Kusagakure Embassy
(Created by Takeuchi)
The Embassy of Kusagakure no Sato in the capital city, Aokusa, is something that is easily passed up for what it is. The three story brick building is in close proximity to several others of varying colors and designs, yet not dissimilar enough to make it seem out of place. At the corner facing the road there is a staircase leading down to the slightly recessed doorway of the building and above this stairway is a fairly unimpressive sign labeling the place as Kusagakure's Embassy. There are a few reinforced windows down near sidewalk level to let in some natural light into the Common/Dining Area. Attached to this building is also a stable where people can leave animal companions or mounts.
Inside, the soundproofed build the combined common and dining area floor is inlaid with a fairly lightly colored hardwood floor. There are thirteen columns seemingly randomly interspersed throughout the room with thirteen tables each surrounded by four comfortably cushioned chairs. At the far end of the common area is a desk with a young woman behind it with blonde hair and slim, rimless glasses. There is a stairwell on the right leading up to the separate floors and their various amenities and finally the roof of the building. To the left of the room is a bit of recessed area with a bar blocking the general public from the area which houses a kitchen with a wood burning stove. The stocky man that tends the kitchen sells food and various alcohols, including his own micro brew ales, and operates under the belief if you can't pick up your own food, you don't get to eat.
When one wishes to go to the village of Kusagakure or seek shelter for a night or two they a must pass through the tables and speak with the young blonde woman. She is capable of sending the dark haired man making sure the place is clean to the messenger bird house that is on the roof to send a message to the village. They possess a radio at the desk as well, but the it is for emergency use only.
Up the stairs on the two floors above are a series of bedroom suites where guests and awaiting dignitaries may stay. While each room has its own unique aesthetic traits to it, there are a few things which all have in common. Each one has a king sized bed with two pillows resting on it and freshly laundered sheets, a closet with a few coat hangers, an empty dresser, and a small attached shower. The access door to the roof is unattended and anyone may go up the birds, however, will only carry messages for the dark haired man that works at the embassy.
