And once again Yoko came to the training area with a ritual in mind, this ritual unlike the one she had previously learned did not centre around deception but rather around creation. Yes, it was a creation ritual known as echoing sigil, Yoko had read about it briefly in her studies and thought that it might be of some use to her. As such, she had gathered her manuals and books and headed to the training grounds to put it into practice.

With keen eyes, the youth quickly sought out a free place in which she would be undisturbed by the other students, with her uncanny level of hiding she was quite sure that nobody would even be aware that the Mizukage was out in the training grounds as to often was the case. She sat down and laid the various books and texts out around here, where to start? Perhaps she should recap why she even wanted the ritual?

Yes, it seemed wise to first read the description over and see what exactly she would be applying it to. Yoko's nimble fingers flicked through the first book's pages until she reached the correct place in the index, she ran her finger down the list of words beginning with e until she happened upon the page reference. Page 264, hmm. The youth turned the page and began to read aloud what the general book had to say on the matter.

It seemed that the ritual like many of the others she knew was a daily cast, its limit was three making it in the higher level. Its effect, however, could truly be a lifesaver, the ability to reflect a single-target or ranged touch spell, was amazingly versatile. No wonder she had highlighted it during her initial reading. Against an opponent that used extremely powerful 'one-shot' style techniques, this could be an instant win.

The technique even had an application against genjutsu, if timed correctly Yoko could use the ritual's effects to reflect an S ranked genjutsu back at its caster potentially immobilising them. Yes, this would do nicely. But the question was raised of what items could it be applied to. Yoko referred back to her notes in which she had written 'chest' next to the rituals name. She again glanced at the book and noted the options.

It seemed that this ritual could be applied to one's armour, body, or indeed chest. So why had she selected chest for its application, she referred back to her notes at what she had noted down to occupy the respective slots on her other equipment, Elemental Immunity and Vigorous Protection. The latter she already knew, which meant that she only had to look the former up.

In doing so she soon realised that elemental immunity could only be applied to armour whereas vigorous protection could be applied to the same areas as Echoing Sigil, thus she surmised that there was no real reason why she had elected to apply the ritual to the chest rather than the body, other than perhaps the range of abilities that could be applied to both regions.

Yoko knew from past readings that the chest slot had a lot of different options, but a quick read revealed that the body had even more, perhaps that had played a part in her decision. Either way she read on into the particulars of how the techniques were applied, from reference she already knew that she wanted to apply the technique to her shirt, this would occupy her chest slot after all and thereby trigger the effect.

Applying the ritual seemed to be a rather simple affair the only real question remaining being where she wanted to make two itterations—or maybe even more—of the shirt. In doing so she could elect to swap between the items to gain an effect that better suited the situation. If this was indeed the case, then she first needed to identify under which circumstances she would want to use this technique?

It seemed rather clear from reading it over that echoing sigil was heavily combat focused, its power could only be expressed what attacked after all, which made the effect useful when one suspected an attack could be immigrant. Yoko was careful to note such down rather than simply saying it was only useful in combat after all one never knew when they could be ambushed with a stray spell.

She was also quick to note however that the ritual necessitated a weaving movement, thus she could not use it if caught totally unaware. Thus, she had to wonder how much forewarning she would need. Yoko quickly made a few hand seals to test out her own speed to see what she could manage in a situation like that. To her delight she found that she was surprisingly fast, perhaps not all was lost.

Yoko had come to the village training ground today with a few companions, namely, members of the village police force, she wanted to see what the police force had got up to with a first-hand view. The leader of the operation had graciously provided her with forewarning of what would be involved in the training session so that she was prepared. The training itself was relatively similar to what Yoko had already carried out.

The notes detailed that the team was to be running through some examples of how to defuse bombs, track suspects, and conduct general investigations, all subjects that Yoko had a decent knowledge of. Thus, with this in mind the lesson could be relatively advanced, not needing to dum things down for her. The first session was based around the bomb defusal, as a master demolitionist, Yoko had plenty of experience working with these devices.

The lesson therefore centred more around what the police did, their standard procedure if there was such a thing. Fortunately, due to her skill in this area, Yoko could provide some feedback and things that she noticed they could improve upon. There were for example certain advanced tricks that a demolitionist could incorporate into their devices to try and prevent it from being disarmed by a third-party.

The target of the emotional response must also be chosen by the Artisan from the possible options of: “the owner”, “the wearer”, “the reader”, “the user” or “the audience”. May choose 1 of the following Emotional Responses.
1. Desire: User feels a strong urge to be in the presence of the desired object or creature. The enchanted creature suffers a -20 on Sense Motive checks against the desired creature. 
2. Despair: The enchanted creatures suffer a -2 penalty to Saves, -5 to Attack Damage, and -10 Skill Checks.
3. Fear: The enchanted creatures flee from the character whenever they are in sight of the character. Emotion (Fear) dispels emotion (rage).
4. Friendship: The enchanted creatures react more positively toward others. Their attitude shifts to the next more favorable reaction (hostile to unfriendly, unfriendly to indifferent, indifferent to friendly, or friendly to helpful). Creatures involved in combat, however, continue to fight back normally. Emotion (Friendship) dispels emotion (Hate).
5. Hate: The enchanted creatures react more negatively towards others. Their attitude shifts to the next less favorable reaction (helpful to friendly, friendly to indifferent, different to unfriendly, or unfriendly to hostile). Emotion (Hate) dispels emotion (Friendship).
6. Hope: The enchanted creatures gain a +2 morale bonus to Saves, +5 to Attack Damage, and +10 Skill Checks. Emotion (Hope) dispels Emotion Despair).
7. Rage: The Enchanted creatures gain a +2 morale bonus to Might and Toughness scores, a +1 morale bonus to Will Saves, and a -1 to all Minor Defenses. They are compelled to fight heedless of danger. Emotion (Rage) does not stack with Brawler Rage or with itself. Emotion (Rage) dispels Emotion (Fear).

Target must make a Will save or be affected by the Emotion. This Save is 10 + 2 per Artisan's Class Level + Impeccable Will at time of creation. +3,000 Ryo to Crafting Time.

Yoko came to the village training ground with a specific list of techniques that she wanted to acquire, thanks to her study of the alchemical arts she had been reborn with a new body and new skills. Thus, it was important in her mind at least to sure up some of these weaker points. The first area that she sought to improve upon was the art of crafting, Yoko knew a great many tricks of the trade but she lacked the means to imbue her items with emotions.

It was this effect that she was seeking to build upon. The ability to be able to evoke an emotion amongst others was one of the enchantments that she a present lacked. She sat down and began to read through exactly what the technique could offer here: desire, despair, fear, friendship, hate, hope, and rage. Quite a wide range of emotions but deciding exactly which to apply to which item was quite a troublesome task, complicated even further by the options for activation: owner, the wearer, reader, user, or audience.

There was therefore at least thirty-five potential options per an item, finding the correct combination for the right situation was a difficult task. But due to the number of items Yoko had on her person she thought that she should be able to cover a fair portion of the combinations. This was helped by the fact that not all of the options were optimal combinations, she wouldn't, for example, seek to inflict negative conditions on herself.

Yoko followed the same theme into her next technique, Grandmaster at Work, this was something that she had previously learned but seemed unable to access due to her reformed body. Thus, she resolved to unlock this ability once again. Unlike the technique, she had previously studied grandmaster at work centred around the crafting of items, their creation as opposed to augmentation.

It was therefore rooted in a more general area rather than a specific application of a technique to evoke a particular emotion. Being a grandmaster meant that one could create masterwork items, thus, this technique was of little use when creating mundane items. Not that Yoko ever had reason to do such, given that she created all of her items as masterworked as standard. This invariably increased the value of this technique.

As Yoko read through the texts she was reminded once again of all the small tricks that a traditionally educated artisan might have missed out on. This was always a particularly interesting thing to the young ninja, the idea that you could be a master artisan but still have many things to learn in order to really maximise your effectiveness in the forge. After she was complete with this work Yoko set it to the side and moved on.

Again this next work followed on in the same area, it was, however, a bit more focused than Grandmaster at Work, Yoko had elected to reread the loremaster's encyclopedia on metal work. It was her intent to craft several pieces of armour in the coming days, all of which would use metal to a degree in them. Well, this wasn't necessarily true as she had also been considering a set of crystal armour but still.

The book detailed all manner of helpful tips and tricks that applied specifically to the study of metal work. Ways in which one could heat the metal and work it for optimum efficiency, cutting the amount of time required to create a piece. It was easy to see why this book was so highly sought after, as a master artisan could have gone their full working life without ever taking advantage of these advanced tricks without even realising it.

Yoko skipped down until she reached the specific metal section, reading over how one went about crafting umbrite, anti-gravity ore, and Beryllium not altogether as some strange hybrid but rather how to work each of the metals which were considered difficult in their own right. Thankfully there was a great deal of helpful information in this regard, leaving the youth feeling that she was now in a better position to work the metals at a future date when required.

Was there any real point in creating one's own bespoke items if they were not a work of art? Perhaps this was Yoko's ego getting the better of her but to her mind, every piece that she had ever created had its own unique charm about it. Everything embodied an artistic expression of what she was feeling or wanted to express at a particular moment, from a small band plain band ring to her skull mask.

It, therefore, seemed like only a natural progression for the youth to once again reread the loremaster's work on artistic expression, even the greats had to refresh their memory from time to time and Yoko was no exception. She carefully read through the texts detailing down the important points that she wanted to carry over to her own craft. Yoko drew particular inspiration from a select few artists and had named her pieces as such.

She briefly looked up from her book and looked about the area wondering how the items around her had been created had they been forged with love and care? Did their creator have a particular style in mind? Even a weapon created to inflict massive amounts of damage in an optimal way could still reflect the creator's unique sense of art, and in that way be an artistic expression. There were after all many different ways in which one could create a perfected weapon.

Yoko felt that she was finished with her artisan training, for the time being, it was time instead to focus on other areas of study. An example of this was Miracles and Mysteries, the book. Interestingly enough it seemed that Yoko's deep knowledge and understanding of the text had faded substantially since she had reforged herself. This was no real matter of course given she devoted a considerable portion of her day to reading it every day.

Thus, Yoko sat down once again and took out yet another book. She carefully examined the outside of the book admiring the craftsmanship before opening it and beginning her reading anew. She had read through the book countless times, and as such had particular chapters that were her favourites. Perhaps it made sense to review these first and in doing so she might come to recall the other sections?

Yoko quickly flicked through the book until she happened upon a section that she liked, upon finding it she stopped and began to read. The book contained all kinds of details information, information that could help one gain a greater understanding of the forces at work all around them. Thus, it felt refreshing and rewarding to the youth to once again obtain this information, she was sure to study up on it in the mornings to come.

Yoko yawned and stretched herself out, she had had quite enough of books for one day. Instead, she wanted to test out her new Uchiha abilities, by some strange twist of fate through her reformation she had unlocked the Sharingan, no doubt an effect of the different DNAs she had combined in the process of creating the base of her perfected body. Either way, it was interesting to know that her eyes now contained the famed Sharingan.

She had already unlocked a fair few of the Uchiha's techniques from her waking but still had quite a few to go, amongst which was their ability to debilitate others through their hypnotic stare. Yoko already possessed the hypnotic stare technique, but as of the moment, it was not quite as debilitating as she would have liked. Thus, she had to work on augmenting her powers to a new level.

The techniques themselves were fairly simple, first on her list was the ability named “Allure”, through its application one could weaken an opponents ability to observe anything else along with their agility type skills. This seemed rather useful in a wide range of situations, stealth, for example, was an agility type, and observation was used against her own stealth. So by using this technique, she could make it harder for others to spot her.
