The hot desert swirled around the young Kazekage as she awaited her summoned envoy that would surely be late once again. The cool sand seemed to flow like water as the wind picked it up and carried it away to who knows where. The 14 year old Kazekage was prepared for the visit to the rain village that would hopefully strengthen the already strong relations between the two villages. The 5'2" Kage donned her official military uniform. She wore her sleeveless black tank top with netting underneath for comfort. Her black Shinobi sandals were snuggly fit upon her feet and secured by leg wrappings that would cover up the area all the way up to the lower shin. Her quadruple knife holster was fixed securely on her right leg as well for maximum comfort. Her type 1 butt bag was fixed securely on her back as well. Her tan tactical vest covered her less than prominent bust, still leaving her arms exposed. Her ands forearms were wrapped up with bandages, exposing the finger, leaving them unwrapped. Her type one tan traveling cloak fell down around her shoulders comfortably. It came down to about wrist lengths and covered a good deal of her body like a poncho. Her Kage's hat had been traded for a sandy colored Kages hat that donned the symbol of wind upon it's front. Overall, she appeared more as a desert nomad then the Kazekage. Her wire reel hung Idly on her belt as well. Her short dark hair was covered by the wide brimmed hat and a long gash slashed across the bridge of her nose from battles fought long ago. "Where are those fools..." She sighed as she began to grow impatient.

As she awaited her envoy, she looked off towards the land of rain. Soon she would be there in the wet moorlands, helping to stop a coup that would surly affect the whole world. As she stood there with the sweet messenger cat that would soon be delivering her letter of notice, she awaited her team to arrive. "Go on kitty, do me proud." She said petting the cat before placing the message into
The tube upon it's back. The adorable feline swiftly dashed off towards the land of rain, and would be shortly joined by her leader and village mates. "Ninja cats...gotta love em." Amira said happily as she waited yet some more.

Isamu's feet beat a steady rhythm against the shifting sands. A parting breakfast with his family had delayed the Genin's departure. Whenever there was time before a long mission he made sure to have a meal with his parents and brother. This mission promised to be very dangerous indeed. He didn't know all the particulars but the danger had been impressed on him. The Kazekage's team would be out of country for several days and any mission important enough to draw the Kazekage out of the country was probably very dangerous indeed.

Isamu was dressed for a mission. He wore his tactical vest over a standard black t-shirt. The tactical vest had six kunai and a long knife stored stored on the exterior. The pack for his communication device was stored in the left breast pocket and the ear piece was in his left ear. On his left hip was his sheathed katana and on the right was a pouch with twelve shuriken. On his back was a plain tan gourd filled to brim with sand. Isamu wore olive green cargo shorts with standard black shinobi sandals on his feet. On his head he wore a gray head covering as was fashionable with many of Sunagakure's shinobi. On his upper right arm he wore his headband that identified him as a Sunagakure ninja.

Isamu slowed as he approached the meeting point. The Kazekage was waiting but it appeared that no one else had arrived yet. Lifting his right arm he waved to the Kazekage, "Sorry I'm late!" He noticed one of the Kazekage's cats running off. Work never stops for the Kazekage he supposed.

Masao had dressed in his usual but menacing attire. Bandages covered his body and a cloak that was worn loosely over it would prevent any chance of him feeling the sun directly on his skin. His face up to his hair was completely bandaged save for a slit in which his eyes could see. The cloak was designed to carry all of his equipment for which he would take on missions that required him to be combat ready. Concealed inside was a number of pills, small knives, various tools and of course his swords and gauntlets. Each of the gauntlets had an enhancement added to them. The right hand which was his leading hand in boxing was enhanced with shocking damage and would cause a target to be paralyzed immediately when struck. The left hand of the gauntlets enhanced with fire causing burns with each punch. A gas mask was worn on the top of his head without the filters attached. They were placed inside the cloak that he wore. Masao's cloak also contained nineteen total kunai, a multitool, two soldier pills and two blood clot pills just in case. In his hands however was a compass.

Over the bandaging he wore standard issue chunin gear with significant difference that stemmed from the sheer amount of combat Masao saw. The pants tattered at the bottom with obvious marks of burning and multiple crude attempts to stitch together areas of which had been cut by various weapons of different sizes. The vest and shirt underneath are just as tattered at the ends. The vest sporting a number of deep red blood stains across the front. On his right arm Masao's headband was located. It being just as worn as the rest of his clothing but he didn’t care as it didn’t affect his combat in any manner. Rather than the standard ninja sandals that shinobi wore he wore boots. This was because it allowed for more freedom of movement and kept his feet dry from the blood that would surely spray out from his enemies.

He saw his kage not too far ahead. As he tread across the sand he would keep his movement as silent as possible the only sound coming from his direction was the shifting of the sands something that was barely audible with the wind blowing. Masao also noticed the other sand ninja that was also coming to rain. He noticed the clothing was that of a genin rather than a chunin. He felt somewhat insulted that the kage would think that she would need more than him to defend her, regardless he would approach and show initial animosity towards this other shinobi.

Masao followed behind this man as quiet as he had been moving before. Hoping to keep himself hidden for as long as possible. This cover would be blown the minute he would cry out to the kage because it was surely only a matter of time before she would turn around.

As Amira waited, she suddenly heard the crunching of sand as beneath what iconically sound like a boot. Crossing her arms and sighing, Amira was glad that when she turned, she found the person they had been waiting on. "Ah, Masao, glad you could make it." Amira said hoping that he wouldn't antagonize Isamu too much. With everyone arrived, they were ready to depart. "Shinobi of Sunagakure, today we are deploying on a peace mission to the rain village...so please be on your best behavior." Amira said with a slight smirk that showed from under the shadow of her hat. She knew that the two young men were probably going to spend plenty of time getting into trouble with the pretty young ladies of Amegakure. That aside, Amira was glade that the pair would be accompanying her. "So then, off we go." Amira said quickly taking the map out from her Breast pocket before sliding next to Masao to get a good bearing with his compass. "Alright, let's get going." She reaffirmed as the young Kage headed off along the desert path just assuming that her colleagues would accompany her path.

As Isamu approached the Kazekage he began to feel uneasy, like something was off. It was only when the Genin reached the Kazekage that the source of his unease was revealed. A voice called out to the Kazekage from behind Isamu startling him greatly and causing him to flinch. The Sadojin had assumed he was alone in his approach of the Kazekage and it was all he could do not to spin around in surprise.

Isamu came to a stop two meters from the Kazekage and turned slowly to face his shadow. The man's dress marked him as a Chuunin. It seemed Isamu would really be the lowest on the totem pole for this mission. At least there would be a clear chain of command on the mission, Isamu appreciated the structure and order that clear demarcations of authority provided.In the event of a crisis he knew who was expected to lead and when. He also supposed that it was better to have been unable to detect a Chuunin than another Genin. The Chuunin's dress was torn and tattered but more startling were the bandages covering the man's face. Isamu could not help but wonder what was underneath.

Isamu bowed his head respectfully in an attempt to acknowledge the Chuunin's superior rank. The Kazekage spoke introducing the mission and in the process gave the Isamu a name for his new teammate. Masao. Isamu nodded after the Kazekage had finished. He wasn't thrilled about the Land of Rain being the destination but he would grin and bear it. Contrary to popular belief a fully grown Sadojin would not melt in the rain but it was an annoyance. He had a simple cloth cloak stored in the base of his gourd that he would wear once the weather changed. It was one of his only pieces of true clothing and he was glad he had packed it.

As Isamu followed the Amira and Masao down the dirt path he took the opportunity to introduce himself to his new teammate, "Masao, I don't think we've met. My name is Isamu Shounin." Isamu left it at that for now, he found the bandaged man somewhat intimidating and didn't want to press Masao for a conversation that might be unwanted.

As expected his Kage called out his name revealing the location of the man to the unsuspecting Genin. Masao sighed heavily as she had done in order to give the impression that he found her attitude to be somewhat irritating. Upon hearing this was a peace mission Masao could not wonder why it was that he was here it should have been obvious to her that he was anything but peaceful. He shrugged it off musing to himself that maybe this girl did not know of his reputation.

He would simply nod in response to her greeting showing that he was simply here to get his job done not to speak. The black haired man smirked as Isamu bowed in his presence as he wasn't expecting such respect from someone he didn't know. Masao continued to be silent even when Amira came up to him and took his compass as this did not phase him. He however would speak when directly spoken to by the Genin his response coming out blunt and serious. "Look kid, I didn't come here to talk. I came here to do a job. Be quiet or I'll make you quiet." He would then look back to the Kage who was leading the way never to give Isamu his attention again. The rain couldn't come fast enough, beautiful busty ladies were waiting for Masao's attention.

Moved to Rain

"perfect..." Amira muttered as they ended up in the land of rain after a long trip. "Now to the embassy I suppose." She said audibly for Masao and Isamu to hear as they approached the capital city of the rainy nation state. "Okay, so we are going inside to pick up the village location...please play nice, you'll get your fair share of action soon enough. Amira assured her team as they lacked the details on the coup that she was more informed on. Once the embassy came into view, The sky would quickly begin to downpour into a horrid rain. "Ah damn it, it go figure it would rain in the land of rain" Amira laughed as he quickly shuffled away to enter the embassy and hopefully successfully acquire the villages location.

Isamu seethed at the man's response. What an asshole. Isamu wondered if the Chuunin could even follow up on that threat. The Sadojin might have been a Genin but he knew he was a match one on one for most of the village's Chuunin and even some of the Jounin. He knew that he was unlikely to find out who was stronger on a peace mission however. Still he already disliked this guy. If Masao had been a Genin there might have been words but Isamu was outranked and so he kept his mouth shut his jaw tightening ever so slightly in frustration.

The Genin pulled out his rain cloak almost as soon as he saw the storm clouds on the horizon. Isamu hated the rain as most Sadojin did. He had learned long ago how to keep the water from penetrating his body but it still took effort and was a constant annoyance. The cloak which was hooded and black and went down to his ankles would keep him mostly dry. As Isamu pulled up the hood the sand comprising his white head covering slid down and dispersed along his back leaving only a head of black hair cut short in a military fashion.

As they approached the capitol the Kazekage remarked on the rain in a light hearted jest. Isamu smiled a little but his face quickly fell back into a solemn mask, he really hated the rain. As Isamu followed the Kazekage to the embassy he spoke again to Masao his voice tinged with a faux tone of respect, "You know Masao you'll have to change those wet bandages or your face will get the rot." It was toeing the line of insubordination but it wasn't as if Masao was a Jounin, just a Chuunin who had already gone out of his way to harass Isamu.

As they approached the cloud weather of the country of Rain Masao would pull his gas mask down onto his face. After doing this his hands would glide across the rough material and reach behind his back to grab the hood and raise it over his head. He would then close over the cloak making his entire body shielded from the rain. The man continued followed his Kage and as previously stated completely ignored Isamu. Had it not been for the presence of the Kage Isamu would have been attacked by Masao the moment he opened his mouth again. "I told you to be quiet kid."
