Kyodai activated his Byakugan as he explored the back alley's around the last place he saw Rael. He was curious what his team mate and illusionist was up to. There was a reason why he was back here when Rael ambushed Kyodai with a phantasm Mummy. His illusions had improved greatly around this area and Kyodai wanted to know why. It made that shady man much more dangerous than he was than when they faced the purple man.
Kyodai had his special vision looking this way and that as he tried to pick up clues of the illusionist. Who are what helped that shady man was a question that needed to be solved. But whether to thank or curse that person was another thing entirely. That man was not to be trusted by his eyes. Rael had proven a coward and a sneak but he was an ally supposedly. An Ally that his strength would only help the team.
Now that Rael had disappeared on a solo mission for Gosei the Hokage, it was perfect time for Kyodai to dig up information on him. Though if Gosei had given him a mission he couldn't be all that bad because the man played a interesting form of chess and was a good Hokage. But mysteries were to good to allow rest in Kyodai's mind. And that was why he was searching for clues out in the outskirts of the village.
He was almost to where he got attacked by that illusion of a mummy when he spotted some interesting markers from where Rael was standing. This place was not what it seemed, and that raised red flags in this Hyuuga. He had no skill with Genjutsu at all but it seemed to at least be partially effective against him. And that was annoying to Kyodai but also dangerous considering how Rael was.
Kyodai wasn't going to allow this to drop even the slightest as he explored and investigated. He tried to both observe his surroundings and sense the motives of his allies. It was what drove Kyodai but also strengthen his abilities. His Hyuuga heritage grew stronger with his curiosity and exploration. It was strange how tied to his state of being his power of blood and sight was.
