Now back on the all too familiar plains of his homeland, Matsu would attempt to learn another jutsu while he killed some time until the meeting with his team and the Kusakage later. Getting right into it, Matsu decided to start building up his chakra before he started the execution of the hand seals. Slowly he could feel it move through him, the system of all life that lived side by side with the circulatory system in the human body as one. Once he had built the appropriate chakra he nodded, he was ready to begin.
Slowly he released the chakra, guiding it down through the circulatory system in his legs and out through his feet. In a few moments he had managed to divert all of the chakra he had been storing downward into the surrounding field around him. Several patches of grass had begun to stand on end in reaction to the infusion of chakra. "So this is what it should look like..." thought Matsu as he prepared for what would come next.
Looking over to a nearby fence post, long gone was the fence it belonged to so he saw no harm in using it for the target of his ability. With a sudden spike in his chakra levels, Matsu sent the grass from the patches, ten needles in all soaring in a quick and deadly fashion towards the lone fence post. Upon impact they did not stick into the post due to his lack of chakra placement. Matsu clicked his tongue and thought for a moment on what he would do next.
Chakra buliding to his feet was something he had always been adept at, it was why he was a ninjutsu master. The level of pain in his feet was an indicator of how much chakra he was using in this next attempt. Once an adequate source had been built, Matsu made the hand seals quickly and launched the grass needles towards the fence post. Almost silently they cut through the air, their aero dynamic shape making them virtually soundless. With several thuds they stuck, four out of the ten had made it into the wood without meeting enough resistance to keep them out.
Almost perfect, one more time and he was sure that he would be able to call on this skill in the middle of battle with no problem at all. Building up chakra almost effortlessly, Matsu channeled it into the ground beneath him which caused the grass to ripple and sway to an invisable wind. The grass around him slowly spiked up into several little grass needles around him. With a series of hand seals he was able to turn and launch a mini barrage of ten grass needles that would stick into the wooden beam.
