OOC: Hitora, Jasmine never had her shield on her back when she sat down, that would be physically impossible. She had it positioned in front of her which covered her from mid-chest down, it was also covering Yoko and part of Hitora’s leg. When she stood up, she picked the shield up and attached it to her arm.
On my feet and shield strapped to my right arm, I move away toward the wall and crouch down using the shield as a... Well shield. I had positioned myself six meters to the left of the south door while Yoko continued to sniff around the area. The shield was large enough to cover all vital spots on my body, only leaving my lower legs and head visible. At this point, mauve coloured eyes scanned the ceiling and the walls gradually.
The soft sifting of air flowing through the vents above weren’t affecting anyone within the room, the butterflies fluttering around the fairy-like boy appeared to be fine. And the surrounding shinobi seemed to pay the vent little heed, but some did slip on gas masks. Seeing the air being no immediate threat, I pushed that concern out of mind, for now. But as my gaze went back to Yoko once more, the wolf had begun to growl, his ruff thick the tense, his head lowering to the ground.
“Something’s wrong.” I managed to say before the sudden feeling of tiredness struck me. The urge to sleep was affecting my senses to the point when I slouched down onto my knees, my back pressed up against the wall. Yoko moved along the wall toward me and nudged my shield gently. “I’m fine, boy.” But the wolf continued to growl. I reach into my butt bag and pull out a single kunai, I wasn’t falling asleep in a room filled with possible enemies. Raising my right arm, I drag the blade of my kunai down the side just beneath my elbow and drew blood.
The cut was not deep enough to cause a lot of bleeding. But the pain should be enough to keep me awake and thinking about it. Besides, if the bleeding got out of hand, I can always pop a blood clot pill.
