Event for newer characters?

So there have been several events created over the last week and a bit, and while they all look cool and engaging, none are truly suitable for newer characters (Lore of the Jungle is S-rank, while Necrotic Overhual is B-rank).
Would it be possible to have a lower ranked event that newer characters (D and C-rank) can actively partake in without worrying about being completely outclassed.
Feel that this would be a relatively easy way of getting newer people involved in events.

It is always easier to create or get motivated to create events where the players are in some real danger, to have them experience some of the worst time in their life as most less dangerous things are often normal missions. But the D-C ranked missions come a little now and then, we're just in a shortage of them as of now.

It is however quite easy to get some new events happen by just sending in an idea to one of the staff or GM's. They will just review the material, make some tweaks to make it possible and then post it in the pending event-board. There it will be accepted by the staff (so it is indeed correctly made and/or necessary to be an event). Then when it has been approved, it will come out for people to join in.

The land of bird has during the past 500 years had a yearly carnival, held to celebrate the longlasting peace with the neighboring nations. Hundreds of people are donating massive amount of money for the costumes and fireworks, while those with less capital are offering their involvement in the show. As the years has gone by, the carnival has grown and feudal lords from all nations has either gone to it themselves, or had their subjects attend to it as a display of their importance.

This year however, a small amount of bandits has infiltrated the work force of the carnival and has been placing out some weaker explosives along the town. Their motive? To get away with the chest of money they have slowly filled up during the preparations, leeching of the carnivals budget. The higher ups were however informed that money was disappearing and has send out a request to the shinobi world to find and capture the culprits before they get away and without disturbing the carnival.

Location: Land of bird

Rules:

Money will be deducted if innocent people are damaged or becomes aware of the threat.

events dont count toward your credits unless there is legitimate danger. this typically means ranked b or above. so most "low" end events will be in that range.

however its not just that. gms want to play around with stuff. awesome, powerful stuff, from monsters to techniques to even rewards. high ranking events are more dangerous, but offer equally more extravagant payoffs.

basically, as emi said you need to either be patient (theres been a recent lack of events PERIOD, and frankly a lack of GMs which is only now being rectified), or do it yourself. i just gave you the why.

also some events are tuned to be completable by lower end characters who display cunning and forethought rather than relying on brute force. omni's necrotic event is a prime example. he's openly stated that there will be a consistent challenge rating regardless of whether you are d class or s class. i'm legitimately curious to see how he intends to achieve that, so ill be watching with care.

Hello Nickerly. I'd like to address that even though it is a B Class Event, Necrotic Overhaul is actually structured towards newer players that want to experience and event, but not fell pressured by death risks. I made it to where even if you only have a small amount of TP you may join and have fun. Its up to you, but I'd love to have you aboard. If not please do PM me if you have any ideas and I will most certainly consider carrying them out for you myself.

I'll make a note here as well. B ranks are probably going to be alright for newer characters. Currently I'm GMing a B rank event and the difficulty for it is rather low and I reward creativity heavily. Side note, D rank events also don't exist outside of special staff event things.

Try not to equate rank of events to difficulty. Chunin exams are lik a ranked but they are designed for c class characters. It's up to the event creator how they want to go about it. Also n event can be a rank but a ninja village would get a c rank mission to kick it off. It's like how Naruto got a c rank mission that happened to be b rank.
