Oh fantastic, a raider. Of all the times for this to happen.

Tarah raised her empty hands into the air, not that she was surrendering. It was a playact meant to convince the foul bandit to lower his guard around her. She wasn't wearing her KMP uniform or any indication that she was a shinobi. By all appearances, she was a young girl out walking in the woods. Her violet skirt fluttered in the light breeze as she took a small step back away from the man.

Vi was still away, gathering workers for all the Spanish Nuts. She wouldn't be any help in this situation, as Tarah had no method of calling out to her soul sister. Since the two split apart barely an hour ago, only half of Tarah's chakra and soul remained in her body. An unfortunate handicap.

The lone girl carefully inspected the threat. She ignored the raider's face since it was blocked out by the Oni Mask. Most of her focus was directed towards the man's hand, which rested upon a gray katana.

A sword user... that meant he would be difficult to approach with taijutsu.

Tarah glanced towards the trees that surrounded them, making a small note of every opening and obstruction. Since she had just entered this new forest, the area wasn't too thick with lumber. There were half a dozen large trees within ten meters, as well as a few small shrubs.

"I only have a single item in my possession," said Tarah, "the location of several Spanish Nut trees. I'm unsure if that would interest you, sir."

Description: With a great show of will the user rips their soul in half effectively making a copy of themselves. The duration of this technique is 4 hours per class level. By performing this technique the user makes a full size copy of themselves. This copy is the user as much as the user is a copy of it. The user takes their chakra and splits it in half. This means that the user must now work with half of their energy, and half of the capabilities when dealing with Soulcaster techniques. The same can be said with the copy. At any time one of the copies can dismiss the other no matter what the range may be. If one is dismissed or if they are killed it does not bring back the chakra or energy, however the user will know. If one is killed the other copy is stunned for 1 round. If dismissed or killed any extra items they are carrying drops to the ground as the copy vanishes.

He would take a single step closer as Tarah opted to retreat backwards. He was seasoned in his occupation and knew well enough to not take anyone lightly - not even a female who appeared harmless visibly. The man's cunning would hopefully land him a handful of bosom hair, and it is here that he began his charade:

"Bring the item of which you speak to me and all will be well... my steed does enjoy the Spanish Nut more than anything. It would be a fair trade for... your life." Intimidation wasn't his strong suit, but he worked with what he could. He had the sword, he was the man. Arrogance ran in copious amounts within the raider's blood, but he was definitely no fool. It was he that wished to have the true upper hand in the situation; it was his large steed that would enjoy the Spanish Nuts! Behind his grotesque mask, he smiled wickedly as he awaited the retrieval of the aforementioned item. Yoshitoki removed his hand from the hilt of his katana, but kept primed in case he had to unsheathe it; in the same instant, his right hand twitched slightly, ever so eager to latch on to several four-pronged ninja stars to dispose of the girl.

The raider was attempt to threaten her life, apparently. He was rather dull about the whole affair, but Tarah still took offense. She didn't like attempts on her life, be they bark or bite.

So, she'll have to bite first.

Tarah sighed. "It's not that kind of object. I know where they are, but that is not in a physical form."

While she spoke, chakra gathered around her left index finger. The chakra was in two different sets. The first was for her attack, and the second was to make that attack invisible to the naked eye. It took only a moment to prepare, then she subtly lowered her charged finger so it pointed towards the masked man. She also slightly lowered her other fingers, so that the movement wasn't out of place.

At the same time, the young lady turned her head towards the edge of the forest to her right.

"I just came out from that forest over in the distance," she said, "there are a few trees waiting there that I can show you, if you follow me."

While Tarah was still speaking, an invisible fire shot out from her fingertip. The unseen blaze was in the form of a flowing stream. It streaked through the air, attempting reach and burn the raider. The blaze was as large as a human torso, and Tarah was aiming it right at the bandit's chest.

Effect: User shoots a stream of fire from their fingertips, palms, fists or legs towards the target.

Drawback: Depends on the user's knowledge within Hinote Enmu (Fire Haze) depends on the strength of the technique.
Description: When the user throws an attack with their fingertips, palms, fists or legs, they focus the inner heat within their body allowing chakra to pump through. When the user is ready they extend out their ligament out in a straight line towards what they are trying to aim at. As the flame is forced out it is shot into a large stream towards the opponent. Depending on the user's knowledge and capability the stream has a different size. When first learned the stream is capable of being shot out into the distance of three meters with the width of the user's hand. When the user learns the "B" rank version this technique is capable of being shot out within the distance of nine meters with a width of a human head. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this technique the distance is increased up to eighteen meters with a capability of launching with the width of a human torso.

Shisseki-Kouen (Disappearance Flame)

Effect: Certain masters of Hinote-Kobushi are able to turn their flames into the famous invisible flame.

Drawback: Will not work with Weapon fighting styles. User must add extra amount of chakra, which is equal to that of "B" rank for every time they perform a Fire Technique.
Description: There are certain types of fires depending on chemical changes may create an invisible flame. Without the usage of these types of high toxicating chemicals, a user is able to create an invisible flame. With this technique, the user is able to take the knowledge they have learned in the art of Hinote-Kobushi, and perform what is needed to create the invisible flame.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Enten Kobushi - 炎天 - Scorching Sun Fist. Must have Mastered Hinote-Kobushi. Must know Karafuru Chienji (Prismatic Change).

His guard had never been lowered, it had been set, in a sense, into a more passive state, thus enabling him to appear deterred from aggression. Yet that was hardly the case. It was truly her life that he sought, and as she began to aid him in his quest of finding the Spanish Nuts for Kuroji, he would inevitably strike. Tarah turned her head toward the right as she began her spiel of the location of the coveted nuts; it was in this moment that he opted to utilize his Body Flicker Arc, towards her left, placing him out of her sight and into her blind spot more or less. During his alactrious gait, some invisible heat wave passed him and melted the right side of his Oni mask off. He grimaced from the impressive heat and noted that the girl did in fact possess some spiritual prowess. He frowned but would not be so easily discouraged from his sought after quest. The blast tore through the trees that had lain at his back in a blast of flame [which could be noted by its heat and combustion despite its invisibility].

In his current situation, he felt that he held the upper hand, now that he was out of her line of vision. A volley [fifteen] of hira-shuriken ripped through the air at her left side, seeking out any portion of her body that they could pierce as Yoshitoki grabbed the hilt of his weapon. 

"I had you mistaken for a regular human like myself.." he said after his weaponry closed in on their target. He was an assassin and quick, too, regardless of his spiritual deficiency; now aware of Tarah's spiritual capabilities, he wished to close in on her had his shuriken hit their mark. Those nuts would become his alone to have, or he would die trying. 

ooc: basically, i shunshin'd as you turned your head to the right, and threw shuriken at you. i'm about 8 meters from you, to your left. shunshin happened as you turned your head, and even at how fast he moved, the flames still burned through his mask.

Missed... where did he go?

A voice suddenly screamed out in Tarah's head, urging her to dodge backwards. She could feel an attack coming at her from the left, so her body urged her to avoid the strike. The girl pushed her feet forward to launch her body back. She was able to avoid most of the shuriken volley, but not all.

Tarah hadn't counted on the raider being able to use instantaneous movement, so her reaction was comparatively sluggish. Her attempt to be discrete had left her acting weaker than she was. Two shurikens hug into her left side. One in her stomach and one in her thigh. Her body refused to bleed out, so the wounds weren't too serious, but she still winced from the pain for a brief moment.

Tarah narrowed her eyes as she gazed upon her attacker.

Violet flames suddenly burst into life around Tarah as her attacker approached. She didn't wish to burn the forest down, so she localized the blaze with its weaker version. Everything within three meters of Tarah would be consumed by the violet fire.

The young lady was using the violet flames as more of a cover than an attack. Bright violet colors would mask her movements, as well as damage her surroundings. The fire was weak in comparison to her first attack, and she had various protections from her own flame. While the violet flame scorched the atmosphere, Tarah moved through it with her own instantaneous movement.

Tarah would arc behind her opponent, just like how he had previously moved into her own blind spot. Once finished, she would find herself two meters behind the man, if the man didn't already disappear with a different shunshin.

Since she knew the man could use instantaneous movement, Tarah would focus on his feet if she successfully ended up behind him. She was prepared to follow the man if he sped away, using her counter shunshin to keep him in her range.

If he man didn't run away, and if she was behind him as she desired, Tarah's index fingers would be pointed at the raider. Violet fireballs, the size of human heads, would fly from her fingertips and at the man's back.

Description: Some human bloodlines trace their linage back to a grendle, an offspring born of troll and human parentage. Living humans with this racial trait are immune to bleeding out. If they are also "C" Class they heal Minor damage per 15 rounds. If they "A" Class and they lose a limb, an organ, or any other body part, once per day the user's severed body members (fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms, legs, tails, broken bones, and ruined organs grow back. The physical regeneration is complete in 1 round if the severed members are present and touching the creature. It takes 15 rounds otherwise. Regenerate also heals Serious Damage within 15 rounds, and rids the subject of exhaustion and/or fatigue. It has no effect on nonliving creatures (including undead). This trait replaces 2 Freebies..

Effect: Certain masters of Hinote-Kobushi are able to turn their flames into any prism color that they wish.

Description: Not exactly a "useful" technique in power, however this type of technique does one thing that no other fire user may do, that is change the spectrum, the color of the flame. Different colors allow users to add uniqueness within their performance of Hinote-Kobushi. The Flames do not add more heat, or decrease heat, all it does is to just simply change the color. The colors a user may chose from is the Seven Prism Colors found when light hits a prism. These colors are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Yes, a user may change the colors within these ranges however; the color that changes can only be changed by adding or subtracting another color within the Seven Colors. This means no Pink, no Black, Brown, Gray, or White colors. Therefore, a user is able to create a Blue-Green colored flame, a Red-Orange Flame, and so on and so forth.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Enten Kobushi - 炎天 - Scorching Sun Fist. Must have Mastered Hinote-Kobushi.

Enkai (Flame Commandment)

Effect: The user amasses a large amount of flames around his body in preparation for an attack.

Drawback: Depends on the user's knowledge within Enkai (Flame Commandment) depends on the strength of the technique.
Description: Picture, Picture The user forces their anger, or their passion out, pushing their chakra out. The user creates a mass amount of large flames around their body as both a temporary shield for an amount of one movement as well as preparation for other more important techniques. The flames shoot around the user's body in a vast distance for a brief moment. When the user first learns this technique the mass of large amount of flames is shot around the body within the distance of three meters as it covers the height of the user's body. The flames appear as just a simple spiral of flame. When the user learns the more advanced version this technique pushes off into a fine distance of ten meters radius around the user's body. The flames are shot down along the ground in a rippling effect as this covers the feet until it reaches the very end in which covers twice amount of the user's body in height.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Enten Kobushi - 炎天 - Scorching Sun Fist.

Hinotegan (Fire Gun)

Effect: Pointing their index and middle fingers towards the target as they release balls of fire towards the targets.

Drawback: Depends on the user's knowledge within Higan (Fire Gun) depends on the strength of the technique.
Description: The user takes in deep breathes bringing their inner flame to the tips of the fingers. This technique can be performed either in a punching form, or by extending their hands out to the target. As they exhale out the user sharply pushes his hand a few inches as balls of flames is shot out towards the targets at crossbow speed. Depending on the user's knowledge and capability the balls of fire are shot with a different size. When first learned the ball size of the fireballs are that of the index and middle finger. When the user learns the "B" rank version this technique is capable of being shot out within the size of the human fist. When the user learns the "A" rank version this technique is capable of being shot out within the size of the human head.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Enten Kobushi - 炎天 - Scorching Sun Fist. Must know Hinotama (Fireball). Must know Hinoteheki (Fire Burst)

Sekondo Nen (Second Sense)

Effect: The brawler depending on the rank of the technique the user is capable of reacting through subconscious mind against attacks against the user in different manners such as being flanked, and from behind. This technique makes the brawler incapable of being surprise attacked.

Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Brawler is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. If an opponent comes to a Brawler at a bar, and attacks with a sword, or a club, the brawler gains the urge to dodge to the left, or to the right, where they are capable of reacting before the action is completed. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Ko (Body Flicker Technique - Arc)

Buttoi Jouhi (Thick Skin)

Effect: An elemental resistance towards the body as the body gains a certain style of tough skin, as the bones grew tougher, the muscles grew tougher along the whole body to where elemental techniques are numbed down slightly.
Special: ---
Drawback: They must have endured great pain before hand. Things such as broken bones, broken ribs, ripped muscles along the body. If there was nothing that has happened, no broken bones within learning other techniques, if the Brawler was never harmed, then this does not occur. This technique only resists to Elemental techniques. If the technique slashes, and pierces it still goes through.
Description: Ever wondered why a man could not drown, or someone being execution by electricity and yet still being alive. This is where this technique comes into play. This technique enables the Brawler the capability of withstanding elemental attacks as their body becomes greatly adaptable towards on coming attacks. When the user learns this technique the user is capable of withstanding "S" Rank Elemental attacks reducing the power down by one rank. It is capable of reducing "A" Rank techniques 1.2 times reduced, "B" Rank techniques down to 1.4 times reduced, "C" Rank techniques down to 1.6 times reduced and "D" Rank techniques 1.8 times reduced.
Limit: Must have mastered Kentoushi by going into five hundred training points into it. Automatic after five hundred training points.

Heat Mastery
Rank: B
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to be around and work with very intense heats, helping by preventing burns and singes.
Special: User gains automatically when dealing with fire techniques.
Drawback: Requires dedication to the path of fire techniques.
Description: At this stage in the user’s use of fire jutsu, they have worked with and probably been burned and signed with their own jutsu for a long while. They have a deep understanding on the ways to manipulate fire and take that understanding to a new level. This level of use allows the user to perform and master the use of fire jutsu without worrying about the minor burns and singes that can easily stack up in heavy combat.
Limit: Automatically gained once the user has knowledge of 500 TP of Fire Release techniques.

He had hit his mark, but only by a minuscule margin of what he sought. With minimal effort, he shot towards her once more with a Shunshin - Oshi, but not before she displaced herself with her own variation of the Body Flicker. Amethyst flames consumed her being in her flight towards him, which instantly made him assume that she was a Katon user; that, and the fact that she had just prior burned down a tree with a ghost flame. People with spiritual abilities didn't surprise Yoshi, they just made him aggravated that he himself could not harness the powers of chakra. As he came to a halt where the female was once positioned, he turned to face her and an attack that seemed hellbent on eating his flesh away. She had indeed been a coy kunoichi. In an act of haste, he would reverse the rotation of his body flicker and leave behind an after image of himself, which, in due time, would take the attack in lieu of he. This usage of the Zanzou was to have the girl think that he hadn't been swift enough to dodge her Hinotegan, which he did in fact manage to dodge just in the nick of time.

His new position was that of behind Tarah with his hand on his hilt, ready to deal a vicious blow. He was a rogue assassin who had been thoroughly trained in the art of Flash Arms and would from there gather his weapon from its sheathe to let loose the Upper Slash of the Busousen sword's style. This, of course, would be somewhat fatal and would launch her into the air if his weapon could cut through the flames that protected Tarah, which caused Yoshi to squint from their lurid heat and light. 

ooc: Decisive Critical is only in effect if Tarah did/does not move, which I am assuming would happen with the counter you seek to use. But if not, you are hit with the Upper Slash and we move from there.

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.

Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Zanzō (Body Flicker Technique - Remaining Image)

Effect: This technique is the basic concept of Busōsen (Arms Flash) which deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword.

Drawback: Missing the strike could result in the user being completely vulnerable.
Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. However, the concentration of such a quick strike is evident; upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. This technique may be performed with a knockback attack, knocking an opponent into the distance of 10 meters into a prone position.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash).

Keihatsu Ryuu: Appā Surasshu (Upper Slash)

Description: Picture The user stands in Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in an upward vertical attacking motion across the body. This attack is able to knock an opponent upwards to 4 meters into the air. The unsheathing takes no movements as it is a blinding strike dedicated to knock an opponent into the air at blinding speeds. Upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so.

As expected, the man had moved. Although he had left behind a shadow of his position, it was an illusion easily shattered as it didn't react to Tarah's fireballs.

Since the girl had kept an eye on the man's footing, she recognized and followed with her own shunshin. Since the raider didn't appear in her vision again, that meant he was attempting to move into her blind spot once more.

With her counter shunshin, in the form of another shunshin arc, Tarah moved behind her position. In an attempt to neutralize the effectiveness of her enemy's shunshin, she would follow and end up behind him once again.

As expected, the bandit slashed at where Tarah stood. It was a quick attack, and would have done great harm if Tarah had not anticipated the movement.

Behind and behind again, how fun.

The man was relying a lot on his movement and quick attacks, so Tarah focused once more on his footing. Should he try to move in her blind spot again, she would merely counter. Her shunshin was well trained, capable of more than a dozen uses, it was a battle of attrition, almost.

But it was getting tiresome.

Tarah, now within melee range of her opponent, would throw a powerful punch towards his spine. She made sure to strike quickly, while the man was still moving with his blade. If her punch wasn't dodged, it would have a decent chance of cracking through the raider's spine.

Not only that, but Tarah's fist would also release a terrifying torrent of violet flames.

If the iron fist met its mark, the raider would be knocked with enough force to fly forty meters through the air. That amount of force would definitely be deadly if he slammed into one of the plentiful trees.

The fire that burst from Tarah's fist was beyond even that. It had the strength to pierce even the sturdiest of ships, and would probably destroy the man's body if the attack landed.

They say a Brawler's punch is like being smacked by a bull and that is where these power attacks come to play. Those who get hit by a Brawler's Iron Fist feel a knock back effect depending on the user's class.

Drawback: The user is only capable of performing this attack so many times per day depending on how many times the user knows this technique as well as the Class level of the user.
Description: When the user first learns this technique they are capable of performing this technique a total of five times per day as well as any other technique that is in conjunction of the Iron Fist. Every time this technique is learned the user is capable of performing this technique as well other techniques into conjunction one more time. This means that if a user learns this technique twice they are capable of performing this technique a total of six times. Depending on how well and how strong the user is by Class, the user is capable of performing the technique with devastating power. The higher the class is the more devastating the attack will be creating a more sufficient way of breaking one's bones.

Description: Picture The Infamous Hinoteken (Fire Fist) is one of the ultimate Flame techniques as it allows the user capabilities to take down ships if needed. One of the most pinnacle techniques within the Hinote-Kobushi form. The user takes the concept of Hinote Enmu (Fire Haze) and Higan (Fire Gun) placing them both together creating a more fierce technique. With Hinoteken (Fire Fist) the user is capable of forcing a flame with such power and intensity to where it is capable of plowing through ships giving a burning effect. When the user wishes to bring out the flame they exhale out focusing their inner flame along the palm of their hand forcing a large column of fire towards their target. When first learned the column is capable of being shot out into the distance of nine meters with the width of the user's torso. When the user learns the "B" rank version this technique is capable of being shot out within the distance of eighteen meters with a width of a human body. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this technique the distance is increased up to thirty-two meters with a capability of launching with the width of a two human bodies.

Such speed. The man had been overly impressed by Tarah's speed and utliization of the Shunshin technique; so much so, that it instilled fear into him--the thought of someone being capable of moving faster than his Flash Arms. Her use of the counter Shunshin was perfect in every aspect, and her following attack would decided the battle between kunoichi and bandit right then and there.

The power behind her Taijutsu attack left his spine rippling with pain; the amount of energy put into her attack caused his body to curve backwards as he flew through the air towards a cluster of trees. The flame that accompanied her fist sent intense pain through his body as it became engulfed in her fiery essence. His body would smack against a tree and through several others before skidding through the dirt into some mangled brook. Luckily, nothing caught on fire in Tarah's brutal attack but Yoshitoki. His body lay charred face down at the cusp of the small brook as a terrifying neigh came from behind Tarah. It was his steed, Kuroji.

Having sensed its owner in peril, Kuroji took it upon himself to relinquish the tethers to the tree that bound him and sprinted at Tarah in a crazed speed. If anything, the beast would deliver a mighty leaping-tackle to the kunoichi had she not moved from her position. Kuroji would then disregard her and sprint off into the distance as he had become freed from his master. During his attack-escape, a small sized Field Pack would drop somewhere near the dead body of Yoshi. If she chose to go over and retrieve the bag, she would find it to be home to 10 slots of kunai, 5 fragmentation grenades, a set of senbon, a local map, and a book on Herbalism Studies. Flipping through the Herbalism book, one would find a Picture Book full of paintings of the Spanish Nut--peculiar. The remaining 4^1/2 slots held nothing but air, but what a great find it would be in her victory over the raider.

Description: Taking a five meter head start, the user leaps off the floor and throws their body at the target of their choice. Throwing their self causes the user a slight pain, but they sustain no real damage in the collision.

What the hell...

Tarah would go wide eyed as she sensed an incoming attack from behind. She hurled herself to the side, ready to fight against whatever other raiders were allied with this one.

Of course, it was just a horse.

Which ran away shortly after.

Right then. Tarah shrugged to herself at the unexpected animal attack, then went over to inspect the body of the fallen bandit. She found herself with a pack full of useful items, and swung it over her shoulder.

Unfortunately her attack seemed to destory the sword, so she couldn't collect that.

The new forest she stumbled in was also currently burning to the ground due to all her various fire attacks. There would be no Spanish Nuts to gain in this forest, but at least the others were safe in her original searching spot.

Having collecting the items and knowing where a few Spanish Herb trees were, Tarah left the area.

Speaking of, it seemed like the raider had an unhealthy obsession with Spanish Nuts. There was a picture book dedicated to it among the collected items. What a coincedence.

Description: With a great show of will the user rips their soul in half effectively making a copy of themselves. The duration of this technique is 4 hours per class level. By performing this technique the user makes a full size copy of themselves. This copy is the user as much as the user is a copy of it. The user takes their chakra and splits it in half. This means that the user must now work with half of their energy, and half of the capabilities when dealing with Soulcaster techniques. The same can be said with the copy. At any time one of the copies can dismiss the other no matter what the range may be. If one is dismissed or if they are killed it does not bring back the chakra or energy, however the user will know. If one is killed the other copy is stunned for 1 round. If dismissed or killed any extra items they are carrying drops to the ground as the copy vanishes.

Tarah had returned to the forests of the Fire Country. She wore her two melody arms, her left had shock, and her right had cryo. Her mono-goggle covered her left eye. A disruptor was hidden in a right hip-pocket on her KMP uniform. A pair of half-greaves covered her shins.

She was out trying to find more Spanish Nut trees. She had a picture book of the large herb tucked into the bag she brought along. It was an easy reference to remind herself of what it looked like. She was a new forest, so there were plenty of trees to go through in order to find her promised herb. However, due to the incoming winter season, nuts were hard to spot. Most of the animals had claim whatever had fallen to the ground, so Tarah had to look up at the leaves.

A soul split clone, with the personality of Vi Gesic, followed behind Tarah. She kept about two dozen meters away, inspecting trees that were more off to the side. Vi didn't have any gauntlets on, so she was able to feel the textures of bark and leaves. She had remembered the features of the Spanish Nut, and was going off her memory. She approached one of the larger trees in the area, and felt the peeling lumber for anything recognizable.

Tarah picked and placed a berry in her mouth as she walked through the forest. Her gauntlet froze the berry with its cryo enhancement, which made it nice and crunchy. While walking, she looked up with her mono-goggle set to its thermal lens, so that she could locate any foraging animals that might lead to the Spanish Herb. It was unlikely, but any animals that were late to hibernate may go up to the trees for surplus food.

Vi found the largest tree in the nearby area, and walked up it with her chakra rooting technique. Her augmented feet gripped the crunchy bark while she advanced. The additional height gave her a decent view of the surroundings, and helped her with locating proper leaf colors and shapes. The nuts of the herb would also be pretty noticeable at this height. When she finished inspecting on side of the forest, she walked around the tree to get a view of the other side.
