Daisan no Me (The Third Eye)
Rank: "D"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique that allows the user the capability of using their sand to where they can create an eye. This eye of sand is used for spying purposes and information gathering purposes. A simple technique known within the Sand Regiments.
Special: ---
Drawback: When the user uses this technique they are unable to use one of their eyes. Reasons for this is because they need to be capable of seeing and the mind is unable to process so many images. Lack of better words the user literally uses his own eye to see by using Sand. When the user learns this very technique the user is however only capable of using this technique within the distance of how well he is capable of controlling Sand.
Description: The user creates a simple eye that is in the color of brown. The sand is condensed to the point it solidifies and looks like that of an eye. The user keeps a small string of sand that is lined with chakra in order to allow the user to still see.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release, Must know Sand Control.

While the Mist village was in a weakened state Haru wouldn't have much to worry about when it came to being tracked down, but when the new kage was elected he would be in trouble. Until then he would need to train and get stronger so he could fight off any shinobi hunters and, if it came down to that, those three other nin he had seen earlier. Best to start with the basics, he could form and use a functioning shield but he discovered a problem, a flaw in the design. He couldn't see what his opponent was doing while within the shield, which could prove to be a problem if he found himself under assault by a stronger attack than his shield could handle. There had to be a way to see out of the shield, to see what was happening outside of his protective dome, a way to have an eye on the outside. . .
An eye . . . That was it, he needed to form an eye out of his sand. To begin he took up a handful of sand and thought about what an eye was supposed to look like. Let's see, the white of the eye, nothing more than an orb that made up the bulk of the eyeball. Chakra was channeled into the sand in his palm and he concentrated on the shape of a perfect sphere. Some sand fell off of the sides of his cupped hand as something similar to a miniature bald head slowly emerged from the small pile. He kept the image of a perfect sphere in his minds eye and channeled that thought of shape into the chakra flowing and circulating throughout the malleable sand. While the chakra formed the desired shape it managed to coax the sand to do the same, until he held a ball of sand within his cupped palm which he then commanded to hover slightly above his digits. With the basic shape done it was time for him to start forming useful functions eyes usually have.
There was just enough chakra in the floating orb of sand to make it keep its shape, which in all reality didn't help his cause at all. Especially because it was just that, a floating orb, not an eye, it couldn't be called an eye because it had no iris, no pupil, no pigmentation. Without those three things it could never be considered an eye, nor could it function as one. First, pigmentation, to make the white of the eye . . . well, white. As well give it a distinctive pupil and iris with which to see. The chakra within the floating orb of sand began to seep out, coating it and changing the color of each individual particle to a grayish white save for a small circular section. The small disk that was left uncolored was actually differentially colored to a light brown that got steadily darker until it reached the middle where it became black. Haru caused the newly formed eye to turn and focus its artificial pupil on his face.
Of course, nothing could be seen out of this eye, which was the next order of business. With his free left hand he extended two fingers while the other three tucked into his palm, this new finger placement was raised along with the wrist and arm until the tip of his index and middle fingers met with his closed right eye. The sand at the pupil of the eye was removed, replaced by chakra circulating in a very specific and unique pattern designed to capture light. This pattern was copied in sync in the back of his right eye while he used his left hand to relay the images back and forth between the sand eye and his regular eye. As expected that made a very interesting effect, as he found himself staring at himself as well as at the eye resting in his right hand at the same time, exact opposite directions, but he could see both ways without difficulty. What a strange sensation, he commanded the eye to turn a few times and hover around his head to test the mobility.
