Appearance
Truth be told, Yuuta probably doesn’t look like he’s particularly strong at a first glance. The teen is a bit on the small and light side, and doesn’t really look as if he could hold his own in a fight. His muscles aren’t particularly well developed either, but at the very least he’s toned even if he is leaner than anything. If nothing else, it’s clear his power doesn’t lie in his physical capabilities. However that doesn’t mean he has a plain appearance, as there are a few things that can easily make him stick out among a crowd. Even though he’s quite short, his pure white head of hair makes him stick out quite a bit because the color isn’t exactly natural for youth.
His ghostly white hair is about neck length, the style generally being messy because he doesn’t put a whole lot of effort into his appearance. Another thing that makes him stand out is his eerily red eyes, the vibrant color being another thing that isn’t generally natural. Even though the color is generally associated with anger, Yuuta’s carefree and all-round happy demeanor still manages to shine through the odd color. And if his hair and eyes weren’t enough, he also has some strange birthmarks on his cheek and neck.
On the center of his left cheek, riding up from his hairline there’s a reddish narrow birthmark that comes to an end just below the center of his eye. It’s only about a centimeter and a half thick, and it almost resembles a burn scar. Around his neck there’s another mark of the same color, the unnatural pattern making it look as if he had been somehow scarred when he was younger even though he had just been born with the strange markings. Even though his muscles aren’t particularly impressive, his strange features are sometimes enough to keep the more superstitious ones on edge.
The young medic is a mere five feet and six inches tall, his growth somewhat stunted by his bloodline. While he isn’t old by any means, he doesn’t even look his age because being an Onigami has kept him from growing normally. Aside from the markings on his cheek and neck, there generally aren’t any scrapes or bruises on his skin because he can simply heal himself. Sure there are scars left behind sometimes, but none of them are particularly notable. Most are fading away anyway, as him healing himself has started to leave less scars than his body healing naturally.
Yuuta tends to be quite loud and borderline obnoxious, his voice able to carry quite far if he wants it to. He also isn’t seen remaining still for long either, the boy usually fiddling with something or other. Normally it’s just clipping and unclipping his weapon pouches, though sometimes he just plays with whatever he thinks is the most entertaining at the moment. His style of clothing isn’t anything too fancy, he generally just wears long sleeved shirts and pants with a jacket, and he can be seen in the same outfits quite a bit because he doesn’t own many clothes.

Personality
Restraint hardly seems to be in the white haired teen’s vocabulary, as he always seems so energetic and carefree. Yuuta tends to be loud and rambunctious most of the time, not shy by any means. He also is a friendly guy for the most part and enjoys making new friends, if they can handle his usual rambling. The boy certainly is talkative as well, usually not even seeming to care whether or not others actually respond to him. The more excited he gets the faster he talks too, which can make things a bit confusing because he is quite excitable.
While it’s usually quite easy for Yuuta to make new friends, it’s rare that he actually gets close to people. But when he does, he tends to become very attached to them, almost creepily so. He’s far more likely to hang around and pester them and can even come off as clingy because some feel suffocated by his presence… It doesn’t really help that he does like to cling as well, a fan of physical contact even if it’s not with his significant other. He likes hugging and dragging people around by their wrists, and generally doesn’t catch onto if it’s annoying someone unless they specifically state it.
A downside of him being easily excitable means that his other emotions are triggered quite easily as well, the boy practically wears his heart on his sleeves. However he’s quick to recover as well, there aren’t many things that can keep him in a slump or ecstatic for prolonged periods of time. It really doesn’t take much to get him down, but then it also is relatively easy to cheer him up as well. Yuuta normally doesn’t really try to keep this in check either, as his attempts had been failures in the past, more or less.
That’s not to say it’s impossible for him to focus on something if the situation calls for it, for instance if he winds up in a battle and needs to concentrate. The boy has the ability to temporarily shut down his emotions if he’s in a dire situation, but he can only pull it off when he’s under pressure. Instead of snapping and messing himself up with his usual indecision, he instead performs the best when he’s put under severe pressure and it lets him focus on the task at hand. Honestly if he wasn’t able to do it, he probably never would have pursued his career as a shinobi so valiantly.
Yuuta’s main drive is that he wants to help and protect people; it’s what keeps him going. That’s why he became a medic, and it’s why he’s serving his village. However, there is another large factor that affects his choices, and that’s Miwa Saito. He’s almost frighteningly devout and protective of this man, and it’s actually quite uncommon to see him without the other nearby somewhere. It’s almost as if he would go to the ends of the world for him, and honestly he just might. He’s head over heels in love with Miwa, which is quite obvious by how he sticks by the man’s side.

History
Yuuta was born within Ame no Kuni, but he never had the luxury of meeting his parents. His mother died at childbirth, and his father didn’t think he was capable of raising a son alone so the baby Onigami was left at an orphanage. He was born in a small village within the country, but his father dropped him off in Yokoburi because he thought his son would have a better chance at being picked up and raised by someone if he was somewhere more populated. Sure it was a nice thought, but Yuuta never was adopted and honestly he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
The main reason he was never adoptive was because the potential parents feared his red eyes and white hair and strange markings, they thought he looked too different to be a normal child. When he first realized that was the reason no one wanted him, it nearly crushed his little spirit because there wasn’t really anything he could do about it. However, there was another boy there as well who was passed over numerous times as well. As they grew up together, he was the best of friends with the other boy, Miwa Saito. Sure the other was quieter than him, but he didn’t mind in the least.
While he did have a lot of friends in the orphanage, a lot of them ended up leaving to live with a family. But Miwa was always by his side, and he grew incredibly attached to the dark haired boy. He could deal with the pain of not being wanted by any of the adults as long as his best friend was around, and he always played around and acted as if he wasn’t even bothered by any of it. However, one day it felt as if the little family he built for himself was suddenly torn apart at the seams when Miwa was finally adopted when they were both fifteen. At first he tried to plead to not let Miwa be taken away, but he ended up getting grounded up in the room he shared with other children while the process was carried out.
The night after his closest friend was taken away from him he didn’t get an ounce of sleep. The next day he wasn’t nearly as energetic as he usually was either, and not just because of his lack of sleep. Yuuta was just sitting out on the steps of the orphanage leaning against the railing as he stared down at his knees, which he had hugged tightly to his chest. All he could think about was how badly he just wanted to be with Miwa again, about how he just wanted to see the other. Yuuta didn’t even notice he was crying again, but after a few minutes of him being in that state there sure as hell was something that caught his attention.
At first the white haired boy’s eyes dimly glowed red, before suddenly becoming bright as he managed to unlock his doujutsu and was able to clearly see the world around him in 360 degrees. At first it made him panic because he didn’t know what was happening, but almost immediately his attention focused in on a figure that was standing just a few feet down the street from him. Yuuta shot up to his feet and the glowing dimed down as his gaze focused in on Miwa, a large grin pulling at his lips as he ran over and tackle hugged his friend. Still he was crying as he clung to the other boy, having been afraid that they would never meet again. And that moment was when they shared their first kiss as Yuuta melted into Miwa’s hold.
The weeks after that seemed like a blur with how fast they moved, the two of them ending up running away from the capital city to make sure that they would continue living their lives together. They had the vague idea of finding Amegakure in mind so they could make their living as shinobi, though it did take them quite a while to actually gain entrance to the village and join the academy. While they were a bit older than the average student, they each had special skills that the village wished to hone and their skill with chakra got them through the academy quite quickly as well.
After they were officially Genin, Yuuta spent a lot of his time at the hospital training how to be a medical shinobi, and he practiced the strange ability he discovered to see everything around him as well. While the two of them didn’t make a whole lot of money and settled in an abandoned apartment building in the slums, he never complained. As long as he was with Miwa, he was happy.
