"When you're far apart, you simply dismiss the other. Each is capable. If you're close enough, though, you can just kind of..." Matsunaga laces her fingers together in front of her, as if this conveyed her thought perfectly. It seemed to do the trick for the now-whole Harue, and the pinkette was confident now. She smiles, but saunters back to her pink beast. As she mounts Ōmo, she speaks. "I'll tell you what," she says in a matter-of-fact tone. "We'll meet here again some day. If we show up at the right moment, and we meet again, I'll hear you out. If not..." She smiles a little, but it's fake. Matsunaga mirrors it. "I'll know this was pointless."

With that, Harue was gone. And this time, Matsunaga let her leave. She didn't follow. Only sighed and looked back over the shop they'd previously come out of. She was gonna spend a lot of time here waiting for a girl that might never come, wasn't she?

The next time Harue allowed herself to think about the girl, it was Spring. By the time she actually went back to the shop to meet up with her, or at least see if she would be there, it was very, very late spring. Harue had to give herself time to process her thoughts, organize her ability to let this Matsunaga Niyjua in.

Harue only brings herself. She doesn't want to expose Ōmo to something that might be detrimental, and if things when awry, he knew where she was. She gave him a specific time and, despite his feline brain, she knew he understood. Circe at the very least understood and would remind the beast. She hoped.

But she also hoped these precautions would go unused. After all, Matsunaga only wanted to talk, right?

Finding her isn't hard. Harue knew she'd be here - probably every day for the past few months, she was sure of it. How long did she stand outside each day? How often did she stand in this exact spot, leaned against the entrance wall of the shop, the curtain mussed only slightly by her leaning. She doesn't smile when Harue approaches, but the pinkette can't help the twitch of the corners of her lips. Her long, pink hair falls around her shoulders plainly, only a portion of it pulled back and tied behind her head. Just enough to keep it out of her face, but allow for the rest to fall. Her attire is incredibly different from before, and Matsunaga almost doesn't recognize her.

"Harue..." Matsunaga begins. "I'm... glad you finally came." The girl straightens, seemingly finally realizing this was Harue. The pinkette smirks a little, placing a hand on her hip. She didn't ask how long she'd been waiting for her, instead jumping right to the point.

"Wanna sit with me? Have some tea?" Harue offers, already ducking into the shop. Matsunaga wordlessly agrees with a dip of her head, following closely. They sit in their previous seats, and it feels familiar even after so many months. Once they have their same teas, Harue takes a few sips before setting it down, turning back to Matsunaga. Once again, their knees touch as her 'sister' turns to face her as well. "So. What do you want?"

Matsunaga wastes no time. Normally, it would be a bit much to take in, but Harue was open to it. "I want to help you. If our brother was right in assessing you when you met in the Land of River, then you're very close to activating Tasukeru." This seemed to fall on deaf ears, or at least un-understanding ones. Harue wanted to know what she was talking about, beyond the thing about brothers in the land of river, but really didn't know what Tasukeru was. She knew a few things that could be activated, a few ocular bloodlines that allowed them activation of some sort, but Harue was drawing a blank. She'd never heard the term before. She tilts her head, a syllable hanging past her lips as she thinks about it for a moment. For now, she disregards the thing about the brother. It would make sense. He did have pink hair. So did the young girl. Harue shakes her head.

"What?" Harue asks, deadpan, as she searches Matsunaga's eyes. "Tasukeru? What are you talking about?" Matsunaga is quick to respond. She seemed somehow rushed. Suddenly, Harue regretted making her wait so long. "Seeing Life. You are of Onigami heritage, passed onto you from our father." Bitterness creeps into her voice. Did she not like their 'father'? Harue was still having a hard time believing all of this. It was all very out-of-this world dramatic, like some reality thing. Harue crinkles her nose. "What?" There are so many things the what could stand for, but Harue doesn't specify. She lets Matsunaga explain what she wants to explain first.

"Really, it should be easy for you to unlock it. Your eyes are red." Harue blinks a few times, bringing her fingers up to touch her eyelashes, almost her eyes, because they had been changing shades. She thought it was because of her soul, not because of... something else. What did she call it? Onigami? "How... do I activate it?" Harue didn't have time to disbelieve this girl either, so she allowed the girl to fill her head with this. If it wasn't a lie, then it held a lot of possibilities for Harue. The purplette shrugs. "It's like opening a third eye, but it's multiple eyes and they're all around your head. It's a lot to take in at once, so you should try to see only a few meters around at first. Expanding your mind to understand it... it's something else."

Harue smiled nervously, but tried to understand what Matsunaga meant. Maybe just talking about it helped, or maybe it was because she was letting herself believe this, but the more she looks into her mind the more she feels like she understands. With a little coaching, Harue is able to make her eyes glow. Matsunaga exclaims excitedly, the first time Harue really sees her display pure emotion, and it drives her to work harder. With a little more concentration, the world around her opens itself up to her. But she doesn't grasp it, not really, and it only feels like her head is pivoting mightily on her neck. Like a fish-eyed view, but it was pristine. So many chakra systems revealed to her, but she could only focus on the ones in front of her, or where her eyes were pointed.

So 50 meters wasn’t the limit. After some time of discussing it over with Matsunaga, a little wigged out by the way her mind reacts to surroundings now, Harue has to take a moment to dismiss her new ocular powers. It really was something else, and hard to understand, and almost impossible to utilize. At least, that’s how Harue felt, but after a brief demonstration from Matsunaga, Harue was confident that eventually this would be second nature to her. Just like soultype, just like shields had been before to her. This too would become a part of her - or was it already a part of her? It was dormant until now, but with the help of her sister, she could do this. Harue felt better and better about actually calling her a sister - she could see the resemblance. If she let herself.

”So… How do I use it without becoming overwhelmed?” Harue asks, afraid to activate it again. It was almost like a headache, a dull ache that drips into a migraine, but there’s no pain. Only pressure. Only sight. Harue inhales sharply when she does activate it again, her head spinning with the weight of the world revealed to her. Like she was a fly, and the scope of the immediate world was hers to sift through. Matsunaga considers her question for some time, the glow of her red eyes depleting on her own behalf. ”Don’t shy away from it, from the pressure or the pain, or however you perceive. I know your immediate reaction is to shun it, to ignore it because it’s hard to grasp, but… simply let yourself become overwhelmed with it all.”

That sounded particularly dangerous, but Harue felt as though she was speaking from a place of experience. She understood too well what Harue was trying so hard to comprehend, so she placed her trust eerily in the girl’s hands. ”O-okay…” Harue hadn’t felt small in so long, but now more than ever she felt like an ant. Matsunaga had the magnifying glass, but instead of burning her to a crisp, she was guiding her with the blinding light. Harue simply had to allow herself to be blinded, right? That’s what she was getting at? Harue inhales, exhales, gathers herself, and fully activates her new Tasukeru.

Was there a limit to this? Could she keep perfecting it, until she could see as far as the world would allow her? What if it became too much? What if she became omnipotent? Harue had the idea to ask Matsunaga about her limitations, but felt like that was the same as asking about mental capacities. And wasn't that sort of rude? She swallows thickly, her glowing irises flickering as she hesitates. "How far can you see?" She asks timidly, for the first time showing her anxious side to the girl. Matsunaga doesn't seem to be put off by the question, and even allows her own eyes to flicker on. The soft glow of her eyes bounced off of Harue's now dull eyes. "I can see up to 400 meters in all directions." Harue stares at her blearily, her expression awed. Her eyebrows shoot upwards, but Matsunaga laughs a little. It sounds foreign.

"I've had quite some time to perfect myself. It's in father's vision, after all." The ambiguous statement sobers Harue quite some bit, her shoulders straightening. She takes an idle sip off her tea, if not only to avoid tending that topic. It sounds... disgusting. "Right... How long have you.. known?" Matsunaga tilts her head, but after some clarification, Matsunaga pips up easily. "I've never not known," she admits. Harue assumes that has something else to do with her father, so she moves on quickly. Just as Matsunaga deactivates her Tasukeru, Harue reactivates her. It was like trying to endlessly wade into too-cold water - she knows eventually her body will grow accustomed to it, but for now, it was too much in long periods of exposure.

Exhaling hard, Harue continues to try and let herself plunge head first into it. After all, that was the best way for your body to match the temperature of the ocean, right? She groans, bringing her hands up to touch her temples. Her head was swimming, but she still could see so far out. If she tried hard enough, she could almost see past the 50 meters previously revealed to her. If Matsunaga could see so far out, she must have trained so long, so hard... Harue can't imagine putting that much dedication into this at her age. Was it something she would be able to grasp in mere hours? Or would it take months? Years? She didn't have an estimation, no way of knowing anything about something she just learned about.

It only made sense that it would take some time, dedication.. concentration... Time. Especially time, Harue feared - time she didn't have. Presumably. After a breather, Harue plunges back in again, this time determined to keep it activated. As she spent more time trying to perfect the way she handles the vision, the more she feels the pull of her chakra. It was like a siphon. She'd have to be careful, and try not to rely too heavily on something like this in the future. It could prove detrimental to her health, for sure, and possibly her life. Apparently, being an Onigami was risky. She would pester Matsunaga about it, but she was currently more focused on trying to utilize this. It could make her an asset, give her a better chance in future Chunin exams... She would feel much more confident, if she could actively know where everyone was in at least a 200 meter perimeter.

That reminded Harue. Each time she activated her Tasukeru, she could sense at least sixty people in the immediate 100 meters she could see. All of them were relatively the same, the chakra networks of strangers all appearing only slightly different, but there was one... no, two, that were significantly different. "So... why do we look different?" She asks easily, looking to Matsunaga wholly. With her Tasukeru activated, she could see past her flesh, her metaphysical. She could see to her core, to her networks. Was this what Yuri saw when she gazed upon Harue? Or was it different? "Oh, because we are different. Every person with a kekkei genkai will have different chakra networks. They're abstract, hard to explain... You'll only recognize the ones you've come in contact with." Matsunaga offers a small smile.

"Huh..." Harue vocalizes her interest, her amazement by this. She was... endowed. She never thought she was extraordinary, aside from simply extra ordinary in her ways. Apparently there was much more to her than the surface. She scratches her temple, her head no longer throbbing. The dull pressure still lingered, and the swim of her cranium still existed on some plane, but she was slowly becoming better at controlling it. Slowly, she was grasping it. It felt so strange to her to be able to see so far out, like a telescope was implanted in her pupils. She could read temperatures, she could see the waves and pulses in chakra networks, where people were most endowed... She felt truly blessed. Or maybe cursed, her head twinging with a sharp pain as she tries to look too far out.

Taking it impossibly slow, Harue finds, is her best bet at doing this comfortably. The only problem with that, however, is that the slower she works at it, the longer it takes, the more chakra it consumes. Especially during this stage, where she was trying still to control it and understand it. So she could sacrifice her head to an ache to save her chakra, or she could sacrifice a lot of her chakra and try to understand this at her own pace. She was well on her way already, and could at least comfortably see out up to 50 meters without so much as a pang. That was definitely a good sign, considering that previously so much as a few meters was way too much for her small mind. She felt like her head was expanding, much like Matsunaga had eluded to earlier, in order to see outwards. 

Expanding her mind was hard, she couldn't lie. Unfortunately, it would be harder without Matsunaga. Which was weird in itself. Why had this girl come to her, to help her unlock her family prowess? There had to be some ulterior motive, something that made this girl act. With her Tasukeru still activated, if not only to break it in like a new pair of shoes, Harue avoids addressing the issue for now. It would just be another headache. For now, she would focus on this, on unlocking her potential, and she would cross that bridge when she got to it. She knew that it might be bad, but she didn't care. Whatever it was, she wanted to run away from it. But if she ran away now, she might not understand her full potential. Not without this Matsunaga.

So instead of pressing, she obliges. She continues practicing. If that's even what Matsunaga wants. She seems patient, even refills her tea and orders a pair of dumplings for the two to have. Harue is too focused to hear the order, but she lavishes in the sweet dumpling as soon as it comes. She breaks only long enough to smother her gullet, and then wordlessly the two begin training again. It was a strange way to train, sitting beside someone quietly as they monitor your progress. Harue picks a chakra network to focus on - the server and the workers. While she had never met the people who cook for this small shop, she could see that there were three of them all together, including the server. They each had personal networks, but they all had small things in common.

Harue looked at the foremost aspects of the Tasukeru now, instead of trying to scope too far out. She gave herself a moment to study the workers, the differences and similarities in their chakra networks. One of the larger workers in the back, a face she was unfamiliar to and still would be if she met it without the activation of her crimson eye, had a smaller chakra expansion. But the size of him, the way his chakra circulated... He wasn't at all weak. A practitioner of TaiJutsu then? If he were of GenJutsu, he most definitely would have had a much larger, much more potent chakra system. She tries to glance at herself, but for some reason it's too hard to examine herself. It was like she had a magnifying glass on everyone else, but it turned blind when she turned it to herself. Maybe she just wasn't expanded enough in her own mind to see, or maybe it was impossible to read herself. Maybe she didn't want to.

Looking to Matsunaga, Harue tries to assess her. She can see the Onigami in her for sure, the pulse of her chakra and direction of its flow was too significant not to note. Much unlike the others as well, she was revealed to her in a different hue. The simple chakra networks of those foreign to her all appeared a bit blue, but Matsunaga's was indefinitely white, laced with red. She wondered if it was only because it was Onigami, a shared blood between the two of them, or if every blood would be different in those of different blood. It was a mouthful, a riddle, and Harue didn't want to unravel it right now. She just wanted to see. See life, apparently - that's what Tasukeru meant, right? 

Seeing life was all fine and dandy, but Harue needed a moment. As she deactivates her Tasukeru, the face of Matsunaga comes back to recognition. It was like she was a separate entity from her innerworkings, but still familiar. Was it because she knew her face already? Or would Harue always be able to recognize someone, Tasukeru or not, after first gazing upon them with it initially activated? All questions she could ask, but answers she wanted to unearth herself. This was partially hers too, wasn't it? It wasn't just Matsunaga's, or her father's, whoever he was - it was her's to make her own as well. To understand and perfect, and utilize appropriately. She didn't want to let this go to waste longer than it already has in her short life. At least she was still young, could still perfect it more than an older version of herself could have.

As soon as she activates her Tasukeru again, Harue begins to feel a particular light-headedness. Was it really chewing up that much of her chakra? Or was she utilizing too much, too fast? She touches her head again, thankful that Matsunaga had recently ordered her another cup of tea. This one was even warmer than the last, and the pool of warmth in her gut thanks to it was enough to subside her anxiety. She exhales softly, looking to Matsunaga with heavy eyelids. "It really drains the chakra, huh?" She says, to which Matsunaga nods carefully. She tilts her head, then takes a sip of her own new tea. She exhales, the taste of tea on her breath. "Yes, that is a thing you'll need to be careful about. But after some proper conditioning of yourself, you will be able to both handle it, and lessen the amount of chakra you use up at at time."

Harue opens her mouth, but Matsunaga continues. Harue presses her lips together, listening. "That's not to say you can change how much chakra the Tasukeru uses up, but simply that you can regulate the usage of it, and tap into it much more flawlessly, much more reflexively. In time, it will be a second nature to you, just as it is to me." Once Harue is sure she's done talking, the pinkette smile. She gives an affirmative nod, thankful that Matsunaga had faith in her. She hoped it wasn't misplaced. The Tasukeru she'd activated seems to have vanished, and she worries that she's overexerted herself for now. She inhales sharply as she tries to activate it again, only to have a sharp throb in her skull tell her to stop. She exhales, disappointed.

"Can we meet back here again tomorrow? I can't believe how much chakra it's chewed up..." Matsunaga smiles, seemingly breezily excited. "Of course. It's no worries, it's normal. You're only training now, so you're using more chakra than necessary to regulate it and make it work. In due time, like I said, you'll be far more capable." The vote of confidence is enough to ensure Harue's decision of arriving again tomorrow. She just needed some time to recuperate, because if she activated her Tasukeru again, she might end up using too much of her chakra. Not that she would die, but she would definitely feel the effects. Like a bad hangover. So on her way home, she doesn't try to activate it again, and instead only ponders the meaning of Onigami, her place in the world, and how well she might be able to use the Tasukeru someday.

Indeed, Harue did not try to activate the Tasukeru on the way home or even that whole night. The next morning, however, she feels much better, can feel the distinct pump of a full night's rest worth of regained chakra. She's not sure when Matsunaga will reappear at the shop today, having forgotten to give her a specific time, but she doesn't want to be late. Harue would be the one to wait for her this time, if need be. Harue says goodbye to both Ōmo and Circe, then heads out, her red eyes flickering alive. Now that she's alone, she can feel it out as slowly and cautiously as she cared to, no longer under the pressure of Matsunaga's superior Onigamism. She tries to start small, looking through the Tasukeru one step at a time, instead of straight to the furthest that she can see. She starts with 50 meters, only finding a few life forms surrounding her.

She moves slowly towards the 100s, surveying each new meter as it comes into view. She reminds herself over and over again of the cold ocean, the warm body, and the way the two temperatures move to compensate for the other. A few times along her stroll, Harue has to take a moment of stillness, stuck to herself as she tries to balance the weight of her vision. She was still getting used to it, after all, and if she wanted to see as far as her 'sister,' then she'd have to do a lot more seeing life than this. Resuming her walk, Harue inhales deeply, deactivating her Tasukeru only long enough to to catch a calming breath. At least it was much easier on her now than it was yesterday, and she was sure that tomorrow would hold the same amount of progress. How many times would she have to meet up with Matsunaga?

When Harue arrives, she has the Tasukeru activated again. She knows that she shouldn't activate and deactivate it so much in such a short time, as the initial drain of chakra is much greater than the overtime drain of chakra, especially when coupled so often together. But as Matsunaga had assured her, she was still in the training state of the game, and so a massive chakra consumption was going to be normal from the start. Harue is alone, really having to be the one to wait now, and so she takes a stool and orders sweet, warm tea. She reads the server's networks, trying to merge the real-world with the Tasukeru sight. She knew there was a way to see more than just chakra networks - she'd done it yesterday, but she'd lost it.

Harue had quite a bit of time to herself. She spends that time sitting on the stool, leaning over the steam of her warm tea. Her eyes are closed, the Tasukeru still active, and she finds that she can still feel, so much so in a sense that she can still see. It was a bizarre concept, the way she could see through touch, the touch through nothing more than existence. She wasn't touching anything, nothing human at least, but yet she still felt connected to the forms around her. Her glowing red eyes, even behind her eyelids, still glow faintly. It illuminates the veins in her eyelids, as if someone where holding a torch light to her skin from the inside. The same effect that a firefly in the belly of a hungry frog has. 

When she finally opens her eyes, there is no longer any steam that plumes in her face. She misses the warmth of it, but finds that the tea itself still has a cozy temperature. She sighs into her cup, then demolishes it. She forgot to even eat breakfast before she set out, she was that excited about meeting up with Matsunaga. But, in reality, it wasn't really Matsunaga she was excited about meeting up with. It was the training she was excited about, the further developing her new sense. Her new sixth sense. For some time, she ponders the similarities between the Tasukeru and the Byakugan. It was the only other doujutsu she'd been in close proximity with for extended periods of time.

Unfortunately, she didn't really have anything to go on for the Byakugan, at least in comparison to the Tasukeru. They were indefinitely similar, she knew that at least. But was it stronger? Did it matter? Was it a personalized strength? Harue spends a long time thinking really hard about it, long enough that her Tasukeru deactivates. It did take a bit of concentration to uphold, then. Or was that only because she wasn't so accustomed to it? Or did she run out of time? Harue groans loudly, sitting back in her stool, her hands on the counter top to balance herself. That's when, out of the corner of her eye, she sees a familiar frail figure approaching.

Looking over her shoulder with her Tasukeru deactivated, Harue sees the familiar figure wholly. It was definitely Matsunaga, definitely ready for another session with Harue. The pinkette smiles warmly, gesturing to the open stool beside her. Matsunaga takes it easily, and doesn't spare time on formalities. "Have you practiced on your own?" She takes a seat beside Harue, holding up a hand to flag down the server. As the woman saunters over, Harue sits up a little. "Yes, a little. On the way over I played with it, but I'm still having trouble seeing everything. If that makes sense." Matsunaga nods, smiles and places her order, then turns to Harue once the server has disappeared. "Yes, it does. Your vision will be much cleaner in time. I'm sure it's already started to clear for you so far, yes?"

Harue gives it a moment of thought, and decides that she should stop being so hard on herself. She was still learning, after all. Matsunaga wasn't wrong, and even now Harue could see the scope of at least 130 meters without feeling as woozy as she had at 100 meters yesterday. Slow but steady improvement, though it was thanks to a bit of overworking. Plunging into ice cold water to get used to it quicker, all that and more metaphors clogging her head momentarily. As a way to push those thoughts out and invite new ones in, Harue activates her doujutsu easily. Matsunaga smiles, a notion that Harue can see distinctly, even under the Tasukeru. Real life and seeing life were beginning to merge seamlessly, in a way that Harue could comprehend. 

So Matsunaga wasn't wrong to place faith in Harue. The next few minutes stretch silently while Harue continues to try and see far, see clearly. See without pain. Not that the pain was really physical - it was simply a mental barrier that manifested in the form of headache-like pangs. So far, she flawlessly see up to 140 meters in every direction, but she knows she can hike up those numbers. At least, if Matsunaga could, then she definitely could. After a second, she clears her throat - that reminded her of a question she didn't want to ask. But she forced herself to anyways, slowly deactivating her Tasukeru if not only to save a moment of swimming. "How far can, uh... he see?" Matsunaga blinks, looking over Harue before turning her head down knowingly. "Father can see up to 600 meters in all directions at a time, if he so pleases. He hardly relies on such distances."

600 meters in all directions sounded not only over powered and unnecessary, but also like a headache. Harue can barely handle 150 meters, let alone trying to think about 450 more meters on top of it. How could one even comprehend that? 400 meters sounded more reasonable, more realistic. And really, any threats found within at least 250 meters of the doujutsu could easily be snuffed out and dealt with. 600 was just... a way to show off, really. What need would someone have for seeing so far away? As Harue looks through her Tasukeru, she gently reminds herself over and over that she doesn't want to be like that man. Whoever he was. She didn't need to try and surpass him or anything, and honestly she would be happy stuck at just 50 meters. She was happy to be less than ordinary.

So she continues relentlessly in her own time, beside Matsunaga. It was only her second day working with the girl, her first day not hating her entirely, but she already felt as though this was natural. She was comfortable, if she'd never been before. She sighs, peering around her scope of the world with her Tasukeru carefully, trying to stretch her boundaries but at a leisurely, self-satisfactory pace. She didn't want to hurt herself, but she didn't want to go easy on herself. Was there a way to strain the doujutsu aside from using too much chakra? Part of her didn't know, but the other part of her had to know. For safety precautions, at the very least. Harue looks to Matsunaga, her Tasukeru still activated, and reads her temperature. She was normal.

"Is it possible to overuse the, uh, Tasukeru?" Harue says the word like a foreigner would say a word from a new language, afraid that she may be pronouncing it wrong. Matsunaga only shakes her head, but then tilts it with thought. "Mm.. well, not in a conventional sense. You cannot strain the eye, but you can indeed overexert yourself. Say you try to see 100 meters over your own previously determined limit without proper training, or you keep it activated far longer than your chakra would normally allow you to. These are all ways that you can hurt yourself." Matsunaga straightens a bit. "But the Tasukeru itself? No, you can't hurt it."

Matsunaga notes Harue's intrepid look, and moves on to continue a more lighter side of the conversation. "But you are already exceeding my expectations. You've shown an aptitude for harnessing the Tasukeru, something some of our siblings cannot even do, despite being born with the significant scarlet eyes. You were born with pink eyes, yes?" Harue tilts her head, wondering just how much that says about her and her place in the Onigami family tree. And how many siblings did they have? Matsunaga made it sound like there was an endless supply of branches and twigs on the family tree, all from their mutual father. Unless inbreeding was a common practice among Onigami? Harue grimaces at such a disgusting notion.

"Yeah, I've had pink eyes for... For until a few months ago." Matsunaga seems to ponder about this for some time, long enough for Harue to make her numbers climb by at least 10. She peered onwards through her Tasukeru, hiking up her limits as much as she can. When Matsunaga finally speaks again, Harue can see up to 165 meters. It's not a very impressive number in comparison to the ones she's heard so far, but it was impressive for Harue's gradual break in her limits. "Yes, that is odd. Pink, a shade from red... there must have been some turning in your point that brought on the activation of the Onigami bloodlimit. Do you know what it might have been?"

Harue deactivates her Tasukeru at the question, only because it seems a bit intrusive. If it was a turning point in her life, would that mean it was traumatic? Harue can't pinpoint anything particularly tragic in her life as of recent, or even really change-worthy. It was just a slope that Harue was headed down the longer she was exposed to the less happy things in life. She shrugs wholeheartedly, examining Matsunaga without her Tasukeru now. She couldn't see her temperature or even her chakra, but Harue could still almost feel it. Perhaps that was some sort of effect created by her head, now that she's been exposed to such an intimate way to view people. She could never let that go now.

The majority of the rest of the time the two spend together, Harue and Matsunaga are particularly quiet. Matsunaga, thinking about Harue's strange quickness to the Onigami, and Harue thinking about why she just wasn't grasping this fast enough. The polar thoughts never clash, and Harue continues to peer through the Tasukeru. The air between them isn't stale or bitter, but Harue was growing tired of it quicker than she had yesterday. Maybe her chakra was just on the fritz after two days of consecutive exertion of it, or the Tasukeru really could be strained. Looking to her 'sister,' Harue remembers that she'd been assured that's impossible.

Just as Harue can see almost 200 meters into the world around her, Matsunaga places a hand on the pinkette's shoulder. It's only then that Harue realizes just how long they'd been here, working endlessly, and so they agree to meet again in the next day. On the way home chewing languidly on some pastry she'd bought before she left, Harue fiddles with the Tasukeru some more. It's not as bad as yesterday, the headache swirling in her cranium, but it was still noticeable under the weight of the Tasukeru. Or maybe that was from not eating all day.

At home, Harue toys with the Tasukeru some more, curious about how many people lived close to her home. It turns out that, within 200 meters of her spot in the center of her home, there's approximately only a handful of human activity surrounding her. Most of the people she can see close to her home seem harmless enough, each of their chakra networks particularly weaker than any she's seen before. Children? Or perhaps people not so adept with their chakra? Genin, maybe? She did live in an area of Kusagakure that was less populated by ninja, but instead more civilian. It would make sense, according to her readings.
