Squad One's first assignment (mission/open)

Amira knew the desert paths of her home country well. Following the map as best she could to meet the direction north as she stood before her village's hate, the Kazekage attempted to devise the direction of travel. "So let's head northish." She said giving the map an odd look. She had hoped that her map would help her navigate towards the land of earth. She currently carried 9 kunai, 45 shuriken, 77 explosive tags, and bundle of wire, and of course the map of the known world. As she prepared herself for the long journey, she looked back to her companions. Hopefully they would be helpful in getting their little team to the land of stone.

Being out of the village felt so good. Kusanagi felt free as he walked behind the Kazekage in the same attire he was wearing when they left the Kazekage tower. His attire consisted of a black hakama and white haori. His new big pouch carrying 60 slots of clay hung on his left thigh. He had his left arm placed on his pouch, hiding the mouth on his arm from everyone. His Sunagakure forehead protector tight on his forehead. He had seen Ramses carrying a gourd, and remembered that in the village they were going there was no sand. He really needed a gourd of his own. The Kage looked at the map and suggested they had north. Whichever direction the leader took Kusanagi would follow.

The air was soft and humid as always in the land of wind. However they were going to the land of stone now which excited Ramses. He had never set foot out of the village before and doing this was a new experience. It was a strange thrill of excitement that was for sure. Walking around he would check out his surroundings. His cloak with 285 senbons and 2 kunais pressed tightly to his chest, easily grabbed while his gourd was resting delicately on his back. He was really hoping that there would be little to no complications on the way there. Ramses wasn't as strong as he wanted to be but he wasnt about to to be useless.

Amira carried a steady pace as she and companions tabled north. If they kept a strong pace, they could reach the land of stone before night fall. With that thoughtful hope, Amira trudged on in silence with her companions. She really wasn't sure what she would say to them other than what to do. This was the curse of being a Kage. The desert slowly began to appear as if it had some life. The less desolate northern portion of the country began to appear as they came across a river that decided the northern portion of wind country according to the map. The gentle flow of the deep river gave her a sense of relaxation as they approached. "Looks like we are on course with a few hours to spare." She said as they approached. The river was an unknown distance across and appeared to be fairly deep. She looked back at her companions as they probably approached her. "So guys, we need to get over this river." She said pointing at the opposite shore. "After we cross there will take a min to rest." She said as she took the first step onto the cool surface of the water.

Amira began to focus her chakra to match the flow of the water as her feet easily tread across the water. The cool water splashed her toes as she preceded across the river. The watery source was not the most concerning obstacle for a ninja after all. She eventually crossed the river completely. "Come on!" She said waving at her comrades to hurry along. She sat down on the cool sandy dirt soil and relaxed for a moment. It wasn't often that a Ninja team got this far ahead of schedule. They probably didn't have long before that time was consumed either. Sitting there across the river, she decided that it might be helpful to have another body to use later on. Quickly flashing the Ox, Dragon, ram, then Ox handseals, she quickly began to grow a second rendition of herself out of her own body. The technique took a bit more chakra to perform, but there was not going to be any wood around for a while. As the wooden copy of herself stepped out and took on its own form, Amira knew that it would look just like her except for its wooden doll like appearance. Sighing as she leaned back and relaxed, her clone now added itself to the party.

Description: When first learned the user is capable of creating three clones that are within the size of Medium size. The wood looks similar to that of a human but the wood is wrapped around the body torso and switched around making the clone look that of a giant tree with awkward shapes. A wood clone is able to use wood techniques.
Limit: Must have the Wood Release

Mokusei Shishi (Wooden Limbs)
Rank: "B" Rank
Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: Allows the user to perform Mokuton Ninjutsu from their body instead of having to draw on it from nature.
Special: ---
Drawback: Drains an additional "E" Rank amount of chakra from the user for every rank in a technique that they perform with this one.
Description: After learning to use Mokuton Ninjutsu for a great period of time, the user learns that they are capable of creating Wood Ninjutsu from their body. By manipulating both the Earth and Water release and channeling it through their body, they take small portions of water from their body and feed it into the atmosphere. Merging that with the Earth around them, they then channel that released energy back through their body, and then release it once more, creating wood for Mokuton Ninjutsu techniques. Drains an additional "E" Rank amount of chakra for every rank of a technique performed with this ability as well (example: User performs a "C" Rank technique, drains the "C" rank chakra from the technique and an additional two "E" Ranks for it being a "C" Rank [D, C, B, A, S]).
Limit: Automatically learned upon the user obtaining 500 TP in Mokuton Ninjutsu.

Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking

Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water. Allows a user to learn up to Any Rank Chakra related Techniques within the rightful restrictions.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu Technique.

Kusanagi walked silently with his team as they headed north. He felt quite excited leaving all that sand behind. All his life he had been surrounded by sand. Going somewhere where there was less sand and more grass was always something he wanted to do. He loved the village of sand very much, but being around sand all the time was not something he wanted. He hoped the land of stone was not all rock and no grass. Missions like this are the reason he chose to become a shinobi. They came across a river which meant they were getting close to wherever they were heading. The river's deepness was unknown. The leader explained that they needed to cross the river to reach their destination Kusa would let the leader go first. As soon she stepped in the river, he would follow. Before stepping into the river, he would focus an even amount of chakra to the soles of his feet. The chakra would allow him to walk on top of the water without sinking in.

After she had crossed the river, the leader decided that they should take a break. She said on the down just across the river. Weren't there any trees they could rest under? Resting on the sun was not relaxing. Kusanagi would sit next to his leader. As they sat there Amira waved a couple of handseals, and created a copy of herself. Seeing Amira create a clone, he decided to create something to protect him if they got attacked. He took a deep breath before revealing the mouth on his left palm. He remembered how everyone reacted in the academy when they saw his mouth. He hoped his teammates wouldn't treat him like a freak after seeing it. He unzipped his pouch and allowed for his mouth to enter the pouch to consume 2 slots of clay. After consuming the clay he would pull his hand out and start chewing the clay, infusing it with explosive chakra. He moulded the clay into a small dove and spat it out onto his left hand. He held a handsign that allowed his dove to grow into a size of a fully matured dove. The clay dove would gain dove abilities and take of to the sky. The dove didn't far from him.

"Incediary Blast"

SKill: Ninjutsu
Effect: A clay bomb that burns its enemies in
its explosion.
Special: Refer to "katsu" Consumes 2 slots for
one mouth.

Drawback: Time and preparation.
Descriptiom: After molding and infusing a
piece of clay, the user may form any creature
they wish from the clay (spider, bird, etc,
small size). This clay creature moves about,
fulfilling the users desires. Upon command,
this clay creature will explode releasing
intense heat from its blast. This explosion
reacts violently with the air, allowing for
special combustion, which emit more heat
then normal. This explosion covers a 10 meter
radius, and can cause anywhere from 2nd and
3rd dagree burns (depending on how close you
are). Anything past 10 meters, receives
intense heat that singes clothing, hair and
most like leaving mono burns (past 16 meters
is harmless)
Limit: Must know "Katsu", "mouth control" at
least once, C-ranked "clay infusion" and C-
ranked "clay life"

Drawback: If the user performs "Katsu" for
detonation, their is no way to stop the
detonation. The Bomb will explode no matter
what (Though Certain bombs may be the
exception to this rule, stated by the jutsu
itself ).
If the user uses "Katsu" to enlarge a clay
creature, that said clay creature Cannot revert
back to its minuter version. The clay creature
enlarges no matter what (Though Certain
bombs may be the exception to this rule,
stated by the jutsu itself).
Description: A special handseal. This seal
denotes "Concentration". A sankuchi uses this
sign for a variety of purposes; whether it is to
alter the size of certain creations, cause a
creation to detonate or give a special effect
stated by a certain jutsu/clay creation. The
handseal is one of the users hand head
upward, his/her index and middle finger held
upward, while his/her thumb, ring finger and
pinky held inwards the palm. The user may
also hold both index and middle fingers of
both there hands together, crossing there
pinky and ring finger, with there thumb
meeting as well. (either way gives the same
effect, no being superior to the other). Katsu is
used in a majority of the Sankuchi jutsus, and
its effects are constant unless otherwise
stated.
"Katsu" detonates any bomb the user selects,
but detonate, all of the same bombs for the
same set. For example, if the user creates 2
clay spiders for "Tagging bomb" and 2 clay
birds for "Grenade", the user may choose to
detonate the clay birds used for "Grenade" and
not the spider used for "Tagging bomb".
However, the user detonates all the clay birds
at the same time and not one after another. In
the case above, once the user decides to
detonates the 2 clay birds used in "Grenade",
they are both destroyed at the same time.
(some jutsus may be the exception to this
rule, stated by the jutsu itself).
Limit: Only useful to the Sankuchi. Anyone
may learn this, but why?

The travel was nice and peaceful for the time being but Ramses was not one to let his guard down. He needed to make sure that they were on the right set. As they approached the river it would prove to be a new challenge, however it was a simple one that many shinobi were able to get over. Pushing chakra into his feet he would cross the river along side his team. He didn't want to fall behind in any sense whatsoever. Pushing forward they would cross the river and it would be complete. The Kazekage then decided for them to take a break at the other side of the river.

The Kazekage had set up a clone of herself that was created out of what seemed to be wood. Then Kusanagi had a strange and interesting technique. He had a mouth on his palm that had chewed up a ball of what seemed to be clay and created a bird that took flight. It was fascinating at the very least. Quickly not letting himself be beat he created 5 clones of sand from the sand that was on the ground. He then ordered them to sit on the trees and keep watch to make sure nothing was to ambush. Ramses would be surprised if anything would get by.

Amira slipped her shoes off her feet and began to run her little feet through the cool currents of the water while her team seemed to be catching on. Looking at her clone, she quickly nodded towards Ramses. The cool water felt great upon her feet as she sat up and began to watch the clouds for a bit. The clone would have her back, so she was not worried about any ambush from their enemy in their home territory.

"So..." Amira said awkwardly as she tried to think of a way to hold conversation. Then suddenly she noticed the odd hand on Kusanagi's left hand. The chewing motion of the smooth mouth upon his hand was intriguing. She couldn't help but to stare at it while it created its dove. After the bird took off, Amira quickly leaned over and grasped his left forearm with her right hand. Taking a closer look at the hand's mouth, she began to rub the now closed palm with her left index finger. "That is so cool." She said plainly as she released his fore arm. "Where did you get the sweet hand mouth?" She asked stretching her hands behind her head as she leaned backwards to lay down in the cool grass.

She wanted to enjoy the last few moments before their departure. The cool breeze and water did feel pretty great after all. Ramses clones deployed a head of them to keep an eye out for any enemies. They would need to be on the road soon, but she was sure the mission could wait a few minutes while she rested. Splashing her feet in as she awaited Kusanagi's response. She knew that the pair that accompanied her was ready to do whatever it took to complete the mission. That was why she selected them after all. The warm sun warmed her face as she closed her eyes. She was going to enjoy this moment of rest before it slipped through her fingers.

This desert was a torment. The sun was just to much, much longer in it and she would have burned. She had to track down a traveling merchant and procure a cloak to cover her body from this god awful sun. Her clothing underneath this ugly brown cloak was still the same as when she set off on her little journey. A black crop top that barely contained her bossoms was all she wore across her upper torso. Her pants were a pair of matching black short shorts so short they almost looked like underwear, held to her waist needlessly by a brown belt with no buckle, though no one could really tell as she wrapped herself completely in the cloak she wore. Her legs themselves however were covered almost completely however as her boots were long enough to cover the appendages up above the knee and partway up her thigh, golden in colour. Underneath her cloak one could make out that she was carrying weaponry. The Kyuushi blade which she wore on her left hip was still with her as was a wakizashi blade she wore on her right hip, and her gourd of water that she carried on her back. Wearing a buttbag she also carried a kunai, three shuriken, a slot of flash pouches, her world map, and a grenade.

In her efforts to track down the merchant she had managed to lose her way and somehow wound up at a river of sorts. "Now this isn't the way I want to go..." she trailed off to herself, pondering just how she ended up at a river in a field of sand. At least she was out of the sun though. The heat was still ever present though the cloaks hood kept the sun off her face rendering it tolerable at the very least. Taking a quick rest by the waters edge she was wary of the local shinobi. She still wore the Leaf Village headband on her forehead, representing her home. If they caught on to her at this point it would be bad. She accessed her sensor abilities to try and root out any potential ambushes as she washed her face in the water, kneeling by the rivers edge and cupping the liquid in her hands. She was surprised however as the moment she splashed the water across her cheeks she recognised a familiar chakra signature. Amira was nearby.

Moving to intercept the girl, upon approaching the group at a distance of twenty meters she would call out to her 'ally'. "Honestly you're not that hard to track down, are you sure you're the Kazekage" her words were spoken in jest, friendly teasing. She was well aware of the girls companions so she kept her distance, especially since she could also sense the clones they had with them. They were busy it seemed, they perhaps would not like interruptions though business was more important than whatever they were doing currently she was sure.

Effect: The basic technique needed in order to learn all Sensor Techniques.

Description: The basic yet complex ability that allows Sensor's to find, sense, and track individuals over a vast range. This ability is done by the user closing their eyes and opening their mind's eye in order to see the advanced chakra systems around them. At A rank and above, Sensors no longer need to close their eyes in order to access their mind's eye. The user of this jutsu can only sense those up to the equivalent class rank of the rank they know. (i.e. If the user knows up to B rank in this jutsu they can sense characters of all the way from D to B rank. The basic range of this technique is ten meters.
Limit: Must fulfill all requirements to become Sensor in order to learn this technique.

Effect: A technique used to increase the range of Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.

Effect: A technique used to differentiate between chakra signatures.

Description: This skill is used in conjunction with Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. This passive ability allows the user to differentiate between separate chakra signatures. A person will be able to tell if the chakra is that of a human or an animal. Also once the user sees an individual’s chakra signature once they will automatically recognize that persons chakra signature from then on.

Description: Due to their sight of the chakra nature and advanced abilities the user is able to differentiate between a clone and a real person. At A rank the user can sense any and all clones including Kage Bunshin this is because of the advanced sensing abilities that allow the user to differentiate between human and animals.

The girl then continued asking Kusa about his mouth. Kusa couldn't help but laugh at the question. To him it was silly. "Thanks." he said with a smile. "I was born with this sweet mouth. I plan on getting another was on this paln" he said waving his right hand.

Ramses heard the voice from a far and his body twitched. 20 meters away he spotted an unidentified person who had called out to them. Ramses couldn't make out wether she was friend or foe but he wasn't one that would take any slight precautions. As soon as his body turned his hands flashed into a sequence of handseals, however he would wait for activation on the jutsu. The earth beneath him stayed still. If the Kazekage would deem this person as a threat then actions would be made but for the time being Ramses would stand there. He didnt like conflict after all. If mcuh of anything he would much rather avoid it. But whatever the case may be it would have to wait till the Kazekage would make a decisions.

Amira laughed as Kusanagi waved his other hand. "That's pretty neat." She said simply. As she spoke another familiar voice struck her ears. It sounded almost exactly like the Konoha's police chief she had spent some time with only a few weeks prior. "Is that you chief?" She asked as she turned around to see the approaching Konoha police chief only 20 meters away. "You know it's a good thing I'm so easy to track, because how else would you find me?!" She said now relieved that her ally had shown up. Placing her left hand up flat in the air to signal to her team that everything was alright, Amira got up and began to approach the now obvious KMP. "So what brings you to me today my friend?" She said approaching the KMP barefooted. She admired the police chief's gusto in meeting their agreements. Their meeting was scheduled for a while to come however, so a meeting now was definitely more convenient. Crossing her arms as she stood before the chief, Amira waited to hear what the Police chief had to say.

Distrust of course swarmed the two accomplices to the point that one of them had actually prepared a jutsu in defence, unnecessary as it were. Amira of course stopped their actions before anything could take off allowing for more detailed conversation to take place. "Easy for me to find you yes, however I imagine it would be easy for others to find you as well" the blonde explained with a slight hint of sarcasm in her voice. "I can't have my new ally dieing on me now, can I? Please be more discreet in the future." Walking into clear visability now Amarante approached as Amira did as well stopping at a distance of about three meters. From her the three would be able to see the Leaf Village head band quite clearly on her head. With the Leaf Village and the Sand Village being at war as they were Amarante wondered just how these two would react. "My being here is a matter of convenience. It was more convenient for me to be here now rather than later, so let's get our business over with now."

If she was allowed to she would ready her map for the exchange of village locations. She would set the Leaf Village's gate on Amira map, in exchange taking the Sand Village's gate location. An initial encounter, further details on the Leaf Village would have to wait. The details on the Leaf Village's military and infrastructure needed to be discussed in a more secret location anyways. Sorry accomplices.

"Indeed." She said getting right down to business. She pulled out her world map and exchanged village locations with Amarante. "I agree, let's hurry along." She said quickly marking the leaf villages gate location on her map. She willingly exchanged the sand villages gate to the KMP as well. This was a fortunate meeting, and was gladly done swiftly. "And...there we go." She said rolling her map back up and placing back in her vest's Breast pocket. "Looks like we are done here, we will speak again more privately soon." Amira said in a serious tone. "However now we are on business, so we must be on our way as I'm sure you must be as well." Amira said nodding to her ally before heading off towards the land of stone. Waving her hand forward with her index finger and middle finger pointed, she signaled for her squad to continue on. "Catch you around chief." She said as she proceeded towards the land of stone in haste. With the map updated and a mission on the way, Amira now had to push their pace if they were going to make it to the land of stone before sun down.

Smiling, Amarante was quite assured that this was the correct location that she had marked on her map. Now it was time to go and check the place out. "I'm going to be visiting you grate now, I have a technique which will allow for more discreet conversation between ourselves though I'm going to have to have ventured to your gate just once in order for it to work." With those words she had no more use to be here currently and took off on her way out of the area and toward the Sand Village which had been marked on her map.

Kusanagi returned back to where he was sitting after Amira had gave them a signal not to attack. He kept his eyes on the unknown person. Amira seemed to know this girl. The unknown girl got close enough for Kusanagi to see. 'She's definitely not from our village.' he said to himself after seeing the unfamiliar headband on the girl. As the two ladies approached Kusa walked towards the river, not keeping his eyes off the unknown girl. Ramses loosened up as the woman exited the premise which then Kusanagi asked him if his gourd was at all heavy. "No not at all. It's quite fascinating really. I kind of use my abilities to control Sand to keep it afloat. The sand is actually subconsciously just lifting the gourd from the inside." He said with confidence as he patted the gourd on his back. "Though I can't take credit for the idea. Much of it was stolen from elder sand monks"

Now the landscape began to look just like hardened stone. The gray appearance that the now rocky landscape gave off was beautiful and ominous at the same time. the Kazekage already began to miss the soft sands of Sunagakure as she and her clone proceeded forward along with her companions. "Welcome my friends to the land of stone." She said opening her arms to greet the cool stone cliff faces that they faced ahead of them. She had never been here before, so the whole experience was definitely going to be enjoyable. Amira adjusted her belt as she felt her shoes slap against the hard earth with each step.
