beside what looked like an herb of some kind. Knelling down I place the binoculars on the ground and picked up each vial carefully before putting them into my butt bag, confused as to how they got there. But as Zeki spoke about wither Dusk and I knew each other well, I paused.

“Actually, Dusk and I have been together since she was a kitten. When I was a genin, I was out on an herb gathering mission with a few medics from Iwagakure and we came across a small family of Jaguars. Unfortunately the mother ran off with three of her kittens and had somehow left one behind.” I explain, pulling a knife out of my chest rig and cutting the herb from the ground below. “Dusk looked only a few weeks old and was still highly dependent on her mother. She was blind as well as all kittens are for their first few months. She was sure to die if I didn’t save her. So I hid her in my bag and bought her back to the village.”

I slip the herb into my butt bag and put the knife back into my rig. I then picked up the binocular and rose from my crouching position.

"Ah, I see. It is good that you took the time to care for her. I dislike lives going to waste, especially ones that have been abandoned." He responds to her absent-mindedly, preoccupied with completely restructuring the mental image of Dusk that he had in his head. Looking back on her description, he could see that she had not meant to misled him and that it was a misunderstanding. It was a pain to switch mental images of someone so drastically, especially when it went from a human to a large cat.

As he watched her work on the herb situation, he felt some of the sand that made up his right shoulder give away. Turning to look at the cause he finds a strange device stuck to his shoulder and from what he could feel it was somehow stabbing him with a small needle of some sort. He detaches it from his shoulder without much trouble and begins to examine the device. He spots a small slip of paper that was glued on the front side of the device that read "Nightlock".

"Huh. Today is really strange. Shall we continue the search before even weirder stuff somehow happens?" Zeki comments as he replaces the device back on his shoulder, having no other place to really carry it.

The Kamyuja clicked her tongue at her surroundings, the sun still high in the sky, and the warmth basking the earth. There were waves swimming before her very eyes in a great distance from her. The heat wave intense as it covered the area and moving relatively slowly. She felt as though she was melting. On the road she had travelled through Rain, and got drenched, but now she was toasting, and fuming. Why did it have to be so bloody hot?

The female was dressed in clothes suited for a funeral: Black corset mini-dress clung to her like second skin, fishnet stockings, and to end it all she wore her signature combat boots. Before arriving at this shit hole of nothing but … Earth … she had worn a vintage midnight coloured lace veil that have draped over her pale face, and it had gracefully shrouded her black lipstick and eye shadow. But now that veil was gone, and her hair probably looked chaotic from the constant weather change. Her eye make-up has most likely run down her cheeks, and her lipstick might have faded over time. She looked like a mess, but that was the least of her problems. When she left her home, she forgot to pack weapons – not that she needed any, but felt naked without them anyway. This was a disaster!

Amara was wary of this situation, and she had every right to be, considering her luck so far. Once good always turns bad, and why shouldn’t it? She was a stranger in a strange land. And as far as she knew, she was alone. She really did not know what the hell was going on now, everything was wrong, nothing made sense, and the longer she hung around this place, the more she felt like she was going to get killed. She was in the open. She clenched her fists and nodded to herself, reassuring herself, and kept her mouth firmly shut from speaking against the heat, a bit of sweat running from her forehead. What was going to happen now?

At least Zeki understood my intentions for saving Dusk when I had. Originally when I had returned to the village with her in tow, the other medical ninja were appalled by the fact that I had a wild animal in my care. “That animal could have rabies! Get rid of it!” Some medics cried out. Considering they were medics, they were more than willing to allow the defenceless kitten to die in the wild. “You would be amazed at what the medics said when they found out we came back with an extra number.” I said a little harshly, shooting Zeki a neutral look.

However, as something had caught his attention, I suddenly heard rustling in the distance to my right. My head snapped in that direction, followed by the binoculars. But when I expected to see a black cat in my line of vision, I saw a large white goat charging toward us. Immediately I went into action, removing two knives from my chest rig and flicking my wrist sharply. The blade shot through the air at such a speed that spotting it would be incredibly difficult although my aim was meant directly for the goat’s forehead.

Should one kunai strike the forehead of the beast, the second kunai was aimed directly toward the jugular vein on the goat’s neck so if the knife to the head didn’t kill the beast, the knife to the throat surely will within a matter of seconds. “You are right there, Zeki this day is very strange.” I said in reply to Zeki’s last remark. However, as I continued to move forward, a black shadow crossed from the corner of my eye. Its movements slick and graceful as a large cat trailed down the trunk of a nearby tree.

Landing on cushioned paws, Dusk shot across the forest floor, heading in the direction where both Zeki and I had just come from. “Zeki, this way!” I suddenly call out to the young man, turning around as I did so. Dusk was much faster than I was, but should no other goats or objects fly out at me from random, unseen places, I should be able to catch up to my jaguar before she launched herself upon the prey she had spotted from behind (Sita).

Defensive Throw [10][10][60]

Skill: TaiJutsu/Supplementary
Effect: A technique in which if the user has his sights set on a target ready to attack, the senses of the Throwing Specialist is so in tuned with his surroundings the user is unable to be flanked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Throwing Specialist is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a Throwing Specialist.

As Aurora combated that goat easily enough, Zeki was busy standing stock still in the middle of a sudden kunai storm. As the storm abated he glanced down at all the discarded kunai before looking at those that may want to reclaim their lost property. Not seeing any, the Sadojin deftly picks up the unclaimed weapons for later use. Free weapons were free weapons.

"Excuses. That is the answer most give when they don't want to deal with something. Probabilities, what ifs, and should not's are the standard in my experience." Zeki comments after he had gathered the kunai. The next second all conversation was cut off though as Aurora called out to him to follow, taking off towards the road that they had just left. He briefly thought this direction was strange but came to the realization that the panther could probably get pasted them without much trouble in the forest.

"Perhaps Dusk found some interesting prey back this way?" Zeki tells Aurora in a voice loud enough to reach her, considering that both of them were charging back towards the road.

[Celaena Kamyuja]

This was new. She was delusional. She thought that the path she had taken was simply a dry Earth wasteland with patches of rocks here and there where little to no more than a few weeds left out baking in the sun struggling to survive. She saw them now, those weeds, naturally green but due to the sun and hardly any rain, they have turned brown and blended expertly with the Earth. There was no water anywhere. This was truly a wasteland.

So this is the Land of Earth? With monstrous outcrops of stone jutting out of the otherwise dormant horizon. No not simply stone. She could see something colourful swimming before her eyes at some distance from her but she could not make out what. Did it matter? Suddenly with a clear head, she continued her trek, her legs weary from the continuing hike, and her mood darkening with every step.

How long had it been since she had entered the country? It certainly could not have been too long, only recently the forests had begun to thin, no not thin, that was what she could see before her. Greenery. That and the fact that the earth had become less soft with soil, and the rocks embedded had begun to grow in size. But the forest, surely she hadn’t see that there before? It’s only this blasted heat!

But no, there was indeed a forest before her. Possibly 50 feet before her and getting closer fast. Shade. Glorious shade. Water? Her pace quickened as well as her heartbeat. There was something to live for now, and the sun won’t kill her after all. She laughed childishly, swaying unsteadily before tripping on her own two feet and ended up meeting the ground hard.

“Whatdahfuck?”

The Kamyuja said, her words tumbling from her mouth in a rush of barely distinguishable syllables. The world around her was spinning, but that wasn’t what made her trip, and it wasn’t her combat boots either. Slowly, hesitantly, she struggled to sit up and as soon as the nauseated feeling subsided did she then see something lying beside her.

"H-h-h-heeeeey! Whaaaaa d’ya have heeeeer’?"

The female slurred, jabbing a finger at the object, daring it to move. Slowly, lazily she picked it up and studied it. Shrugging her shoulders she held it up against her ear. Nope, not a clock. She then held it up before her eyes and stared though blurry lens. She activated it somehow and suddenly stumbled to her feet in shock, Adrenaline making everything possible. She blinked her eyes, once, twice, but now she was seeing perfectly. There was a bloody big cat running toward her!

“Heeeeer kity kity. I can see you.”

The readings from the device held up against her eyes read that the heartbeat raced at 200-250 beats per minute. Huh? And the status of its condition…
The black cat was moving too fast for her liking, and it was approaching her. Lowering her arms, her right hand holding the device did she then braced herself for an attack. Just like Toska had. She thought miserably.

Description: A powerful crushing grip that wraps around an opponents limbs or even objects to crush within there hands. Kamyuja’s strength are superior to those of a normal human being, because of this physical advantage they are capable of using this technique. This constricting technique can be used as a powerful chokehold on an opponent, when grappled by the throat with this technique it is nearly impossible for the user to break the hold. The hand then becomes locked in place as the muscles tighten slowly contracting around the enemy’s throat which will cause them to gasp for air, if the Kamyuja member wishes they are able of crushing the opponents throat killing them instantly, but in order to do such a feat it will take the user two turns in order to full crush the enemy’s throat. If the user does not wish to kill the opponent they may simply choke the opponent into unconsciousness. This strong crushing grip can also be used in crushing the bones of the opponent, but in order to do that there hand must be able to wrap around the opponents limb in order to crush it. There is however ways of escape this technique, if caught in a chokehold by a Kamyuja the only way to escape is to either brake the Kamyuja’s strength or strike them hard enough in the head they nearly suffer a concussion from it. If a Kamyuja member however dies when they have someone in there clutches it becomes nearly impossible for the victim to escape, due to the fact the body’s muscle lock in place causing the grip to become nearly unbreakable. There option now is to either die a slow death of lack of oxygen or amputate the Kamyuja’s hand or there own to escape there grip.
