Room 19
Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha), Sumire Violet, Lava Beneath the Falls, maasaa, Natsy

The five participants found themselves scattered across a dim room. Rigid walls surrounded them. It appeared to be a cavern room, except the walls resembled some type of shiny jade. The room itself was a bit curved, but more or less straight. It was much like a bloated oval.

All the participants no longer had any of their equipment. They still had on their clothes, but they had no weapons of gadgets. Not even any piece of paper was spared from theft.

The room was about 12 meters along the furthest length. Doors were found roughly at the two ends of that length. The room was generally under 7 meters wide, and there was a little curve that wasn't very noticeable. If any of the participants had something to reference for directions, they'd know the doors were to the North and South.

The North Door looked like a perfectly normal oak door. The only thing out of place was the pair of boots that were placed directly in front of the door. The toes of the boots faced the door.

The South Door had some type of huge smiling face upon it. It resembled a terrifying clown, and had a flower for a door knob.

One final feature remained, which might stand out more than the doors and the boots. There was a huge sleeping dragon in the very middle of the room. Its scales were a sparkling emerald sheen. The dragon took a four meter diameter space all on its own, so it blocked most of the central passageway. Its resting head looked Eastward.

Everyone woke up facing the dragon.

The Takikage was on the North side. She was two meters away from the North door, and two meters away from the dragon. Maasaa was a meter and a half to the Takikage's left, right next to the East wall.

Phyre laid against the West wall on the South side. She was three meters away from the dragon, and one meter away from the South Door. Hitora and Yosei were together, practically right next to the dragon's head. They were one meter East of the dragon, and nearly six meters away from both doors.

All the participants woke up simultaneously. As they woke, they heard a voice coming from a intercom that was nowhere to be seen.

"Welcome Examinees, let's play a game. As you have noticed you are somewhere not familiar to you. Your exams start now. You have one test, and one test only. Escape. If you cannot escape you have failed the exams. You can use whatever skill, and whatever item to your disposal. We will be waiting for you at the entrance."

Thankfully, this loud voice didn't make the dragon move a single centimeter.

[maasaa]

Maasaa awoke with a small groan his sleep despite the chair set up hadn’t been the best. His eyes opened to a startling sight. A sleeping dragon’s head was directly facing where he sat. Looking around it seemed everyone else was awake or waking up just as he was this was certainly different than what he’d expected. Listening to the voice on the intercom he began to get a bit nervous escape sounded simple but he didn’t even have a clue where he was. Any item was at their disposal but he then realized he had no items; everything he’d brought in preparation…great.

Maasaa stayed seated in worry of waking up the dragon though the voice didn’t seem to have any effect on it. Looking all around the room he noted the others in the room, five people and one dragon. There were also two doors in the room one to the left and one to the right. On the right the door seemed normal but also had boots facing it for some reason. To his left was a strange door with a weird face and a flower for a knob how odd.

Rather than waking up the dragon Maasaa slowly slid up the wall putting his back to it. From the situation he was in he figured a few things. He could try to work with the others and hopefully survive together or wake up the dragon and hope it worked as way of getting rid of the others but also didn’t decide to do the same to him. It certainly seemed safer to keep the dragon asleep right now. A lack of experience with such animals kept him wary of interacting with it. Instead Maasaa shot a small amount of chakra into his eyes changing their color to red. Two tomoe’s appeared as he rescanned over the room. Would he find anything different to uncover? Maasaa wanted to hear from the others but his eyes would certainly help to see any chakra and potentially the nature of the chakra in the room. There was a mix of nervousness and his natural shyness that kept Maasaa quiet for now.

Description: Allows the user to see the chakra levels of a live body. Activates automatically with the Sharingan (写輪眼 "Copy Wheel Eye,") 2nd Tomoe. This technique allows to see others if they are under the influence of GenJutsu. This technique also helps predict 1 movement per opponent.

Effect: User is capable of seeing an opponent's chakra nature as it exerts out of the human body. Allows the user to see the Chakra Nature Element just as it is released.

Drawback: Must learn multiple times to see different types of Elemental Natures. Only shows Elemental Nature as opponent performs a technique. Cannot see advanced Releases.
Description: A Passive Technique that activates automatically with the Sharingan Eye. There are 5 basic releases found within the Release complexity. These are Doton no Jutsu (Earth Release Skill), Fuuton no Jutsu (Wind Release Skill), Katon no Jutsu (Fire Release Skill), Suiton no Jutsu (Water Release Skill), and Raiton no Jutsu (Lightning Release Skill). Each time user learns this technique they are able to see the elemental Nature of an element. This technique does not help with non elemental nature techniques. In order to master this technique the user must go into this technique at a total of 5 times.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Groaning slightly the young man opened his eyes, thankfully the room was dim in its lighting. However that was the only good thing about everything that had transpired since he awoke. First he would notice that his belt, which was now empty as he felt it and noticed no resistance, then he noticed that the clubs on his right leg were gone. He groaned again, knowing he spent a large amount of money on the items and weapons inside the belt.

Then he heard the speakers kick on, the voice, it was strange he couldn’t quite place it but it was not one he could remember hearing before. It explained the situation to a degree Grand, this is some game to those in charge, when I get out of here I’m going to kill them, I swear to whatever being watches over us….

Hitora then looked to his side, and saw the strange being seated next to him, though on the floor, slightly confused he would look around to see if anyone else was in the room. It was then that he saw the real threat, not the others in the room, not even the room itself…

A FUCKING DRAGON!

Why was there a dragon in the room? Looking at it closely, he noticed it was a green color, though the lighting in the room made it hard to discern much else other than he was looking right at its sleeping face. His eyes were wide, but they were hidden behind the mask on his face. Holding his breath so that he wouldn’t scream at the top of his lungs Hitora slowly calmed himself down and slowly stood up from the chair.

Hitora then looked to the doors that were on either side of the room several times and noticed what they were he also knew that most likely the dragon would awaken should he have attempted to do just about anything. He then looked at the others in the room, and knew that he was definitely separated from Jasmine and that he had no clue who the others were…

[Lava Beneath the Falls]

Phyre would lay unconscious on the floor for a bit on the south side about a foot from some creepy looking door. She winced closing her eyes more as she begun to come to. A low moan came from her mouth as she slowly rose, rubbing her head slowly. As she did so, there was a creepy announcement, 'Lets play a game.' and the goal was to escape. 'Ugh what the hell?' she thought. As she slowly rose up with her back sliding up the wall behind her. She reached for her sais, only to find after patting around her legs, they weren't there. Neither was her katana or any of her equipment for that matter. She wanted to scream to high heaven, and kill well maybe just hunt the jerks down and beat the crap out of them, for taking her stuff. Specially her sais, those weapons were her prize possession and an extension of her soul if there was such a thing. She was about to scream 'What the fuck!' but just as she went to open her mouth she caught notice to something big in the middle of the room....She bit down on her lip hard to keep herself from her screaming rant from the missing weapons. Nearly drawing blood, for how much she wanted to exact revenge.

Phy's eyes went wide as she took notice to a tail....being that the room was dimly lit it was hard to fully make out detail...but Phyre was one to have been read fairy tale stories before. 'Yea....ok...this dream is really messed up right now...' she thought thinking maybe she was still out of it and hadn't woken up just yet. She could make out that maybe she wasn't the only contestent in the room too, only she couldn't make out just who she got paired with. Rosie was on the other side of the room, and Phy wouldn't be able to see that far at the moment due to the dragon and poor lightning conditions. She really only saw shadows with a faint color to them. 'Escape eh? I can do that...' she thought once more looking around, only to notice the door that was basically right next to her.

However she couldn't see the other door with the boots in front of it. Upon looking at the clown faced smile door, she contemplated whether it be a good idea to open it. 'It could be a trap...and it could wake this guy up...though he didn't seemed bother when that creepy guy said he wanted to play a game...' she thought. She wanted to find her team and her weapons and get the hell out, and emerge a chunnin. That's all she wanted, but she had to play smart it seemed on this one...one false move could mean the end. And if any one of the people in this room were from her village she would want to keep them safe above all else. She thought of all the techniques she had learned since the last exams...she did have more, and some did deal with abilities of movement. For now she stayed standing up, watching the dragon sleep, and contemplating her motives. She wanted to see who would be the dumb one to actually wake him up.

'They said escape...and that is just what I will do...then hunt down my weapons, along with my comrades.' she thought as she kept quiet like she usually did, but her eyes looked like a flame was brewing within them. The froth of the falls wasn't a happy camper what so ever.

[Natsy]

When had I fallen asleep? Sure I had felt the effects of being drowsy but I don’t remember falling asleep. Jerking awake, my eyes still remained closed. For a moment I simply just lay there, afraid to move. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes and almost let out a shrill scream. Hand flying up to my face, fist shoved into my gaping mouth I am on my feet in a second and is utterly frozen in place. A large creature lay sleeping within this.. Oddly shaped and coloured room.

With my gaze locked onto the Dragon. Yes dragon! I slowly back up the two meter mark and stopped moving when I found my heels kicking against a pair of boots which had been placed directly in front of a plain oak door. My gaze lingered on it only for a brief second for I was more preoccupied with the sleeping dragon sharing the room with me. Jade walls, dim lighting and a twelve meter by seven meter interior. The dragon occupied the exact middle of the room taking up four of the seven meters. So that meant that I had only three meters of free space to move around in.

The jade was beautiful against the dimly lit lights, but how the hell did they get a dragon inside a room like this? The dragon was perhaps closest to the same colour as the walls of the room and was sound asleep. That was good. I did not want to awaken the creature and have it feast on us. Or breathe fire.

Petting myself for injures I suddenly realized that I was without any of my weapons. I had been picked dry of my knives, staff, axes.. Everything. Horrified, I remove my cloak and fold it up before shoving it into my butt bag seeing that it was no longer of any use. That revealed a pair of black track pants, black sneakers and a black tank top with Takigakure’s insignia etched onto the back of the fabric in gold cotton. My hitai-ate was still hanging loosely around my neck, the arrow facing down upon the metallic plate shimmered slightly against the dim lighting.

I was moments away from performing handseals when I spotted the young boy whom had reclined upon two chairs within that other room prior to us ending up in here. He was but a mere child compared to me and had glowing red eyes. He was also against the wall nearest the door I was standing in front of. “Who are you?” I whispered after I heard the instructions from the intercom. Weather he replied or not, I turn back around and gaze at the door. Just a simple oak door. I turn around and spot another door beyond the dragon and another three people. Phyre was amongst them. Phyre!

She was aware that I was here, but made no moves to approach me. I frown slightly but shift my gaze to the other occupants in the room. The boy who had been with the red haired and wolf was present, the child beside me and Phyre. There was also another shinobi. The one that resembled a fairy. Arching a brow, I simply stare at the room’s occupants, more so the Iwagakure shinobi standing beside me. So a Ame, Iwa, Kusa and two Taki shinobi were sharing a room with a dragon. How lovely. Turning around, I knell down and pick up the boots before turning to face the child. Gesturing to the boots, I give him a are these yours? look but otherwise remains quiet.

Yosei awoke slowly from his slumber, he was sat against a wall near another person... apparently though he was the last to awaken. Then he realised something, his gas mask wasn't on his face, quickly he began to pat around and he noticed all of his items were gone but thankfully his swarm of 5000 butterflies were still with him. They had taken to hovering up and around the ceiling. As he looked around the area he would notice that no one from his village was here... he was alone in that sense but he would have to do something about that soon... he would need allies to escape this place and the dragon.

The dragons face was right next to his and Yosei looked around at the person next to him as the speaker explained that they had to escape to pass.. they could use any items they wanted but all their items were taken apart from his butterflies. The glowing fairy would shrug and get to his feet slowly looking around noticing that the orange haired woman was at the north wall... thankfully due to his true north ability he always knew which was was north. The confusion about the situation caused his normally green hair to keep changing shade and colour... it wasn't moving at a hypnotic rate but just slowly transitioning around un able to settle.

The orchids on his arms hadn't been effected luckily which meant he still had pure control over the butterflies and his wings were still there meaning he could still fly. The loose sleeveless blue vest top with a hood and green trousers were still on his body and unlike everyone else he remained silent. He was contemplating activating his dojutsu again but the head ache he got last time made him anxious about it.

There is no change in the room.

[maasaa]

Maasaa was watching everyones reactions as he activated his sharingan. His two tomoes swirled around as he inspected the dragon once more. Could it be useful to them he wondered? The woman closest to him asked who he was. Maasaa looked over at her as he moved along the wall towards the door that the boots had been in front of. ”I’m Maasaa.” He spoke quietly as he used his eyes to scan over the regular door. He wasn’t sure if there were traps in the room but staying here certainly wasn’t a way to escape. Maasaa spoke up a bit louder, ”Is there a door you guys think we should open? Can anyone spot traps? We need to make some careful moves if we can to escape.”

Using his sharingan from far range he tried to look over the creepy clown door from farther away. If there was chakra behind or inside of either door it could be useful information but Maasaa wanted to do something. How would his “teammates” react to their objective?

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Hitora slowly walked over to the boots on the ground, however as he had done so a young woman with a rather large chest picked them up. When he reached where she was he, he would overhear the other young man, the one with the Sharingan, introduce himself as Masaa. Strange name that he didn’t remember from the clan, but not important right now, Hitora then asked her if he could inspect them when she was finished, the young man also introduced himself “Hello, I am H itora.” If she permitted him to see the boots and inspect them he would wait for her to hand them to him before he began to inspect them thoroughly.

He knew that he didn’t have the skills to find traps, nor how to disarm them, and what good would it do him? In order to disarm them he surely would have needed some kind of tool in order to do so and he had nothing save the clothes on his back right now. The young Uchiha then began to probe the inside of the boots gently with two fingers from his left hand.

His index finger and middle finger would slowly feel the insides of the leftmost shoe, trying to barely touch the inside to see if there were any pressure sensors in it, hoping beyond all hope that there was nothing in them at all…

[Lava Beneath the Falls]

Phyre was soon realizing the other beings in the room certainly were the other opponents from the exams. Though it certainly wasn't all of them, the room wasn't big enough for that specially with a nearly fourteen foot dragon in the middle of the room....'Wait....what if...nah that wouldn't have happened...quit thinking stupid thoughts...' she would think to herself as for some reason the very idea of...What if the dragon ate the contestants that aren't in the room. Maybe he actually did her a favor then. Hmm....

Thoughts aside, the room was seemingly a bit weirder. It was dimly lit for sure, and with the jaded like color that didn't help much...but now it would seem like things were flickering, Phy would look up to notice how the flickers seemed to have been moving. 'Must have a pest problem...giant dragon and moths...maybe flies...that don't buzz...' she thought but the dragon she was fairly certain was breathing so it wasn't dead....but maybe it had a masking odor that attracted the pests to be in the room. For whatever reason Phy's thoughts were getting strangely odd, as it would seem she was holding conversations in her head trying to come up with her own sense of logic. Course she also shuddered slightly over thought of the bugs above her head...

Though standing where she was, would be getting her no where. She still couldn't really tell who was on the other side of the room. So with that she put a back up plan in her head in case the dragon awoke at any given time. She had one but decided thinking it even out loud in her head was beyond the question. So with that she would turn, keeping the dragon to her right side, and this crazy looking door with the clown smile to her left. Seeing as Phy may have to very silently step backwards a few steps to keep the line of sight of the two things in view...she would use her heels to mask more of the foot step sound. Her right eye could see better which was why she wanted to the dragon on her right.

Phy thus examined the clown door. 'This is anything but normal....it has to be a trap.' she would very carefully reach her left hand out and slowly looking like she was gently stroking the door would look at the smile of it. She also took notice to the flower knob of this thing. 'So...its terrifying clown...and an innocent looking flower?' she would begin to slowly reach for the door knob. Should no one stop her she would very slowly start to attempt to turn the knob. Should it even be able to be turned with the knob being that of a flower. Though the thoughts of this could squirt water started to sink in. She remembered the clown stories her sister would tell her of how clowns would flowers that squirted water. But heh yea like that would happen...right?

OOC: Modified my post due to Hitora and I sorting out our misunderstanding.

So the boy’s name was Maasaa. Right. My gaze travelled toward the dragon again, I was wondering if any movements the others were making were enough to wake it. So far no. It remained sleeping quietly and unmoving. Although I had still been wondering how any of us had gotten into this room in the first place. The dragon itself was around fifteen feet long and was absolutely beautiful to look at. But surely it would not have been put in here through the two doors, absolutely not. It was far too large. But as I gazed up toward the ceiling again, my eyes began examining the area as best as I could. Perhaps part of the ceiling opened? Or was the flooring a kind of stage that rose up?

Was there another room beneath this room? After inspecting the ceiling, my gaze fell upon another shinobi whom had approached while I was looking around. He seemed polite enough and had also introduced himself as Hitora. "Rosalie. And sure, here." I said softly, handing the boots over toward the masked man. Once the man took the boots from my grasp, my gaze dropped to the floor as I hoped to find some sort of indication that this room was capable of changing shape. If nothing popped up, my attention went toward the door again. The boots I handed over to Hitora had been seated right in front of this door prior to me picking them up, but no one seemed to know who or where they had come from.

Was one of the other contestants wearing boots like this? I had not bothered to look so I didn’t know. But why were they placed toe-pointed toward the door? “I don’t see any visible traps, yet I am not skilled in them.” I explained to Maasaa quietly. I probably should start learning how to identity traps when I get out of here. Assuming I survive this of course. As my attention went back to the door, I gingerly touched the knob of the door directly in front of me. I chose to stand sixty five centimetres away from the door itself so that I had enough room to dive out of the way should something happen.

Firstly my hands slid over the knob before the fingers of my right hand gently curled around the knob to twist it. To me, it looked like a regular door, but was it unlocked? Unless anyone tried to stop me, I would turn the knob gently clockwise in hopes of opening the door (roughly at the same time Phyre tried opening the other door). However, should it be locked, I would turn around to see whether anyone else on the other side of this weird room had opened the other door. The chances of waking the dragon seemed slim considering the intercom had not woken it, but I wasn’t willing to test it any further.

“Maasaa, keep an eye on the dragon while Hitora can watch this door as I open it.” I said softly, glancing toward the other shinobi for a brief second.

Yosei kept his eyes on the dragon not wanting to awaken it. He decided it would be worth the risk and awoke his red eyes allowing him to see clearly for 50 meters around including through walls and doors. Even peeking through key holes or cracks in the doors essentially. Before he pushed to view outside though his eyes recognised everyone in the rooms, only one person in the room he knew nothing about other than the fact she had no blood line.. in her hands she had a pair of shoes and not only that but she was about to attempt to open a door.

His wings began to flutter creating only a very slight breeze as he lifted from the floor and up flat against the ceiling, his 5000 butterflies around him and covering him a little almost as a bit of camouflage. While up here Yosei allowed his eyes to spread outside the room and look around.. hopefully this time he wouldn't get hurt by doing so

Maasaa detected a huge amount of chakra within the clown door. The door itself appeared like it was a living being.

There is a small dagger attached to the side of each boot. The blades can be removed. The two sheaths are woven into the boot itself.

The doorknob of the clown door refused to turn. Phyre failed to open the door.

All of a sudden, a voice came out from the clown door. It resonated throughout the entire room.

"Who's there?"

Rosalie successfully turned the doorknob. It seemed like a completely normal door, and opened up to a corridor. If she wanted to step out of the room, she might be able to, quite easily.

Yosei was able to see partially into the walls. However, before his vision could pierce through the walls to any other room, it was stopped. At a random point, Yosei's vision was blocked by something sparkling that couldn't be made out.

The clown door spoke before Maasaa could as it asked a question to either the person opening it or to the room. He’d let Phyre to continue messing with it but would give some advice, ”Becareful with that door. It has a lot chakra coming from it.” With that said Maasaa deactivated his Sharingan. He knew it would be draining on his chakra supplies he could always reactivate the technique later. Maasaa had been requested to keep an eye on the dragon but he had bigger plans. There were two reasons the dragon had been put in the room. It was either here to help them or to destroy them. He wanted to find out which it was.

Maasaa inched near the dragon as he thought about his decisions. The clown door was already weird what was to say perhaps the dragon could talk as well. Approaching its head he looked over the entire body from its head to the tail. It had beautiful scales that looked quite valuable but taking the scales as opposed to simply waking the dragon would likely mean death. Once he was well within range of the dragon’s head Maasaa’s hand flipped through a small series of handseals. His left hand extended away from his body he formed a triangle with his thumb, middle and index fingers. With this accomplished six small fire petals came out of his hand. Moving them near the dragon’s nostrils he hoped the warm sensation would calmly wake the dragon from its slumber without causing too much panic. In the meantime he leaned close to the side of the dragon’s head. From here he would attempt to whisper into the dragon’s ear. His voice was calm, slow and hopefully easing as he spoke quietly, ”Hey dragon, can you help me to get out of this place?” He hoped the dragon wasn’t a wise ass and ate him as a way out of this place but his mind was made up. If his technique woke the dragon everything would likely change. For better or worse he wasn’t sure but someone had to take a gamble. He would take that gamble.

Hanabi no Shinka (Fire Flower of Evolution)

Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive, Defensive, Pre-requisite
Effect: Creates a small flower made of flames with six petals that are each six inches long.
Special: “Hand Seals”- Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Rabbit, Tiger, extending the left hand away from the body, then using the thumb, index, and middle fingers in a triangle-like formation.
Drawback: This ability has no real value beyond using it within a combo attack.
Description: This jutsu creates a flower made entirely of flames. The user performs the required hand seals, channeling chakra through the left hand’s thumb, index, and middle fingers. The left hand is then moved away from the body, and the three mentioned fingers form a triangle shape, while the other two fingers close like the user would make a fist. The built chakra then move upwards and out of the hand, sparking to life and creating a flower with six petals that are six inches long each. If the triangle formation is ever broken, then the entire flame disappears. This ability can almost be treated like a fighting style stance. Each use of a Hanabi no Shinka will require a set amount of petals to be used; after the petals have all been used, the ability must be re-performed. Any time that a part of the Hanabi no Shinka has been destroyed, so long as the whole flower is not destroyed, it will slowly regenerate unless it has been used for an attack.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Accepting the pair of boots from the woman named Rosalie, Hitora would search them as he had planned to. As he did he would notice that the two boots had a small blade inserted into them, pulling the two daggers from the boots Hitora would leave the sheathes behind, since they were woven into the boots themselves. He would then place the two daggers into his utility belt.

He then heard Rosalie speaking about watching the door while she opens it, which he did. Placing the boots back down onto the ground he would watch as she turned the door’s handle and watched as it opened slowly. He saw nothing, nothing strange, it seemed to be a normal door leading to a normal corridor which could be nothing good for them or he could be overly paranoid it was then that he heard the one called Masaa open his big mouth and begin to speak to the dragon.

Suddenly turning to face the other Uchiha, Hitora gave a look of disbelief at the other man. Well he would have if not for the mask covering his face, his mouth simply hung open as he watched the man put small balls of fire near the dragon’s nostrils “What the hell are you doing Masaa?!” said Hitora in a loud whisper, bound to be loud enough to be heard lest the dragon have stirred awake by then.

Really looking at the dragon for the first time, Hitora was a bit awe struck by its size and its color. Jade scales, stretching for a long distance, the dragon easily towered over all of them laying down. Almost as an afterthought the young man wondered how they got the behemoth into the room, or perhaps the question should be if they built the room around the dragon. No matter, the idiot with the Sharingan was attempting to awaken the beast and that could only end badly. Taking a few steps back the young Uchiha with the mask would stare at the dragon in a sort of combat ready stance, ready to fight if need be

Hopefully this dragon stays slumbering….or if it does awaken, that it eats that fool and promptly returns to sleep…. Thought Hitora as he watched what was bound to happen, wondering what would be the next step in all of this exam…

[Lava Beneath the Falls]

Phyre could slightly see some activity going on the other side of the room from where she had stood. Though her focus was more on the door she was trying to open and the dragon. Course it seemed the door did not want to open for her. Instead it wanted to be even more creepy and speak to the entire room. 'Well that's just great....then again that dragon never did wake up the last time someone addressed the whole room like that...' she thought as she was trying to come up with some slick response to the door's question.

"Well....lets see there's this dragon...of whom I shall speak for that is here, and I the one that turned the knob who would very much like to make an escape route out of here and achieve my objective. Now be a good little creepy door and show me the way of escape or I shall become your worst nightmare." she would say in a loud whisper, deciding to only speak for the dragon and herself at this point, and stating more so the truth stead of coming up with anything deceptive at the moment. I mean really this was a door...not an enemy ninja.

In the meantime she caught notice to some what seemed to be little sparks of fire balls someone was creating in front of the dragons nose. 'Oh this is just getting better....' she thought. 'Then again...if that dragon is friendly, it could be a ticket out of here...' anything seemed possible at this point for ways of escape. Phyre also recalled the time she wore her goggles with the x-ray vision lenses on, and how much it felt like she was falling with the multiple stairs and that this was no ordinary house. That's to say if they were still in the same place at which they had started in.

But until something would happen with the dragon, Phy's intent of an escape sat with the creepy clown speaking door off to her left side.

The knob turned swiftly, allowing the door to open. Although one of the two males around me had bothered to listen. Hitora didn’t seem to notice anything unusual or dangerous about the door so I opened it as wide as it would go and eyed the hall. Since I had no weaponry to test the hall with, I stepped to the side and stared at the masked man as he placed the boots down onto the floor. “Can you see anything down this hall?” I said softly, my voice audible enough for only him (Hitora) to overhear.

Out of the corner of my eye, a bright red colour snapped my head into that direction. Maasaa was attempting to wake the dragon. “What the hell are you doing?! Don’t wake it!” I hissed, my posture stiffening while I resisted the urge to throw myself into the hallway. If that dragon woke up only God knew what it would do. Friend? Foe? Who knew? What that kid was doing was highly dangerous and of such a huge risk that I felt like slamming my fist into the side of his skull. See, that reason, among others was why I hated Iwagakure. Stupid shinobi.

Weather Hitora looked into the hall or not, my attention drew back from the Dragon in a hurried way to find Phyre. My comrade was trying to open the clown-faced door, but from the looks of things she was unsuccessful and was having a conversation with it instead. “Phyre! This door has opened!” I whisper-said, all the while performing the horse, rat and finally aiming the triangle handseal directly at Phyre’s head. My chakra shot across the room and harmlessly entered the kunoichi’s ears.

This would enable me to listen in on whatever was happening on Phyre’s end of the room. The words she spoke, the sounds she heard and of course, what the door had said assuming it spoke quiet enough for only her section of the room. I also waited for a response from the kunoichi. A thought of flying over to collect her crossed my mind, but that only depended on if Maasaa was able to wake the Dragon and what that situation would be.

Drawback: The user must be able to at least see the target. If ever the target goes beyond the users visible site the jutsu cancels out. The user cannot move while the jutsu is in effect
Description: The jutsu causes a mental link to establish between the user and the target. Allowing the user to hear everything the target is hearing. This is a spying technique so the target does not feel or notice anything when the jutsu is cast. The user hears everything as if he was experiencing this himself. When doing this jutsu the user can not hear things for himself so if he were to be attacked he could not hear the assailant. Once the target is beyond site such as behind a wall or too far to be seen the jutsu cancels itself out. The Shitakuma cannot learn nor be influenced by this jutsu. Their hearing is too advanced for this jutsu to be used against them, and their ears do not function in a way that would make this jutsu possible if they would try to learn it.

Hovering above the rest of the room Yosei could see all that was happening. One lady opened the door while another was playing with the clown like door.. but what really caught his eye was the idiot uchiha. Trying to awaken a sleeping dragon with an unknown temperament, what an idiot and Yosei was getting out of here. He would gently fly down and command his butterflies to enter the room, although his dojutsu didn't let him see through the walls he decided to keep it active and along with his observational skills he kept a look out for traps.

Should the red / orange haired lady be in the way Yosei would politely ask to enter the room. Sorry, I'm not staying here while he plays with the dragon.. with my dojutsu I should be able to help spot any traps. May I go in first? The fairy didn't know how to speak to this person exactly so he tried to just be honest and blunt after all he didn't know them and they weren't from the village so why build too much of a relationship.

If rosalie let him go through the door he would check the room for traps and proceed with caution into the room, his butterflies up near the ceiling once more ready to be called into action if needed.

The dragon continued to do nothing. Speaking directly to it yielded no new information, but Maasaa heard a squeaking sound. The noise was faint, and came from inside the dragon itself.

Maasaa barely heard the squeaking noise over the annoyed sounds of the other participants. Perhaps teaming up with one another would increase the likelihood of escape but no one said they were partners. Before he made further actions he’d address Hitora whom seemed startled or worried he would try to wake up a dragon. Certainly it might not be the wisest idea but he also didn’t know what lay outside of the room. It could be worthwhile to find out. ”I’m working on a hunch. If you don’t like it go with the rest. If not stick around, I can’t stop you.” Maasaa replied simply back to Hitora. He felt no reason to whisper, the warmth and his previous talking should have woken up the dragon unless it was simply feigning sleep.

Rosalie, the woman he’d woken up next to, seemed to share the disapproval of his actions. He had already given one answer now he had to figure out what he could do with the faint noise he’d heard. Shifting his position Maasaa sat before the dragon’s head as he listened to the door repeat the lines back to the girl trying to make it move. What a strange room and exam they had been put into he mused silently. After momments of thought in his own mind he was having trouble figuring out what to do. Maasaa wanted to figure out just where inside the dragon the noise was coming from.

Standing up from his position Maasaa moved to the rear of the dragon ignoring the others. Some stayed some wanted out of the room. Maasaa placed his hands on the backside of the dragon dat ass and used it to climb atop the dragon. At this point he was all in. Either the dragon would awake, he’d get a better position on what was inside it or nothing. At some point he would have to give up on this hunch of his but he wasn’t at the breaking point for it just yet. Maasaa turned his head to place his left ear to the dragon’s back in hopes to hear the noise better. Speaking louder he hoped his voice would reach whatever was inside the dragon, ”Hello in there, can you hear me? Are you trapped as well?”
