A Team Reunion? [Ryuuto's Team Only]

I looked over at Kin as he thanked me which made me grin wider at him "No problem" I turned my attention towards the waitress who had just taken Yuta's order and was now patiently waiting to take Ryuuto's order.

Kin would thank Axe lfor ordering a treat for both dogs. Axel seemd to think it is no big deal. These Inuzuka clan members really wathch out for each other, just like real canines. Crazy.

No one was suprised by my simple dish. Ryuuuto was taking his time selecting his dish. I would look at axel then Ryuuto. Then I would glance at Kin, who was junior to me. He looked powerfu lthough, even though he looked petit in a sense. It is weird to desribe him. Then again, maybe he will feel the same way about the iillusionist I call my self.

The menu was almost made for him. Everything seemed perfect for this moment. All sorts of cuts of beef, so many pastas soaked in all specie of cheeses, could one restaurant take a man around the world, whew! Though his countenance was of any patron buried in this extensive menu; his mind was being satisfied just with the potential meal that could be placed in front of him.

The orders of his companions was just static in his mind. The tension weighed on his guests though this moment was nowhere as serious as any battle. Ryuuto looked up from his euphoria at their waitress her smile became strained.

"Chicken Alfredo.."

He said quickly setting his sights on the wonderful meal ahead. he brought his hadn to his mouth holding back his salivation.

I smiled as Ryuuto placed his order and looked back at the waitress grinning softly. "Thank you cutie" I reached down and started petting Hime as the young waitress left to give our orders to the kitchen. "So you're a noodles man, Ryu?"

Ryuuto promptly stood up from the table. Without a glance to anyone, he walked over to the owner assuring the meal would be charged to the Takikage. He walked out of the door without a goodbye to anyone.

Ryuuto would just walk out on us. How rude? Disrespectful to his team. I glare at him as he leaves without even acknowledging us.

Oh well. I decide it is time to conference with my teammates. I raise my glass. "To Hugo Hyuga, Loyal friend, killed by his grief," Even though it's just a fancy glass of water the gesture make me feel better. "and to Kin, newest member of team Ryuuto." I finish on a more cheerful note, expecting others to raise their glasses.

I do this in hopes to distract people from our busy leader.

The whole team watched their leader just stand up and leave the table without saying a word. This was fairly rude of him, but nobody said anything about it. He was the takikage after all he probably had better things to do. Turning back to his teammates, and listened to what Yuta had to say. The small boy also raised his glass to show appreciation to the former member of this team that committed suicide. He was a bit embarrassed about what Yuta said after that. It was for him. Thank you he directed his new friends.

I flinched slightly as Ryu abruptly got up and left without even a second glance at any of us pausing briefly at the counter before leaving. I sank a little in my chair looking down wondering if I was the cause of our leader leaving. I saw Yuta lift his glass saying a cheer for Hugo and I quietly took my glass lifting it, the gesture making my sleeve slip down making the scars on my wrist and forearm visible. "To Hugo..."

Kin would act slightly embarrassed at my kind gesture. At least 'the rest of the team' enjoyed the gesture. I just felt it necessary. I would look around the table, locking eyes with each of my team members. Sad Axel and out of place Kin Iwake. I then decide to speak once more, to try to better the situation with a little bit of team tactics. "We need a Co-Leader for when Ryuuto is gone. May I have the honor of this position?" I would ask as kindly as possible, wanting to make a diffrence.
((OOC: Sorry about my inactivity. And if this village doesn't get better... I plan on scrapping unless at least we get our act together.))

After the team mate of Kin finished with his words, everyone took a drink from their cup. Within seconds the silence was gone once again, Yutaka had a question for the rest of the team. It was a question that would probably affect the whole team. Since Kin didn’t the capabilities of his team mates he wasn’t sure who should be the co-leader. I don’t know, I think it should be the most experienced member of this team this was the answer that was given to his team mate by Kin. He didn’t mean anything bad by it, but he wanted to find out what could everyone on the team do. Since he had never seen them in combat or making serious decisions. But so far he thought that the best person for this position would be Axel.

"I agree about that it should be the one with more experience so lets see how we all stack up" I said quietly taking a drink as Hime softly nuzzled my leg I looked at each of them my eyes becoming sharp and analyzing. Leaning back I sighed softly and thought about my career. "I've done two D-rank missions and I'm advanced in the wind style, well known in the ice and water styles as well as my clan Inuzuka taijutsu with Hime, and I'm learning how to control the wing ritual of the Tsubasa, what about you Yuta?"

"Hands down you got me on ninja talent. I have Water release three genjutsu perceptions and pouch crafting. But I do seem to be the leader here. I am the one who has kept the conversation going, distracted you guys as Ryuuto left and suggested a Co=leadership position. Don't you think the organized person here should lead? It is only sensible, isn't it?" I say. As a twelve year old I can deal with politics. My father never approved of my ability to negotiate so well. Finally I would finish off, "And I do have ninja talent." I would quickly complete handseals and touch the table. The entire table, food and all, would disappear.

The eldest member of the team seemed to like the suggestion that Kin gave, so he started to list all of his abilities and all of the missions that he has done since his ninja career began. He most definitely out did the younger Inuzuka. So the competition was between the other two members. It also looked like Axel was more experienced than Yutaka. This upset him greatly. He did have some good points about why he should be the co-leader of the team. But it didn’t convince Kin at all. I didn’t mean to offend you in any way the boy told to Yutaka. But in this situation I think that Axel would be the best choice he added on. He was hoping that the genjutsu user wouldn’t get any more upset over this. Kin decided not to say anything about his abilities since both of the members out shined him in everything but missions. Since Kin did have two C-ranked missions under his belt.

"Neither of us said you weren't skilled Yuta it was just his opinion that we base it on experiences, and true you did have the initiative to keep us talking..." I thought quietly as Hime rested next to me with Kin's pup as I scratched the invisible table with my sharp claw. "Why don't we have a sparring match and let Kin ref it? after that I'll decide if I want you to be the leader k Yuta?"

I would instantly be pinned down. Ninja talent isn't everything. The dog clan are trying to run our team like a wolf pack. Neither of them would be able to see my disgust, as I put on my political mask. Gamblers call it a poker face. I call it a political mask. Nothing is diffrent between them, except mine is one of the best you will see.

"Now, I take little offense to that, but we must be careful. Kin, Axel, you are human beings. Remember that for one second, you are not dogs. Brute strength isn't everything. Sparring is a barbaric sport. My father loved it, and now he is a crazy drunk. My mother was Taijutsu lover, and she is dead. Inability to see past strength is a weakness, is it not. Also a level battlefield puts me at a disadvantage. The second I step out of the village I would be ready to use Genjutsu, I would never let myself get into a fighting stance a short distance from my enemy. How about chess, a game of brains and skill. For a team leader doesn't need to be able to crack jaws. A sparring match is an even match, an unrealistic portrayal of ninja's experience. We are men, not beasts. The Alpha-male doesn't have to rule." My silky and smooth voice might be enough to turn my opponents into my favor. If we had some more people who weren't the barbaric and ugly Inuzukas...

I would cancel the genjustu and lean back.

When the boy finished talking and explaining how he thought Axel should be the Co-Leader instead of Yuta. Axel tried to back him up, Kin was agreeing with him at first but when he go to the part where he wanted to spar with his team mate. This didn’t sit well with the youngest member of the group. It also didn’t make Yuta any happier and he decided to go on a small rant about how the leader shouldn’t be the alpha male. He told the two Inuzukas that they weren’t dogs and that they shouldn’t think that they should act them. After his rant was finished he suggested a game of chess for the two members. This seemed like a better idea then sparring. I agree with the idea of a game of chess instead of sparring The boy told the two older members. But Yuta remember that me and Axel are aware of the fact that we aren’t canines, there is also a big difference between sparring and fighting, I do agree with you about the fact that strength is not everything He added on before shutting his mouth completely, he wanted to see what Axel wanted to say on this matter.

I felt Hime bristle instantly as Yuta became unreadable and knew that Hime could smell his hostility. "It's okay girl..." I looked up at Yuta a little on edge. "I agree that we aren't beasts and that chess would be a good show of our intellect and our strategic skill but I don't see a board around to play with" I quietly pet Hime trying to get her to calm down. "If you show this much passion in being a leader I can support that drive, I'll follow if you lead"

I sighed softly stretching before looking at the clock lazily. "Hm... interesting... it's already been 4 hours, it's late guys my sister is expecting me home so I'll see you guys later, take care, and Yuta remember, I support you as leader." I gave him a signature grin before getting up and laying the Ryo for the meal down on the table. Hime followed suit and stayed at my side. I waved at them both before climbing the steps out of the restaurant and onto the cool crisp streets of Takigakure.
