Once she's come to stand with Matsunaga, she notices how her own Tasukeru softly deactivates as she approaches. Smiling, Harue tilts her head a bit and activates her own on a blink. "Hey," she says, feeling a bit more comfortable with her 'sister' after these past few days. Matsunaga regards her with a warm nod, but notes her Tasukeru right away. "Is this the first time today you're activating your Tasukeru?"

It's a rather straight forward question, but Harue has a somewhat hesitant approach at answering. The Tasukeru itself flickers slightly, the light from her eyes seeming to buzz slightly, before she straightens up a little. "No. You couldn't tell?" Matsunaga furrows her brow and this time it's her time to tilt her head. "No... could you tell that I had mine activated?" Harue gave it little thought and shook her head. She notes how, when her Tasukeru is activated, that doesn't really shift her line of sight at all.

"No. I guess not." She admits, then moves to begin walking ahead still. Matsunaga seems to flutter with confusion, but moves to walk side by side with her older sister. "Where are we going?" She asks lamely, activating her Tasukeru instantly to try and scout the strange change to their routine. Harue shakes her head a little, but this time only to test the way it fails to affect the way she views life. The only thing that changes her line of sight, is proceeding in any direction.

Matsunaga hums perhaps curiously or irritatedly, and Harue finally responds, still looking through her Tasukeru heartily. "Nowhere, really." She definitely wasn't taking Matsunaga to her home, she didn't trust her that much yet. "I like walking and trying to expand my Tasukeru at the same time. It makes it more challenging somehow." She's not lying, but the way she says Tasukeru sounds almost bitter. Or uneducated. 

"Oh," Matsunaga says softly, turning to look around their walk. She seems to relax, her Tasukeru deactivating. Harue tries her best to observe the deactivation, see if there's any inherent difference between her chakra before and after the activation. If there was, it was slight, minuscule. Would Harue have to observe the amount of chakra drained?

If that were the case, then she'd have to wait until Matsunaga had carved a healthy amount of chakra out for her Tasukeru in order to view any difference. If she'd trained it as long as she claims, then she surely had less of an overall chakra drain compared to Harue's own rate of loss. Other than all that, their walk side by side goes relatively quiet for some time. Harue continues to look through her Tasukeru as they walk at their slower pace, observing life as it comes in and out of her full peripheral.

Harue realizes that she doesn't quite know how she's expanding her Tasukeru. It's natural in a way, even if the routine had to be chipped into. Like wading into the water again. Regardless, she was fully submerged now and the only thing left to do was swim out to great distances without drowning and work up that stamina. You know, analogies and all that. It was the same with seeing too far out. If she pushed the Tasukeru outside of her meditated boundaries, she would surely pull a cramp.

As they continue their walk, Harue surveys the vicinity they walk through and simply tracks the life forms that move in and out of her overall peripheral - by now, she was able to see just a little under 200 meters in all direction. It was slow paced, but definitely a steady rise. Time spent with the Tasukeru active (and actively trying to stretch it out in all directions) correlated directly to the distances she could see out to. It wasn't more than basic math, really.

It was like the viewing power was on a graph. The x axis is amount of time spent training and working the kinks of the Tasukeru out, while the y axis is meters viewable. It only makes sense that the slope would be positive and linear. Blinking, Harue pushes math out of her head - it gave her more of a headache than the Tasukeru had in days previous.

They'd walked an excruciatingly good distance. Harue can no longer see the familiar three networks she'd come to recognize so easily from the tea stand, and instead she could only see what was revealed to her. She couldn't back track to the tea shop with her Tasukeru despite having been there - it didn't work like that, after all. It was always surrounding Harue. 

It was like a sort of zoom function, in some ways. Except the zoom was fish-eye and brought the whole world into perspective. At least, Harue's portion of the world - which was expanding steadily still, by the way. If she had to put an estimate on the distances at which she could see, she would have to say roughly around one hundred and ninety meters out. That's astounding compared to the original fifty meters she could view, but it was considerably small compared to the distances at which even Matsunaga could comprehend.

The walk is silent. Harue wants to break the silence, but honestly she's a bit focused on the world around her - so much so that she misses the life form right beside her shift in her vital readings. Her temperature seems to go up, if not only briefly, before settling once more. Harue frowns when it happens again, curious. She looks instead upon Matsunaga, keeping the rest of world in the back of her focus, as she examines her readings, making sure she didn't just catch something not real out of the corner of her eye. Like a hallucination, or something.

Either way, Matsunaga's sudden and fleeting change in temperature meant one thing to Harue, which had practically nothing to do with Matsunaga anyways - her Tasukeru was in real time. That was to be expected of course, she knew that, but it was nice to have that kind of reminder. She could pick up on the slightest shifts in someone's life readings, even out of the corner of her focus, and track the happenings. That didn't mean, however, that she'd know exactly what each shift meant.

Harue was left to come up with theories - rise in temperature obviously meant a full-flush of the body. Embarrassment or anger, maybe. What else made your skin feel hot just by feeling it? Or was it something deeper? Harue turns her eyes to Matsunaga, but it doesn't do much to her visual. She still sees in the 360 world view, and if anything it's only shifted to accommodate for the position of her head. 

"You okay?" Harue asks, focusing on Matsunaga's life readings for a second. Harue was getting particularly better at multitasking, she noticed, and found that she could examine more than one person, network or reading at a time. Unlike before, when that sort of division of attention would bring on the beginnings of a headache. Surely, she was getting somewhere.

There's a distinct moment of silence before Matsunaga responds. "Yes, I'm fine. I think I'm coming down with something." Ah. That would explain the spike in her temperature. If she was coming down with some sort of sickness, a fever specifically, Harue would definitely be keen to her body temperature's sick shift. That could perhaps help to identify ailments inside of people before they've taken full effect, if of course one of the symptoms affected anything Harue was capable of reading.

"Oh," Harue says, deactivating her Tasukeru only long enough to talk to her 'sister' respectfully. Even in turning the doujutsu off, Harue felt as though she was still training in some way. The continuous de and reactivation of the Tasukeru could have the same affect as... well, she was out of analogies, but she knew it meant something. 

"Do you need to call it a day?" Harue asks, watching Matsunaga closely if not only because she's worried of getting sick herself. Curiously, she activates her Tasukeru again to scan Matsunaga closely. Closer than she'd scanned her previously, but not as deeply as she would scan a potential target. Pretty much nothing is revealed to Harue, even within her entire almost-200 meters of all life viewing. Maybe it was the very beginning of Matsunaga's sickness - or maybe she was lying.

Matsunaga smiles gently and, while peering through the Tasukeru, Harue can see another rise in her temperature, but this one is less abrupt. Her temperature rises a few degrees, nothing threatening, and then she lets out a strange, strangled noise. So she wasn't lying then. Harue raises her eyebrows and takes an insensitive step back, out of the direction they'd both been going in. She doesn't change form however, and only stays planted there. 

"Maybe you should call it a day," Harue offers after Matsunaga tries to assure her she was fine. After some affectionate bickering, Harue convinces Matsunaga to head home. She offers to walk her home, but Matsunaga is particularly against that - if the feeling wasn't mutual in that Harue wouldn't let Matsunaga to her own home, she would have taken offense. But instead, she turns and watches Matsunaga without actually watching her.

Tasukeru still activated, Harue surveys Matsunaga as she makes her way out of Harue's scope. When she's far enough away from her, Harue stops walking so that she can view Matsunaga just a little bit longer. Her temperature continues to act strangely, and after a moment Harue realizes she might be having heat flashes. She strains slightly to watch Matsunaga as she moves outside of 200 meters away from Harue, but she's cut off at around two hundred and just three meters.

Harue can't see Matsunaga anymore because she's walked well out of her 200 meter visual. But from what she saw of her, she wasn't faking - but honestly, Harue had no real way of knowing. The only thing that tipped her off to the 'sickness' was the change in body temperature. It wasn't a specific tell, and if Harue hadn't asked she wouldn't have known what was up. Was it common sense, deductive reasoning, or just something that was case to case?

Instead of focusing on what was in the 200 meters that Harue could see, Harue focused on the perimeter. Looking not beyond her limit but to its edge, she could see the distinct shift in visuals. Things go sort of dark and fuzzy at the edges of her 200 meters, and the further outside of her range, the darker things where. Like trying to look into a monitor that's turned off - there's just nothing to see. Looking too hard or too deeply only brings on one of those easily avoidable headaches, which just brings her down on her own terms. 

With a sigh, Harue continues her walk, her Tasukeru still activated for her walk home. Nothing bad has happened to her on the streets of Kusa, but with her Tasukeru now, she doesn't even have to worry about that being a possibility. With all living things within a 400 meter diameter, a 200 meter radius, was revealed to her and allowed her to know just when any potential threats might enter her personal space.

Apparently, Matsunaga was even sicker the days to follow. Or she was dodging Harue for some reason - regardless, the where still scheduled to meet, but not until the end of the month. Surely, she was up to.. something. In preparation for whatever her sister was doing, Harue decided to dedicate the time off to training. In her home, Harue does a different kind of training than usual - she studies up on some Lore. While she goes to Circe primarily, the read from some sort of passage that Circe has on hand.

Harue can only assume she stole it, but it didn't look like an important kind of scroll or anything. It was a leather bound book that she pawed through, quite literally. "So, what, you're just gonna teach me about casting jutsu?" Harue asks a bit brashly, quirking an eyebrow at the cat. Circe laughs like Harue's stupid, which she probably is. "No, Pink. This is about the theory of chakra. Everything about chakra. And, I guess... how it can be applied to Jutsu." Hesitantly, Circe adds, "So you're not entirely wrong."

They move on to skim through the book together, though Harue is a bit deaf to a lot of the terminology. There's a lot of explanation on Circe's part, a lot of clarification she has to do as well. The main point that they're trying to get to is the identification of jutsu components, chakra, so that Harue could in the future be keen to someone trying to cast sneaky jutsu. If she could assess a jutsu's future effects before they manifest, she could grasp an upper hand. Maybe.

It doesn't take Harue too long to really understand what Circe is on about when she says the theory of chakra. The reading they go by talks a lot about what chakra is at the core and why it's so malleable by ninja. Shinobi were often inherent of it, especially when ancestors where shinobi themselves - but the ancestors who were passive and didn't use their chakra had lesser evolved predecessors. It was interesting to know that what someone was a specialist in could easily correlate directly with what their ancestors were adept in.

Simply because of the way that ancestry works, that seemed like common sense though. They move on from that in the reading, onto examining the different types of chakra used for different types of casted affects. Harue could easily apply everything she was learning to her day to day already, and her Tasukeru could help a lot with this sort of identification process. And they weren't even 10 pages into Circe's reading material! 

The more they read, the more interested Harue finds herself. She's almost engorged in the reading, particularly interested in the philosophical angle of the book.  She's taken the book from Circe's paw to pull into her lap and read closer, with the cat still peering over her arm to read and comment, as well as be there to answer questions that Harue had. She bookmarks the fact that knowing chakra lore could also assist her in her own jutsu-casting escapades as well.

Even though the passages are all filled to the brim with knowledge (among speculation and theory), Harue knows that she can't learn everything from the book. She can't even learn everything that's in the book through the book. Not without applying it to real world situations. So she'd have to read the book once, maybe twice, and then file away what she learns and reserve it for when the time she needs it arrives.

Before she can continue on this train of thought, Circe pipes up. "I doubt your dunce brain can retain any of this without application, so I'll do some demonstrations for you some time." Harue wants to scold Circe for reading her mind, but she knows she can't do that. They continue reading about some more of the chakra theory chapter, but there's only so much that can be offered there. What Harue learns most specifically are the basic form of chakra points, and what some points entail.

Knowing this basic categorization of chakra was extremely useful to Harue now that she can see exactly what this book is referring to. The networks and systems are revealed to her in a much more useful light, especially when there are pictures on the pages. Next, the book talks about moving beyond the components, and examines the jutsu itself. It pandered much to the uneducated audience, and most of this Harue could do now anyways.

In reality, the learnings really only strengthened knowledge that Harue already had, and gave her a new perspective on those same things. It was easy to move past the book, but Circe continued the lesson with some real world ideology. She talks about how to examine chakra and jutsu thoroughly but passively, and what to do with that collected information.

It was easy to look at a figment made completely of chakra and not bat an eye as someone without a doujutsu, but as a person without a doujutsu but with apt knowledge of chakra lore could make the same assumptions as someone with a doujutsu. It's more than just seeing, but then again, that's the biggest part of it all. But even those without eyesight have discovered ways to track and understand chakra. According to Circe, Harue could utilize this two fold.

"Use your Tasukeru to track chakra, and use your knowledge of that chakra to assess what it's being used for. One without the other works, but trying to do either of those things without proper aid or study..." Circe snorted then, as if Harue would have tried to do something like that. The pink one only rolls her eyes. "Right, right. Obviously. What's this have to do with scrolls?" She was, of course, referring to something Circe had mentioned much earlier.

"I'm glad you asked!" Circe responds, pulling forth a small scroll from somewhere Harue doesn't notice. The scroll is small, fits under Circe's arm as she comes back into the library. Harue takes it once it's offered to her, examining it carefully. Still, she's confused. "Okay..." She says hesitantly, turning the scroll over and over to try and understand what she was looking at it for. 

"It's a chakra scroll. Er, a formula. Try to decipher it with what we just learned, okay?" With that, Circe was gone. Harue picks her head up once she's unfurled the scroll to talk to the black cat, but that's when she sees that she's disappeared. Left to her own devices, then. She could always ask the stinky feline for help if she proved incapable. So she took to sitting in her lounge chair, close to a small lamplight, and begins the absorption of the scroll.

It was... beyond her understanding. She frowns, turning the scroll horizontally to try and view it from a new perspective, hoping it'll shed some shade of light on the material. Confused regardless, she flips open Circe's book on chakra lore to try and cross examine the two readings. It wasn't like there was some key or guide for Harue to follow, but certainly there where some context clues. Right?

After a considerable amount of time, Harue realizes this isn't something she can do with a simple glance. She'll need to take notes, put two and two together umpteen times, assess and dissect the information laid out on the scroll. In reality, it shouldn't be TOO hard, but perhaps Harue is putting a bit of pressure on herself. She examines the scroll for the rest of the night and well into the next day before she finds herself getting really anywhere. 

Once she finally does start to understand it, she realizes it's about a certain type of chakra manipulation not much unlike the manipulation of elemental releases. In the same way, it bends chakra to the user's whim, but it was considerably different from GenJutsu. It wasn't an affliction of the mind, though that was still often chakra based - this one was pure chakra manipulation. Shape transformation, or something to that effect. Apparently, it was one of the harder things to master when it comes to chakra affinities.

As she slowly begins to understand the formula, the activation of it begins. Her knowledge of chakra lore thus far was allowing her to completely decipher the scroll now, even if it took some time to grow fond of, and Harue could very well be on her way to understanding everything inside of this scroll. Once she's taken to reading it out loud with a full understanding of it, she's surprised when it vanishes from her hands in a small plume of smoke. Apparently, she'd done something right.

Chakra seems to be the focal point of what Harue is learning. After all, her life seems to suddenly revolve around it, at least in some way. Circe brings to attention a small device, much like the capsule that she'd been imprisoned in before but somehow different. Home made, as if Circe had attempted to recreate it. It got Harue's attention, to say the least.

She turns the small device over in her hands, examining it from all angles as she often does with things she's unfamiliar with. "What is it?" Harue asks suspiciously. She had an inkling of an idea, but that got her nowhere. Circe snorts. "A device which uses chakra - the eternal battery, so to speak. Figure it out."
