OOC: Much thanks!

The tingling sensation around his body told him he needed to take a rest, but he egged himself on nonetheless. The lightning was just trying to dissuade him from controlling it, trying to convince him to quit his efforts and stop. But he didn’t plan on giving in so easily. It was a fickle entity and he was determined on controlling it for his own means. For killing the man that had ruined his family and forced his father into exile…
The simple thought of revenge seemed to spur him on, since Zel quickly picked himself up on his two feet, wiped the grass stains off his trousers and began the preparation for the Sakurai again. The breathing exercise, the hand seals, the dragon- they were all becoming increasingly familiar steps and soon, he hoped, he would be able to perform them quickly as to be used in battle. With those out of the way, Zel began to concentrate on gathering his chakra.
He held the dragon seal, clamped his eyes shut and focused as its warmth spread across the upper half of his body. Then, like a sharp and unpredictable strike of wayward lightning, he formed it into the electric element he required. A shock ran up his spine, forcing him to grit his teeth when it sent a pain on his forehead, but he ignored it. It was just a momentary side effect from his rush… he’d make sure to learn how to control it in the future.
Now, with the power of electricity crackling under his skin like the bubbles on a fresh soda, he started with the creation phase. He envisioned a single Sakura petal, spiraling down a black abyss, slowly and gently. Then a flickering blue light appears, as distant as light can travel without disappearing from view, but gradually growing closer. It grows brighter and draws nearer, until its true form is finally revealed. It is a cloud, made entirely of blue-white lightning and nothing else. The Sakura petal is falling directly into it- a delicate beauty being devoured by the chaotic beast that is pure lightning. The lightning scorches it with a stray strand of electricity and the entire cloud explodes in a blindingly bright shock-wave, filling the abyss with thousands of blue-white Sakura petals.
Zel could feel his chakra do its thing as he imagined the spectacular sight. It covered his body so evenly, he felt like he was practically glowing. He wondered, for a split-second, whether he should focus it into another more practical jutsu, but immediately discarded the thought. He’d started the technique, and he’d be damned if he didn’t finish it. With intent concentration, he increased the chakra’s power carefully until he felt his body vibrate with thrill.
Then he released the electric chakra out of his body and into the surrounding air forcefully, opening his eyes just in time to see a small hurricane of beautiful blue-white petals manifest around him and spin, pushing away the boring normalcy that came with traditional pink Sakura petals.
