Wind, to River, to Fire [Traveling & Training]

The Wind country was large; there was absolutely no doubt about that, making traveling a lot harder than in smaller nations. “Oh, what I’d give to be a part of the Rain Country, so small…” Ryo said as he fixed the gourd on his back, getting ready to depart toward the River Country. The River and Rain both bordered on the Wind and Fire Nations, and Ryo needed to get to the Fire Nation so that he could wreak havoc upon the Leaf Ninja. He had chosen to go through the River Country and into the Fire Nation, heading for the Hidden Leaf Village. There would be no breaks made on the way there to stop or rest of any kind unless Ryo encountered an enemy ninja. He doubted he would run into anybody within the rest of the Wind country, or even in the River Country.

Heading outside from his small little hut, Ryo made sure everything was locked up real tight. He turned and stood there, staring at the sand on the floor. “Well, time to go,” and with that little side comment, the sand ninja took off into a full sprint. About halfway to the River Country he started to sweat heavily from his face. The sun was beating down on him, forcing him to grow tired, but there would be no resting. He soon saw the border of the Wind-River countries. An actual smile passed across his face at this. “Finally. But I am only three-fourths of the way there. I still need to get into the Fire Nation itself…”

Slowing his pace down more so that he could catch his breath, Ryo came closer and closer to the border of the River Country. Sweat poured off his brow, cheeks, and chin in big clumps. They splashed on the sand and left marks there. The sand itself was very hot, but Ryo had grown used to this since he had lived in the Sand Village and Wind Country his entire life. His feet continued to run and bring him closer and closer to his destination, but Ryo was actually feeling like passing out. That faint feeling that had overcome him in training so many times was no back as he continued to run. “But this time it’s stronger… Something isn’t right…”

But the sand ninja could not stop; he was unable to just walk. For some odd reason Ryo just kept going. His mind wanted him to stop, but his legs wanted him to go, and his legs were the pieces controlling his body at the moment. He had never felt this before… Something wasn’t right… But he couldn’t tell what it was. Ryo reached the River Country where he immediately collapsed onto his hands and knees. A single man came over to him, extending his arms to help Ryo up. Ryo put his right palm up, “Don’t even think about touching me man… You don’t want to do that, trust me…” That heavy feeling inside of his head and chest now faded, leaving Ryo inside the River Country on his knees.

Looking toward the sky, the sand ninja now brought himself to his feet. The man looked at him, then glanced at his Sand Village headband. “Sand village…” The man chuckled. Ryo shoved past him, spitting by his feet as he did so. “Onto the Fire Nation…”

With the gourd upon his back and the feeling of weariness starting to fade, Ryo walked around the town in this strange country. He had never been outside the Wind Country, so going to this place was a huge step for him. He had just heard stories and read things about the Leaf Ninja and it only possessed him to go there and see how they worked. A battle would surely be at hand there, and he could only hope that he would have a worthy adversary. Ryo smirked at the thought of it. He hadn’t really been in a fight before, but he had strength in his Jutsus. He needed more offensive ones, but he could train more when he got to the Leaf Village.

Walking through this small village, Ryo spotted many things. There were children playing in the roads and adults doing daily routines. There weren’t many, if any at all, ninjas in this country. “You can’t play you little freak!” The shouting made Ryo turn and look. There were six little kids surrounding one little kid. Ryo’s chest and mind began to tremble again, like when he was unable to stop running before. He was brought down to his knees as a deafening ring sounded through his head. The kids took no notice to him. Ryo continued to watch the kids tease the so-called ‘loser,’ sick to his bones. He tried to stand up and get the gourd off of his back, but he was unable to move again. His eyes slammed shot as he drove his face into the dirt.

“How come all the other kids have parents?” Ryo asked, the gourd on the bed at his side. “I don’t have any. How come they do, but I don’t?” The man in front of Ryo had a smile locked onto his face as he kneeled in front of the mere five-year-old. Ryo looked at him with giant, concerned eyes. His parents had vanished, but all the other kids had guardians.

“Sometimes, for unknown reasons, there just aren’t any parents for some kids.” The man said, smiling. They were clearly in a foster home or some type of adoption agency. There were bunk-beds in the room, but only Ryo and the other man was present. Nobody wanted to hang around Ryo. The man had to because he was one of the caretakers of the place.

“They only hold you back… I don’t want any parents. I want to be by myself so that I can be the strongest I can be!” Ryo said, patting the gourd. “Who needs ‘em?”

“Others make you stronger, Ryo. You should know that…”

Ryo shrugged. “I don’t need anyone…”

The feeling went away, and Ryo was able to move again. He jumped to his feet and took off running toward the border. He knew it couldn’t be that far away and this time, though he was sweating and in pain, he didn’t want to stop. Like he could’ve if he wanted to anyway. He ran and ran until he saw the Fire Nation up ahead. “I will grind these pathetic so-called shinobi into dust!” Ryo passed the border, coming into one of the many forests in the Fire Nation. He proceeded toward the Hidden Leaf Village…

After entering the Hidden Leaf Village, Ryo found a nice little hotel-like place that he could check into. He needed to rest after his long journey before he could continue his training again. He needed more offensive Jutsus if he ever wished to become more effective against his opponents, but he planned on learning the Sand Shield technique first. He would then proceed with Sand Rope and Sand Whip. The path to that of a great ninja is never easy, it requires hard work. Ryo was willing to put in the hard work if it helped him in return though...

Suna Hogo Sochi no Jutsu (Sand Shield)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him into the air to block attacks. This technique is as strong as the user and is strong against those who are equal or lower in class then the user themselvs. This technique lasts for three rounds but the user is capable of gaining more time with this technique if the user keeps training into the technique. The more the user learns the longer it is capable of lasting.
Special: "Handseals" Slams their hands to the ground.
Drawback: This technique only lasts as long as the user trains into the technique. This technique also has a very large drawback which is that the user can not be within five feet away from the technique. If the user does so the technique will then fall apart.
Description: The sand Shield looks like a massive dome. As the user performs their seals and slams their hand down to the ground the sand rises up and covers the user in a massive dome of sand. The user is unable to see outside of the sand and would need the technique of the third eye in order to help the user. The massive dome condenses with the sand as the sand hardens greatly allowing a number amount of protection against the opponents who wish to do harm. This attack however is quite weak against Lightning attacks.

The Sand Village ninja awoke early the next day, wanting to get a head-start on his training. He got a few odd looks from people he passed by, probably because of the gourd on his back. He went into the forest outside of the Hidden Leaf Village, finding a clearing among the trees. He needed to have a bit of peace and quiet, plus he didn’t want to run into a fight just yet. He would be able to fight Leaf Village ninja later, but the time would not be now. It would be once he had learned many more offensive sand Jutsu techniques. That could actually be a few weeks rather than a few days…

Ryo put the gourd down behind him, the sand spilling out as he spread it out using his Sand Control Jutsu. He quickly got started on it, his hand forming the seals in a matter of seconds (longer than it should’ve taken him though), his fingers literally hurting because he was doing it so fast. Then he slammed his flat palm into the sand directly below him. The sand was supposed to move fast and harden greatly, but Ryo had just started this technique, so it didn’t really do much at all. It began to come up and start to harden, but Ryo hadn’t put enough chakra or energy into it, so it went up about halfway and hardened, then fell back into the sand.

Knowing that he could do better, Ryo did the handseals again and slammed his palm into the soft sand. This time the dome came up all around him, but it refused to harden, quickly falling onto its master and onto the ground. Brushing sand from his hair and body, Ryo let out a frustrated noise, but didn’t give up. He did the handseals a bit faster now, and crushed his hand into the sand. The dome came up all around Ryo and hardened, but his connection wasn’t strong enough with the sand to keep it up. It stayed up longer than his other attempts; that much was for sure, but it still ended up crumbling back into the soft sand.

How could Ryo combine the Third Eye with this Jutsu if he couldn’t even learn it?! Rage driving his emotions again, Ryo did the handseals in about two seconds, then forced his hand to drive through the sand below him. The dome came around him, faster than ever, and hardened. He was unable to see anything around him. “Perfect…” he hissed from behind the fortification. He then closed his eyes and got ready to perform the Third Eye ability. But once he tried to do this, his connection between him and the shield was severed. The dome fell back down as Ryo let out an ear-shattering scream. He came to his knees, now more furious than before!

Ryo did the handseals in less than two seconds, then forcibly drove his open palm onto the ground. This time his hand sliced directly through the sand and came to the ground. The dome came around him, hardening as it shielded him. Even when it came up to create the protective dome around him, the shield was faster and stronger than it had been before. Ryo didn’t waste any time, his eye wide open, a look of death twinkling in his eyes. He did the Third Eye, able to see everything on the outside.

It was at this time that one of his splitting headaches occurred and his chest throbbed. Breaking off his chakra to both Jutsus, Ryo hit the ground. It was just as bad as all the other times this had happened… “Damn… I need to stop doing that…”

Quickly recovering from his episode, Ryo took a few deep breaths, his eyes closed. “Take it slow…” He said to himself, opening his eyes in a lazy manner. He did the handseals, taking his time this go around so that the dome would be enough to shield him from attacks. He then slammed his palms through the ground so that the dome would come around him. About half of it came up, hardened, followed by the rest of it, which hardened as it grew around him. Ryo knew that the Third Eye was commonly used in conjunction with this Jutsu, so he kept a connection with the dome while making a new connection with the Third Eye.

He put his fist up in front of him as the sand on the outside of the shield came up and formed into a sphere, the size and shape of an eye. Ryo built his optical connection with it, forming the pupil and eyeball and such so that it would be perfect. He closed his own eyes now to better focus on the Third Eye. He smiled and was able to see everything on the outside, all of the lovely trees and such. Ryo mostly wanted to nail this technique so that he could work on the offensive ones. He really needed to do that soon… before something big happened.

Ryo broke off both connections and rubbed his chin, trying to think of a better way to test the Jutsu. He smirked as an idea formed in his head. He moved over towards one of the trees and unhooked both of his windmill shuriken. He then nailed them against one of the trees using the sand, hardening it so that it would lock against the tree like glue or sap. Ryo intended to use his own weapons against him, something even he found amusing. He needed to remain within a few feet of the shuriken, so he only took a few steps backward before doing the Sand Shield again.

He did the handseals a bit faster than last time, slamming his hands into the ground. The dome came up around him and then he used the Third Eye to see outside. He could see the sand holding up the windmill shuriken. His right fist came up to his side, shaking slightly. When he opened his palm, both windmill shuriken snapped open and flew at the dome. The Third Eye was able to see this. The shuriken were spinning wildly now as they spun around each other. They hit the dome and penetrated, but did not break off the Jutsu.

Ryo canceled the Third Eye and opened his regular eyes to see the tips of two blades sticking through the sand. He frowned, unhappy with the strength and durability of his dome. He would need the dome to be much harder in order to block simple shuriken and kunai. He let the dome fall back into soft sand. He needed to practice more…

As the sand fell down into a pile of ash-like substances, so did the two windmill shuriken that had been lodged into the hardened sand. Ryo took the five kunai he had on his belt off and picked up the two windmill shuriken. He knew that this would be a bit of a stretch, but he needed to make sure that the Sand Shield would be able to match up to any kind of strength. His chakra was already starting to drain out of him, but he refused to stop until he had fainted, died, or just felt like turning in. The day was still young, the sun up high, and Ryo was just beginning.

Ryo glued the seven items to a tree, making sure they were all ready for combat before going back to the center of his own sand. He performed the necessary handseals in no time at all, the dome coming up a foot above his head, hardening as it traveled. Ryo smirked, not a single crack or fault able to be seen in such a perfect dome of sand. He was proud of what he could create with just a bit of chakra, sand, and hard work. While maintaining this most excellent connection with his shield, Ryo also created the Third Eye Jutsu. With both connected to each other (and Ryo connected to both of them), he prepared for the attack of his own weapons. He made sure the sand dome was hardened to its full defensive power before he started with anything.

The sand-glue holding the weapons to the trees dissipated, flinging all seven of the weapons at their master. Ryo could hear the first five strikes as he looked at them with the help of his own Jutsu, all of them kunai, but they did not penetrate the perfect barrier of sand. Instead, they simply hit, and bounced off, flinging in opposite directions. Now the real test was the two windmill shuriken that followed the lesser weapons. The two spun over each other in a spiral before creating their impact upon Ryo’s dome. The first one hit and bounced off about a foot before hitting the ground. The second one hit the same spot and a part of the metallic blade was sent through, but enough to come close to hurting Ryo. “Better…” Ryo hissed before breaking off both Jutsus, growing used to severing the connection.

After thinking about it, Ryo wondered if the dome was the same strength on the outside as it was on the inside. He decided to try a few wind techniques in order to find out. Plus, this way he wouldn’t need to create the Third Eye to see outside the dome since the attacks would be on the inside. Ryo picked up his things and pocketed them before putting his Sand Shield up once more. The handseals were memorized in his head easily after using them so many times. The dome sprang up around him as Ryo began to focus his chakra. He breathed in a large swoop of air before molding it with his chakra to create an arrow. He then spat it back out with all the force and speed he could muster. The wind sprang out of his mouth, hitting the hardened sand directly in front of him, but it did no good. A bit of the sand was dented, but more sand just took its place and hardened. But that wind technique was only the first one that Ryo had prepared. He breathed in again and formed the chakra with the wind once more. He brought both of his hands to his mouth and breathed out, a mass of wind coming out that sprang around the very small dome, sending loose fragments of sand all over. Ryo’s body was soon covered with it, but the shield would still not break. Ryo’s own chakra was draining because of the wind attacks he was performing on his sand defense. He broke off everything and fell to his knees, gasping for breath.

When Ryo looked up, there was one thing specifically that he noticed about the Hidden Leaf Village. They had an abundance of trees… If he could create special traps with the trees and his own tools then he could really test the defenses and strengths of the barrier he was learning. He started out toward the forest with a smirk across his face.

Continuing into the forest, the sand following its master, shuffling at his feet, Ryo began to use the sand to tape back the heaviest trees. If the dome could defend against simple blades and things of the like, then it should be able to protect against timber as well, no matter how heavy the wood is. The only thing that Ryo knew for a fact was effective against the dome were lightning attacks. When those attacks came, Ryo would have to be prepared with another type of Jutsu to react against it. Lightning attacks… Lots of sand Jutsus were useless against lightning.

After taping back all of the heaviest trees, Ryo got in the middle and did the handseals, then slammed his palm into the ground. The hardened sand dome sprouted around him. He put his hands against it and put more chakra into it as to harden it even more so that it would become more shield-like. Ryo smirked, his fist trembling. Once he opened it he knew that all of the trees would hit the dome, crashing down upon it. But if they broke through then he would be squashed to death. Oh well, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for your Jutsus.

Ryo’s hand opened as the sand holding the trees together snapped into the air, then back down toward Ryo’s dome. Six of the heaviest trees in the entire forest now descended upon the young ninja, about to crush his pathetic existence. But crush or squash they did not. Instead, they hit the Sand Shield and rubbed off of it. They crashed upon the top of the dome, then slid off gently, hitting the bottom with a thud! Ryo undid the Jutsu and looked at the trees around him, raising his eyebrow. “This Jutsu is indeed a magnificent one!” He declared to himself, smirking. He was quickly mastering it, which was certainly good because he needed to move onto his offensive Jutsus. That thought was always lingering in the back of his mind.

Another idea slowly started to gain more and more thought inside of Ryo’s head. What if he combined the shuriken with the trees around him? He could make very sharp objects out of the lumber, such as ballistas or other large projectiles. Using the sand plus his own strength, Ryo broke apart many of the trees and formed javelins and spears out of them. He set them into a pile and put a large amount of sand behind it. He would stand in front of them inside his dome and then use the sand behind the sharp objects to project them into the air. He sharpened the ends of them so that they were razor sharp.

Ryo redid the handseals and slammed his hand onto the ground, the sand reacting immediately as his shield was formed. Ryo’s fist opened into a flat palm and he pushed it forward, as did the sand behind the spears. The sand, contrary to what some may think, can move very fast and send things flying, even if it’s just over short distances. That’s what happened to the spears and javelins anyway. They came right at Ryo’s dome, almost all of them making a mark on the outside of it. Half of them broke or split in half once they made impact. The other quarter of them bounced off into multiple directions. The last quarter of them were the last ones, hitting where the first ones had made their strike. The blades stuck through only about an inch of the way though. Ryo shrugged and canceled the Jutsu, letting it fall back into sand. It was good enough for the time being.

Ryo went back out into the clearing by his gourd, pondering about what to do next. He sat down in his sand, thinking about it…

Suna Shoryu no Jutsu (Sand Dragon Technique)

Effect: A Technique that is used that enables the user to create a massive sized like dragon that is in the size of ten meters in size. The massive dragon is used as a large creation capable of stomping down against the user's opponents. The user is also capable of allowing the massive dragon made out of sand the capability of spewing out massive amounts of sand towards the opponents. The sand that is used is the dragon's source of sand. Once the Sand is used up or the natural source is used up the Dragon can ont sustain itself and will ultimatly crumble.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The Dragon is only capable of spewing out sand twice whenever created before crumbling.
Description: A Dragon that quickly surfaces from the swirling sand beneath the very user as it is hardened greatly by chakra. The dragon has no wings but has four massive sized legs. The lizard like creature stands about twenty meters in length and can move around somewhat freely and easily by the user's will.

The Sand ninja stood up and decided to learn a new Jutsu rather than practicing the one that he had already mastered. He looked down at his sand moved his hand around in circles, the sand doing the same. It swirled and swirled around him, almost like a mini-tornado at his feet, but not powerful. He would need the sand to keep swirling in order to form a dragon out of it. A smirk came across his face. He would actually have control of a full grown dragon to use at his disposal.

Ryo began to form the dragon out of the sand, watching the giant head spew out from beneath him followed by a very long body. The front paws grasped the earthen ground followed by the back paws and the long tail. Ryo stood in front of this new creation. It was tough, strong, and completely made out of sand. He had never seen a more beautiful monster in all of his life. The beast had no wings, but when you had something of this size and power, you didn’t really need it to fly.

The only real downside Ryo could think of was the amount of stress it put on his chakra. All of that sand had his chakra infused with it, making it hard to sustain over long periods of time. Ryo wiped sweat off of his forehead and continued on with this brilliant creation of sand. He moved his right hand, the arm extended to its maximum distance, with a flat palm at the end. The dragon looked the way his palm was facing, following his palm as Ryo moved it.

He moved his hand over to the forest, the dragon’s head now looking to the forest. Ryo’s eyes grew in size as he and the dragon were one together. He closed his palm about halfway into a fist, the dragon’s jaws reeling open. Ryo slammed the rest of his palm shut, the dragon’s mouth releasing a massive amount of sand into the forest. All of the trees were pushed back by this crushing force, the leaves and branches twisting, some snapping off. Everything was now covered in sand…

Ryo fell to his knees once the attack had finished, the dragon quickly crumbling back into the sand that it had been formed out of. He stood back to his feet and got ready to do it again, swirling the sand beneath him…

The handseals were made in the blink of an eye. His fingers and hands were just in front of his stomach, flashing the signs quickly in order to summon his sandy dragon. The great behemoth walked the ground again, but this time even larger and it was hardened more. Ryo didn’t know of any Jutsu that could take down this big of a summoning, but he was sure that somebody would be able to dispel it. Ryo bent his arm at the elbow, then sprang it forward to the trees, which were still sprayed with sand. The dragon, running on four powerful legs, stormed through the forest.

The ground trembled slightly at its might, the sand that was once swirling now stopped. Ryo called the great beast back, and it obediently obeyed. It was not every day that you could command such a terrifying monster, so Ryo had a slight smile across his face when the dragon actually followed his commands. Ryo demanded it to sprint forward and spray sand into the trees again, hoping this time that the chakra flow was powerful enough to tear down some of those trees.

The dragon ran into the trees, then stopped and twisted its neck around, spraying sand into every tree it possibly could. Everything was soaked with sand now, and some of the weaker trees had fallen victim to the spraying of sand. Ryo could see its head come up as if to roar, but it made no sound, silent as the night itself. After its portion of sand spraying ran to a bare minimum, Ryo called it back. He knew that he could only command it to spray twice per summoning, so he would have to take breaks in between each time he summoned the dragon. He took a deep breath, then just commanded the beast to run around for a while.

The dragon obeyed once more, running around the woods in circles until Ryo finally depleted his chakra. The dragon fell into sand, coming back to the gourd that Ryo was sitting next to. “Hm…”

A young warrior stepped out from the shadows, revealing his form. He was small, but noticeably mature in the face, although he was merely thirteen years of age. He could have seen that Sand village head band from anywhere. What was this ninja doing in Konoha? A black figure in the distance was all Karasu would appear to be to this ninja, as he was still a great distance. Karasu noticed the ninja must have been training.

But why in Konoha? He had to question, and he lunged forward, pumping chakra into his feet as he ran towards the Shinobi. "Hey," he called out, and came to a skidding halt before the Sand ninja. "What are you doing in the Fire Country?" he needed to ask. If he planned to attack Konoha, he had another thing coming. This ninja was obviously defiant, and wouldn't put up with anything. His facial expression spoke for itself: he was pissed off.

A katana had strapped itself to his back, and upon reaching his hand over his right shoulder, he took the handle of the bladed weapon, ready to draw it if he needed to. His eyes glared into the sand ninja's sights. This kid before him had to have been very young as well, possibly one year older than Karasu. Karasu pulled his hood down with his free hand, revealing his Leaf village headband, which shinned in the light provided by the sun.

Would he strike at this Sand ninja before even getting an explanation? He wanted to, but he sustained himself, and denied his desire to simply end the life of this Ninja before him. He was obviously unstable; one could tell due to Karasu's slight shake within his entire body. It was almost like he would lash out an any given moment. He waited in silence, unable to take his eyes off that damn Sand Village headband.

Ryo would have to put his training on hold, for there was a Leaf ninja approaching him. And even before the ninja had come out of his hiding position, it seemed like somebody had been watching Ryo. He stood to his feet, an emotionless face staring the Leaf ninja in the face. His face and eyes were void of anything even slightly resembling happiness or excitement. He just blankly stared into the eyes of the so-called enemy. Ryo strapped his gourd back onto his back and slid a kunai into his sleeve. His other hand went behind his back, out of the person's view, as if using handseals. He did not perform a handseal, but he wanted to have it ready.

"My business is my own. What's it to you, Leaf ninja?" He spat the last two words out with specific emphasis. He wanted to see how short tempered he really was... He was already within range of a sand attack. This was getting interesting...

One thing Karasu hated above anything else was a cocky attitute, especially if it came from somebody he saw as being a weakling, which was probably every ninja around him. Karasu's hands twitched, and he pulled his right hand upward, unsheating the blade of his katana. With the weapon now in view, Karasu let the dull side of the blade rest against his shoulder. He didn't like this Sand Ninja already. He didn't fear this Shinobi, although he was getting an adrenaline rush, expecting a fight in the future. Karasu withdrew a lone shuriken from his pouch.

This small weapon was placed in between his teeth, and he clenched down on it tightly to keep it in place. That gourd on his back...There was something more to it than it seemed. Karasu knew the Sand Village ninja to use sand as their weapon. Could this enemy be a sand user? Karasu stabbed the tip of his katana into the ground, and commenced a few hand signs. First he would see how this second-rate ninja approached an illusionary technique. Boar, Ox, Snake, Boar. Karasu's hand signs were completed within seconds, and he focused on something more.

His mind created random hand signs, not particular to any actual Jutsu. He created about a total of ten hand signs, which would surely seem to be about a hundred or more to the sand ninja. He glared intensely into the eyes of the enemy. He comtemplated unleashing a recent technique he taught himself, but he decided against it. He would only use such a technique if he had no other option. He didn't wish to kill this ninja, simply drive him away from the country Karasu called his home. "Return to the Sand Village." Effect: Creates an illusion that the user's hand seal information is too fast to follow.

Drawback: Can be seen through a ninja talented in Genjutsu and level 2 and 3 Sharkingan
Description: Once this Genjutsu is in effect, at anytime afterwards that your opponent sees you forming hand signs, they will see your hands moving in a blur, as if you're forming dozens of seals at an alarming rate, even if you're slowly forming only three or four seals. This has several effects. One, it intimidates your opponent by giving them the impression that your skill level is much higher than it is, and two, it hides what seals you are actually forming. This Genjutsu can even mask seals from low level Sharingan users. However, once the Sharingan has gained it's second pupil, it will be able to start recognizing the seals being formed.
Limit: No limit.

Ryo hated this Leaf Village as much as he hated Ryo. He sighed, not wanting to be disturbed while the day was still young. If this new enemy hadn't figured out that Ryo was a sand user yet, then he was beyond idiocy. The sand had been all around the two the entire time they had been here talking. The gourd was enough of a clue, but with the sand being here as well... It was really just a no-brainer. Ryo could tell that this Leaf Village ninja was up to something, but what, he wasn't entirely sure. Ryo's hand, the one behind his back, performed his own handseals as did the Leaf Village ninja.

But the Leaf ninja was doing his at a remarkable rate, hundreds at a time. Was this some sort of illusion, or had Ryo underestimated him? Not backing down, Ryo quickly went into a defensive stance. He had already performed the necessary handseals, so now all he had to do was slam his palm into the ground. He did just that. His open palm sliced through the sand with ease, and, before the Leaf ninja would even be able to slash with his sword, Ryo's Sand Shield came up around him. It hardened as it went, creating a protective dome around Ryo. He then used the Third Eye on the outside of the dome to see what his opponent would be doing. The Leaf ninja wouldn't be able to break through the dome without an incredibly awesome attack, and wouldn't see the Third Eye. This was turning out to be far more interesting than Ryo had anticipated.

Ryo silently took out both of his windmill shuriken with one hand, a kunai still in the other. He was prepared for the worst...

Suna Hogo Sochi no Jutsu (Sand Shield)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him into the air to block attacks. This technique is as strong as the user and is strong against those who are equal or lower in class then the user themselvs. This technique lasts for three rounds but the user is capable of gaining more time with this technique if the user keeps training into the technique. The more the user learns the longer it is capable of lasting.
Special: "Handseals" Slams their hands to the ground.
Drawback: This technique only lasts as long as the user trains into the technique. This technique also has a very large drawback which is that the user can not be within five feet away from the technique. If the user does so the technique will then fall apart.
Description: The sand Shield looks like a massive dome. As the user performs their seals and slams their hand down to the ground the sand rises up and covers the user in a massive dome of sand. The user is unable to see outside of the sand and would need the technique of the third eye in order to help the user. The massive dome condenses with the sand as the sand hardens greatly allowing a number amount of protection against the opponents who wish to do harm. This attack however is quite weak against Lightning attacks.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release, Must know Sand Control C Rank

Daisan no Me (The Third Eye) NinJutsu
Type: D Rank
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja uses sand to create an eye through which they can clearly see without fear of being seen. Perfect for spying or collecting information, or targeting an opponent while guarding himself with a wall-defense.

Karasu's hand signs ceased, realizing what this ninja was up to. A solid protective shield of sand? He asked himself as he watched the Sand ninja complete such a defensive Jutsu. 'Fine,' he said to himself, taking recognition to the solid technique. Karasu took a few steps back from where the sand ninja was now stanchioned. He was unaware of the Third Eye technique, but it mattered very little to him. Karasu began a few hand signs, which would still apear to be a mere blur to the opponent.

Karasu outstretched his hand. He left hand's palm pressed itself under his right, and a flame began to flicker. 'Come on...' he grunted, having just recently learned this Jutsu. The flames appeared, and as his left hand began to make small circles, the flaming sphere began to wildly spin. This would only be used to lure the Ninja out of his defenses, and he didn't intend to actually try hitting him with it, but if he needed to destroy the sand around Ryo, he would do so.

Karasu held the completed technique in his right hand, and knelt down to one knee. "Reveal yourself Sand Ninja! Or I will force you to!" He threatened from the outside of the sand. He wound up his right hand, ready to throw the spinning sphere to the ground, where it would bounce and head directly toward the shield, surely destroying its defenses and thus causing the opponent to show himself. 'I will use this only if I have to...' he said to himself, and awaited for the reaction of Ryo.

Enshoku (Flame Scarlet)
Rank: "B" "A" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: "B" Rank: First the user has to concentrate their chakra to their dominate hand, and creates a sphere of flames. This fire ball is approximately six inches in diameter. The ball begins to spin in one direction, and the user throws it toward the ground. Due to its spin, it will shoot into the same direction of the spin. This Jutsu will make it seem the user has wasted the Jutsu on poor aim by throwing it toward the ground, and it will bounce from the ground toward the opponent if done correctly. The Jutsu will cause terrible burns, because once it makes its connection it will burst into an explosion.
"A" Rank: The user must have two hands to do this rank of the Jutsu. The wielder must repeat the same tactics as in the "B" rank of the Jutsu, but instead add an extra amount of chakra into it. The spheres will advance to about the size of a basket ball, and doesn't require to actually hit the target, and instead it explodes upon coming within two feet.
Special: Tiger; Rabbit; Dog; Ram; Horse; Ox; Dog; Ram
Drawback: This Jutsu should only be used once for one opponent, because once the opponent realizes what the attack does, it can be dodged (not blocked, and by no means is it easily evaded). Also, if the user isn't exact about the spin, it can completely miss the target, or even come at them once it hits the ground. When the user is holdind the "A" rank of this Jutsu, they are vulnerable to attack, unable to use their hands.
Description: In the user's hand a sphere of flames will appear, and begin to spin rapidly. Once it hits the ground, it bounces and goes in the direction the spin was coming from. Its speed is immense, making it hard to evade. The "A" ranked Jutsu, two flaming balls appear in both the user's hands, large in size. They move slower than the "B" rank, but deliver a more deadly outcome. An explosion erupts once the "B" rank makes contact with the opponent, as well as the "A" rank, but doesn't need to get so close, but about two feet.
Limit: Fire Release; Wind Release

"What is it that you want from me?" Ryo shouted from inside the protective dome. It wasn't very big at all inside, but it was big enough for two people. That thought sparked an idea in his head. He pressed his back up against the shield, his fingertips touching the hardened sand, sending more chakra through it so that it would harden even more. He then cast a series of handseals, making a sand clone in front of him. Ryo, using the Third Eye Jutsu, saw what his opponent was up to. First he had taken a few steps back, which was when Ryo hardened the sand. Then, in a blur, he had done his own handseals, making some sort of fiery seal. That's when Ryo created the clone in front of him. If the Jutsu was able to break the shield, it would just hit the clone in front of Ryo, leaving him unharmed. What was best about this is that the Leaf ninja would have no idea what Ryo did at all... It was awesome...

There were too many defensive Jutsus that Ryo knew and not enough offensive ones. He seeped in sand from his gourd, using Sand Control, and then put a protective shield over his own skin and clothes. With all these Jutsus going on at the same time, it took a serious toll on Ryo's chakra. He managed to stay up and about, and would be able to for a while now, but it was still draining his life. He sighed, wanting his opponent to make some sort of move already. "The move is yours to make..."

Suna Bunshin no Jutsu (Sand Clone Technique)
Rank: "D" "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user is capable of creating clones by using the sand around them. Depending on how much sand the user has, and how well the user is capable of using this technique is dependent on how many clones the user is capable of creating. The C Rank version of this very technique allows the clones movement, and basic attacks such as punches and kicks, but no techniques. When first learned the user is capable of creating up to five Clones, this is for the D Rank Version. If the user learns the C Rank version theyare capable of creating two clones. Each time learned for the Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of creating two clones. Each time the user learns a C Rank version of this technique the user is capable of creating one extra clone.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: For D Ranks The Clones that are created are basically useless, only used as a destraction, only used to stand and can not be used to attack. The user can not learn more C Rank Versions of this technique then that of the D Rank Version of this technique.
Description: If the user has an abundance amount of sand along the ground the user is capable of focusing their chakra along the sand to where they are capable of controlling the sand's structure to create a vast amount of clones if capable.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release, Must know the Sand Control of D Rank. For every Ten Clones equals ten meters of Sand Needed.

Suna no Yoroi (Sand Armor)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A Think layer of sand that wraps around the user so then they gain the capability of using it as a defense against on coming attacks. The sand is durable, and quite flexable as well that fits neatly around the very user. It may not be as protective as the Sand Shield technique but it helps those that are in need. The Sand Armor is only capable of protecting the user against attacks launched by those who are equal in Class or lower in Class.

Drawback: A technique that has many drawbacks. The user looses an extremely numerous amount of stamina when they have this placed upon them. If the user is a NinJutsu Master they are capable of having this technique up and running for ten posts, and rest for two posts before they use it again. If the user is a NinJutsu Specialist this technique lasts for only Five Rounds and rest for five posts if they wish to use it again. And if the user is a Non NinJutsu Specialist this technique lasts for two rounds before the user becomes to hot and fatigued and rest for ten posts before they are capable of using it again.
Description: A technique that is wrapped around the user's body and sticks on their skin, clothes while hardening greatly. The sand forms into the color of the clothing as well, to show those that attack do not know that the user has a sand armor around them.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release. Must know Sand Control. This technique takes up a total of 10 Meters Radius.
