All around him, the people were watching closely as a whole sing and dance routine was taking place right in front of them. Not really being one for those kinds of things at all, he could still appreciate all of the effort that was being put into it. Sitting through the entire thing, he even clapped a couple of times before rising from his seat and walking over to the buffet as everyone else that had also been waiting around started moving around. Hearing conversations start all around him, his eyes dashed back and forth between people, trying to remember their faces in case he were to run into them again at some point. He felt like it wouldn't be a bad thing, just in case one of them would at one point become an enemy or an aspiring ally.
In so doing, he picked up a couple of familiar faces from the start of the hunt, people he had seen at the starting zone. He also noticed that some people were nowhere to be found, likely due to them feeling ashamed for getting nothing done in the hunt to earn them any of the recognition they wanted, got hurt out in the field or worse. Regardless, he did not really know anyone involved, so he could not be bothered with such things one bit. He had more pressing matters to attend to, namely figuring out what he was going to eat. Picking some generic servings such as rice, some chicken skewers and some beef, he figured he could always go out and get more.
Being greedy was never a good look on anyone, so he kept it modest as he returned to his seat. Figuring that the whole prize ceremony for the contestants of the hunt would likely be starting out soon, he might not have the time to finish up a large serving. Luckily, no one had bothered talking to him, just like he had made no attempt at starting any conversation either. Simply sticking to the shadows in a manner of speech, he kept himself out of any discussions by focusing on himself, his surroundings and most importantly, his food. While nobody yet knew his name or that he had taken part in the hunt, he still had the luxury of enjoying the peace and silence, which might change soon.
