Horizontal High Elbow Strike (Elbow #1) Rank: "D", "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: All Elbows can be made from a fighting stance or passive stance. Simple Elbow strike. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Starting Position Modified passive Stance, with your hands raised up to face height. Bring your right hand (either in a fist, or open with slightly bent fingers) in to your shoulder, creating a firm bend in your elbow. Sharply swing your elbow out horizontally in front of you to make contact with your target's throat or face. Strike with the point just below the tip of your elbow, pivoting as you strike to generate more power. It is best to aim for the target's face, such as their temples, cheeks, or perhaps their throat area. Recoil and return to starting position. Due to the bone of the elbow, when user learns the "C" Rank version they are able to cut the opponent. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Krav Maga. Must know the Fundamentals in Level 1 - Yellow Belt.
Kyodai continuing with his Krav Maga training was starting to mix up his actions. For the fist time he was bringing in something other than a open palm strike. He did learn how to do a closed fist punch but he rarely uses that. It is usually a variation using his palm as the striking force. It was just his way to do so, but now he was adding elbows into the fold. It was time to mix it up so he wasn't always predictable.
Elbows were an extension of using his hands so first he got to the point of being comfortable of getting in that close. It was a completely different fighting space fighting at elbow distance than full striking distance of the arms. Kyodai understood this well for in Aikido you continually go in and out of the various distances. He dropped to a modified starting position in front of a striking dummy.
Kyodai's stance was the modified one with open hands with finger curled in slightly. He had a bend in his elbow for striking purposes. He would then swing his elbow forward horizontally with force then bring it back to start. He was aiming high towards where a person's throat would be. His strike hit with a sharp twack of force, for how soft he usually was he was becoming very comfortable with some of his hard strikes.
Kyodai trained day in and day out in his martial arts. His own unique style was becoming more and more obvious. He actually restrained himself pretty well when putting force into his blows as he could make them hurt really bad. A burn or frost bite was not needed in basic training of these techniques. And Kyodai kept this in mind as he made various strikes. Also he kept in check his gravity abilities as well.
The Krav Maga dojo instuctors noticed his unique style and encouraged his training. They knew it was more about what works than looking good. Besides he had a few more kinds of training that all blended nicely. Kyodai practiced that elbow strike until he had the precision that he expected out of himself. For precision was paramount in his fighting way for martial arts.

0/10 Meridian Location - The Small Intestine Meridian Rank: "C" Skill: Supplementary / TaiJutsu Effect: A simple studying technique to learn the meridians. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: In order to go into the techniques the user must know the right Meridian in which the pressure point is located within. There are a plethora of Meridians that a user must know. This technique must be learned multiple times as it allows the user to memorize the location of one Meridian each time learned. The Meridians are The Lung Meridian, The Colon Meridian, The Stomach Meridian, The Spleen Meridian, The Heart Meridian, The Small Intestine Meridian, The Bladder Meridian, The Kidney Meridian, The Pericardium Meridian, Triple Heater Meridian, The Gall Bladder Meridian, The Liver Meridian, The Conceptor Meridian, The Governing Vessel, and Extra Points. User must know all Meridians before going into Extra Points and The Governing Vessel. Limit: Must learn from a master of Dian Xue Shu. Must know all Hand and finger strengthening technique.
Kyodai was back in his study reading up through the series of medical journals that was his assignment from his master. The assignment before even getting into how to strike the critical points was to learn them all. Every median and every point with each median. It was a long and tedious assignment. But with Kyodai's memory and background as a Medic, and a triage medic at that was helping.
The small intestine median was interesting as it was one of the digestive track locations. it was a misconception that the stomach did the majority of this, it is actually the small intestine that absorbed the minerals and materials. The stomach simply set the stage for the break down of said minerals. It did do some absorption but very little.
Food traveling down the small intestine is where it gets redirected as materials for the other major systems. But as well the Small intestine contains powerful acids and germs that if ever ruptured could cause much damage in its wake. And if not treated right could cause death. Kyodai's background let him know this and now the meridians let him know a way to relieve stuff without the chakra.

0/10 Inside Defense Against Straight Punch Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: Inside Defense is made against straight punches to the face or the throat. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Unlike 360° Defense (Outside Defense), which is a "stopping" defense, Inside Defenses are "redirecting" defenses. They redirect the attack away from its intended target. Defend with the same-side (mirror) hand. No "Cross Blocking." For example if an attacker punches with the left hand, you defend with your right. Starting Position: Left-leg-forward fighting stance, hands up and slightly less than shoulder-width apart. As an attacker moves toward you with a straight punch, bring your defending hand forward and inward, pushing against the attacker's arm the center palm. Your palm should slide along the attacker's arm. Move from just inside your shoulder inward toward your line of sight. At the same time, make a small head defense to the outside to give yourself some extra space in case your hand defense didn't succeed. Tips Defend with your palm, but if you misread the height of the punch, you can also defend with your wrist or forearm. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Krav Maga. Must know the Fundamentals in Level 1 - Yellow Belt.
Kyodai's whole purpose learning martial arts was for defense. Well he finally knew enough about strikes and blows to start learning how to effectively deal with them. The start of learning how to do that though was incredibly simple. He had to learn how to redirect a blow towards him. In Aikido that was done in any zone of defense one built up but no so in Krav Maga.
In Krav Maga, inner shell defenses are redirecting defenses. Outer shell defenses would be hard stopping defenses. But for Krav Maga the outer defense is after inner defense. Which was good for Kyodai for the inner defense fit in well with what he already knew. This was just one more layer to his ever building set of tools of defense. He took a deep breath as he worked out in his living room cleared of the furniture.
Kyodai took a basic Krav Maga stance to steady himself. Even though he uses multiple martial arts to at least start he uses just one at a time to learn the techniques. He usually modifies it to the situation after he has had the basic knowledge. So here he is going though the basics of defense as his master taught him using a shadow partner to make sure he got the drill down.

0/5 Improved Unarmed Strike Rank: "E" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: User is skilled at fighting while unarmed. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: User is considered to be armed even unarmed. User's unarmed strikes can deal lethal or nonlethal damage, at the user's choice. Limit: Universal TaiJutsu Technique.
Kyodai's specialization in his unarmed fighting skills has given him a leg up in a lot of conflicts. It was to the point that he could choose how much damage he was doing to his opponent. As a medical professional this became important when he wanted to keep someone alive. He didn't enjoy hurting people but as a shinobi that was sometimes his job to do just that.
So Kyodai worked on and thought about methods where he could accomplish his goals with minimum extra damage being inflicted. But at the same time he strengthen his body and his hands so all it took was one hit most of the time. Jyuuken strengthened his inner chakra, Aikido strengthen his spiritual and his ability to redirect. Dian Xue Shu gave him precision and strength of his blows, and Krav Maga an awareness of how to accomplish.

0/30 Poison Resistance Rank: "C" Always 30 TP Skill: Supplementary Effect: Over time the user becomes more resilient against Poison. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: At "C" Class, an Alchemist gains a +2 bonus on all Saves against Poison. This bonus increases to +4 at "B" Class, and then again at +6 at "A" Class. Limit: Must be an Alchemist.
Kyodai began experimenting with the various poisons he has come across over time. For there was one truth in the medical field. Someone will do something horrible to another. Kyodai didn't really care about the actions as so much about doing his duty afterwards. Kyodai first started at the basic poisons and their effects on the human body. He used text books to read up on the effects at the beginning.
He began to read the normal sorts of medical textbooks one would expect he would. His great memory and genius level intelligence made such things child's play for him. Kyodai though continued through the elementary knowledge that the books shared with him. Then he began secreting small samples of various venoms and poisons as to gain a more physical than conceptual understanding.
Kyodai at this phase was still the hardy individual who joined the medical field in the first place. He knew relying solely on chakra was a dangerous thing. So unlike most shinobi he wanted to know every non chakra way of doing the same thing. The best way knowing how to put someone together was knowing how to take them apart. And poisons was one way others have been doing just that for generations.

0/30 Post 2 Poison Resistance Rank: "C" Always 30 TP Skill: Supplementary Effect: Over time the user becomes more resilient against Poison. Kyodai then began to note that if he had used small doses on himself he would be more resistant to the poisons. Getting small doses of poisons was not a problem for the young medic since he worked at the hospital. So he began secreting out samples of every poison he could find in the hospital. But only a very little at a time as not to arouse suspicion.
It was really easy for Kyodai. Especially since he had a reputation for taking work home with him anyways. Anything that made them better doctors was encouraged within reason. So This was the beginning of Kyodai's self experimentation. He started with the small doses of poisons and venoms. This was to make himself more resistant for one and to use himself as a baseline for how they affected his system.
Kyodai though was very cautious for he also took with him various serums and items that would help him resist the effects of the ones he was using just in case. This would inspire him to not really take unnecessary risks. He wanted to be thorough and competent in all that he did. Kyodai kept with the work day in and day out as he figured how each one worked in time.

Kyodai was not only going through the various types of poisons but variations inside each type threshold. This was all for the purpose of giving him a broad base to work with. During this time period though he appeared sickly enough that he had to skip a few unarmed combat sessions he had planned to do. That made him be even more careful with his already full schedule.
Kyodai then went further and took specific notes on each poisons in his journals. He was amassing quite the library of medical texts and journals by the time he was comfortable with his knowledge on the subject. He was keen on never being the one caught unaware or unknowing. This was just another facet of his personality that didn't show up to much when he was with others.
Kyodai had worked hard on those journals as well. Using his ability as a Li, he also made very detailed drawings in the journals to be ever precise in his work. He wanted a competent record in case his very good memory ever failed him. Kyodai then stored his journals in a hidden place in his house for they were showing his self experimentation.

0/10 Acid Resistance Rank: "C" Skill: Supplementary Effect: User gains Acid Resistance. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Because of the user's constant usage of Acids and other alchemical equipment the user gains an Acid Resistance 5. Limit: Must be an Alchemist.
Kyodai was really digging into non-chakra ways of healing and doing things. Maybe because his own chakra reserves were not impressively high. He knew he just was very efficient at using them. But because of how his reserves work he knew he needed alternate methods to fighting. It was great that he could see the chakra points but he was not yet fast enough to hit them all.
So his solution to his problem for the current time was chemicals. Acids did nasty damage as he knew. Acid damage was one of the more horrible things that crossed his triage room. But now he was planning to use that same thing on any enemy he had. Kyodai was fairly good at knowing just what mixtures did what when it came to this.
It all came from a time where Kyodai was a medic before becoming a shinobi and learning how to use Chakra. It was secondary to him for the most part, but chemicals, now there was a weapon. His constant exposure though had an added side effect that he liked a lot. He was becoming used to the chemicals so they were not quite as harmful to him though he still had to be careful.

0/5 Observation SP 61/125 TP 25 Rank: "E" Skill: Sophisticated Skill Effect: User's senses allow the user to notice find details and alert the user to danger. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Relevant Abilities: Acuity Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. This skill focuses certain powers of observation - sight, smell, hearing, and touch. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for the Character any time there is an NPC, creature, event or happening that a character might notice, even if they did not specifically state that they are monitoring their surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception; this skill will typically be used as a competing check against another's attempt to avoid detection (stealth, etc). Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Some practical applications of Observation follow: Limit: Must learn from Skills. (+10 Walking the Area) (+20 Keen Eyes) (+10 Crime Scene Hazard) (+10 Connecting Evidence) (+20 Alertness) (+20 Investigator) (+10 Keen Sight - Hyuuga) (+25 Chakra Sight - Hyuuga) (+10 Eidetic Memory) (Able Learner)
Kyodai was very careful with his experimentation in his lab that was acquired during one of the strangest days he had. But he made sure to go over the lab with a fine tooth comb. It was careful observations that would carry the day it would seem. That was generally true, but for him it was especially true as one false observation could mean the failure of his work.
It was even more dire in his normal day to day work as well. He was a medical professional and that required detailed analysis of the smallest symptoms. That required careful observations as well. These kinds of things though were not taught but gained by experience.
