Soon after Marii's family made their way back to their homes, Kininata let a sigh of relief pass through him into the air, his breath visible for a moment. Ryutatsu had bene quiet himself on the pair seeing him, which wasn't so unusual - he didn't recall him being overly fond of social discourse; though it was clear the young man was quite different from what he remembered from the first time they were working together, he hadn't seen aything that made him a risk to the village or to Marii, so he kept his queries about what had happened to him locked away. He understood the value of things better not discussed among the living.
And then the odd sight. The first thing that caught his eyes was the strawberry blonde with flekcs of pink - it stood out much like his own hair in this place; the crystal blue eyes contrasted against her complexion. Though she was wearing a claok, he caught glances of something brightly coloured beneath it - perhaps something golden or sun-like in shade, but his brief glance couldn't spot the details enough. She seemed to be crowd watching mostly, and though she did cast her eyes over the three of them her posture and actions didn't hint of intent to harm. She was either talented at hiding intent, or simply curious.
"We're going to visit the city shrine. Should we meet outside the city gates in two hours?" Marii directed to Ryutatsu. Kininata turned his head and positioned himself to look directly at Ryutatsu, but keep both the cloaked strawberry-blonde observer and Marii in view. 'This should be our final stop while we are here, so we should be able to catch the last boat out of the harbour before nightfall.' He remarked to both of them, the fingers of his left hand curling into the sleeve of his jacket to touch the loop of one of his kunais. It was a subtle movement, but a keen observer would see it easily enough - he wanted those watching to know he was not dropping his guard.
'Whenever you're ready to leave, Raikage-sama.' He said, and once she started making her steps towards the shrine he would follow in tandem and closely.
