Meikei Water Base Entrance {Post here to enter}

Beneath the water city capital, surrounded by water lays a dome. A great dome, containing a grand base of operations. This base used to belong to the Meikei Organization, having struck a deal with them, the elders arranged to take it off their hands. Within the base there was food, water, hygiene supplies, as well as beds. They were contained within different rooms within the spanning hallways. THere was enough beds/supplies for a whole village. The dome itself was a few feet underwater and contained one window. Through this window one could see the beautiful waters of Mizu no Kuni. Of course, this window was very large and extremely thick; built to handle the pressure of the watery depths. Initially this was once a cave, modified for the use of Meikei. Now serving as a good place for the citizens of Kirigakure to rest up, villagers and shinobi alike would confide in the base as home. It wasn't a temporary establishment of home, as Mist Ninja the choice to reclaim their home and improve it's defenses or settle elsewhere was the ultimatium given. Nobody wished to abandon their home of course and so missions had begun to rennovate the village and build it anew.

When the ninja weren't doing missions they could be found within the cave base. Said base is quite large, echoes could go on for minutes as one made their way deeper. They'd follow a single steep tunnel, careful brave warrior, this path is slippery. Wouldn't want you to slide down now, though it's an option. At he entrance to the heart of the base, was a maze. Easily built by carving out the old rock, it was not sturdy and could of course be blown through. All the same, it serves as a temporary defense in this time of need. Careful now, when it comes to the menu it's an all sea cuisine ordeal. Currently serving fish, bread, lettuce, and tomatoes. Of course there's also fresh water, just kidding. Many have setup shop once more so there's plenty to eat with lots of variety. Only with your help can the base be fully called home, what are you waiting for? Head inside!

Traps within the Maze include flamethrowers, hidden exploding tags, spiked pitfalls, and arrow/kunai/needle launchers. This maze is 1 mile by 1 mile in a square. As explained prior, the walls are made of stone as is the floor. The walls are 5 meters high, entrance to the base is on the right side of the image. Exit to Water Capital is on the left.

[Molokai]

Having found himself misplaced in the vacant village, Takeda walked around aimlessly for a few hours, met up with a pair of genin whom didn't particularly like him, and was found by a Chuunin hauling the final remnants of the village off to the base. Takeda had never been to the base, he had missed the bandwagon and paid the price, utter loneliness. However, once the Chuunin spotted him and inquired "What are you doing in the village?" Takeda felt that not all hope was lost in his journey to find the rest of the village. It was only after the realization that the young puppeteer had honestly no clue where the hell he was supposed to go that the Chuunin offered to guide him to the entrance.

The chuunin did his best to make friendly conversation with Takeda, only to be met with a brick wall, as Takeda wasn't interested in the musings of somebody he would probably never see again. He memorized the route as best as he could, keeping in mind the sequence of turns and passages skipped, so he wouldn't have to bother with relying on other people again. Finally within the base Takeda sidled on over to the furthermost isolated corner of the dome and examined the surroundings.

He was at the base he was here and it was a mission complete all he needed to do was go to the civilian quarters. He looked around the entrance and headed in he had no time to waste. He was ready to get this mission over with. He walked up and went into the maze. He had been through here before and was well recognized with his surrondings and where all the traps were set. He knew exactly where to go to enter the base.

He walked through and found the entrane and entered to go down to the civilian quarters and drop off the supplies to the for teaching the upcoming genin.

[Hakuturi]

Going through this place was always a pain. Hakuturi arrived at the main entrance and wasted no time in creating handsigns, he didn't feel like wasting too much energy going through here. Underneath his feet a liquid bird would form and lift him high into the air whilst going through the maze so that he would avoid any and all traps. A look of annoyance came across his face as he traveled, he had been called for an ANBU mission now and would probably have to have some sort of team underneath him. It wasn't exactly what he had in mind. "Eh, just hope these little f***ers don't get in my way."

Upon arriving at the exit the liquid bird would slowly gravitate towards the ground until finally being dispelled, Haku entering the Base and preparing to get his instructions for the future.

The Futakongo were in deep trouble, Hikumi was sighing in exasperation as Hizuka made wrong turn after wrong turn. Luckily for them their father had given Hikumi the map he made of the maze. After several hours of trecking they finally found the exit, and entered the Water Base.

Entering the base, Girama had made her way through the maze from her memory. Adjusting her belt she walked into the cave base to relax from her training.

Waiting at the entrance was none other than the jounin Gohan Asuma. Asuma had some stuff to take care of and had left Nidaime-sama to pick out his room and such. During that time Asuma went to make sure he got clearance to enter the village. It was a bit difficult considering whom he was bringing with him, the council was really upset with Mario, to say the least. They probably had their own men preparing to watch the duo's every move. Asuma would still put on a good face. He believed in Uchiha Mario, surely the man whom served as Mizukage wouldn't do anything to put them in harm. Heroes needed a bit more trust than what the council was giving, though they were quite aggitated these days.

Missions were coming in, talks with the feudal lord, generally they wanted to get themselves back on their feet. Hmm, perhaps doing a small mission for mist would help to ease the council's mind, at least that's what Asuma pondered. He'd reach for his pouch to pull out a cigarette. These were his guilty pleasures and he enjoyed every smoke he had, with the nicotine filled cylinder firmly placed in his mouth he grabbed his lighter. A quick flick and his cig would be ready to go. The wonderful fumes being inhaled, this was living. Sliding the lighter away he had a good look around now. The maze really could use some work, now that he thought about it. It was a minimal protection at best, though most of the missions involved working on something these days. Construction at the village, construction at the base, helping out in the capital. When did Mist become so busy, especially after Rokudaime-sama had issued a lockdown?

Safe to say the lockdown was definitely over and everything was piling up. Times were changing now, how would the Uchiha fit into the changing times?

[Mario Uchiha]

Mario would be making his way down towards the entrance of the Water base after finally settling into his new empty room in the base." i wish everything wouldnt have took so long but i guess with al these people today trying to get themselves settle in i guess things werent going to be easy" Mario would say shrugging his shoulders as he would continue to make his way towards the entrance feeling himself get closer by the second. i wonder what i should do first thing after i get into the village, i cant just sit around all day long, Mario thought to himself scratching his head thinking about what he should do. Maybe i should train for awhile then go out and do alittle bit of training to get myself back into shape so i know were i stand or what not, He would say smiling for a moment.

Oh yeah, im going to get into Anbu too, which means im going to meet alot of cool guys when i get in their so im sure ill be able to find myself something to do while im in their,i mean it shouldnt be that hard to fit in especially when you've already experienced leader ship He would think to himself seeing someone ahead of him smoking a cigarette again. seems to me like hes enjoying himself, Mario would say smiling." Hey Asuma! " Mario would call out aloud jogging over towards Asuma not wanting to keep him waiting as long as he should have. i wonder what goes on in his mind from time to time, hes always so laid back and calm, Mario would think to himself as he would stop in front of Asuma smiling." sorry i took so long i didnt know were to go at first, and then on top of that their was alot of others trying to get their rooms and stuff so i had to wait awhile if you dont mind. i didnt want to keep you waiting, sorry " Mario would say to him.

I wonder were we are going to be going. i mean things seem to be alot different around here so i guess knowing my surroundings wont be the same, Mario would think to himself before looking over to Asuma." so were are we going to be headed, i want to know were we are going, and will it be fun " Mario would say looking up into the sky with a smile, he had been bored all day and he needed something to do while he was waiting for the Mizukage to return to the village, he had heard that she would be back on her to mist village very soon which was good, because now he would actually have time to think about what he was going to do when she gets back.

Once the young man called out to Asuma, he'd simply chuckle; his form turning towards the man. He explained his situation and why he had just arrived. Everything was good in Asuma's mind, it's not like he had been waiting long. Likewise, it took him a little while to get clearance into the village. Now he had a good moment to look over the man, his hand moving to cusp his chin. "Hmm..." No sooner did he speak up about his thoughts at hand. "Well, it took me awhile to get the clearance for the village, geez the elders really have it out for you. I can't wait for Lady Mizukage to return and end the tension." Looking to end the bad bit of news, he decided to clear the air with something much more casual. "Oh yeah Nidaime, you're kinda looking out of shape...we should do some intense jogging on the way to the village." He smirked a bit before taking a drag of his cig.

Now having answered the man's question concerning location he looked out from the entrance into the maze ahead. The Meikei sure were cautious, to carve out such an intricate means of protection. Yet at the same time, since it was only made of the very rock that surrounded the base, the effort only extended so far. Perhaps since there was more work that could be done, he could pitch this as a possible mission? With his thoughts kicking into high gear, he simply waved for Mario to follow him. Wouldn't want the young man to fall into the perils of their own security system after all. The Jounin made his way through the contraption of a security system with relative ease. He'd seen the blue prints and went through many times since they moved in, something very important to do in order to avoid death. "Oh yeah, about your aspiration to join ANBU. If you're serious, you should head for the ANBU office back in the base later on. You'll then undergo training by our top trainer and be placed onto a squad. Doing some ANBU level missions might be the only way for the council to see eye to eye with you." Asuma would explain before turning the corner.

"There's no need to rush though, getting back into shape and making sure your memory comes to should be priority. Of course you also need to speak with Lady Mizukage. Once you do, your life will resume...albeit in a whole new light." Avoiding more traps, the steep climb up to the surface of the capital would definitely provided the first step in getting the Uchiha back into shape already. Once Asuma began to jog, he could only hope the young man beside him would be able to keep up. Sharp turn after sharp turn, careful footing, as well as all around focus was the main priority for getting themselves out of the base. Also, there was the fact that they needed to mask their exit from the base, appearing casually from the protective mist. "By the way, do you remember the alternate route back to the village?" Just as they'd arrive outside the base, he'd turn to ask the Uchiha this newfound question.

Along side Ziro would follow the Cloud ninja. They finally made it to the entrance, but they still had a distance to go in order to reach the office belonging to the Mizukage herself. Ziro wanted to question the man’s name, just for possible conversation’s sake. But he kept his mouth sealed and didn’t say a word as they advanced.

Raikou knew the base upside down and inside out! He had tried to go over the walls once, but realized that there had been taps set once he touched the top of the wall... Paper Bombs... Kunai pouches were attatched making it doubly dangerous for one to try to fly over it. Well... Raikou had always had a peice of paper with him that looked like this:

To anyone else it would look like a bunch of randomly placed letters, but it was a secret code that got him through the maze each and every time! Raikou had it memorized now and could get through the maze without setting off a single trap he had gone in and out of it so often! All he had to do to get out was change the letters, from l to r and from u to d. It was brilliant and anyone else looking at it would wonder what it was!

Akiba had found himself somewhere interesting. He didn't at all remember this here being that he was once a Mist shinobi. Things did change, like he had anticipated. So it was true. If he had tried to search himself he would find himself only being lost or falling into a trap looking for the old location. His mind would stay on task however as he continued to walk along side the man, keeping a slight eye on him for being in new territories could make anyone feel uncomfortable. And that was one thing Akiba hated. He too kept silent as he walked.

[Itaru]

Even for Ziro getting through this area would be a slight task, and he needed to be as careful as possible. He wasn’t so unsure of his abilities that he would turn around and give up at least. Ziro made sure the guest in Mist was close enough to him (Ziro) so there would be no mishaps. Without taking his attention away from the area and his concentration, Ziro couldn’t help himself but fill the silence that overcame the two. “Could I possibly know your name, sir?” Ziro’s eyes glanced at the Cloud ninja through his long raven black fringes of hair.

He was sort of interested on the reasons Raikage had to desire an alliance with Mist. Ziro always saw the two countries as being too powerful to request alliances. Perhaps allying two strong countries would make the two just that much stronger. This was how Ziro saw it, but he wasn’t exactly brilliant either. He not only appeared young, but in mind he was also inexperienced, so it seemed.

Akiba's hands would stay within his pockets, as this action normally would make anyone feel uncomfortable in a similar situation, he himself felt no need to worry about such things. His eyes stayed on the Mist shinobi, though one wouldn't be able to tell through those dark glasses. The man would ask for a name. Akiba simply continued walking on, pausing for a short time before making a decision to speak.

"Akiba..."

Its all he said. It was all he felt he needed to say. He answered the questioned. There was no need to give more or less. Hopefully he was satisfied with that but he would find this as an opportunity to ask his own question.

"How much more do we have to go?"

[Itaru]

“Akiba,” Ziro echoed the name given to him by the Cloud ninja. It was a unique name, as Ziro had never heard of it before in his nineteen years of life. They would take various turns, left and right, and Ziro himself was beginning to wander the distance they needed to go until they reached the office belonging to the Mizukage. Ziro could only hope that Akiba wasn’t getting annoyed with how long it’s taken them to get even this far. Ziro finally reached an area he found familiar, and with this he smiled.

At least now Ziro knew they were going the correct way. “It won’t be too much longer.” Ziro assured the man following him, and Ziro continued the route he believed was correct. He never memorized the pathway out of this area, but he had a good sense of judgment. This was all that was guiding them there. Ziro wanted to know more about this Akiba, and although he was tempted to ask more, he sealed his lips until they reached the Office.

The two finally had come to a conclusion that the distance they were traveling was all but short. Left, right, twists and turns. The Mist made sure that whoever was taken through here would have to venture several more times before they memorized where everything was. It was a hall maze. Akiba was interested in what might have happened if he had went and took a wrong turn somewhere. Most likely a deadly trap for an intruder. Those who simply had no business here had made it the same way.

Finally the two would come to their end of the maze soon, as the destination was soon upon them. Akiba wanted the treaty signed and then wanted out. His past wasn't dying anytime soon and his anger for the Mist indeed was going nowhere either but he was taught his role as a ninja before a person. This was for the good of Cloud.

Just like before he would find himself here in the maze that he was brought through before. His memory served him well, as he ventured through the maze, taking the right steps and turns he would find himself not being targeted by anything, or anyone. It was impressive. Something as massive as this being memorized and then ventured through after just one go. That was the ability of a well skilled shinobi, which this man, if never before, had just proved what he was here.

He traveled for about half an hour. He figured he'd head to Konoha to get the treaty signed there, then return to see if the Mizukage would make her way here. Might was well use the time he had, now that he had created some time. He was going to familiarize himself with Mist as he trained here, learning to love it like he once use to.

The two needed some fresh air, so Hizuka wandered aroudn the maze. Luckily for him he could remember how to backtrack or they would be in deep trouble with Hikumi asleep. Even then it still took a good hour to escape the maze and into daylight.

Raikou stood at the gate of the Meikei Water Base. This was it... His first mission requiring him to leave his home. Raikou smiled and swelled with pride! He was like his dad now! Gone from home on missions! Raikou laughed with pleasure. Aya sat on his head and wagged her tail, sensing that Raikou was happy. Raikou smiled and reached up past his mist headband.

"Well Aya... we're off! Hey! Race you through the maze!" Raikou laughed. Aya jumped off his head and had a head start. "hey! No fair! Come on Aya!" Raikou focused his chakra on his nose and followed the scent of the majority of people. This was the fastest way out rather than looking at his sheet of turns! This time, he wasn't coming back until he completed his mission! Find five planners and bring them back to the Base! This was going to be exciting!

After about fifteen minutes, Neoku had found himself at the entrance of the Meikei base. He was ready for his first mission and knew exactly what he wanted. Tai also wanted to do the mission in mind, but he'd be doing it. He was in charge for the moment and meant to make the most of his time. Remebering exactly which direction the entrance to the actual base was, Neoku quickly activated his dark ki. A moment later, he was engulfed in a shadow that took him a distance within the maze. Quickly, he navigated the rest of distance, using skill to avoid most of the traps. In due time, he made it into the base and head toward the office meant to contain the mizu kage and her assistants
