With a splash of fresh water, the girl landed down into the darkness of the crypts, having entered through a metal-gate that had been keeping unwanted guests out of this place for decades. This was an area within Kawa no Kuni that had been completely abandonned years ago, but the old severs and crypts of a, at the time rather large village, still remained, although overgrown in vines and other plants. Ticking on the flashlight that she had gotten while out on her quest, the girl also pulled out a blank piece of parchment so that she could mark which way she had gone. Technically these severs, that had collapsed into the crypts, were quite akin to an underground maze. From where she had landed the tunnels forked in three directions. Deciding to move south, and keeping a good look on her compass while drawing lines on the parchment, she started the search, moving her flashlight about as she was stepping through old murky waters. The plant itself was three meters tall, so missing it was likely going to be hard, but in this dark, finding anything would be difficult.

Inspecting the walls, she constantly came across vines and other plants that she could mistake for the real thing. They were tall, but there was so much dirt that she constantly needed a second glance to make sure that it was indeed the right or the wrong plant. Brushing some of the dirt away carefully, she moved the flashlight closer, attempting to identify what it was that she had come across. For the most part, this area of the tunnel did seem a rather unlikely place for a herb like the dreamfoil to grow, but she'd be damned if she ended up walking right past the real thing without even noticing. As she came to the end of the tunnel, a small waterfall dropped down into what appeared to be an ancient cave below, likely hardly used by the village that had been there on top. Taking a leap into the dark, Yoshi landed into the cave below.

In the cave down below, the girl started searching every little crook for the plant. The flashlight flickering and banishing shadows. Even here, there appeared to be plenty of plants that could've been the Dreamfoil. Carefully with a brush, she'd brush dust off of plants and off the walls to more easily identify them, having trouble identifying much of anything within this dark with only a flashlight and akwardly having to hold multiple things at once. Through the search, she came across what appeared like the dreamfoil, getting up close and inspecting the plumes of the plant, being careful not to ruin its properties by treating the plant wrong. Could this be the end of her search?

Shaking her head, the girl moved onwards. A little while back, she had found a small hole in the cave, leading into another room, and likely deeper down into the darkness. The sound of water running and falling was calming, and every step she took let out a repeating echo through the cave. Getting on her knees, the girl slowly squeezed her way through the hole in the wall, gasping as she had to wiggle from side to side in an attempt to reach the other side. Once she had gotten through, she came across a much larger room. In the middle of it, the water was running downwards, and she could best describe it as something prehistoric. Moving to the side, the girl started by searching the top of this new cavern, looking behind the waterfall for the prestine plant.

There wasn't much of interest behind the waterfall as far as Yoshi could see, even if she was inspecting quite thoroughly. Sighing lowly, from there the travels started heading downwards into the cave itself. Following the stream of water on the right side, she figured she'd be making a return on the left side on her way back up. Searching for herbs was absolutely terrifyingly boring, to the point where Yoshi wish she could've just paid three times the worth of the plant to get it, but noone in their right mind was going to sell something so valueable. With every step she got deeper into the cave, and her boots and knee-high thights had already been soaked from the murky waters. Hopefully she wouldn't have to stay down here all too long, but with every step into the darkness, she got closer to revealing the treasure she had come here for.

At the end of the downwards cliffside, there was a pool of water, clearly running down underground and barring her access, unless she insisted on gambling her life that the currents weren't too strong to pull her away - a gamble that she wasn't willing to take for a single plant. So instead, she searched around the pool of water, clinging onto the cliffside while looking for herbs. Using chakra to hold onto the cliff with her feet, she could keep the headlight on, while using her hands and brush to carefully inspect every single plant she came across. Even if the full grown herb was meant to be three meters tall, there wasn't anything prohibiting her from gathering a plant that wasn't completely grown, right? As long as it was the Dreamfoil, it wouldn't really matter.

After having searched the bottum of the cave, the girl started making her way upwards the other side, still dripping with water from when she had first entered the severs. It was quite the fascinating area, and the occasional discovery of bone or skulls meant that, in the age of old, people had likely been buried here, in some sort of ritualistic fashion. It only made the tingling sensation that the dreamfoil would be growing somewhere here in the darkness tingle ever more. Shrugging to herself, she continued moving up the wall, shedding light on the ground, on the roof, and getting closer to inspect every single plant that she found. This search wasn't going to be over quickly, unless she had luck befitting of a god. So far though, it didn't appear as if that was the case. So instead of facing this challenge with incredible luck, she'd be facing it with hard work and dedication. Heck, she had brought down lunch and other commodoties in case she was to stay here for hours.

After having searched the entire way back up the cave that she had went down not more than ten minutes ago, she came upon the hole she had climbed through to enter, and made her way back towards the severs where the adventure into the darkness had started. Crouching and crawling her way through, she walked up the wall, and soon came upon the place where the crypt had initially forked into three directions. From here, she simply chose a new direction, adding a new line to the parchment, before travelling forwards. This particular pathway appeared more like some underground water-part, with the tunnel itself moving in patterns and ways that was more befitting of sliding through than walking through. Alas, Yoshi had absolutely no idea what'd be waiting for her on the other side, and she wasn't one to take unneccesary risks. Every step she took still revealed more of the darkness around her.

Starting carefully by moving down the first lane of operations, the water here wasn't completely soaking the dirt, meaning that there had likely been different levels of water running through this room when it had still been in function, and this particular lane was meant to be the driest one. Now it was overgrown with small weeds and other useless plants ,but amongst them, there were towering herbs, reaching towards the roof of the room. With a little luck, one of them would be the dreamfoil that she was looking for. Otherwise, she still had another twelve or so lanes to search through, and considering this was a room intended for growing herbs, there ought to be just a single dreamfoil in there, right, right?

Each and every of the lanes were a single meter across and twelve meters far. It was quite an intricate system, and back when the village had been blossoming, this place was probably one of the most secret and valueable places to the inhabitants. Now, it was nothing more than a boring hole in the ground, at least if you asked Yoshi for her opinion on the place. Tiling her head sideways, she looked at her hands for a moment. Dirty, covered in mud, like the rest of her attire. Moving from the second row to the third, she had a plank in the middle of the lane to move on, since she was now effectively away from the wall itself. The water here wasn't completely soaking the dirt. In fact, it was barely soaking the dirt at all, abolishing the idea that the first lane she had moved down through was the driest one. This one, was definitely the driest, as the top layer of dirt remained practically dry, although the room in and of itself was incredibly humid. Moving across the plank, it was giving off odd sounds from having to take her weight. It wasn't neccesarily that the girl was heavy by any means, just that the planks themselves hadn't been used in so many years it'd be impossible to tell when this place had last been in use. The plants growing here seemed to be larger than in any of the other two lanes. By carefully spreading them apart and lighting onto them with the flashlight, she was hoping to find the Dreamfoil... please?

Moving from the third row to the fourth, this sectioning of the garden had a plank in the middle of the lane to move on, quite akin to the third lane she had just been moving through. The water and humidity here was quite akin to what one would find in most gardenhouses. completely soaking the dirt, yet not being as wet as one would find in, say a swamp. This had probably been for the greenhouse like plants that one didn't want to have to find elsewhere. As per usual, the girl was spreading the plants apart, looking to see if she could find anything of interest. Due to her knowledge of the plants, there wasn't any risk that she'd end up touching something poisonous, so she felt confident, even if everything was shrouded in darkness. A couple of the plants quite resembled the Dreamfoil, yet she needed to investigate further to make sure of that notion.

Standing there in awe for a moment, as she passed between the fourth and the fifth row, it had only now struck her just how magnificent of a place this had once been. Perhaps it was related to some work Eleron had done in the past, and thats why he had sent here here? Because he knew that they had done experiments and grown a thousands of plants in secrecy? Either way, she continued with the task at hand, now searching through the fifth of the twelve rows. This row as as one could expect a swamp. The dirt here was of a different origin, and there seemed to be plenty of insects having managed to survive in this particular section throughout the years. As such, the plants growing there were also more native to the swamps, although definitely a place a dreamfoil could grow. Inspecting it further, she was quite confident that some of these other herbs belonged to the respective forest region, but she wasn't competent enough in those kinds of herbs to identify them. The sixth row appeared to have a lot more sand in its soil than the previous rows. Sandy ground gave a different need for roots, than the other textures that had been around the room. Somewhat interested, the girl bowed down to run her fingers through the sandy soil, taking the opportunity to also peek underneath the plants , to see if she could see any glimmer of white. There were a couple of plants that appeared to have a white bottum, and as such, she went directly for them, peeking through the different plants, pulling some away. There was no reason to be gentle with the other plants, as they couldn't even be remotely as rare as the dreamfoil was. Groaning to herself, she had finally reached the point of annoyance where she had begun speaking to herself. "If I don't find that plant soon, I'm going to end up destroying something..."

Description: This plant is used in the most miraculous medical cures, as well as lethal poisons and most tasty culinary dishes. The plant reaches up to 6 meters in height. The plant itself is surrounded by several sections of green leaves which stalk out and blend into the surroundings with blue feather pedals. These blue pedals are connected directly into the roots of the Dreamfoil and serve as a method of storing and containing chakra leeched out of the ground, which is then converted to its own delusional substance for the plant’s survival. Surviving off of chakra from the ground, these plants are only found in the rivers nearby underground swamps, the richest sources of decayed life, in order that they have enough life essence to grow off of. The plumes must be soaked in a liquid catalyst for 2 full weeks without being disturbed and while shaded from all light. After preparation if given to a dead body within 8 days after death, the plant will restore life. If given to a live body it will kill the recipient within 1d4 rounds. Must be digested. Herb consists 32 doses.

Description: A character with this skill has a basic knowledge of plants and how they grow. They know how to tell various species of plants apart and under what conditions each type of plant grows best. Most of the time they can tell poisonous plants from non-poisonous plants. User must choose a specific Region each time they go up this Skill. A successful Botany Skill check provides knowledge of plants, while failure indicates the character does not know or cannot recall anything about that plant. This knowledge is broader than the Agriculture skill, as it extends to plants (including trees) without obvious food or textile uses. As the girl came upon the seventh row, she was in for yet another surprise. The seventh row was completely submerged into water, meaning that it was more of a basin than it was an actual row. Here, the plants grew underwater, and while it would be riddiculusly rare to find a dreamfoil underwater, as far as she knew, it wasn't an impossibility. So getting on her knees, she started running her hands through the water, looking for any glints of white. The basin was mostly overgrown with vines, and searching through it was a pain in the ass. Surely this dreamfoil couldn't continue eluding her, right? There had to be a limit to how long she would have to continue the search. Groaning lowly, she pulled her hands out of the water, having found a plant closely resembling the Dreamfoil. Was this the end of her searches?!
