[Kyio's post] 23/30 Embodied Separation C-Rank [Both]

(OOC, Note: This is twin fusion training please refer to the previous posts if your confused about TP.)

Kyio continued with her kunai balanced on her finger, and then flipped it up in the air and caught it back on its end. It was kind of neat but took a lot of concentration. She didn't even feel the usual anxiety that she normally would when she would be separated for this long away from her brother. She even thought to increase the challenge now that she had mastered this trick. She took out two other Kunai, and balanced them on her other hand. She then tossed one of them up, and tried catching it with her other hand, so that it would stand on its end when it landed.

Kyio smiled as this was starting to get very fun, she wanted to juggle with them. As they balanced on their points on her hands, she slowly flipped one up, and passed it to the other hand so it would land on its point, still balancing there. It was a slow process but she was training her muscles to tediously preform the intricate maneuvers. It was going to take a while for her to get comfortable passing the kunai from one hand to the other though. But she continued to slowly practice before she attempted a full juggle.

First kunai one would sail over, and she would catch it on its end, the kunai two would be sent over from that hand and caught to on the other hand, and finally kunai three would be sent from the hand that just caught a kunai, and it would sent over to the other hands. She was effectively juggling the kunai, well at least she was preforming the steps. But what made it a special feat was that she had them balanced on their points either in her hand or on her fingers. Now for the hard part. She would send on over, then before she caught that, she would send a different one over. She would then catch them both.

As Kyio increased her speed of this motion, she could feel that her anxiety of being separated was once again building. It was uneasy, but the task she was preforming was challenging enough were it wasn't unbearable yet. But very soon she feels she should return to her resting spot, and take a breather, otherwise she fears she wont be able to.

Draven finally stopped practicing his little trick, as he noticed his sister come walking to him. He nodded as he new she wanted to rest. So he turned his back and let her melt into his body, nothing special, and it seemed like she was exhausted. He was also relieved that she was back with him though.

# Embodied Separation
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S", "S + C"
Type: NinJutsu
Effect: This is the start of all techniques for the techniques within the Futakongo Bloodlimit. Since all children born within the Futakongo bloodlimit are born somewhat like Siamese twins, this enables the two twins the capability to be separate, to be apart and attack as two. The larger the rank the user gets into this technique the longer the brothers/sisters can be separated before dire consequences are made.
Special: ---
Drawback: Depending on which rank, if the brothers/sisters stay separated longer then it is stated, the brothers/sisters will never be capable of joining together ever again. When separated the two bodies only have half chakra each instead of one large amount of chakra as if they were whole.
Description: This technique with all brothers/sisters when together are born as if they were back and forth, this means that there are two heads but one body. This technique allows the users to separate their chakra, to push forth using their ability of their body molecules to where the users gain the ability of separating apart. When first learned, the D Rank, it enables the brothers/sisers the capability of being separated for up to 4 hours. C Rank enables them to be separated for 8 hours. B Rank enables them to be separated for 12 Hours. A Rank enables them to be separated for 16 Hours. S Rank enables them to be separated for 20 Hours. "S + C" worth of training enables them to be separated for 24 Hours.
Limit: Must be part of the Futakongo bloodlimit.

When he turned back around though he was greeted by an odd stare. Akane just witnessed their little secret, but no big deal really. "I know your father told me about it, but its quite different to see it actually happen." She said with her mouth agape. She then turned her back to Draven. "Now pick up your sword and hit me, no more monkeying around." She said with her normal demands. "What no way, that would be unfair." Draven said, and as soon as he did Akane torqued her head back and gave him the nastiest glare he has ever seen.

Effect: The user blocks a strike (D) from behind.
Special: --
Drawback: --
Description: The user lifts his arms over his head and shifts the sheathed katana behind him, blade side down. The sheathed blade will be parallel to the spine and is used to catch the strike along the sheath.
Limit: Must learn from a Protegera Tatsujin or higher. Must know Protegera Shi-Shu Stance.

So Draven picked up his wooden katana and tried to thwack her in the back. Akane moved so fast this time, almost to the point where he could not see her movements. "Wait can you shoe me again" Draven tried to ask. "Nope, get ready turn your back." she snapped back at him. Not wanting to anger her any more he turned his back and held his katana to his side. And as soon as he knows it, he was hit in the back. "Ow, wait I wasn't ready, and I can't see." he said in protest to the pain that was just inflicted. "In combat you wont have either of those luxuries." She said as she cracked him in the back again.

Draven had to bite back the pain as he got into his stance. This time he tried to raise his katana and have the bladed end pointed down. But, what really happened was as he was bringing it up the tip got caught on at tip of the blade on the back of his knee. And following that another crack to the back. He was getting angry at this point, and before she swung on him again, he started to practice the movement first. Thank the heavens that Akane didn't continue beating on him while he practiced, bringing his katana from his side to his back, spining the sheath around and letting his arms rest above him. The bladed end or were there would be a bladed end would rest pointing down, and the hilt in his hands as he held it behind him.

Draven then got ready and paused for a while indicating to Akane that he was ready to continue. Now the first time she swung on him again, he missed her katana by an inch. But the second time he got it down. Luckily Akane keep up the same rhythm otherwise he would have a lot more welts on his back, because he was not ready to increase his speed yet. After a few more swing on him though, she got off a hit on his back again. She had increased her speed and now he must compensate.

Akane was hitting Draven every so often, as she increased or decreased her speed, but after a while, he caught on and didn't let her hit him. Again though she changed the way she was hitting him, and he had to yet again compensate so that his katana would deflect the strikes. The had gone on for a while, and he was definitely showing his progress by the number of welts on his back.

Effect: The user blocks two strikes (D) from either side.

Description: The user blocks one strike with the tip of the sheathed katana, then quickly slides their hands along the sheath and blocks another with the hilt of the katana.
Limit: Must learn from a Protegera Tatsujin or higher. Must know Protegera Shi-Shu Stance.

Draven felt his back ack as Akane nodded with a smile. It was the first time he had seen her do that. "Feel that pain, its called progress." She said to him, giving him some approval. "Ok whats next." Draven said as he smiled past a wince. "Hit me on one side then the other." She ordered.
And, so Draven got did just that. He swung his sword vertically, to hit her left side, then he did the same but on the right. He noted that she blocked both strikes with an easy fluid motion by moving her sheath to block one strike, then she uses her hilt on the other side.

Draven then gets into the shu-shin position without any order from Akane, knowing she will be striking right away at him. And just as he figured, she struck at him with her sheathed katana, and for the first time he caught the first one on his sheath, but the second one to the other side he missed with his hilt and got belted. He grunted but he just fell back into position knowing that if he complained she would only strike harder at him. Akane struck again at him, he caught the first one again, but barely missed the second one this time.

Draven did not like the hits that he was receiving to his sides. It was hitting his ribs, but he used that as motivation to block the strikes. And so Akane Continued to relentlessly hack away at him. This was unlike before though, she varied her speed and angles at which she stuck at him. He would block one strike but miss the other. He was receiving twice as many shots as his last training session. Fortunately he was numb to the pain at this point. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing though. Training is tough and he had to continue or risk being beat to unconsciousness. And that was the drive that willed his hand to raise his sheath or move his katana to block a strike.

Eventually Draven did find a rhythm. Though to figure it out, and the randomness of the strikes was dificult. It felt like a dance, taking his katana from one side then shifting it to the other. There were a few times that he caught both strikes before he could perfect this though. Eventually he could consistently catch both strikes. Every once in a while he would take a strike in the side, and he used that as a reminder to continue his skill at this particular technique.

[Draven's post] 8/10 Rikiddo Haji (Liquid Grip) D-rank

The welts were starting to pile up on Draven. He had to keep Akane's katana sheath from hitting him, or he feared he will break will pass out from the pain, or possibly break a rib. And what worse if he were to complain it would only inure more wraith from the women. So he was determined to not let any more strikes hit him. Left, and right. Then right, and left. Over and over he had to defend himself with this technique. Though he was finding it easier to move his katana to block the painful strikes.

Draven doesn't know weather it was the pain or the fear of receiving more pain that pushed him to block every strike, but it was working. He even found that he could push past the pain and focus at the task at hand. He would easily slide his katana to block one side, then rais it to block with the hilt as his hand gripped it as if the wooden katana had a sheath. It was simple but he had to be quick. His muscles hurt from the strain of the katana's weight but he knew if he let up then he would get thwacked again.

Description: The user swings the katana back over his head quickly, blocking a strike from behind. He then carries forward with momentum, swinging forward and downward to deflect another strike.
Limit: Must learn from a Protegera Tatsujin or higher. Must know Protegera Shi-Shu Stance.

Akane turns to Draven and says "Ok thats enough, now I am going to turn my side to you, your going to try and hit me from the front then the back." She does just that and she turn her side to him and gives him a look that's portraying that she is a very impatient person. So he does as she demands and horizontally swings his katana to her front, then swings it around to her back. Of course she defended both strikes with easy, and he did it slow enough were he could see her movements. It was simple she just held her katana and sheath in front of her, then brought it over her head to block the one behind her. Though he new the speed involved would be tough to master.

Just as Draven finished his last though, Akane turned to him expecting him to get ready. He did not hesitate and turned his side to her. Also he got into the Shi-Shu stance as fast as he could. Just as he dropped down her sheath went wizzing right toward his chest. He barely brought his sword up to block the strike, and then quickly enough she swung her katana behind him. And, for the first time, his first attempt he blocked both strikes, but he was lucky, Akanes sheath struck against the tip of his katana. "Oh, well aren't you special." She said mockingly. and after she said that she struck again but this time she was faster. Thwack, thwack, he took both strikes even though he tried hard to block them. It hurt, the welts over his body were starting to remember the previous strikes that he had taken, and the pain of it all knocked the wind out of him. Thankfully enough while he was wheezing, Akane let him catch his breath.

After Draven regained his composure he continued, by dropping down into his stance. Akane of course took this as a sign that he was ready, and again and started attacking him with her sheathed katana. Again the strikes connected but he atleast could follow through with his attempts at blocking, Akane didn't use as much force as she did the last time. He figured she gave him the chance to recover enough to get back into his stance and try again. Which he did and the attacks kept coming, this time he blocked them both and got back into position. Another set came and he blocked the second strike this time. And again they came and he blocked both attacks.

This continued for quite some time, Draven could block some strikes but missed on others. Eventually though he could consistently block the strikes, up until she changed her speed, and force. Then the pain started up again and drove him to keep his blocks up as best he could. Akane was a good teacher, she could tell when she needed to challenge him. The would vary things up until he grasped the concept of the technique that he was suppose to learn. And she always reminded him that he needed to try harder through the pain that he received. Though she comes off kind of bossy to him, he thinks it must have been something he did when he first met her. Oh well he thought to himself as he blocked another strike to his back.

Draven's focus slipped a bit as he was caught with two strikes, his thoughts were else where when the strikes connected. A heavy grunt blurted out of his mouth as he readied up, keen on keeping his focus. And his rhythm of his blocking kept right back up from were it was broken. Always Akane would catch him off guard when he was starting to get in rhythm and thinking about other things. One day he would learn to keep his thoughts on training, but until then his welts would show otherwise. But for the current technique he was showing his improvement in blocking her strikes, and this time he did not loss his focus until he seen that Akane would give her approval.

Description: The user quickly spins their arms, sending the sheathed blade of the katana arcing and knocking away a strike. The user then uncrosses their arms.
Limit: Must learn from a Protegera Tatsujin or higher. Must know Protegera Shi-Shu Stance.

Akane turned to Draven and demanded, "Hit me as hard as you can." He paused a second and thought she was a little crazy, but easily remembered that she knew what she was doing. So with a shrug he wound up with his wooden katana and did a base-ball bat swing toward her head. Akane then easily spun her katana, sheath and all infront of her, and deflected the swing. It looked beautiful how she did that. He was excited to try this one out. So he got down into his Shi-Shu stance and waited for her attack.

Akane moved her sheathed katana over her head and came down hard. Draven, as he seen what she did before, tried to re-create this motion. It was a horrible fail. His katana met her's with a loud crack, and her katana slide down his wooden blade hitting his thumb hard. His katana went flying about a meter away from him and bounced off the ground. He jumped up and down, and sucked his thumb hoping to give it some relief. "Bahahaha, not as easy as it looks eh! Now pick up your sword and try again ya big baby." She said mocking him.

Draven would take this as another painful lesson. It shows him that he has to watch the strike that comes and deflect it with the correct precision, and angle, otherwise he would make a horrible mistake. If Akane's katana wasn't sheathed, he would have lost his thumb. The hit is already going to leave a bruise. It was going to be tough to train with his thumb like that, but he thanks the stares as he finds its not broken. "Ahh now maybe your head will be on trying now instead of my chest." She said, and he now realizes why she acts so rash with him. But as soon as his mind was wondering again, she had raised her katana ready to strike once again.

Draven dropped easily into his stance, his right hand was gripping his katana's sheath and his other ready on the hilt. He only gets a flash of the pain in his thumb, before Akane dropped her sword. He this time timed his deflection out and angled it just right so the force wasn't fully felt. Though his legs quivered and his balanced seemed off. The force of the blow send a vibrating message to him that he still needed to get a better angle to deflect the force of her katana. So, as he got ready for the next strike from her, he positioned his feet at a better angle to his body, and his knees were in his mind bent more efficiently. As the strike came this time, he could see the split second were he could deflect it.

As Akane's katana came down he moved his to meet her sheath half way, then he pushed off it as it slide only a millimeter down his wooden blade. The angle was good, and so was the force to deflect the strike. Her katana harmlessly was swung away from his body, resting at her side. "Good, now the hard part." she said as she readied in a different position. Her katana was now raise just above her shoulder. He could see that she was going to come down across his body. So he dropped into a good stance. AS her strike came across, he swung his katana so that it would streak through the air without hitting his body. Akane's sheath would slide against his a bit more this time, but no harm was done so it was a success.

This went on for a while, and each time Akane would strike Draven with a different position and with a varying speed. Draven would have to adapt before every strike, out of fear from a vicious strike. He realized from the first smack on his thumb that if he did not, or if her sheath would hit him again, that it could be the end of his training for today. It was hard to find a rhythm here, with so many different factors that were involved, but he efficiently dealt with her variants of strikes. Akane though did not let up and kept up with her strikes in repetition, and he would over and over deflect each strike, not perfectly but enough were he would not be hurt.

"Ok enough. That's good for now I suppose. Now Hit me here as hard as you can." Akane order him as she turned facing him and patting the side of her ribs. Draven, not wanting to upset her, wound up his katana behind him holding it with both his hands on the hilt, and did a base-ball bat swing to her abdomen. Akane then simply raised her katana with her sheath, his wooden one slide done hers about 3 inches before she pushed, and his was sent flying harmlessly out of the way leaving him unbalanced.

Draven had to right himself before he dropped into the Shi-shu stance. He knew that that akane wasn't going to let him catch a single breath while training. And, just as he figured, she swung at him with her mighty katana sheathed and what he now fears as her beating stick. He found it was simple enough to raise his sheath and block her katana, but it did not slide down his, and the force unbalanced him yet again. She wound up her katana again getting ready to swing on him. He had to right himself quickly and drop into his stance or her katana was going to hurt him once again.

Akane's katana swung towared him again. He raises his and the same result came out. She swung on him four more times before he realized that he needed to at least angle his block so that it can slide down his katana. So, the next time she swung on him, and she did, he angled his block. Her katana sheath slide down his, but when he tried to push, it only unbalanced him again, this time it was pushed him further then the previous swipes.

Now Draven had another problem. He didn't have a chance to figure it out either. The next swing came and he was almost not ready for it as he balanced back up and dropped into his stance. But an idea struck him like lightning. He had to get his footing right or this wont work. So, when he got the chance, and he balanced himself correctly enough, he anticipated one of her swings, and he angled his left foot in, letting his heal braced his weight and leg brace for the force.

what had happened was Akane swung on Draven, he blocked her katana at an agle so it would slide, then with his angled foot, he pushed off. With the small movement of his foot, gave him enough leverage to push her katana away. It had worked, but to a less extent that he seen when he swung on her. At least he had the basics of this maneuver down and he could practice it. And, unfortunately his teacher knew this as well. She would now hit him from either side. He used the same technique as he had learned but he was exerting a lot of physical strength to do so.

It was exhausting Draven to keep up with Akane's swings. But, slowly and surly he was making his movements smaller and more efficient. He would angle his foot better, where he wouldn't have to exert so much force to push her katana away. He also adjusted the angle of his block so he could push at the right spot and the right time, so that his arm didn't have to torque so much. It was apparent that he was getting better at this, but he was still no match for what he seen from his mentor.

"Ok that is enough for not, I'll let you rest for a bit." Akane said to Draven suprisingly. As she said that, he could feel his sister melt out of his body. One of Akane's eye brow raised as she witnessed this once again.

Kyio melted out of her brothers back, not liking the training that he was receiving and having enough rest to continue her own "You should really be more careful, Draven" she glared at her brother while she said this. She then walked to her part of the yard and picked up the scrolls that her mother left her. Inside she picked up a skill that she wanted to learn.

Doton no Yoroi (Shield of Earth)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A Thin like layer of earth is used to surround the user as a protection against on coming like attacks. The stronger the user is the stronger the technique becomes means the stronger the defense is to help the user.
Special: ---
Drawback: This Technique is ineffective against Lighting Techniques. The user becomes weighed down and is unable to perform fast movements such as the After Image technique.
Description: A thing layer of earth is used as a protection around the user. The layer makes the user seem a little darker then usual but this type of technique takes up a lot of concentration, chakra and understanding. When attacked by certain attacks such as TaiJutsu attacks the feel of the attack seems less then that of normal. This technique is capable of protecting the user against two "D" Rank like attacks before the shield begins to break. For every Difficulty class the user increases the technique increases in strength allowing the user to withstand more. When the user becomes a C Rank difficulty class the user can withstand Two “C” Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty of "B" then the user is capable of withstanding One "B" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty class of "A" Rank the user is capable of withstanding One "A" Rank of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes "S" Difficulty class the user is capable of withstanding Two "A" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user
Limit: Needs the Earth Release

She started to read the scroll. It wasn't anything too complicated for her to learn. It actually required no handseals, though it describes the molding of chakra to draw on the soil. Also it describes the ways that it can be. Though she did not like the aspect of being covered in mud, "ew" she thought to herself. But, non the less this could save her in a fight.

So Kyio started to mold her chakra as described. Through the earth release, she pushes her chakra down underneath her feet and brings it back up. She can see that bits and pieces of earth, about the size of a small marble was staring to gather and mound around her feet. This wasn't right. The gobs of earth were far to large to effectively cover her body.

Kyio had to release her chakra and start over. She had to focus herself, and let her chakra flow more evenly, and precisely. She pushed that chakra into the soil and let it raise again. This time it looked like dust was starting to gather around her feet. Though when she tried to move it up her legs, it would just fall again. This started to frustrate her.

Kyio stopped the chakra flow once again to gather herself. She had to focus even farther then that. the dust was ok but it lacked that hardness quality, that she was sure of, also trying to hoist it up her body and stay there will take some doing as well. So continued her focusing and she started to add more amounts of chakra to the mix.

Kyio found this to be tedious converting her chakra into a even flow, because of the shear volume of chakra needed. She then pushed that chakra that she had gathered into the ground. She was then finding that this was a chore in itself. Because of the same amount of chakra needed, this task was just as slow and tedious.

Eventually though Kyio pushed this chakra into the ground. Now she needed to pull it out. As she started this task she found this to be worse the the previous tasks. For such a, as she thought of it as, a simple technique, it took a lot to try and learn it. But what does she expect, like most the things that she has been learning this will be no different.

Kyio could see the dust from before start climbing up her leg and finally it started to coat her body. She disliked this feeling, but every time she frowned some of earth that was covering her legs drifted to the ground. She had to ignore this fact then. She checked the soil that was on her legs and see if it was up to standards. Of course like she figured it was not. This was going to take a lot more chakra then she thought, even though she was using a lot already.

[Kyio's post] 10/30 Doton no Yoroi (Shield of Earth) C-Rank

Kyio had to push more chakra into the ground as she raise what was already in there. She used her chakra like a conveyor belt. Letting her chakra push into the ground, and gather the material needed, then when it returned to her and place the soil on her skin she would send that same chakra back down into the dirt to fetch more. Though this was going to take a while, and the belt of chakra would have to get longer, so she needed to constantly add more chakra.

Not to mention Kyio had to keep focus and only select only the hardest and finest particles of soil. She started to breath a little harder then before as the material crept up to her thighs. She felt sorry for ants now realizing that moving dirt is not tiny feat. She continued this process for a while. Every once in a while she would check spots that had soil on her for the durability and hardness of the earthen armor skin. If there was a weak spot or a spot that she could just wipe off, she would have to replace it with either more or harder material.

Eventualy Kyio was covered up to her belly with the icky soil. She dare not think about it or she would loose her concentration and start all over again. She needs to cover herself first and test how to harden it before she wanted to start over. But the exhaustion was staggering. And it always required more chakra and more concentration. What added to the difficulty was that she had to spread out her chakra inside the ground to find the correct soil to plaster her skin with. She had to slow the process down a few times because of these of all the factors involved.

Eventually she was up to her neck in soil and her arms were covered all but her hands. Though she was now at a crawl to finish the rest of the soil skin. It was almost getting to the point were all her chakra was dedicated to re-patching the soil skin. But eventually that task was less chakra consuming and more time consuming. And eventually she would run out of patches that she would need, because the correct material was in place. It was all a matter of testing out which type of soul worked for certain parts of her skin. For example at her joints she could use larger, micro pebbles then when it comes to her arms or legs were the skin cells are closer together. Then she needed finer soil to get in-between her cells and plastered there with her chakra.

Finally she had done it. Her whole body was covered in soil. Though she still needed patching, and still testing to see which areas needed finer soil. But she could dedicate more chakra to this task now and it took less time to do so. She realized though that she would have to test out this skin to see if it will live up to what she read in the scroll. Also she would have to figure out a way of hardening it further...

[Kyio's post] 18/30 Doton no Yoroi (Shield of Earth) C-Rank

Kyio was now head to toe in the disgusting dirt. She could now give a shiver. It was creepy, and she did not like it. She did find though when she shivered, the soil on her skin cracked. She would have to use her chakra to plaster it down, also she would need more soil to cover the cracks. But first before she would yet again patch it up she checked it, by slaming her fist to her hip and wiping at her legs. Unfortunatly every time she did, flakes came off.

Kyio was thinking there was more to it then just covering her body in this thin soil past. She would thought about keeping a thin layer of chakra there to not only harden it but to keep it all in place. She could use her chakra as a mortar just like you would use on a building for stone. So, she started her conveyor system with her chakra to first patch up the cracks in the soil.

After Kyio was satisfied with the patching, she started to work on the mortar. Her chakra would have to mix with the soil already on her body. This took, she new would take a lot of both concentration and chakra, much like every step of this jutsu already. She bound the indevitual particles of soil together that was already on her body. The progress for this was slow, she would have to devise a way to speed this up. Then she thought about just wraping herself up in her chakra and let it mix by itself.

So, Kyio did just that. She molded as much chakra as she thought she needed, and wrapped herself in this thin layer of chakra. She then moved the chakra about, kind of in a quivering manor so that it will integrate with the soil particles on her body. She found an interesting aspect to this fashion of "putting mortar in the build" as the soil looked like it could move around her. Finally she was done, the soil clung to her and no flakes fell off as she wiped or patted away. Though she wasn't sure about durability and would have to test and adjust the armor, to proper specifications.
