Phyre listened carefully to the kage's idea about luring Shotz out by announcing a tourney. The plan to her sounded awesome. Granted Phy loved fighting, and wanted a rematch from the last tournament she was in...where Kaoru beat her ass into the next country basically...thus making her one of Phy's eternal rivals. Course it sounded like Shigure had other plans about plants....So we go from brutal barbaric army plan to the hippie lover one.

Phy choose to speak up slightly. "I for one...I'm up for the tournament." she said with a smirk towards Shigure. But once more...she really didn't know much about the girl they were looking for either. Sure...Schatzi gave her the goggles fully equipped with gadgets and such....and she did something else weird at the chunnin exams...which Phy still wasn't clear what had happened. The girl was weird beyond belief in the first place, hard to tell what would lure someone like that out in the first place anyway.

"I will say this. If this individual is worthy of the promotion given to them, than they will be more than happy to come to a banquet here honoring the friendship between Yukigakure and Takigakure. If what you say is true, than I think we will all find this beneficial for the long term strength of our alliance. I will send out word to all the known world of the event as soon as I possibly can." With that I would sweep my arms out, and gesture towards the main building.

"Come my comrade," I would nod towards the man "and m'lady. Business is settled. I'll show you around the embassy on the way to your quarters."

If the two complied, I would walk them through the building, showing them the meeting room in all its formality, the lobby with its beautiful stonework and smooth, warm lighting, the dungeon in all its darkness, and finally, I would take them to the suite of four bedrooms which were nestled in the corner of the embassy. On one side of the hall would be three rooms, on the other one great one.

"Take your picks of these three rooms here. If you need me come nightfall, I'll be asleep in there. Feel free to wake me. For now, I've got some letters to pen. I'll be having my dinner in the courtyard to get a better view of the end of Summer. Feel free to join me if you please."

And with that, barring any politeness required in my leaving, I would head to the meeting room to get some paper and ink, and a flask of mead, and begin inviting foreigners to revel in the grace of the Snows.


After all, the Autumnal Equinox is here. And Winter is not far off.

Pondering over the words of the Yukikage, Shigure couldn't help but agree. "Seems fair. We'll go with whatever you can muster up. Any help is appreciated." it didn't take much to sway the chuunin's thoughts, but there was a problem. How long would the banquet take too create? Shigure wanted to find Schatzi as soon as possible. Still without leads, the boy couldn't help but seem eager. "We will definitely stay the night and attend the banquet, However, I would like to look for more information. In the morning we will head out and search a bit more. We'll return to attend the meeting."

They moved through the embassy with ease, Shigure taking in the scenery with ease. They didn't get out of the village much, it was great to site see while looking for the Newest Takikage. Once they got to the bedrooms, Shigure moved towards the middle room, graciously denying the meal with the Yukikage. It wasn't that he didn't like the man, but he had alot to ponder about, and needed to be alone. As the Yukikage left the two, Shigure motioned to Phyre to meet him in his quarters.

"We need to talk."

Phyre nodded along as the Yukikage talked. Hell she even let out a small smile when he said m'lady to her. Oddly enough she kinda liked being called that for some reason, and she would slightly bow her head. It wasn't much, but considering she never bowed at first to begin with....it was least something. She would follow the two out, looking about as well, and telling her eagle with just a look on her face. 'No you can't kill another snow bunny....now behave yourself....' Her bird would let out a small squawk of protest, while Phy would just smile.

Course Phy was unsure of staying the night in an actual room. 'Wonder if they got a tree house or something....' she thought. Phy really hasn't slept in a bed since she was seven years old...She was now in her upper teens, and used to sleeping her tree, just outside the building that Shigure and Hiroki lived in. It wasn't that they didn't want her there, she just didn't want to sleep inside....But as they neared the rooms, the kage would take his leave, as even Phy wasn't all to hungry anyway.

She was about to find something to do, either in a room or finding a tree...but Shigure motioned for her to go to his room instead. A look of confusion on her face at first...till he said they needed to talk. "Yea...think you kinda owe me a few answers..." she muttered loud enough for him to hear.

Once the two entered the room, a since of urgency befell the Chuunin. "I may have left out some major details of our mission. We are looking for Schatzi, but theres a reason the Village wants her back as quick as possible." Shigure moved towards the bed, taking a few short strides, ending his journey by sitting down on the edge of it. "Schatzi is the new Takikage." The shinobi braced himself by placing his hands behind him, palm down. "No ones seen her in weeks, maybe months, and its our job to go find her. He was with Rosie-Sama last though. So we're trying to find both if possible."

Shigure's voice was hushed, so that they wouldn't draw attention, but he was sure the Yukikage had figured out their mission with ease. One thing was certain though, Schatzi nor Rosalie were in Snow.

Phyre was really odded out by her comrade's actions, he seemed all hush, hush and really serious about something. As he tells her the actual details of the mission finally...all she really could do was look at him with a very blank look. Till about ten minutes had passed and she finally spoke up. "Come again?" she said slightly more audible than Shigure had the whole time in the room. She shook her head slightly, and lowered to a whisper but emphasized should she have been talking normally this would be a yell. "That crazy thing is our what?!"

She paced about the room slightly trying to gather herself. "Can't even say I recall ever meeting the other ones..." she said in a lower tone but not a whisper. "I've stayed away from the village for quite awhile...." as she looked down and off to the side from that comment of hers. She wasn't quite sure what to say next even.

Shigure shrugged at the comment about Schatzi being the villages new leader. He knew she was quite the capable shinobi, but she came with quite a personality. Who knew if the village elders were making a sound judgement. For now he would play along with the villages decision and find Schatzi.

"Well, now you know, and try to keep it hushed. The vilage has went through a shift of leaders for quite some time. I'd rather not let the other villages know we're weaker because of it. They may take advantage of it."

Standing while he spoke, the boy began taking off his vest, then immediately after, his shirt. "Time for bed. Go find a room." He'd state, Unbuckling his belt. Wether or not the girl left, Shigure would continue his undressing, without a care in the world.

Phyre listened to what Shigure had to say. She nodded in agreeance to keep things hush, hush with outsiders. "No problem...there...." she said trailing off as suddenly Shigure thought it was a great ass plan to start undressing before saying he was going to bed....and to continue to undress before the girl really had much of a chance to respond. "For fuck's sake Shigure, could ya have spared me ONE more minute before doing so?" she said in a slightly elevated tone. Phy didn't really know how else to take it...this kinda was the first time a guy was starting to undress in front of her. Course they were both adults, but come on...Phy is more focused on fighting than this thing called romance.

Phy shook her head, and turned away. "Find a room, huh? You do know I haven't slept in a room since I was seven years old right?" she said commenting on the fact that they never had to stay over-night somewhere before that they actually had the luxury of rooms. She would have gone outside to find a tree....but this was the land of snow....she didn't feel like dealing with the temperature outside.

The red head would leave the room, and find a room right across from where Shigure had picked his. She took off her jacket and vest and tossed them on one of the chairs nearby. She decided to take off her kunoichi boots and place them by the bed, of which she would start to sit on it. It was odd sitting down on something so soft, unlike the tree she was accustomed to as of late. She didn't take anything else off other than her weapons which she tucked under the pillow, she would be sleeping on. One could never be too sure of her surroundings. She would lay there looking out the window, reminiscing slightly till she would eventually succumb to falling asleep. Unfortunately for her...her dreams would be of her comrade undressing....damn you Shigure....

Phyre awoke which seemed like an eternal slumber, to something tickling her skin. She tossed a bit before coming to the realization...something was crawling on her. She immediately reached for her one sai from under her pillow and aimed it at the spot she felt something last. To her surprise....it was a spider of all things...in snow really? She legit jumped out of bed, landing roughly on the floor and didn't give a moments thought before she already dropped her sai....and began to perform a few handseals.

She did stop herself though before completing the last handseal for one of her fire jutsus. The red head happened to be near her butt bag and quickly reached for a kunai. She was close enough to this size of a baseball spider, that she didn't need to find the goggles too. Phy can have an issue with precision aiming like this should it be at a distance. She tossed it quickly at the thing that wasn't moving at the moment on her bed. She nailed that sucker right in the abdomen of it. Phyre scrunched up her nose as the bug guts leaked out and the spider was pushed back a bit. She found this kill absolutely disgusting and there would be no way she would stay in the room any longer. To her it was contaminated by this thing...

She quickly gathered her butt bag, sais and katana, for everything else was still on her. She left the kunai behind, for she didn't want it back ever...it was contaminated as well. Storming out of her room, she knocked rapidly on Shigure's door, but didn't hear him even seem to stir. She wasn't sure if he had taken leave all of a sudden or was that heavy of a sleeper. So Phy did what she thought was best for herself. "Yo Shigure, I aint staying around in my room any longer, so let's head back to the village and see what we can gather for well you know." she would say as their mission was sort of hush hush and all.

Phyre would make her exit from the embassy to that of the city of Yozamu.

Quickly an messenger boy ran thorughout the building trying to find the two guest. He just got notified of the Hachidaime Yukikage returning back to the village. Appearently they ran into some trouble that took them an long while to fix. Noticing one of them start to exit the building he attempted to run more he bend forward weezed out of breath. "Ace is baaack" he shouted hoping the girl heard him if not he would have to tell his kage about them in the capital.

At this point Phy was in her own little world and kept walking. She never heard Ace behind her, and just had this gut feeling her village needed her back, or she had some bigger purpose to head back and attend to.

The frigid winter winds blew snow in every direction, making it almost impossible to see as Naruka made his way through the streets of the Yozamu. The silence of the almost empty streets during the blowing snow storm was concerning enough as the weather prohibited a lot of activity in the area, but it normally wasn’t this quite. Naruka’s black wool cloak that he wore over his thick black Gi Shirt, black winter pants and boots. Under his Gi he wore a warm undershirt and Chainmail over said shirt for protection. He wore a face mask and hood from the cloak, warping a bandage around his Hyuuga curse seal. His black bladed Katana rested upon his left hip, and his cloak was lined with 4 kunai blades, 20 senbon, 10 exploding tags, 2 blood clot pills, and his mission scroll and notes that he had acquired for his mission that had not really been much of a success other than stealing the secrets of Jyuuken from the Hyuuga.

Approaching the large complex as the snow blew against his cloak, the flare of his appearance making him visible contrasting against the snow. The guards were surely on edge right now, Naruka figured since snow storms were always when ambushes tended to take place. Naruka approached holding out his gloved left hand to let them know he was approaching. “Hail, I’m Naruka of the Hyuuga clan, I have an appointment with lord Jorik, the Yukikage of Yukigakure, Naruka would state calmly as he would offer the fellow a preemptive statement of good will, offering the fellow the official mission statement from the Yukikage, which he had kept. He would keep his mission map, star charts, and personal notes secret as he didn’t want to give those away so easily.

“Am I allowed entrance into the complex?” Naruka would ask, holding his hand out expectantly to receive the documents from the guards, as he would need the mission slip in order to turn in the mission he had received. It had been hell getting some of this information, so much infiltration, and feigned innocence to get into that damn village, and not to mention he was kept so far away from any hint as to the location. It had been hell. He was to the very least glad to be back in the village that he had been so far away from for so long.

Lazily the assistant glanced out the window. His brown eyes silently observed the falling snow. Atttenntion diverted to the newcomer he yawned. Patiently he listened to the guest. "You can reapply to be an shinobi but the test will be designed by lord Hachidiame yukikage" he informed her. Afterwards he written an messenger bird before the bird headed to the kage's home.

"of course, I would expect nothing less," Naruka said calmly relaxing for a moment as he would await the news from the Yukikage, wait Hachidame? wasn't that fellow dead? Naruka distinctly remembered the fellow having been deceased. Naruka shook off the feeling as he awaited what it was that he was going to have to do. "just let me know when you're ready,
" Naruka notified the receptionist whom he was allowed to approach without being disarmed and without giving him any of the mission specs. He was going to wait for the Yukikage.

When the individual mentioned the leaked information of the Hachidiame being previously killed the assistant nervously rubbed the back of his neck. He was not exactly sure how their beloved hero of the land returned that fateful night yet the people was just happy to have their symbol of endurance to be returned to them. Even in the night the villagers speculate if the Chivalrous Gambler was still an human being or just an specter from the great beyound."well im not allowed to give you any more information regarding those report only thing that matters is Ace is alive" he sternly said while gently placing his hands upon the desk.

A few moments later the messenger bird returned with an playing card strapped upon one of his legs. "it seems he is heading over here now" the embassy assistant informed the eager individual.

Calmly walking in the gentle blizzard the old relic wondered in the frozen courtyard of the embassy. His light blue eyes glanced at the elegant building standing infront of him as his breath lingered out of his lips in slightly frozen vapor. He wore his usual outfit consisting of an white dress shirt with an ligth brown dress vest upon his upper body. Also in addition to his normal wear around his neck was the arms of his ceremonial kage robe. Ruffling in the wind the light grey robe elegantly ruffled as the 8th symbol glowed in the faint moonlight. His lower body was well dressed with dark brown dress pants with an black leatherbelt around his waist. Upon his left knee was the symbolic red velvet sash that marked his mastery of Ake Suna. Gently whipping in the arctic air his faded light blond ponytail waved in the frozen breeze. Wondering of how to greet the individual considering that the stranger believed he was deceased, Ace rubbed the back of his neck. "sometimes situations cant be explained cleanly" the Hachidaime Yukikage muttered as his light blue eyes glanced through his wireframe reading glasses as he looked up towards the heavens. "well have this take care of this task i suppose then tuck little Gunnr into bed" he thought as he began to head to the entrance of the embassy.

Opening the embassy doors the cold arctic wind would seep into the building forcing his aging hair to sway in the wind. Noticing the arrival of the village protector, the assistant immediatley stood up before bowing his head in respect. Seeing this, Ace gave him an node and an gentle and polite smile. "you may rise sir" he informed the individual before his gaze landed upon the stranger.

He actually came, the Yukikage of Yukigakure…very different than he remembered as this was Ace not Joric. Kneeling down with a bow of his head he would simply utter, “Lord Yukikage.” As the clerk seemed to share the sentiment of respect as he couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe being in the presence of the revived legend who was now standing before him. He heard someone say rise sir, but alas he didn’t realize until he had stood upon his feet again that the fellow had been speaking to the clerk and not him. “Sir, I’ve returned to the village to report about my mission and its mixed progress as well as request the returning of my status as a ninja of Yukigakure.” Naruka would exhibit as he took a moment to let the Kage think about what it was that the Hyuuga was requesting. He had not been the kage he had been expecting; however he figured he would still be informed of the mission that had been given to him to attempt to locate the village hidden in the leaf’s location; which had been less successful than he had hoped…as their location was still a close guarded secret.

“Sir I’m sorry to report, but I don’t have the location of the leaf village, but do have some general locations as well as possible locations.” The Hyuuga said as he handed over his charts maps and mission scroll that he had been given at the beginning of the mission. “In short, I do not have the location, but alas I did my best to locate it, and do have some notes about the interior if that helps any…” Naruka said as he figured the Kage would be upset with his mission leaning towards failure. It was hard for a Genin level ninja to perform such a task, but alas he would accept his momentary failure as all warriors had to do.

Ace slightly frowned as he noticed the embassy assistant and the stranger welcome him like an king. His light blue eyes briefly glanced at the ceiling accepting this usual treatment ever since he was revived. He only wished to be an hero for the people yet it seems with his rebirth he have became so much more to the villagers and shinobi of his beloved land. Gently his hand rested in his pockets as his ceremonial Hachidaime Yukikage cloak gracefully drifted in the slight wind. The old relic patiently listened and observed the stranger as he resumed his usual posture before explaining the situation. Pondering of what to say his white gloved left hand gently grasped his stubbed chin as the loaned scrolls and such was placed upon the desk.

"failure of such scale is usual frowned upon when it comes to assigned tasks" the Chivalrous Gambler would begin to say as he gazed upon the hyuuga. "yet the vital question before i can give you my answer is do you understand why you failed" he politely and gently asked. "even when you realize the answer you must accept what cost your success" the red leg master mentioned as his tone remained the same. "can you be the individual who can overcome his own faults to help others" the Hachidaime Yukikage stated sternly as his gloved hand continued to gently rub his chin.

[The Roar of the Falls]

In blew the voice of Taki, the battle cry, Isabella, The Roar of the Falls. The snow billowed in behind her and when she door shut she shrugged off her gear with a shudder than ran through her whole being.

Goggled tinted blue covered her glass like eyes and her fingers worked into of her Melody Arm. The wonderful gleam of her gemshorn hung on her belt but most of all her resolve shined through on her stare down. In moments she was at the secretary's desk, pulling out her papers as an emissary of Takigakure;

"I need to speak to Ace the Yukikage immediately, it's an important and urgent matter I'd imagine he'd want to know about post haste." And the wheels began to spin.

Silently the embassy assistance gazed at their papers as their kage talked to the stranger. Although a few moments later someone burst into the embassy announcing urgency to talk to the Hachidaime Yukikage. "he is in the next room" the assistance informed the visitor while pointing to the next room.
