One must travel up a hill, the road cleanly paved for citizens and tourists to arrive.
As they travel up to Moyoushi's gates, on either side of the hill is a rectangular structure acting as a marker. Both of them provide simple information for those who wish to come to Moyoushi. Upon the left marker it indicates the name of the city as well as its population. On the right marker, it reminds those to properly present their visa upon arrival at the gates. This visa is a green scroll, titled "Welcome Tourist" for temporary visitation rights or "Welcome Home" for permanent residence. Both markers are made of limestone and are rectangular in nature. The information is presented in Kanji and Hiragana. Once passing the markers, a traveller would easily be able to notice the two grey pillars of two point five feet in height. They're connected to a dark yellow railing on either side of a small bridge. This bridge serves to connect the hill to the other hill, for convenience.
The bridge leads to the gates, a three story structure pictured above.
This structure is actually a defensive wall meant to protect those of Moyoushi. It is surrounded by a wide zigzag moat, covering the first layer. The wall extends ten kilometres long, four meters high and is twenty one meters thick. Beyond the ten meter defensive wall, is a large stone structure with yellow pillars that are ten meters high. They form a circular shape and connect with the mountains on the West side and the East side of the city, effectively sealing off the city from view. There are three entrances visible when one arrives at the gate. Two of them are meant for City Council employees only and connect to the stairs of the defensive wall. This allows guards to move up and down the three floors and effectively perform lookout duties. The entrance within the middle contains two sliding doors that will close shut, effectively blocking off the city from pedestrian access. Stationed on either side of the wall are two guards, they will halt you and ask for the Visa. Along the second floor are more guards wandering and keeping lookout.
Once you've presented the visa, it'll be inserted within two holes. The hole on the left side is the tourist visa, the hole on the right is for the permanent residence visa. When the scroll is placed inside, it is scanned by the security system and allows for the doors to open. This is done by a special barcode on the scroll.
Traveller information:
Those who present their Rain Headbands or Leaf Headbands proudly are treated just like Non-Ninja would. This is because those of Konhagakure and Amegakure have helped the city over the many years since its establishment. Many of the guards are either retired ninja or sons and daughters of retired ninja from these villages. Below is a miniature guide to understand citizen’s view of different Shinobi Nations:
0~30% Strong dislike
31-50% Uncomfortable
51-75% Neutral
76-100% Accepted/liked

If you haven't already, please read this thread for rules on finding and entering Moyoushi. Only those whom are approved in their quest for Moyoushi (and have their Visa) or citizens of the village (who have their Visa) are allowed to post in this thread.
