"Is there a reason you lot keep nodding toward me?" inquired the dog. The female jumped when she heard the canine speak.
"He doesn't like people much" explained his owner.
"I apologize. It's the first time I've seen a canine like yours" replied Marii.
She sat down on her given seat after the blonde man [Ace] had sat down. The Kusakage started by telling them to be honest with one another.
"Delightful as it seems for change to occur it means to change the hearts of mortals. Which time has illustrated must begin with the seedlings of youth which I afraid is too late for a few villages such as Konoha" informed the male.
His gaze then shifted towards her bodyguard. "Also for change towards peace to occur manners are an premium which improperly seating at an table during an official meeting is beyond unacceptable.
So lad if you would be so kind to turn around properly with some dignity unless you prefer for us to not be able to see your hands after all they should be on the table" told the foreigner. "Please calm down sir. Shiki-san is here to protect me and he's just doing his job" assured the female in a semi-polite voice.
"Pardon me, speaker. Before we cast an eye at the manners of others, how about your own? Did I miss it during the commotions here, or did you fail to announce yourself?
How could we know the weight of your words and your status without that? You arrived after we already declare identities, so how could you know of everyone’s importance enough to go on about dignity?" inquired the girl.
Her question made the young woman raise an eyebrow. She did have a point. All the Raikage knew was that his village was not an ally of Konoha.
'I better keep my cards close to the chest. He seems to be more mature than some of the others here' decided the female.
'This guy could be a valuable ally. Especially if he's from a village close to us. Or a village that's doing well' thought the fake greenette.
She decided to remain quiet until further notice. Her crystal blue eyes were looking at the people around the table.
Most of them appeared to be in their teens or early twenties. The only exception was the blonde sitting across her plus the Otokage.
'I better be careful. Kumgakure no Sato is one of the big five after all. Some of them may be from smaller villages who want strong allies' thought the young woman.
