Reigning in a new Era [Event]

Now, this had certainly proven strange. A quick flicker of movement, and the second use of Shunshin was performed to take me away from the situation here. Looking around, eyebrows raised, I would take a look over the area struck hard by the fallen spears of Rain. As a former Amekage, I was quite aware that this technique was a secret technique of the Rain Village. I had let no individual learn it during my reign, and I could not recall Kazuya or even Souzen giving permission to anyone to learn it, either. That meant that there was something strange going on here. The only people who had constant access to the scrolls were, quite simply, the Amekage his or herself. That meant that the individual who had to be responsible for the attack had to have a former Amekage- unless there were secrets that hadn't been shared with the rest of the Ame shinobi.

A grim smile filled my face. I knew now, of course, that this person absolutely had to be Uchiha Koga, the former Amekage; and the person who had been standing next to him was, of course, Souzen, the Amekage that had been previous to my own reign. How strange it was that there should be three Amekage standing in the same spot, and all of them except for one supposed to be dead. Musing over this information, I would find myself looking up, and as I did so, I would find my eyes staring straight into the eyes of Muteki Arashi. Hidden behind a cloak so as not to be noticed, it certainly wasn't surprising that I hadn't noticed him before this time.

That meant... four Amekage, and a fifth one supposedly on the way to make a speech to the fellow Shinobi of Amegakure. This was indeed a strange time. I wouldn't call out or make any extra attention to the cloaked figure that I was absolutely sure had been the source of the attack. Instead, I decided that I would much rather prefer to observe the follow scenario without actually being there. A quick flick of the wrist, and the symbols of the zodiac would flash through the fingers of my left hand, forming the half-shaped signs that would grant my Ninjutsu its' strength. At the final seal, that of the Ram, my body would seem to fade away into nothing, as Meisai Gakure granted me stealth.

Moving quickly away from my original position, I would instead decide to move closer towards our illustrious fourth Amekage. It couldn't hurt to be near to him in case I needed to act, either in his defense or to quickly dispatch of him. While I moved, my right hand would slowly reach down towards my weapons pouch to ensure that I was truly prepared for what I might need to do. Armed with the weapon that was pulled out, at this time only the actions taken within the next few minutes would determine the fate of those who stood around here.

Mere moments would pass as Souzen's gaze rested upon the Godaime's imposter, waiting for a response. Suddenly a movement, almost imperceptable to his right would alert him of another new entrant into this conversation. Hitsugaya Syoara...jaw tightening he would say nothing at her entrance, wishing he could just leave and be gone. He had no illusions that his disquise would be uncovered by her astute perception. However, Souzen's fear would never come to pass.

Spears of water would shoot into the godaime, causing a bloody spray of crimson to engulf the crowd. Azure occuli taking but an instant to register the scene Souzen would react instantly, the imperceptable six sense that had saved his life on many occasion telling him to flee from Koga's form. Swift usage of the shunshin technique and his own prodigious speed would carry him out of the blast radius. Sugegasa tipped off of his crown by the concussion of the blast he would immediately draw his sword, vengence within his breast. Someone would have to pay for the blood spilt this day...

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: The Warrior of the Senkou Kensei Kenshiki style within the Kurçjî Ryuu Hiden discipline must have an understanding of random movements to better combat against those around him. For that they must be capable of feeling out attacks, seeing an attack before it happens from behind or being flanked before it happens. Depending on the rank of the technique the user is capable of reacting through subconscious mind against attacks against the user in different manners such as being flanked, and from behind. This technique makes the Kurçjî Ryuu Hiden discipline fighter incapable of being surprise attacked.

Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Kurçjî Ryuu Hiden discipline fighter is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. Whenever a disciple of Kurçjî Ryuu Hiden walks around they act awkward, they are never normal. They seem to be oblivious towards their surroundings but they are always aware, never tense. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.

Effect: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported.
Special: ---
Drawback The user is only capable of doing this THREE Times per day after learning it the first time. Each time learned the user is capable of going into this multiple times. Each time learned the user is capable using this technique an extra turn per day. If the user uses this technique more then stated, the user's muscles will cramp and render the user unable to run about.
Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported.

Turning around and leaning up against the booth in his seat he would see that there was indeed something going on. It was getting to suspicious around here. A quick smile was flashed at Raiha before Hiro took another gulp of his drink. Raiha was right. There was something going on here, but what? Hostile actions were bound to happen. He could tell from the group of people that surronded. His puppet would immediatly be pulled from his back and sat in the chair in front of the two boys just in case, strings already attached.

"Yeah, what exactly is going on here."

Looking over to the man in the cloak that had appeared and the others that surronded the man. Spears had impaled the man, but not before he could set off some parting gifts.

In the chair in front of the two boys a puppet would snap to life and unfold a fan from its arms. The young puppeteer had put in some work on his puppet skills over the past year, and today it was going to prove use full. Though the kunai could not really do much damage due to the range at which the two sat, just in case a jutsu he had learned would be put into place. A shield of chakra would be stretched across the sheild and take the blow of anything flying towards the two, or so he hoped.

Effect: A technique used by puppet masters, this jutsu creates a shield using chakra emitted from panels that are released from a puppet's arms. This chakra shield can protect the user from several hazardous attacks; however, enough clotting force (such as Iron Sand) can clog up the puppet arm joints and render the shield useless.
Special: Must be a Puppeteer
Drawback: If the puppet arms clog up around the joints the technique is useless.
Description: The puppet brings its arms up having the hands together as the flaps open up, showing that the flaps are in a design of an "X". By concentrating on the chakra the user is capable of creating a chakra shield to block on coming attacks. When used the user is capable of blocking "A" to "S" rank attacks. The problem is that the user can not guess what will be coming towards them, so if the user wishes to stop an "S" Rank technique, then the user uses a higher amount of chakra.
Limit: Must have the Arm Fan for Chakra Shield within each arm.

Alerted by the noise of the screaming people below, the Amekage would make his way to the edge of the building just in time to watch an explosion take place. This was not suppose to happen, not yet! His anger would rise upon his face, he thought he had dealt with the councils interference! With a scowl he would look down from above, the only face he was able to make out from the crowd being Kaori's. Anger swelled within him as he was forced to make his appearance sooner rather then later, seeing as how things were going to hell. Vanishing into a swirl of rain droplets, the Amekage would transport himself onto the stage that had been erected and let his voice boom forth from the microphone. "Everyone is to cease all hostilities at once!" a harsh, bitter tone would cry out as he let his fierce eyes splay out over the crowd. Should he be required to act, he would in a heart beat.. however he hoped his command was enough.

Shaken, he would throw aside the robes of his office only to reveal a black shirt and pants. Covering his chest was a flak jacket (No slot or protection, just clothing), his headband securely tightened about his forehead. He was ready for combat, yet it was the last thing he had intended to do today. "You have until the count of four to cease, and then things become hell around here.." he stated with a devilish tone as he prepared hand seals of his own. A split second and he would have them all upon their knee's, he would release the Hell's Shriek technique through the speakers if he had to and render them all disoriented, even himself. What had the citizens of Ame done to deserve to be caught in such a blood bath? And who was it that had started such a mess? He would find out soon enough.

Still waiting for an answer from Mare, Kaori would sigh a bit, moving her hand up to brush away hair from her eyes. Then, something very unexpected happened, especially at an event where the body count was supposed to remain at zero. An explosion went off, and immediately Kaori's sand would come through her gourd to protect her. The sand made a full circle around her, the cork that had once been in her gourd now on the ground. The explosion itself remained in the crowd, while she remained just on the outskirts of it. So the only thing that she really had to worry about was any sort of debris. It appeared as if it was contained, but her sand acted by itself.

The young Kaguya then looked back, spotting a face she knew in the crowd, as well as many unfamiliar ones. Many people were screaming and trying to flee, while others seemed to be protecting themselves from this devastation. Kaori simply stood there, unsure of what to do exactly. This wasn't her fight. Hell, she didn't even know what had happened. It didn't take long for the new Amekage to take the stage and address the situation personally. Kaori sighed a little bit; she had hoped this corruption would be gone, but it's still here. There's still fighting and blood in the streets. She looked at Yajuu and waved.

"Hey Yajuu."

Mare would notice a Kunochi would appear by his side. "Yeah... you can join me" he said with a smile. "My names Mare... whats yours" he said as he looked out in the distance. Then something happened in an instant. There was a huge explosion... and the sand from his gourd rushed out... and protected him from the blast. Then he saw something else that cought his interest. "That girl... she also used sand to save herself" he mumbled to himself. "I guess your a sand user too" he said with a small grin as he looked into the distance.

Was that explosion... was the doing of Syoara he thought to himself. He didn't know what to do... but he needed to check it out some more if he wanted to help Syoara if it is her. Then the Amekage rushed to the stage... and identified the situation and ordered no more hostialities would take place. "Hmm... I kind of like this guy" Mare said with a smirk. Maybe I can get him to pledge alliegence to Syoara... the Amekage under he influence... can greatly benefit his mind he thought as a small smile went on his face.

He didn't want to attack or do anything now... like the Amekage ordered, but if anymore actions happened... he would investigate and maybe attack. But for now... all he had to do is relax... and enjoy the festival... it seemed better now with a hint of blood in the mix. The crowd seemed more alive and aware now... and it is Ame after all. Some things never change... never change.

Anquished screams of pain and despair rent the air. The coppery taste of blood was almost palpable in the air as Souzen's mind reeled from what had just happened. Stunned, he would wander aimlessly amongst the crowd, inarticulate words coming from his mouth. His mind struggling to come to grips with the situation. Had the council not been defeated? A new generation was to born, free of the corruption and bloodshed? Now they would grow up forever knowing the fear and terror he had been raised in. Tears freely flowing from cerulean eyes Souzen would stop and kneel to the ground. The enormity filling his soul with naught but a void...nothingness.

Moments would pass, his form, now bereft of any nobility still laying prone upon the ground. Then, a fevered glint within his eye he would rise, pushing citizens out of the way furiously as he headed to the Odawara district of Amekagure, all the while muttering, his voice dazed and confused.

"I must get my family....must get out..Moyoushi...so much blood..blood everywhere...blood on my hands..."

Onwards he travelled, brandishing his sword as people fell from his path in fear...his family would not suffer from the ceaseless bloodshed.

From my invisible position, I continued to watch as the chaos ensued from the death of the one who had been known as Uchiha Koga. It was surprising, to say the least, at how quickly and efficiently someone who had held the title of Amekage could be dispatched. A casual smile appeared upon my face as I glanced about the crowd. Making use of this time, I would quickly step away from Muteki and make my way towards one of my puppets, the individual known as Mare. As his sand ninjutsu protected him from harm, so too would it most likely alert Mare to my presence. With a quick, insistent whisper, I would speak, although I would remain invisible.

"Stay here, Mare. Do not leave until the festival is over." And with that, I would leave, my steps taking me quickly towards the direction of Souzen. It didn't matter that Mare was near a girl who would most likely hear my whisper as well. How could you trust a disembodied voice? Only Mare would know the significance of what was being said. I needed to keep an eye on him, that much was for certain. He was moving quickly, his appearance was that of a very confused person. As I continued to watch this, I became most sure of the fact that Souzen was indeed shaken by the events that had just occurred. I could use this if I timed it correctly.

As such, following him away, would I escape, under the darkness and ninjutsu, towards Souzen's family estate.

As Kouga was lending against the table with a drink in his hand, he would sigh before takin a sip. Then something completely unexpected happen, especially at an event where the new Amekage is suppose to make his first appearance and reveal himself to everyone within the village. An explosion went off during the festival, as Kouga and his partner Haimaru immediately lowered and ducked down to the floor, crouching down to avoid any sort of weapons or debrie that was flying through the air.He was shocked that someone would be so disrespectful and crazy to attempt to ruin the festival and perhaps attempt to assassinate the new Amekage with everyone in the village as a witness. It was most shocking to Kouga that someone would be brave enough to even attempt to attack the Amekage in a festival filled with the shinobi of the village. As Kouga and Haimaru duck to avoid any sort of debrie, he noticed that his teammate Zag had came to the festival as well. "Yo Zag, over here!" Yelled Kouga, knowing that it might be hard to hear with all the citizens of the village screaming in terror. turning his head, Kouga looked up and noticed that his sensei who is the new Amekage was on stage, yelling and telling everyone to cease all hostilities at once. Knowing that his sensei was dead on serious. Kouga began to look around, trying to find the one who attacked, since their are several shinobi within here which would make it hard to find the attacker.

It was over now. The explosion seemed to drag people closer into the action. New faces were showing up now, maybe word had already spread. His puppet would retreat back and he would turn and look at Raiha to make sure that he was ok. It looked like everything was fine. Tenshi, the puppet had taken all the rough. A sigh came out of the young puppeteer as he looked at his puppet. "You need repaired now." He talked to his puppets as if they could understand him and always treated them with the upmost care.

Turning back to Raiha a smile would come across the optimistic boys face. "Everything ok?" After he had said this his eyes would finally catch the aftermath of the attack. So many innocent had died here. An era of peace already bought in by distraught. He quickly turned his head back to his fellow shinobi, and brushed his puppets hair back from its eyes, nervously.

"What has become of Ame?"

The festivale had changed in seconds from a bustling crowd of villagers into a riot to escape, somewhere an explosion had gone off, Zags first thought was another attempt to kill an amekage was going down, he started towards the exit as well, he did'nt want to be anywhere near the center of this chaos, suddenly he heard shouting coming from overhead, he saw Kazuya in the kages robes, he stopped in his tracks from surprise, 'I find out about his promotion now.' he thought, the scared cries of the villagers made it to difficult to hear what he was saying, but it was clear he was addressing the agitators whom started the riot.

Through the rabble of the crowd he could make out some calling his name, he turned in the direction it came from and saw kouga with haimaru taking cover, he forced himself through the tide of terrified people to their location, he knelt down so he could speak with them "Kouga, you ok? i heard the explosion but i did'nt see what actually happened or where it came from.", he reached back and grabbed one of his dai shuriken, not that he'd get a clear shot in this chaos

As Muteki’s strike hit home, causing a deadly blow to the opponent, He smirked under his hood. He lost sight of both Syoara and Souzen for a second, as they appeared to vanish, and then ‘KABOOM”. The explosion in the nearby area caught him by surprise. Apparently the bastard wasn’t worried about innocent lives. He could kind of say the same for himself, but to scourge the scum from the earth like he had just done, you needed to get a little blood on your head. Ame had seen blood before, and it wouldn’t be the last time most likely. Dropping his hood as the recoil from the explosion ended, he could fee his body healing the minor burns his outer coating had received. Nothing serious, but still annoying. He strode forth towards the now deceased ninja, who lay there on the street. The village inhabitants, at least those of the non-ninja variety had already fled in panic, out of sight.

A small crater had been created in the pavement, and aside from the shrapnel that had flown from him in the other directions, Muteki could see the rest of him at the bottom of the hole. Stepping down into it, Muteki would seem to be inspecting the body for what ever it was that had happened, though he was already sure of part of it. He didn’t want to get blamed for this fiasco, so he felt it better he make himself act as any other ninja in the village should…by investigating the area of the crime. Inside the hole, obscured from outside view, Muteki pushed around the fragments of head, piecing them together like a puzzle. He was almost certain it was the real Koga. Any kind of transformation technique should have already worn off if it wasn’t. As he rummaged through the scant few remains, he found the small metallic tarnished pieces of ryo that the man had carried with him. Brushing the dirty pieces together, he stuffed them in his own money pouch. Along with the ryo, Muteki was surprised by one other discovery. A group of scrolls were rolled up together, made on thick and durable parchment. they looked just like that of the village of rain scrolls. the outside of the scrolls had a bit of charring, but apparently his the water from the water spears must have put it out. Grasping them he shoved them inside his pouch with his other scrolls. Other then that there was nothing for him to do here, other then perhaps alleviate the new kage.

Muteki had to admit, the way he took charge after the odd occurrence was remarkable. If only Koga had been so forceful and unyielding the council may not have become so filthy. Hopping out of the hole, he strutted towards the kage with his cloak trailing behind him. This was yet another member of the resistance he had met before, yet didn’t know well. Kazuya was his name if he recalled correctly, had been a fighter on the front lines, keeping his mind and mouth in affairs of the rebellion, while Muteki contented himself with participating only in the important fights, and using his skills to train younger resistance members. As he reached the platform near the kage, Muteki stopped and spoke in a almost to pleasant and friendly manner, almost as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened.

“Oy, Kage-sama. From my analysis, that was my successor to the kageship of Ame. Name was Koga. A little betrayer. As far as I can tell, it looks like someone hit him with our own Four rain drops technique, but the explosion is still unaccounted for. The four rain drops cant do that to my knowledge. It is, or rather was the assumed deceased koga. Nice job taking charge like that by the way. Good to see a kage who actually takes the front. Havent seen anyone else do that since…well…probably since my predecessor. I think you’ll do alright.”

With the words exiting his mouth Muteki adjusted his cloak. The wind was beginning to pick up, and he could feel another one of Rains trade mark storms coming. Hopping up onto the stage rather gracefully, he stretched his arm out to place it on the shoulder of Kazuya.

“Hey, since your ceremony has kinda gone down the shitter here, how bout I buy you a drink eh? We’ll wash away the troubles of today, and drink to a brighter tomorrow. Rain has always been bathed in blood, lingering on this incident would seriously impede your abilities as a kage.”

Muteki was trying to help, trying to show him how to overcome the pain he knew came with each innocents death. You cant linger, only continue forward. And though you may mourn them, you must chalk it up, and let it be until your goal is accomplished, hoping they haven’t died in vein. He supposed this lesson he was trying to teach the new kage, was something he had had to learn on his own, and because he had spent the better part of the last year as basically a teacher, it was hard not to try and educate.

Kazuya would watch as the activity came to a screeching halt, which at least meant that he had managed to stop any further actions. Sighing with relief, he would let his tense stance slip free and stare out into the crowd. That was when his aqua eyes would notice a cloaked figure coming closer to himself. Cloaked figures were never truly a sign of good will, something to trust in any way. His body once more on edge, Kazuya would only watch as he finally stopped some few feet from himself. "Well that is possible, since I did invite Koga here. However no one should know that technique here.. there is only a few people who've even heard of it.." he said raising an eyebrow at this. He would have to investigate this matter personally, the death of a Kage was something that he could not let go so lightly. Turning to the mic he would once more announce to his people. "This festival is over, go home. It seems we have much to do before we're ready for these still.." he said with a stern, disappointed tone as he turned back to Muteki.

"As much as I'd love to, I do not drink. I've also got alot of work to do.." he said with a soft sigh as he let his eyes sweep over the crowd that was starting to dissappate more so now. Where they all so stupid that they stuck around in a Shinobi fight? Silly citizens. Shining blue eyes would follow the opening path through the crowd as his body started to do the same. Moving down from the stage, he would move on past the cloaked man and down to where the explosion happened. He was sure there would be nothing left, it was quite the explosion from what he could tell. A simple sigh would escape his lips as he put his palm over his face and shook his head. He had wished to speak with Koga.. how could this have happened at such an event? Squatting down, he would run his fingers over the scorched earth and sigh as he stood. Making sure his voice was loud enough, he would shout back "Did you see any of what happened here?" he would ask as he stood and faced the direction of the man.

Thats when his eyes would fall upon the two from his team, ZaG and Kouga. Well, at least everyone was okay he assumed from his scan as he let his eyes wander even more. It seemed alot of people had come out to this event, more Shinobi then he had expected anyway. With a heart warming sigh he would signal fro Zag and Kouga to come closer. He needed to speak with them personally, so he would let them know when and where he expected them.

Having stopped by his usual shack to drop off Maketai and Maketan, Jason then made his way to the festival. Unfortunatly, when he got there, he saw an explosion. And then there wasnt much left of Koga. Running through the crowd, Jason noticed the body of Koga there after someone had just rummaged through them. Once he had spoken to the supposed new Kage, Jason replied to him "How could you rummage through the body of a dead man, who was a former kage, and take what he had? And then to call him a betrayer when he had plans to come back to remove the council from power after they plotted to kill him? Its just horrible..."[/color] Jason was not pleased with this.

His curse had seemed to return as now Koga had managed to fall. After spending a year with him, he was no longer there. When the Kage, however, said that he had wished to speak with Koga, Jason replied "Perhaps I can be of assistance... You see, I am Jason Arilani. I have been travelling with Koga for the past year. Perhaps I can assist you in anything. He has told me quite a lot about himself recently."[/color] He then waited for a reply. He could care less about the man who attacked Koga, but if the Kage needed some help with his best friend, then Jason would help in anyway possible.

While ducking down for cover, with a load of debrie flying around and all the citizens of the village running out of the building with fear. Kouga turned his head and gazed out into the leaving crown of people, as the room's population was quickly decreasing with every passing minute. Then suddenly, Kouga noticed his partner Zag had heard him and was already making his way through the leaving crowd of people, which would be hard to get through. Waiting patiently, Haimaru began to bark as he also noticed that a familar face was coming toward them. Moments later as Zag had arrived and approached both Kouga and Haimaru, taking cover as well. "Kouga, you ok? I heard the explosion but I did'nt see what actually happened or where it came from." Kouga heard from his partner Zag. "We're alright, right Haimaru?" Said and asked Kouga as Haimaru responded with a loud bark. As Kouga noticed that his partner Zag had reached and equiped himself with a dai shuriken. Then as Kouga turned to face his sensei; the new Amekage, he watched and noticed that Kazuya had signaled both himself and Zag to come over toward him. "Yo Zag, Kazuya just signaled us to come over to him, lets go Haimaru." Said Kouga as he quickly rosed up from upon the ground as Haimaru jumped onto his arms and quickly strolled over toward him. As he disappeared and reappeared right next to Kazuya with Haimari in his arms. "Yes Sensei?" Said Kouga as he waited to hear what his sensei had called him and Zag over to him, as Haimaru released a low bark in his hands, seeing another familiar face.

Looking around the crowd, Kaori finally nodded as she turned back to Mare and stood fully erected. "Yes, I am a master of the Sand Release, actually. I am also a Kaguya, one of the only ones in this village. Kaori is my name. Actually, I may be the only one of my bloodlimit in Ame completely." She then heard the voice of a female's and her eyes immediately went to the air beside Mare.
