The door to the Mead Hall open up, and a 5'4 golden Blonde walked through it's doors. She wore a Set of Celestial Mithral Armor(Picture (1); Picture (2); Picture (3)). However it looked more like leather from the way it was designed. The armor seemed to be a bit snug on Gunnr, especially around her sizable bust area. She adjusted her clothing a bit, shuffling her flesh melons so that they would be go comfortable, "Useless things." Gunnr mumbled to herself as she looked down, as the most foolish part of her human anatomy. Her Inactive Verglas Celica, shined off the light that was in the room, as she adjusted her clothing. The Celestial Mithral it was created from gave off a silvery glow. The Greater Sound, Moderate Cold Gem Energy Gems, and the Spirit amber were visible on the Right. The Greater Acid Energy, Moderate Fire Energy, and Nightmare Charm Gems on the left one. Around her neck she wore a Greater Lightning Energy Gem Necklace.

Of course even at this age gunnr didn't go anywhere without her trusty Sir Floppy. The Pink Bunny was a "Deep Pocketed" Main Pack, so could use it to hold just about any she would need. However, oddly enough, she never really carrier more than a few items. Gunnr adjusted her Bunny back pack, that at the moment only held 12 Pistol Crossbow Magazines. The pink floppy eared bunny pack, mark the girl with an innocence, that she herself had no desire to portray. Just below the pack was her sheathed Awakened Angurvadal Greatwsord. This weapon Held Both a Skull of the Mighty, and Prescience Gem.

Under her cloths on her thigh she had several Runes(Elthric Affliction Curses, and Ritual Seals). Each one severed a specific purpose, Soul Guard, Sun's Renewal, and one to assist in summoning her shield. There were also Runes, that gave her the power of Regeneration, protecting her from the effects of Fear, and Poisons, as well as protecting her for fierce cold, and savage heat. No one would be able to make out these seals, as the little skin that Gunnr did show, was clear and smooth. Her Runes were place beneath her leg armor. She ruffled her hair as she she walked up to the registration tables near the Entry, placing her hands on her hips, "Some one get me a drink."

She said as she made her way over towards an empty table and took a sit. As she sat down, she folded her arms and waited for her drink to be brought over to her.

[Spectre of the Falls(Kuroki)]

A brunette of a serving girl came over and set down a non-alcoholic cider at her table and walked off as she was called to another table. As Gunnr looked around the mead hall she would notice that it was filled to the brim with warriors and travelers. Only a few looked at the well armed child. It wasn't unheard of for their to be such in these northern climes where everyone works. Outside the wind howled as a blizzard blew around. With the last of summer keeping things alright it was slush and sleet as the cold mountain storm rocked the place and made only the bravest travel outside.

As such to keep the tap flowing and the good cheer of the patrons the traveling skalds were singing songs of legends. There were many a tale of heroes and monsters. But one of these tales as instruments played would be a bit different. It was a tale of the old gods. It was a sad tale where there was no heroes and the victims were plenty. A wannabe god stole the children of the god's steeds to have the finest steeds for his men. More according to the tales the battles still rage on between those the defend those in need and those that have proven a might equal to any god.

The storm outside seemed to be an affect of such battles across the realms according to these Skald tales. Most in the mead hall continued with their boisterous drinking and listening of tales. There wasn't much to do otherwise on the growing stormy night. That was until the horses cries could be heard even the loudness of the patrons of the hall. Something was happening out by the stables, a few warriors rushed to their prized possessions but most just looked around with their eyes round and would try to continue on as if nothing was happening.

"I said a drink... not piss." Gunnr said with annoyance in her voice. If they were going to give her something, at least have the decency to get her some apple juice. Gunnr sat there with her arms folded, not really knowing why she decided to come here today. She rolled her eyes as she listened to the stories, half truths and made up nonsense made by mortals to sensationalize history, as far as she was concerned. She just sat there bored not really bothering to chat with anyone. It was like it always was, no one her age in this country seemed to be worth her time, and the older warriors, just saw her as a crazy child.

It was then that she heard the sounds of the horses going out of control outside in the snow. Looking at their owners get up and run outside to check on them, she would walk outside herself to see what was going on. She really didn't have anything else to do in the place.

Choas ensued outside. At the stables it was a inferno that shouldn't be possible with the weather. Men were trying to save the horses and put out the fire but nothing seemed to be working right. The fire dance and leapt about almost like a living thing. This was all the while the wind howled and the fire roared. Men were shouting and horses were screaming. Several men where dragged back from the blaze as they were too injured to go on.

If one looked away from the blaze that was alive in spite of the snow and sleet falling like mad and the buckets of water being thrown on it, there would be something else wrong. In the distance one could barely spy lights where their shouldn't be. And even more disconcerting was the way the shadows moved about at the edges were could be seen as darkness enveloped and oppressed this scene of chaos and blood.

And there was definitely blood as the horses burned and men got injured. The few staying back to watch the spectacle where a few with the looks of nomads of the wastes. They were muttering about curses and angry gods. And one would have hard time faulting them with the conflict of fire and ice.

Gunnr folded her arms leaning against the wall as she watched the mortals struggle to subdue the strange fire. Her Ryuugan activated as she noticed strange light out of the counter of her eyes. All this was rather strange, but Gunnr wasn't convinced it had anything to do with the Gods. They had better things to concern themselves with. Still, there was something going on, but first she would deal with the fire. As strange as the fire might be, it was still fire. She weaved her seals with one hand and then preformed a Triumph of Ice Jutsu. The fire that was causing the trouble should dim down and turn into shards of ice.

As the Ice shards fell to the ground, Gunnr would weave another set of seals to turn those shards into water. As the frozen fire shards would act ass caltrops, so it would be solving one indecent and replacing it with another, if left like that. Gunnr's Ryuugan Eyes then focused over where she saw the strange lights coming from. She began to walk towards said light as her Ryuugan Eyes Zoomed in on there location, perhaps helping her to get a better look of what was going on.

Description: The final stage of the Kazeraikou Doujutsu forces a temporary change of the user's eyes. The iris and pupil of the eye become one and change to a color decided at the first awakening depending on their mood. The color is like a cloud and swirls around the user's eye when looking around. Small lines of white will flash across the eyes like lightning bolts and continually do so as long as the eye is active. The glowing continues and on top allows for the eyes to slightly even light up in their respective color. With the Final stage of the Ryuugan Doujutsu unleashed, it allows the user to see the elements of Lightning, Air, and Water within one's viewing parameters. One's natural sight is also enhanced giving the capability of 8x zoom capabilities. The user sees the elements as three new, vibrant, and opaque colors that mesh perfectly with their normal vision, giving the user the ability to see the three elements without hindering their normal vision in the slightest. Of course normal vision can hinder this special sight, as the user cannot see through walls or other things as normal. Once the user reaches C Rank they no longer have to do handseals to activate the eyes.

Effect: User performs a powerful Ice Jutsu that can affect the environment.

Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. Range of this technique is 8 meter cubed per or 5 creatures Class Level. User transforms 1 of the 5 natural elements (air/ fog, water, earth, fire, or lava) into to ice or snow. The effect varies depending on the element targeted, as listed below.
Air/Fog: Vapors condense into snow. If performed upon a fog cloud, stinking cloud or a similar effect this Jutsu either suppresses that effect for 5 rounds per Class Level or adds freezing fog to its other effects (the user's choice). Creatures with the air subtype take 30 Armour Points of damage per Class Level.
Water: Water becomes a sheet of ice up to 5 inches thick per Class Level. Creatures in the targeted area must dodge to avoid being caught and immobilized. Escape requires a successful Escape Artist check against Very Difficult Difficulty. Affected creatures with the water subtype take no damage but are paralyzed for 5 rounds per Class Level.
Earth: User transforms earth into permafrost, ending the duration of rock to mud or creating an effect similar to mud to rock. Creatures burrowing through the area do so at half their movement until the area thaws. Affected creatures with the earth subtype take 16 Armour Points of damage per Class Level because this Jutsu generates stress fractures that riddle their bodies.
Fire: Fire is transformed into shards of ice, which function as caltrops if walked over. The ice melts normally and does not reignite unless it is part of the area of effect of an ongoing Jutsu or similar effect. If that is the case, the flames return after 5 rounds per Class Level. Affected creatures with the fire subtype take 40 Armour Points of damage per Class Level. They also are stunned for 3 rounds.
Lava: Lava is cooled and forms a stone crust up to 2 inches thick per every Class Level. Exceptionally heavy weights may cause the crust to break.

Affected elemental creatures suffer damage or other negative effects depending on their subtype. Treat a creature with the water subtype as if the lava were water, a creature with the earth subtype as if the lava were earth, and so on.

Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. Area of effect is up to 2 areas that are 15 meter cube per Class Level. Duration of this technique is permanent. This Jutsu turns natural, unworked ice of any sort into equal volume of cold water (about 40 degrees F). The water remains until a Cold Jutsu restores its substance—but not necessarily its form. The water will freeze again naturally depending on local weather conditions and the depth of the water, normally over the course of several hours or days. If Ice to Water is performed upon the ceiling of a cavern or tunnel, the water falls to the floor and spreads out in a pool. The falling water and the ensuing cave in deal 48 Armour Points of bludgeoning damage to anyone caught directly beneath the targeted area.

Gunnr's solution worked in the short term and helped rescue a few of the horses and men. But something was still vastly wrong with the universe. The fire died down as it became ice then water but soon was roaring back to life. It was as if something other than a normal fuel source was empowering it. But it did have to fight through the ice and water Gunnr created. But it had already was doing something like that as the blizzard affected it little.

Gunnr however would observe that the strange lights was a group of men like shapes on horses of some sort in the distance. They were for some reason not in focus. But she could clearly see around them. The vagueness of shape and essence gave her a eerie sense of something that didn't belong in this world.

Looking off into the distance she saw the outline of the figure ahead of her. Her ignored the reemerging flames, she had done enough for the mortals to save themselves and the horse. She continued over towards the clouded figures and as she did so she called on the Allfather to grant her sight beyond of her already impressive capacity. Her Eyes glowed with the Judgement of Revelation, it revealed all things to her clearly. Even if they were invisible or Ethereal in nature. The Allfather will not allow anything to escape the site, of one his favorite Valkyries. She continued he walk towards the figures whether they became clear to her or not.

"Reveal yourselves to me, or be labeled cowards." This was to be her response if, their visages were not made plan her her eyes, by her own power. She was not one for silly games, and their presence was an eerie one. It did not belong in this realm. Gunnr's eyes narrowed, "You do not belong to Midgard... state your business... now." Gunnr sad giving more of a demand than request.

The setting of the undiscernable figures

[OOC: Sorry about the wait, Loki, but glad to be getting this started. Let me know if you have anything specific you need to address or request. Thank you!]

Suddenly the Mead Hall and the surrounding areas were alive with action. Behind, Gunnr people were hurriedly attempting to put out the fires that had overcome their horses and some of their sheds and farmhouses. From somewhere unknown a man cried out, "Get to the reserves!" As if in response the flames grew hotter and bigger. But Gunnr's attention would be on the men on a hill across the way, about 100 meters away and 10 meters up from the incline. The men, as mentioned, were difficult to make out but Gunnr's eyes did not determine that the figures were attempting invisibility or were ethereal. As Gunnr yelled at the men, who did appear to be on horseback, they either could not hear or chose to act as if they could not. With her telescopic view, Gunnr could determine however that the reason that the men were shakey and hard to see was because of a dense mist that continued to hover over their area -- blowing away slowly to reveal their presence. A normal man or women could not have discerned this much. As for the strange lights, they had stopped and Gunnr couldn't be sure what they were or even of the color for sure. She could also tell that the mist was being generated from some source of water, but could not find the source.

The wind would begin to blow a little bit harder and whether or not Gunnr approached them, there sight would be clearing up every second. But to Gunnr it didn't matter, as she was able to easily see through the cloud of mist and distinguish the three individuals on horseback that looked down on everyone. All of them seemed to come from a specific lineage, hosting black hair in a variety of lengths and styles. All of them wore light fitting clothes, and seemed to ride the horses well. They all carried packs and some sort of weaponry it appeared, usually a short sword. What sort of ninja would she be to let up such a golden opportunity to approach these men? But it was hard to think about opportunities with a fire burning brighter behind you, warming the back of Gunnr's neck and making the atmosphere a little more rushed. Even the metal of her armor was beginning to heat a little from how much heat was being generated.

Some of the men around here would come running back to the fire, now with bigger barrels of water that were being carried by two men. They dumped the water on the fire in an attempt to finally relieve their pain, and this time it seemed to work. The flames were exstinguished, but the silhouettes on the men on the hill seemed to be getting a little more restless.

A misty vapor arises around the user. It is stationary. The vapor obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 2 meters. A creature 2 meters away has concealment. Creatures farther away have total concealment, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target. A moderate wind (11+ mph), such as from a Gust of Wind Jutsu, disperses the fog in 4 rounds. A strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round. A fireball, flame strike, or similar Jutsu burns away the fog in the explosive or fiery Jutsu's area. A wall of fire burns away the fog in the area into which it deals damage. This Jutsu does not function underwater.

Gunnr cared not for the fire that raged on behind her. She did what see needed to make sure the horses, and men there weren't in immediate danger. The only thin that interested her was these three that were in front of her. She continued to walk towards the three in front of her. She could clearly see the lot of them now, and continued to walk over towards them until she was about 5 meters away from, "Who are you? And what are you doing here? I will not ask again." Gunnr said as her eyes closed in on them, and she placed her hand on the handle of her blade as she waited for them to answer her.

If they didn't give her answer this time, then she would not be able to stay the hand of her blade any longer. She was a woman of her word. It was a simple bit of questions that she asked, and the longer they took to answer her, the more it lead her to believe that they were here with ill intent. It was a simple thing to check for herself whether they were hostile force or not. However, she'd rather they tell her themselves rather than her prying into their very soul. Regardless she kept her wits about her, and listened for any lies that escaped their lips.

Unknown Roll

As Gunnr approached the group of men on the hill, as she got to about thrity meters away two of the men would take off on their horses and run down the hill. Meanwhile the last man would shout down to Gunnr and whoever else might be around, "Flames have come to Midgard from the hands of the gods that you so worship. They have become displeased with your actions and a man has been born that will prove your falsities." If Gunnr tried to interact with the man in any way then she would be able to determine that this was some sort of illusion or image that was being displayed, not a real person. If, however, stayed to heed the words and attemptd to interact she would watch as the man turned around and joined his illusory companions in runnnig down the hill. The mist and the image would eventually run out of time, and the message had been sent. There was no more of any of the elements that she could pick out, but if she went over the hill perhaps she could see where the figures went off to?

Around her was various bits of foliage, a tree or a bush here and there. It might become apparent to her that someone or something could be hiding anymore among these objects, or in the town. Were there others around who could have heard the man's message? The night seemed to grow chillier as the wind picked up and the fire hd been put out, leaving nothing but the lights of the small township burning in the distance. And the tavern where she had once gone for non-alcoholic cider. Gunnr had been presented with a path, as man often was, and now she had to determine how to go about interpreting this message. The choice could only be made by her. Were the gods truly upset with Midgard? Did they exist?

Gunnr smirked as she listened to the man speak. He sounded like a fool. Not about speaking of the gods, but about the nonsense that he spewed after the fact. The Gods hardly cared what human's did, and if they did speak for some god, it still mattered not. As a whole Gods could be just as unworthy as the humans they pressed their power over. Gunnr followed the Queen of Valkyries the Goddess Freya, and served Odin the Allfather, in the order. Them whims of ever other god might as well be dust in the wind. The Allfather had yet to be reborn since the last coming of Ragnarok, and Freya being the one who sent her here, many times over in preparation for the next, had long sense instilled within her her task.

Gunnr needed to find out what other god deemed themselves worthy enough to cast judgement on mankind, or to see if this was even a god at all, or just the gibberish of mad men. As the man and his illusion began to run down the hill, wings emerged from her back, and with a flap and hard jump she cover the distance between her and the man going down the hill in a blink of an eye. The 30 meters between them was a light quick hop for Gunnr. However once she arrived at the spot where the man was, he was no longer there which meant they either escaped or where never there to begin with. "Annoying..." Gunnr said under her breath, but that was hardly enough to stop her.

Her wings folded around her form as Gunnr, sighed, and began to focus. As she focused her senses stretched out over the land in front of her. If they were indeed using Illusions then her eyes could not be trusted... for the moment. She would be able to sense the presence of of anyone within 120 meter cone out in front of her. She would scan the area completely keeping her senses alert, for any notable auras.

This Jutsu only works on Jutsus that state "Detect". (Example: Detect Chakra, Detect Fire). When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. Sprouting wings and flying to the top of the hill, Gunnr could now peer down at the valley that laid before her. It was beautiful. Who would have known that beside this tiny, backwards village without the good sense to even provide alcohol, that there would be such a valley. Of course, it was night time and the area was pervaded by a darkness that seemed to linger on the beautiful plants and road that led down the hill and across the valley. The snow accompanied this dark, casting a heavy feeling about the area. From there, one could only guess unless they had a map. Even Gunnr's telescopic eyes could not make out what might be at the end of that path. As she unleashed her detection technique across the area in front of her, Gunnr would notice nothing. Had it been an illusion after all?

As Gunnr would be scanning the valley below her, a young man would come walking up from behind her. If she wasn't paying attention the man could have given her a little bit of a scare with how quietly he approached. The man had spikey brown hair that came down to the nape of his neck, and still had the fat in his cheeks from youth. He wore a tactical vest and a pair of blue jeans and boots. A hilt was strapped to his side where he kept what appeared to be some sort of short sword. "What's going on?" asked the man as he approached. "I thought I saw another person up here. Did they start the fire?" 

The night had suddenly become very quiet without the figures ahead of them and the raging fire behind. But now who was this new figure? Could she trust him or was this just some other fanciful illusion? Gunnr would have to figure out for herself. The gods were not being clear.

Gunnr sighed as she sensed nothing out there. If it was an illusion then that meant it had quite the range on it. Gunnr sucked her teeth, illusionist were annoying thing to deal with, but if that was needed to solve this mystery then so be it, she would handle it as it presented itself. Her folded her arms as her wings fluttered just a bit as they remained wrapped her. She looked over her shoulder and rolled her eyes as the male spoke. As she looked at him over her shoulder, because the range the boy was at it was a simple thing for her to get a read on his soul if he had one. Within a few seconds she would be able to discern nearly everything about the male. His alignment, his level of power, his souls Type and Sub type, as well as the general Make up of hiss class Specializations.

"Why does it matter to you?" Gunnr said with annoyance in her voice, after the quick scan. This was already going to be a pain in the ass, she didn't have time to deal with warriors barely worth her time. Regardless of what she picked up from his soul he was an unknown entity, she did not know how he could perform in battle, and she wasn't going be be babysitting.Especially, while taking on this adventure to find these individuals who claimed to speak for the gods. After asking her question,and before she actually got a response, she turned around and began to walk down the path before her. Her wings folded back into her back, as she focused on what was ahead of her. The night was becoming darker, she waited to get a start on this before it became much to dark to continue on. However, first she needed to find something that could point her in the right direction.

Description: By sacrificing a movement, the user can sense the presence or absence of creatures (or anything else) within a Soul within a cone distance of 20 meters + 2 meters per Resonance Technique. And their relative numbers and directions from the user, but not a pinpoint location. Most solid materials do not block this sense, but at least 2 meters of stone, wood, or earth, or 3 inches of iron or other heavy metal will block it, as will any solid sheet of lead. If the user has at least 25 Skill Points in Soul Wavelength then whenever they use Soul Tuning, the user can gain a general location as if they were using Blindsense, but only for the purpose of detecting things with souls. Also as an additional movement, the user may pinpoint the exact location of the soul as if they had Blindsight. In half a round action the user can gauge the Soul's Power. "D" Class Faint, "C" Class Moderate, "B" Class Strong, "A" and "S" Class Overwhelming. If the user's Class Level is "C" or lower, then they gauge an overwhelming Aura, the user is Dazed for 1 round. If the user has 50 Points into Soul Wavelength, whenever the user detects Souls, they can detect the positions of Souls as if they had blindsight. Also, as a Movement the user may detect the Alignment of the soul they can sense. If the user has at least 75 points into Soul Wavelength, then during the first movement, the user can also sense the alignment, and within half a round, the user can learn the soul's type and subtype, and also the basic makeup of their Class Level Specialists. This allows the user to make performances with Soul Wavelength at a range greater than touch but within the distance of Soul Tuning.

As Gunnr scanned the area after the man approached she would sense one soul in the area, it was the mans. She detected that his alignment was neutral good and that he had a strong aura (B-class), and that his soul was like of an ordinary humans with knowledge as a medical specialist and taijutsu specialist, with some minor knowledge in gen and ninjutsus. She would analyze this man, but he would simply watch at her drifting back to the ground and say, "Well, I've lived here all my life, not too often stuff like this happens around Deepdale. Figured I could help." As Gunnr would go striding down the road, the man would follow along continuing with his statement. The path began to slope downwards and move into the valley -- the amount of pine trees on either side picked up a noticeable amount, making the dark even dark with their shadows when the pair would pass under one. The man would be trying to keep the pace with her.

"Maybe I can help you -- if you're one those who have been chosen. I've been told that I'm a good friend to have around." While Gunnr was making her way down the path, looking for a direction and clue to go off of, the man would bombard her with his statements and pleas. If it was true that he had lived here all of his life, however, perhaps he could prove to be of some use? Unless it truly was time to hit the road, cast him off, and go on her way. From somewhere in the trees a bird made a soft who-ing sound. If Gunnr pointed her telescopic eyes in this direction she would have been able to make out a white owl with black spots roosting on one of the branches of a tree about 60 meters away and 30 meters in the air. If she had knowledge in lore of creatures, perhaps she could even distinguish it.

The creature looked at her with its black eyes if she chose to pay attention. They were deep and knowing, as if the trials that were about to take place were all known to this beast and the animals knew more of the spirit of the world than she.

"Just don't slow me down." Gunnr told the boy as she continued down the path. She stopped only for a moment to look up at the owl that was off in the distance. Gunnr was well versed with every creature that walks the earth swam it's seas, and flew in. She looked over at the owl as the boy continued to chatter her ear off talking about nonsense about the chosen. She didn't know what he was speaking of nor did she care. "Just be sure to make yourself useful, I have no use for dead weight." Gunnr sighed as there wasn't really much for her to go on. Only this owl.

She began to walk down the path and spoke to the boy as she continued to looked up at Owl, "There was a bronzed skinned male riding of horse, I believe it was illusion casted... what do you know of this?" Gunnr said rather plainly. It was best to see how useful he could be to her now she would know how to continue on from this point.

Gunnr watched the owl watching her, and tried to assess to what extent this boy could be useful to her. When she asked him what he knew of the illusion of the man on the horse, the boy seemed in awe. "Never heard anything about it, although it sounds wonderful. Power genjutsus? Hasn't been anything like that in Deepdale for a long time." After he said this, the young man would appear to get a little anxious -- looking every which way as they got further into the valley. "You know we really shouldn't be down here," he said, "not at night anyways. Supposed to be a beast out here. Heard stories. Not good." For all of his desire to help, the boy did seem particularly afraid. Or could it be that this creature was indeed powerful?

The dim light of the half-moon drained over the grassey path that began to weave itself through larger underbrush and weeds. The snow blanketed everything, making the light of the moon appear whiter than normal and making the air quiet. Every sound seemed to be heard, although Gunnr would know this couldn't be true. If she were to focus her powerful eyes to the earth she would see bugs that she could not possibly hear. What else was out there that she could not be aware of? The air was overcome with a deep chill, and the boy wrapped his clothes around himself tighter to stay warm.

Their large, round eyes are situated in the front of their skulls and are enveloped in bone, allowing only limited owl movement. Their necks, however, are so flexible that they are able to rotate their heads more than 250°. Their keen hearing allows them to easily locate prey as they hunt by night. Owls have 50 meter Darkvision. Their hearing is four times sharper than normal creatures and they can fly in total silence. "So you have no valuable information to offer? Just say that next time." Gunnr said to the boy as he began to chit chat about how genjutsu haven't been seen in sometime. It wasn't an uncommon thing, for small towns. A simple 'I don't know' would have been plenty. Gunnr folded her arms and came to a stop for a moment. She scanned the area around her, as things where a little strange here. However, it would not deter her. She looked over her shoulder as the boy said that they shouldn't be out here. She smiled as he made mention about something out here with them that was possibly dangerous, "Good..." Is all Gunnr said.

She looked over her shoulder at the male and continued, "We press on... if you can not handle it, you are free to return home." Gunnr Face forward and her Ryuugan eyes began to illuminate with light. They shined a path some 25 meters in front of them, so that even in complete darkness where that to come she would be able to see where they were going. As she walked she continued, "Stories are just stories until they are confirmed. And if we confirm it, well... we'll just make sure it comes nothing more than a story once again." Gunnr said, with no intention of slowing down, or with any fear of what was around her. Her senses remained on high alert as she continued to scan the area, not just with her sight, but with all of her senses.

Her revelation Judgement was still in effect, and it not only allowed her to see the unseen, but raised her total observational skills to astronomical heights. The cold also did not brother Gunnr, she could travel comfortably in weather of -40 degrees Celsius all the way up to 60 degrees. As far as she was concerned such weather was rather mild.

There was no doubt that Gunnr's powers of observation were greater than most humans in the area, and even among powerful men and women she could be considered a rarity. The young man certainly seemed unnerved as they continued to trek through the valley, even know he knew that something lived out here. "Uh, okay, I guess I'll follow along then. You must have no fear, huh? My dad once had no fear, but then he also went out in the valley and..."

Just as the boy was carrying on, Gunnr would notice that the sounds and smell of smoke from Deepdale would fade into the distance. After several minutes it would feel as if the two of them were truly alone. Although she did not reduce her speed, the young man kept up for the most part. As Gunnr used her eyes to light the way, she would be even less surprised by whatever may be out here. "The name is Burr by the way. Burr Nowen." Just as the boy revealed his name, however, she would be able to feel a soft rumbling underneath her feet. As if the world were starting to shake. Over time it would became more apparent that this sound had a rhythm. THUMP! ... THUMP! ... THUMP! ...

All of a sudden, due to her telescopic vision and unheard of powers of observation, she would notice something coming over the horizen. To Burr it might have appeared even camouflaged on the snow at 100 meters away. But to Gunnr, she could make out a creature that had appeared on the horizon. She wasn't exactly sure how big, but it was clearly larger than herself and had to be pretty big to be making the shaking in the ground. The creature appeared to be made out of some sort of strong ice, which kept it togthr, and had no eyes (but a slit where one could be) but two vicious mouths. One on its "head" and one on its body. Two powerful claws swung from its side as it walked in their direction. It did not seem as if the beast had noticed them yet, but Burr was positively overwhelmed by the earth.

"So, uh, yeah, this is what I was talking about. You sure that you're ready for this?" Did it even need to happen? The beast was so far away and she had taken such care, why even bother with it? Burr looked to her for an answer.

Gunnr grumbled as the boy began to talk again. He went on to mention about his father being fearless and then ending on a very precarious note. It was almost as if he was baiting her to ask what happened, but she didn't care. Everyone had their own stories of trails and death, dwelling on them did nothing, but help to foster anger and resentment. Gunnr continued to look out ahead of her and then responded, "Everyone has fears. Fear is needed, fear keeps you sharp. It's only a matter of letting that fear control what you do. Being fearless is foolish, letting fear effect you is cowardice. Great warriors are not fools, nor are they cowards. It's that simple." Gunnr then came to a stop once she felt the ground beginning to thump beneath her.

She look out ahead and saw the great beast in the distance. As she saw it a smile stretched across her face. Finally something worth fighting. The Boy asked her if she was ready for something like this. She chuckled, "Are you?" Her wings then exploded out of her back and and she drew her blade. There was a glowing of light coming off of the blade, "Gunnr Onta..." Is all she said to Burr, as with a flap of her wings and a push of her legs she shot off into the sky an a blink of an eye. She covered the ground between her and beast in an instant although she would not be quick to charge the beast out right... for the moment. She Flapped her wings to stop her forward momentum as she would have just crash straight on into the beast if she allowed herself to.

She stopped about 20 meters away from the creature and 25 meters off of the ground. She looked over the beast, as her body began to glow like a beacon in the sky. The first thing that was made obvious was the fact that the creature seemed to bee composed of ice. That would be a bit of an annoyance, considering that ice jutsu was a big chunk of her arsenal. She floated there as long as she could as she used this time to gather as much intel on the beast before it attacked her, if it was prone to attack her at all. Mostly all she was really considered with was the creatures actual size, everything else could be discovered through battle, that was part of the fun. Perhaps it was wiser to just pass this creature by, but Gunnr could not pass up the opportunity to fight the when she has had so little in the way of a good battle.

Description: Picture(1); Is a Straight Edged Gunblade crafted with Celestial Mithril, the first and only of it's kind. It is 4ft long, and was not so much forged as it was awoken, and reborn by the Magic of a Powerful Witch. The sacrifice of a predatory rabbit, with the activation of magic awoken The Angurvadal from it's long slumber, and gave birth to it's new form. It's a gunblade whose blade has a silvery Mithral shine, ans small glowing ruins along it’s edge. When Held by its true owner, a translucent light blue will radiate from the middle of the blade, and shine throughout. The handle of the blade included a black gripped handle base, a breach, barrel, and magazine port similar to the M16 assault rifle, various grips to accentuate various positions of wielding—including an extended handle-like stock to a rifle-saber hybrid handguard near the magazine—and a design finish. The Skull of the Mighty is placed on the side and a wing protrusion emerging from the top, with a Gem of Prescience, positioned on on the handle. This blade possesses cutting power that far out strips it's counter parts dealing +48 Amour Points of Damage. It is not only a product of magic but science as well, having been equipped a series of 5 piston enhancements, along with an Enhancement stabilizer, that will allow the wielder to "load" and fire off 5 piston rounds within a turn. The Piston releases 60 Armour points worth of bludgeoning damage on top of an attack. It is capable of traveling up to 5 meters forward while blowing a hole in what is in its path that is unprotected. There is a secondary trigger that fires off the Jotunsteal pistol crossbow, that can deal +36AP of damage built within the handle that fires off the of the blade. The secondary trigger allows the bolts to be fired with the piston enhancements, once pistons are engaged, or on it's own. Any who lays eyes on this weapon must undergo a Will save of 35, or be in a state of fearful Panic for 25mins, or as long as they perceive the weapon. Any successful save against this effect renders the target immune to this effect from this item ever again. It counts as silver and good for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction, affecting regeneration, and vulnerability to silver and good. If a creature’s damage reduction can be overcome by silver and/or good, regeneration stops functioning due to a silver/good attack, and/or those vulnerable to silver/good takes half again as much damage (+50%) from a celestial mithral weapon (additional from techniques is not increased, but Weapon size does). Deals +12 Armour Points of cold damage each time it hits.

As Gunnr literally sprung into action, Burr would be entirely thrown off by what he had witnessed. She jumped across the snowey field, implying that it was time for the fight to occur, but he could barely even see where she went... "I'm never going to catch up that way!" he would yell, knowing that she probably could not hear him. Then Burr would go running after Gunnr, weaving through the valley to aid her in the battle to come. Gunnr, on the other hand, would immediately encounter the beast. Giving the creature the respect of not outright attacking, Gunnr flew in the air above its "head" and horrendous body. It stood larger than two humans -- at least thirteen, maybe fourteen. It's enormous, ice like structure seemed to gleam in the light of Gunnr's blade, and shimmer as the creature swung its arms and seemed to bellow out laughter.

"Electric blue, the perfect hue," the creature would boom out if Gunnr did not attack it outright, "to cover the world, and snow was hurled --" The creature would pause and look at Gunnr with anger. "Hurled? Not hurled. Snow was not hurled on to the earth. Such fine poetry messed up 'cause you distracted me. Such bad poems." The creature spoken in a garbled form of the common-tongue, and seemed to have some semblence of a mind. Although what it sought was not clear, until it stared at Gunnr and would attempt to begin a string of handseals. If allowed to proceed, the creature would attempt to create a blizzard in the surrounding area up to a 450-meter radius. Peraps large enough to even encapsulate Deepdale. If Gunnr attempted to interrupt the handseals by attacking the creature with her fists then he would use his knowledge of handstyle fighting to roll with the punches and dodge the attack in order to finish the seals.

If the blizzard were able to take affect then Burr would begin to find himself in a particularly difficult situation, as he attempted to locate his new companion. But there were surely other ways to stop such an overgrown beast from turning the landscape into a tundra -- if one wanted to. But the snow was a friendly force to others, such as this massive beast. And if this beast called this valley home, what else might be lurking out there that would enjoy the frigidity of the blizzard?

Additionally, if the blizzard technique were to get off, then the beast would attempt to perform the handseals for an artic haze technique. The creature would attempt to pull ice shards from the surrounding scene to fly into the air, injuring Gunnr in an orb with a 20 meter diameter around her current position in the sky. Of course, this was only if the blizzard was a success. If not, the creature would act differently depending on what technique the girl employeed. He was not a terribly old beast, but was wise already to the ways of men.

Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. Area of effect is 10 meter radius spread and 6 meter high. Duration of this technique is 50 minutes per Class Level. This technique requires a medium source of snow or ice nearby. A bank of fog composed entirely of tiny, razor-sharp ice shards billows out from the targeted point. The fog obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 2 meters. A creature 2 meters away has concealment (20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can't use sight to locate the target). In addition, the sharp ice particles tear the skin of those moving through the area, causing 6 Armour Points of damage per round, half of which is cold damage. A strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 4 rounds; a severe wind (31+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round. Dispersing the fog in this manner, however, causes damage to those within its area as the icy shards whip past. A strong wind causes 6 points of damage per round (half cold); a severe wind causes 12 points of damage (half cold).

Drawback: Does not work on Slashing, Piercing attacks, or attacks that are not solidified, that hits in a mass amount, this technique does not work against NinJutsus.
Description: The user has become quite good at handling hits and taking them, they have now trained themselves to roll with their opponents punches as they come to them. By moving their body with the direction of their punch they are able to dodge or take less damage from the hit. When they are hit they go along with the punch or kick to take less damage. Whenever someone would attack bluntly with punching, kicking like techniques, or anything that is blunt like techniques the user sways with the direction of the attack as the attack becomes deafened, the attack becomes lighter, giving less harm towards the Brawler. When the user learns this technique the opponent's techniques become one rank less powerful then it is initially used. This technique does not work against NinJutsus as it only works on Bludgeoning, and Blunt TaiJutsu techniques.
