(Part 2 of 7)
Cracking his knuckles as he prepared himself to learn even more interesting new stuff from the Daitengu, he was told to hold his horses and take a seat. Raising an eyebrow, he frowned as he took a seat, wondering what the deal was. Judging by the look on his face, Hamura figured that Sōjōbō had something rather important to tell him, otherwise he wouldn't have told him to take a seat. Looking at him with a serious expression on his face, Sōjōbō asked him about how he had experienced his time at the valley and his contentness with what he had learned.
Replying by stating that he was glad with the things he had achieved at this point, and that he was looking forward to learning more, Sōjōbō stated that he had been gone from his village for nearly a month now, and had made no intentions of going back or letting anyone know where he was. Making it rather clear that if people were coming here looking for him, that he would end up having to take the blame for it, Hamura fell silent for a bit. When he had first planned his trip to Sōjōgatani, he had not really thought it necessary to tell anyone that he was going to be taking a break from being a ninja.
The way he saw it, he had proved himself by ranking as the number one shinobi from the Hidden Sand group, and that he had earned the right to take some time for himself. Given how he had behaved around the village, he did not think that anyone would even think twice about whether he was going to be coming back, nor did he think that anyone would be questioning his motivation for leaving. One thing was certain, if people actually came after him and ruined his training here, there would be hell to pay. And that was not just for ruining his training.
