|Shinobi Information|

Hiroki Ryuusei: A Current Member and Leader of Team Chimera Zero. He is 11 years old and is a B-ranked Genin. Hiroki is on point with any type of weapon there is, given he has mastered the art of Weapon Specialist. The young Genin is also rather gifted in Ninjutsu, having studied the art of Raiton. Hiroki currently is in possession of a 30lbs draw Bow.


Shigure Semitsu: A Current Member of Team Chimera Zero. He is 13 years old and is a C-ranked Genin. Shigure studies the Genjutsu arts and has a mastery within them. But don't let the boy fool you, he may claim that his strength lies with Genjutsu, but he is equally as gifted in Ninjutsu. Shigure currently is in possession of a Mateki Flute.

Phyre Raines: A Current member of Team Chimera Zero. She is 13 Years old and is a C-ranked genin. Phyre's hot temper matches her gift of Mastering the Fire Element. Not only does the girl like playing with fire, but shes also a close-ranged Taijutsu specialist. Phyre is currently in possession of two Sais.

Semitsu Family Main House

Given that the three young genin had no actual way to pay for a house, Hiroki's Mother had given the three of them a tip about an abandoned House only 5 miles outside of Takigakure in the Mountains that was once used by Shigure's and Hiroki's ancestors. The Semitsu Family's Main House. Though the Semitsu weren't very well known, nor prestigious in Taki no Kuni, they did manage to secure a beautiful house at the base of a small mountain just outside of Takigakure. Though it has been abandoned for nearly a century, the members of Team Chimera Zero have taken the task to clean it up and restore their quaint house.

Currently the House only holds the necessities, running water, plain furniture, and hardwood floors. Outside the house has a rather large forest to the west, and a small mountain to the east. A rather small pond stretches out in front of the house, and a small field just past the pond. The versatility of the land is great for sparring in the field, or training various Ninjutsu.

It was just another simple day in Takigakure, the winter weather quite cool, snow covering the ground around the outside of urban part of the city. Even though it was winter, the sun's rays we're bearing down on the landscape, melting the weakest areas of the frozen landscape. There stood a young Genin, about 13 in age, walking around the area, with his head held down.

Shigure Semitsu had been rather bored lately, having not found an adequate teacher since his Sensei had perished. The whole ordeal had saddened the boy, but he wouldn't show such an emotion to anyone not close to him. It looked as if the boy was lost in though, not really caring where he stepped, which showed when every so often he would trip up on a hidden root. The boy's ever prevalent mind seemed to battle him at every turn. He was quite smart, but the chaos in his mind seemed to hold him back.

The thoughts in his mind now were of deep loneliness. His closest acquaintance to a friend had just died, and because of his personality, he hadn't made very many friends as of yet... well none. He did have his family, but he couldn't stand most of them. Solely for the fact that they wouldn't allow him to grow up the way he wanted, and constantly babied him. He wouldn't go back to Hi no Kuni for a while, if ever, to deal with that problem. But there was some of his family in Takigakure, his aunt and a very optimistic cousin whom seemed to be everywhere that Shigure went. Maybe something could blossom there?

Hiroki had been walking around, or rather he had been trying to actually find his cousin. He was carrying a canvas bag that had something in it, a bit o fabric stuck out of the top. He had asked around, and then checked the usual place where people said that Shigure trained. He stopped by the home of his cousin's late sensei and gave the surviving wife his condolences.

The elder woman mentioned that she had not seen Shigure in quite some time. Hiroki thanked her for the help and walked around a bit more and only ran into his cousin while he walked around in the forest. The first thing he noticed was that the older boy looked like he had been falling over...a lot.

"Hey! Shigure!" he called out to him, running over toward his cousin and nearly tripping on some exposed roots himself. He stumbled to a stop next to Shigure and held the bag out to him. "Um, mom said I should give you these." He smiled, hoping that Shigure would take the bag.

The constant tripping has taken a toll on the young genin, as Shigure's once pristine and expensive clothing choices had become ripped on a few branches while walking. The boys knees and elbows seemed a little scratched up as well, appearing to have actually broken skin just barely enough for small amounts of blood to appear. It seemed like the different stumbles would have been enough for Shigure to gain focus on walking, but he was too far in his mind to care.

A call out to him had been enough though, his eyes finally focusing on the arrival of his cousin. The blank stare on his face turned to disdain. -Why is he here... again.- It had gotten a bit annoying for the younger family member to constantly appear near him, and it seemed this time it was a direct meeting. -Great... he brought something for me- Since the meeting was direct, Shigure couldn't actually brush him off, as there was nothing else to focus on in the area, just one human to another.

Speaking in a mumbled voice, he'd address his Cousin. "Hiroki... what are you doing here?" Right after he spoke these words, he'd notice the bag in his cousin's hands, as well as the boy's words. Shigure inept way of visualizing an area instantly went to the piece of cloth sticking out of the bag. "Are those.. clothes?" Even though he didnt have any type of wardrobe to change into, and stayed in the clothes that he had left home with, this would have been a good gesture to Shigure. Unfortunately, Shigure took this as a sign of Hiroki thinking Shigure was weak, and couldn't provide for himself.

"I don't want your damn clothes... go away."

Hiro looked down to the ground and almost like he holding back tears (he definitely was) but he shook his head and almost stared down his cousin, holding the bag back out.

This was one of the things that Hiroki didn't know. He didn't understand why Shigure didn't like him so much. The younger boy seemed determined to figure that out...which meant that Hiro would just have to stick around and figure out why.

"Yes they're clothes. I was talking to mom and she said that she was worried about you, and I said you could probably use some new clothes...and...well, here."

As he spoke, it seemed that his mood declined. He was trying his hardest to to stay a bit strong but his own family didn't like him...and honestly Shigure was one of the few family members he actually had left.

He was only eleven after all, and losing his dad had taken a toll on the poor kid's head, at least in certain situations.

"Hey Shigure...why do you hate me?"

Shigure was infuriated. It was the only emotion the boy could muster when he heard that Hiroki had told his mother about him being in Takigakure. Shigure instantly close the gab being them, his face molding into that of pure fury, attempting to stand on inches from his cousin. "You TOLD your mom I was here! If she tells my parents I swear to you!" He wouldn't finish his rant, for another sentence came out of Hiroki's mouth.

With this Shigure's face would contort to something more confused, his mouth dropping open and a blank stare would erupt from his gaze at the younger family member. Taking a step or two back, Shigure's gaze would drop from Hiroki to the ground. "I... well... I don't hate you-" Shigure's mentality brought on a small flashback to his days in Hi no kuni, being forced to dress in the most fashionable attire, going to school with kids would didnt know a kunai from a shuriken, and never stepped out of their destined future to take over their families wealthy estates. His own family was of this caliber, and in turn, Shigure must have piled on his relatives as well, since family was family.

It didnt take long for Shigure's mind to weigh everything clearly now, showing that Hiroki's family wasn't even remotely like his parents and little brother, they actually stayed within the mindset or the olden days, when the last name Semitsu would bring terror to an opponents face. Where the Semitsu line has become something of a status symbol now, the Ryuusei hadn't. In-fact, his Father really didnt think of Hiroki's mother as a close family member anymore, for the fact she did the same that Shigure himself has been attempting to do, in Shigure's mind anyways.

Coming to, Shigure finished his words. "-Im just... scared that if my parents find out I'm here, they'll pay some mercenaries to come and take me back home. Which was why I've been trying to make you hate me so you'll leave me alone." It took a lot for Shigure to admit he was wrong, even though it wasn't admitting it to Hiroki directly, his own mind had proved him wrong, hopefully. "So tell your mom not to speak of me to my parents... okay?"

With this cleared, Shigure sat on the ground, drawing in the snow as he usually does when he is either bored, or nervous. The only thing that directed his eyes from the drawing, was a quick glance to the clothes and nothing more.

Hiroki sniffled slightly and jumped almost as soon as Shigure started to yell but finished his questions anyway. He wiped his nose with his arm and thought about everything that Shigure had just admitted to him, listening and absorbing every word. He didn't know what to say but he sat down next to Shigure, placing the bag between them.

"She doesn't talk to them much anyway..." he told his cousin, looking over. "And even if she wanted to tell them I wouldn't let her." His voice started to get a little shaky as he kept talking, leaning forward onto his arms. "...Cause...you and her are really... the only family I have anymore. I haven't really made any friends since my dad died."

He let out a heavy sigh and just went silent after that for until Shigure decided that he would speak.

Shigure had heard that Hiroki's father had passed, and that he was really close to the man, but it always seemed the boy had gotten over it. Hiroki was always in Hiroki's eyes as extremely optimistic, and with that fact, Shigure assumed he was okay. It didnt seem like the boy was though, hearing him speak that he hadn't found any friends either. Well, they were family, after all.

Deciding that he would break the silence, Shigure spoke to his cousin. "Hiroki... I'll take those clothes you brought. As you can see, I haven't really been able to buy any since I left my village." With this, he gently smiled to the young boy, though it faded quickly. Even though he had the boy's word that his family wouldn't find about about Shigure's location, only time could tell. This was a start of something better than what they had, but it wasn't friendship by a long shot.

After putting on a nice green coat he had found in the bag, Shigure spoke once more. "Well... the last mission we took ended quite.. awkwardly. But i like the idea about finding a few people that work together well to form a team." Shigure didnt want to ask his Cousin, so he waited until Hiroki could put two and two together to ask first. Shigure wasn't a leader in any way, and he didnt want to take that responsibility.

Hiroki's expression slowly changed when Shigure took the bag of clothing. It turned from nearly in tears into a big smile, happy that Shigure was at least...trying to change his opinion.

He stood up, looking around the snowy area. He had the sense to wear a jacket over his shirt though for some reason he was still wearing shorts and his long sandals.

Shigure likes the idea of people working together as a team...

That thought raced through his head while he was looking around the scenery. He stopped and looked back to his cousin, his eyes pretty wide in surprise.

"What about me and you?!" he asked, a little loud. He immediately shrank back like a scolded puppy with a nervous smile. He was back into his optimistic self, the depression shoved back into who knows where. "Heh...sorry. But...I think it could work..."

Shigure jumped as Hiroki's outburst had startled him. His hand that was previously outlining the picture he drew in the snow, was sent smashing into the picture itself, ruining it. Shigure's eyes drifted upwards and attempted to bury themselves deep into Hiroki's skull, but soon faded. Shigure would play nice for now, though his usual annoying stare returned on Hiroki.

"A team huh..." Shigure appeared to think about it for a moment, but he already knew what his answer was. "I guess so... but we cant be a team with two people... we need at least three." The young genin sighed shortly after. Knowing both of them had no other friends, so finding one or two more people would be hard to fill the team.

Phyre was up in her usual tree of a home just outside the village gate relaxing. She was wrapped in some sort of blanket warming her hands by one of her doku pots she managed to rig to hang from a branch above her. The girl who was thirteen years of age reached back behind her for some food. She had carved into the tree a bit to keep items stowed away there, as she reached in she realized she was out of food. She had to think a bit as to how she would get more, she could either go out hunting again, or attempt to enter the village and see what was sold for cheap. Phy was one that didn't have alot of money on her, so she thought of she may have to pull off something crafty to get some food in her starving stomach.

She leapt down into the snow covered ground beneath her and wrapped a cloaked around her shoulders that also seemed to mask her face a bit with its huge collar. The cloak had definitely seen better days as she walked into the village, being all frayed and tattered at the bottom. It seemed some of it was clawed, which would be due to Phy's journey from her old home to here. It wasn't exactly a walk in the park. As she walked about she would notice a food vendor near the forestry area of the village, only problem was they were pricey. Phy would stand there trying to seem inconspicuous about what was running through her mind, other then the fact that she was cold but she held a doku pot like a lantern in attempt to counter that.

While standing there she heard someone yell, she turned her head to see two boys seeming to argue well the one anyway. 'Must be nice to have family....' she thought as she stood by looking over at them. 'Wonder if...' a small smirk came acrossed her face, as she stood there now considering how she was gonna get her money. 'Such a fine jacket...they got to have something...'

Hiroki was almost immediately brought down from his exclamation as Shigure pointed out the flaw in the plan. At least he was able to say it and his cousin agreed. He couldn't not smile even as Shigure was glaring at him.

He stopped to think, really taxing every brain cell he had in attempt to figure out who else they could add. That woman from the mission wasn't very nice and didn't like them much...so no.

Rosie could be...but Hiro knew that she would be busy being the Takikage and all. At least he thought so. Other than those two he didn't really know any other Taki-nin.

He looked around, and spotted a girl off in the distance practically staring at them. The first thing he noticed was her headband on her belt, and he turned toward Shigure.

"Hey Shigure...what about her?" he asked, pointing back toward the red haired girl.

Shigure had the same thought process as Hiroki, though he knew it would never work. even though the makeshift team they were given in the mission was optional, it was only optional to Shigure. Both Kaoru and Rosalie-sama were both part of Team Phoenix Zero, the Takikage's own personal Team. The reason he knew this was just before that fateful mission, He had talked to Rosalie about joining that said team. But seeing the way Kaoru didnt like the "kid" part about him, it wouldn't be what he wanted.

Hiding this from Hiroki, he'd look over to what the boy was talking about. "Her?" He'd state, standing up at this time to get a better look. "Hmmm she looks to be around our age, but... what is she capable of... I wonder." Almost automatically Shigure began to access her physical prowess, her hair color, clothing choices, and measurements. The girl was still a little ways away to notice her eye color, or a great amount of her facial features.

"Ehhh... your the leader of the team, so you decide... Frankly I don't give a damn about who the third is, as long as they don't get in my way.... and if they die, they're replaceable." Shigure's cold-hearted assessment of the girl was something he did to anyone he didnt know, the woman included. All Shigure truly cared for was to become greater than his ancestors and prove his family wrong.

As Phy just stood there contemplating her motives and next move she saw one of the boys point to her. Her head went down slightly. 'Damnit....I gotta learn to be more stealth, why the hell did I hesitate? I know I'm freaking hungry and their just random boys....'she thought paying no head to their own headbands symbolizing that they are ninjas. Now was the time to think up yet another plan. Like hell she probably walk over to these two now, she couldn't make new friends if her life depended on it. Aside from the ninja academy, Phy really hadn't said a word to anyone. Her past was a deep dark secret, and for some reason she just never felt like she wanted to speak.

She started to walk closer to the two for some reason, her legs were numb and so was her lower left arm due to it being winter but she had nothing to keep her exactly warm other then the doku pot and the cloak. She kept her head down only glancing up now and then with her blue eyes, her scar not so visible while her bangs covered the left side of her face. She figured if she was gonna get any food either she have to just take it and run from a vendor.. find a cheaper one, or find someone else to pick pocket from. For these two boys already took notice to herpresence. Something not a lot ever did with her, she was usually just easily forgotten and ignored.

Hiro looked at his cousin dumbfounded for two reasons. The first being that Shigure just told him that he was the leader. The second was the complete indifference to the girl's well being, since he didn't know her yet. Then again Hiro wasn't sure if that would even change. He hoped that Shigure's thoughts weren't like that about him.

The young boy nodded though, and turned toward the girl who now was coming toward them. He raised his arm up in the air and waved toward her, his palm open, in an attempt to get her attention.

"Hey! C'mere for a minute can we talk?!" he asked her, making no attempt to hide anything right now.

Shigure look remained the same, his half-caring stare at the girl would be ever present. We needed a third, but for some reason, he wanted to test the girl, he didnt know why, but it seemed like a good idea to him at the time. Even though he was eager to see what she was worth, he'd decide against it at the current time. -Maybe later- He'd tell himself with a small smirk appearing on is face.

The young genin would hang back and let Hiroki do the talking for now and focus on analyzing the girl's stature and equipment.

Phy's attention was quickly turned to the boy with the black hair that called out to her, as she was walking closer. Her heart suddenly went into a panic mode, she didn't know exactly why usually shes not jumpy and wants to fight. For some reason she thinks they were on to what she thought to do in the first place with them. 'Shit...' she thought. 'Play...cool...and don't speak.' What she didn't realize she did was she actually had her hand already on one of her sais, an instinct of hers when she felt threatened. She would stand her ground her face stern not that one could see too much of her lower half right now aside from a small the collar starting to droop a bit. Her blue eyes however seemed to glow more of an intense look. But no words were said, she only merely got into a defensive stance.

Running was not exactly on her list of options right about now. She did that once when she left Rain. So many blamed her for her sister's death, so many looked up to her sister. She was the hero not Phy, though Phy in some way thinks that storm was no freak accident of weather. She constantly thought someone was out to get her, and that is why she thought a place she figured no one knew of her would be able to train her on how to fight back. She looked at both these guys as a threat as of right now.

As soon as he noticed her stance become defensive Hiroki stopped. He glanced quickly toward her hand resting on one of the sighs and held his hands up as a symbol of non-agression. There was a huge grin on his face, even while at risk of being stabbed by this girl.

"Wait, wait, wait! I just want to talk!" he said quickly trying to get her to calm down. "I'm Hiroki, and this is Shigure." Hiro motioned with his hand toward his cousin when he made the introductions.

He looked back to Shigure for some hope of moral support though it really didn't matter if he got any or not. The boy turned back to look at her and smiled even bigger (if that was even possible).

"Were waterfall ninja too!" he exclaimed, tapping the headband on his forehead. "And we wanted to know if you would like to make a team with us!"

He practically jumped while he said his last statement he was so happy. In fact it would take quite a bit for him to calm down. Or the girl might just agree. Hiroki also seemed like he might not give up on the matter either...

Shigure's bored look turned to that of retaliation if the woman went to harm him, but it seemed her gaze was staring at Hiroki. Shigure's face then turned to a smile, which could be taken as a sign of peace to Phyre, but it was actually for another reason. The young boy had visually seen them attacking each other, a fight to the death actually, as Shigure looked on at both, in amusement. Locking the image in his head for the time being, he'd nod when Hiroki spoke of his name and gave the girl the reason for the impromptu meeting.

"Its strictly by default, of course. You were the first to be seen by my overly optimistic Cousin here. But to survive in this world, I've come to the realization that we all need a team or support system. All three of us wont become any stronger if we act solely on selfishness. As much as I hate to admit it." Shigure's own mindset had went to the sole fact that he didnt have any friends, except his annoying cousin, but that didnt really count, he was family. "Feel free to decline, the choice is yours."

Phy took notice to Hiroki suddenly freaking out and not pursuing further actions of possible aggression. Thus leading Phyre to raise her right eyebrow. 'Someone wants to talk to me?' she thought, not exactly sure why anyone would just want to. She heard their names briefly but paid no heed not exactly caring at the moment for it would only lead to attachment. Less she knew, the less that could affect a heart that even she was unsure if it still existed or not. Phy stood there still loosening her grip on her sai, she didn't care where they were from...only thing she gathered so far is this kid sure as hell likes to see how big he could smile. 'Team? That was completely random...'

She then caught notice to the other one just smiling. 'Some sort of joke?' Her hand gripped her sai slightly tighter again. One question was slightly on her mind. Where on Earth was her voice? She could speak that much was true, but for whatever reason she just wouldn't. Though she wanted nothing more then to beat the guy with the brownish hair named Shigure up the most. Something about that smile and the way he talked just made her want to attack him. Though with Hiroki she couldn't figure out exactly what to make of him just yet other then weird. Phy's right hand reached up for the cloak's collar slowly as she pulled it down revealing the rest of her face.

A slight wind kicked up slight blowing the bangs that kept a noticeable scar hidden to now being visible for a few minutes. A scar for which she had yet to tell anyone other then those that pulled her from the water that fateful day exactly what it's story truly was. Phy's expression was still stern, undecided, not knowing what to make of this. These were the first of her age to even attempt to be nice ask her to do something. Sadly Phy had issues with trusting others, and would remain distant, now and then she looked like she would say something but nothing would come out.
