Kugutsu no Jutsu, 傀儡の術 (Puppet Technique)
Rank: "D" ; "C" ; "B" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The Ability where the user controls a puppet with strings of chakra. The puppet is capable of attacking an opponent with any weapons hidden inside of it. This technique is effective from long distances since the chakra strings can extend; they are also invisible, so the puppet can be used from a hidden location.
Special: Must be a Puppeteer
Drawback: Must be learned multiple times in order for the distance to increase. The more objects or Puppets used, the distance decreases, this means that if you have two puppets with a hundred meters of distance each puppet can go at a maximum of fifty meters each.
Description: The user is capable of controlling a puppet depending on the distance of the puppet. If the puppet surpasses a certain distance then the chakra strings simply disconnect leaving the puppet down along the floor. The Chakra strings can not be seen by regular eyes but those who have the capability of seeing chakra can truly notice such a technique. When first learned the technique allows the user a maximum of ten meters of distance. After each time learned the user can increase the distance of Ten Meters. When the user reaches up to a hundred meters then it is harder for a user to gain more distance so the training would go up to a C Rank training as the distance increases Ten Meters every time learned. After three hundred Meters, then the training becomes more difficult once more as the training ranks up to B Rank, at this moment the distance is unlimited.

Leading a small troupe of puppet craftsmen to a training spot, he directed them to place his new arsenal of weapons under a large oak tree before dismissing them back to their shop. “Well…I’ve come this far…” the Kamiuru thought to himself “Guess I gotta learn how to use these things.” He had first gotten the idea to combine mateki songs with puppetry from one of his teachers from the academy. However, before he was able to combine disciplines, he first needed at least a basic understanding of how puppets functioned.
With a giant stack of scrolls at his disposal, a roll of parchment was removed from the pile and unfurled between two outstretched arms. Wrapped around the wooden spool was all the secrets of the basic puppetry techniques he would need to operate his new creations. Studious optics scanned the kanji copied onto the text, absorbing all the information the primer had to offer.
For the puppetry technique to be successful, Shouran would need to learn to spin strings of chakra from his fingers and attach them to a puppet. With a deep breath, the scroll was wound back around the spindle. Calling on the chakra housed within his tenketsu, he pulled the energy from the invisible network of coils intertwined with his body. Gathering the chakra into his hands, he felt them tingle with the accumulation of energy. Contorting his face into a mask of deep concentration, the boy attempted to push the chakra through his fingers into an invisible thread.
His hands began to shake with strain as he struggled to spin the invisible tendrils. The harder he tried, the more difficult breaching the skin on his fingers became. With a final exasperated sigh, he gave up and stopped the flow of chakra. Maybe he was trying too hard. His mind drifted back to his time at the academy when his beloved music teacher taught him to mold chakra through the notes played on his flute. She always told him the same thing when he strained himself while he tried to master a technique. “Relax. Just believe in your success and play the notes. The chakra will flow effortlessly if you just take your mind off of forcing it into your songs.”
Of course, he wasn’t playing a melody on his flute…though the words of wisdom could help him in this situation. If he focused less on pushing chakra through his fingers, and more on creating a string that stretched to her puppet, maybe he would have more success. After another deep breath, his hands were held outstretched in front of his body. A gentle flow of chakra floated through his body as he imagined a long string of energy slowly making its way towards the pile of puppets under the tree. As his eyes traced the imaginary tendril snaking across the ground, his heart nearly skipped a beat as the male puppet twitched as the string made contact. Eyes wide, he gave tug on the string, pulling a limp arm to flop onto the ground. “Yes!”
