Since Vi was nowhere in sight, Tarah decided to try and copy her sister’s technique. She surged chakra through the soles of her feet, then walked up the tallest tree at her side. While doing so, she craned her neck to look around during her ascension. Unfortunately for her, it was difficult to get any precise visual, and her goggle was no help. She definitely needed a zooming feature. until then, she jumped towards the nearest speck of white.

Vi was a bit confused about where to find her sister. She activated her soul sight to spot all the nearest energy signatures, but the wildlife and vegetation provided soul to block her search. Sighing to herself, The Nova walked more slowly. She looked much more carefully for the herb they were searching for, while also paying attention to any sound that Tarah might make. If she couldn’t find the herb, she may find Tarah’s attempts to look for it.

Description: The eucalyptus tree is quite tall; it can grow up to 49 feet in height, but most trees range between 26 to 36 feet. The shrubs are usually 2.9 feet in height. Eucalyptus leaves contain oil glands which gives it a glossy look. The oil has to be extracted from the leaves and chilled. Acts as a disinfectant, can disolve slime in the nose, throat, and lungs within 1d4 rounds, heals catarrhal colds and is often used as asthma medicine. Herb consists 64 doses.
Limit: Must know Herbal Knowledge for Forest or Swamp Regions. 60% chance of finding.

Vi spotted Tarah as last. They rejoined, and compared all the herbs they found.

”Sacks are full, more or less. You wana go for some biggies before we run out of time?” Vi asked.

Tarah nodded.

Together, the two girls made their way to the top of the forest. Tarah looked towards the East. They were searching for an extremely large tree, called an eucalyptus. Most of the trees were equally large, so she had to look for the glossy leaves that indicated its oily texture. When nothing was immediately seen, she put on her mono-goggle and jumped through the treetops. She felt for any oily substance she might brush by.

Vi went towards the North. She searched through the branches instead of the leaves. She didn’t want to get any of the poisonous rashes that would be transferred from the leaves. Her jet propulsion allowed for a smooth flight, but she didn’t let the flames touch any bark. If she did find the tree, the flames would surely ignite it and burn it down. It certainly wouldn’t be worth anything to anyone in that sort of condition.

Happy with her find, Vi slid down to the root of the tree, then called out for her sister to join her. She made sure to stand away from both the bark and the glossy leaves that had fallen to earth. While she made note of the location, Vi also looked around for any other similarly textured lumber, in hopes of getting two in similar locations. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, even if this one didn’t have apples/

Tarah cursed to herself as she heard about The Nova’s luck with finding the tree. She had hoped to win the race to this herb, but there wasn’t much she could do about it. She swiftly turned and hopped towards Vi, but still looked for signs of glossy leaves on her way. If she could manage to locate the tree before she met up with her sister, it would certainly make it more of a tie and an outright loss.

Tarah reviewed the memories of the Saint, and came up with what she believed to be the most profitable herb she could find in the forests. When she reached the forest, she split her soul and left Vi by the edge. She wasn't going to search with her sister this time, she's rather just take her time. Vi was released to gather workers that could help with bringing in the spanish nut trees after Tarah located them.

Tarah strolled through the dense region. She looked towards all the largest trees. The Spanish nut was huge, bigger than most trees, so she'd be able to identify one as soon as she saw the thickness or height. That said, it was difficult to tell all the different trees apart. From a distance, they all didn't look that different. Plus a regular tree wasn't easy to identify with her monogoggles.

No matter how hard you searched, you could not find the tree which was so common. Looks like you would have to find another piece of forest to continue your search...

Tarah stepped over a few thick roots, but wasn't able to find the tree she was searching for. She burnt the side of a nearby tree with a small blast of fire to mark her place, then moved on to another section of the forest. Tarah looked towards the ground for any fallen nuts, which may help to indicate the tree's location. Her focus was interrupted a few times when she tripped over roots buried beneath leaves. The trees still all looked the same, which explained why it was so difficult to locate her desired flora.

After making a note of the item's location, Tarah moved on to another sector of the forest. She looked back up this time, scanning the leaves above for the telltale signs of nuts. Since she knew critters may eat from the tree, she made sure to turn on her soul sight and look for small spirits. In a gathering of animals was concentrated on a particular branch, it was sure to be a good food source. Animals liked nuts, as far as Tarah knew.

Tarah left the animals to their tree after keeping the location in mind. Then she leapt up to the forest treetops. She had a general idea of what the top of the Spanish Nut tree looked liked now, so she looked all around the surrounding leaves for some familiar characteristics. When she spotted something that looked about right, Tarah flew through the air towards what she suspected was another tree. Hopefully the Spanish Tree was unique enough to be located in this manner...

Tarah dropped herself down from the nutty branches, and landed gracefully on the messy floor below. She twirled one of the Spanish Nut leaves in her hand, then strolled towards another part of the forest. She was feeling a bit lazy now, so she settled for matching the leaf against others on the forest ground. If she could find some with the same shape, texture, and color, it would probably indicate yet another tree for her.

Having exhausted the forest she was searching through, Tarah left the treeline and crossed the grasslands towards another forest in the distance. To decrease her travel time, she shot into the air with a blast of violet flames. Her landing was smooth, and right at the edge of the newest forest. Tarah looked across the new treeline, seeing if any Spanish Nuts were right at the border of her new prowling area.

For some time now, there had been a traveling unit comprised of one entity within the forests that the kunoichi gatherer had searched in. He was a lithesome mass: he wore black robes and shielded his visage by way of an Oni mask... at his back lay a gray katana and several slots of hira-shuriken. The wandering man kept to the shadows when he could as he came into the vicinity of the hunting Tarah. He was a normal man, one without the resources of the spirit [chakra] yet he boasted tremendous speed and strength far greater than the average human. 

His steed was black as his robes and about three times bigger than himself; it held bags of looted items and weaponry which he managed to pilfer from other travelers. Upon dismounting his companion [which he did some meters off and tied to a tree within the thicket], he approached Tarah with his gruesome guise, his hand resting on the tsuka of his cherished blade. 

"What's in your pockets, girl?" he asked snidely. He had no idea what she was doing out here by herself, nor did he know what sort of powers she possessed. All he cared for was what she held in her inventory--and perhaps, what she had found within the forest.
