[Tekato Shimura]

Tekato noticed Raikaru slow down to nudge Hikari in a flirty way, but it was kind of un-called for given the atmosphere, but he understood Raikaru's mind set at the time. He was trying to escape his dark mood, but in doing so seemed to put himself in denial about the others didn't notice the tense situation that was brought about after Raikaru reacted aggressively against Tekato's teasing. It was indeed a little awkward, but Tekato hardly noticed it, he was a bit naïve about things like that, he had zero experience with girls and never had a crush on one. His life was centered around being a ninja and enjoying the little things in between. He didn't think about the significance of what Raikaru was showing by nudging her playfully and continued to listen to what Riku had to say.

He had a little sister. Immediately Tekato thought of his younger brother Hiro, who was gone now and the love he had for him. He smiled sympathetically at Riku and said. "She must be the world to you." which was partially in response to him saying 'dont think i hate her though'.

Hikari was to introduce herself next. She said she wasn't very outgoing socially. Tekato thought about it for a moment, and then agreed. He never realized it but its true she wasn't exceptionally talkative. It was probably because she has to get used to people first. Onigami sounded pretty good. She liked a certain waterfall, Tekato wondered which one she was talking about but didn't ask. She lost a sibling as well, Tekato felt her pain but didn't say anything. He put his head down a little and looked at the ground not wanting to say anything about it, because he knew that saying 'im sorry' to someone really did nothing at all. He'd been there. Tekato figured he'd go next. To lighten the mood slightly he responded to her statement about food. "Oh man onigami sounds so good right now." Tekato's mouth was watering a little bit. "Hey well I'm Tekato, you know that." Tekato thought for a moment, he never really had a good way of introducing himself and felt awkward doing so. "I guess i enjoy drawing here and there... i'm not very good... other than that... there really isn't a whole lot to me i guess." Tekato tilted his head back and used his arms to support it up. He was childishly smiling up at dreary overcast clouds, enjoying the little things. Raikaru would be the next to go. Tekato continued to stare at the overcast clouds which weren't very interesting or beautiful, but they gave every scene an eerie air, which was interesting to Tekato. He listened for what Raikaru had to say, he'll probably talk about how much he likes ramen or something[/color], Tekato chuckled to himself.

Raikaru was next, he heard the others introduce himself, but only sincerely paid attention to Riku, he knew his other teammates. Raikaru looked straight ahead, he was trying to gather himself but the scene and the recent events made it difficult. "There is nothing that I truly enjoy, except, I do like being with friends. There is one thing I hate...well one man." He looked at Tekato. "That's all." Raikaru was angry with himself for letting himself get so angry before. He wanted to fix it, but it couldn't be done in one afternoon. He would have to wait till morning.

[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

"She must be the world to you.", commented Tekato. "Yeah.", replied Riku under his breath. From the things his teammates said about themselves Riku felt he was pretty lucky. None of his very close family members were killed or dead. He wondered if he would be able to become good friends with them. "Well guys, should we be on our way now?", he said while looking forward out of the gates.

[Hikari Maeko]

Hikari nodded. "Yeah, we should get started. We've been here for about 20 minutes. Lets get a move on." Hikari said monotonously. With that said, she started walking outside the Konoha gates, expecting the team to eventually follow.

Though, Hikari would always end up in the back on team missions. She continued to rub her bare hands together for warmth.

[Tekato Shimura]

(ooc: haha guys we've been walking for the past 8 posts or so... xp ill just go with it)

The team had stalled while the introductions were happening, everyone seemed to mutually stop. They were only 50 meters or so into there journey, they had a long way to go. Riku suggested they keep moving. Tekato nodded and walked along next to Hikari. She was rubbing her bare hands for warmth. Tekato took off his gloves and offered them to Hikari. "Here take mine, my hands are getting too hot." He said with a genuine smile. In truth Tekato's hands were getting too warm inside the gloves because he did well in the cold and usually enjoyed it, the only reason he brought the cloak was to be prepared in case he wasn't as good with the weather as he thought, this was the first time he had worn extra layers since the beginning winter.

Raikaru walked with the group in silence. He saw Tekato offer her his gloves. He smiled, he enjoyed the friendship that was growing in the team. He stayed back with Riku. Raikaru had on his nomral clothes, he didn't change his outfit much, and he didn't care about the cold. In fact, part of him enjoyed the uncomfort, he felt he deserved it. He pulled out his kunai and spun it in his hand like he had before. Then suddenly he stopped and looked at Riku. "Do you wanna play a game? You are good with lightning right? Well how about we find a way to use it in a game?" Secretly Raikaru wanted to know how good Riku was with his lightning, yet part of him did want to form a bond and have some fun.

OOC: I vote that within the next round of posts we end up at night camping, or somewhere with a HUGE time jump.

[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

"Do you wanna play a game? You are good with lightning right? Well how about we find a way to use it in a game?", asked Raikaru. Riku didn't mind, plus he didn't want to pass up a chance to have fun with his teammates. "Sure, why not. Just don't give frustrated when you lose.", he said playfully. "What do you have in mind?" He was ready to accept anything his friend proposed. Riku also secretly wondered how good Raikaru was good in lightning. Not only that, but he wanted to know how skilled all his teammates were.

[Hikari Maeko]

Hikari blushed oh-so slightly as Tekato offered his gloves to her, he said his hands were getting too hot anyways. She gladly accepted them, "...Um...Thanks." Hikari said in a soft voice. Hikari was unfamiliar with this new 'friend' thing, so she didn't know how to react. Though, she was grateful that her team mate had cared about her, Tekato did not have to do such a thing.

She put the gloves on, they were quite roomy, actually. Perhaps her hands were smaller than a male's. Tekato's warmth from his hands remained in the gloves, she took most of it. Hikari's hands were actually warm now. Up ahead were Riku and Raikaru, talking about something. Hikari didn't catch what they were saying, she only caught words like 'game' ,'lighting' and a few other words.

Tekato nodded with a smile as a 'your welcome' to Hikari. While they walked Tekato remained along side Hikari to keep her company (as well as have some company himself). He had his cloak wrapped all the way around him which created a balanced temperature within it where his hands were, because he knew even though he wouldn't mind the cold, it would get to him eventually as it slowly sucked the heat away from him, and they had at least 4 hours of travel before they would stop. It was about 5 PM, the sun was beginning to dim as it set into the horizon. Snow was beginning to mound up on the side of the path and there was a thin layer of snow on the ground beneath them. The tree's had thin layer of the crystal water resting undisturbed upon either their bare branches, and increasingly as they walked pine branches. The orange and red hughes painted the once dreary clouds above and bounced off the snow creating a canvas that if Tekato had the ability, would have loved to paint. It was slightly bitter sweet though, it was beautiful, but it meant that their travel would come to an end soon perhaps in only a couple of hours when it was getting to be too dark and too cold.

"Beautful." Tekato said to himself as he stared to his left side where the sun was setting with the slight smile that he habitually had on his face. He tilted his head so he was looking just a little bit past Hikari's face who was on his left side and in the line of sight of the sun. If she didn't catch him tilting his head to look at the sunset it could perhaps be mistaken that he was trying to compliment her, but he was oblivious to that possibility.

He heard some kind of noise from Raikaru and Riku who were in front of them, but didn't pay any attention to it, he knew they were having some fun to pass the time. After taking a good look at the sunset he turned his attention to Hikari. "So what do you like to do to pass the time." He asked. Tekato could pass the time just by getting lost in his thoughts, but was curious about what Hikari did. Maybe she had a game that they could play, or perhaps she just liked conversation to pass the time. Either way Tekato wouldn't complain though it was not like he ever did. He usually keeps a good attitude about things.

Raiton: Raikou Kenjuu no Jutsu - Lightning Release: Lightning Revolver Technique

Effect: A higher powered variation of the Raikou Yama no Jutsu.
Special: "Handseals".

Description: Concentrating their chakra to more of a pinnacle point and gathering it in a singular mass, the user can shoot a concentrated ball of lightning with speed equal to that of a weapon being thrown. Unlike Raikou Yama no Jutsu, this can carry some serious damage potential, leaving second degree burns and can penetrate up to one inch of human flesh. The full charge takes four movements to prepare, with one movement removed each class the user is above C.
Limit: Must know Raiton: Raikou Yama no Jutsu

OOC: If you don't know the technique yet then its ok, just find a way to hit the shurikens with lightning.

Raikaru smiled, "awesome." Lets do this, Raikaru walked a few feet to the left while still in motion forward with the left of the group. Raikaru drew a few shuriken from his pouch. "We will take turns going back and forth. I'll do one shuriken, then you do two, i'll do three and so on."
Raikaru charged a bolt at the end of his finger, he threw up the shuriken and followed it with his finger.

In a burst of light the shuriken turned a light blue for a moment and ejected foward in a messy fashion because of the force from the bullet. Raikaru turned to Riku. "You're up."

Zeus's Bolt

Description: By focusing chakra in the center of the palm the use is able to send lightning from the center of the palm to make a three foot long lightning bolt in their hand which is able to be thrown like a javelin.
Limit: Lightning Release Skill (Raiton no Jutsu).

"Well that doesn't look hard.", commented Riku as he threw 2 shuriken in the air. He wanted to make on impression on his new teammate. He formed a lightning bolt in his hand then thew it at one of the shuriken. That shuriken recoiled from the lightning then hit the other one behind it.

"Your turn Raikaru.", he said. Riku noticed the weather was getting colder and the sky was getting darker.

[Hikari Maeko]

Tekato turned his head in Hikari's direction, "Beautiful." By the way he was tilting his head a little past her, Tekato was obviously talking about the sunset. Hikari smiled and pointed in the direction of the sun, "When I was little, my sister would tell me that if I didn't obey her, bad things would happen to the sun."

She continued, "If I refused to eat my rice, Aiko told me the sun would explode and the world would end. I actually believed her." Hikari chuckled. She reminded herself about the rivalry between her and her older sister.

Tekato had asked what she did to pass time, Hikari hesitated to answer, "...I do a few sketches in my notebook then and there...I also play the violin. From beginner to professional, I'd rate my skill intermediate level." She looked at the snowy ground as if it were interesting. Hikari was obviously the shortest person in the team. The three boys took longer steps than her because of their height. One step for them was equal to two or three steps for Hikari.

[Tekato Shimura]

Tekato chuckled at the memory of her sister. He couldn't help but think it must be a bitter sweet feeling to remember that and think about reality afterward. He had many stories similar to it with his other two siblings. Tekato looked back toward the path in front of him away from the sunset. He chucked as he recalled a memory of Akira. "I rememer one time my father took me and Akira out to have Ramen, it was in celebration of Akira graduating at the top of his class from the academy. He told me my hair would fall out if i didn't eat the ramen, since ramen was shaped kind like hair i thought it was possible so i downed every bite." Tekato rubbed the back of his head thinking how stupid he was, but laughed at himself anyway. "And I hate ramen."

She liked to draw and play the violen. Tekato didn't know a lot about music but he enjoyed drawing though he was not very good at it. "You can draw?" Tekato turned his head to look at her. "Do you have your sketchbook with you may i see some?" She was probably way better than him and was excited to see her work.

The team walked on for a couple of hours until it every bit of sunshine had vanished and the moon light was only dim, a waxing crescent. Tekato suggested to the group that they set up camp and head out early in the morning. If the group agreed Tekato cleared and area in the snow and began setting up a tent.

OOC: I agree. And Riku if you want you can end the game and say that it went on for a long time. You can win too. Just say that we got up to like 15 Shuriken or something. It's all up to you. ;D

Raikaru smiled. "Very good! I like that, you will have to show me how you molded that sometime. Maybe while we walk we can train a bit?" Raikaru took his next shuriken out of his pouch and tossed up 3. He threw them up fairly high, he then molded 3 quick marbles and one by one through them through the centers of each kunai. Raikaru made sure to take his time so that Riku could see that the 3 shuriken was nothing to him. He smiled and looked at Riku, smirked and nodded.

Lightning Marbles

Effect: Creates little orbs of lightning that explode on impact

Drawback: Must be at least 20 feet away from blast area or else you will be damaged as well.
Description: After the Necessary hand signs the user puts there hands near each other, palms facing one another. Little orbs of lightning begin to appear in the user’s hand, like marbles. The user then releases them at the enemy’s feet or at the enemy himself. On impact the Lightning Marbles will explode and release electrical charges in a 20 foot radius damaging anything and everything in its range of fire.
Limit: Must Know Lightning Release; Every Shinobi in cloud can use but Shinobi outside of Cloud must be Taught by a Shinobi from cloud to learn it

[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

After a long competitive game of using the raiton skill, Riku won. The game didn't really determine anything about skill, but he passed the time anyway. "That was fun, wasn't it?", he slightly gasped after using some amount of chakra. "I agree with Tekato, we should rest for now, we will get farther in the morning.", he said thinking about drawing because he overheard Tekato previously discussing it.

Riku never really camped out before. This would be a new experience for him.

Turning back to Raikaru he forgot to answer his question, "Sure ,I'll teach you if you want."

[Hikari Maeko]

Tekato seemed excited about seeing her drawings and asked if Hikari had brought her sketch book along. Lucky for him, "Actually...." Hikari dug around her teal messenger bag she also brought along. The cover of Hikari's sketchbook had a pre-drawn eagle across it, the design was already there when she had brought it.

Hikari flipped to a random page, "I usually draw when I'm finished with training," She stopped at a sketch of a canary bird. The line art was exceptionally well, with great shading to point out the difference between the 2D and 3D. The bird sat peacefully on top of a thin cherry blossom branch.

Again, she flipped the page. "Sometimes I draw out the animals I see around the forest," There was a fawn, baby deer, trotting behind it's mother. Again, there was shading and great detail.

Hikari shut her book, "Anyways, You can't tell anyone about it. It's rather private." One would wonder why Hikari would just tell Tekato, but she didn't know the answer herself. It was getting quite dark and Tekato had suggested they camp for the night.

Riku agreed and so did Hikari, "Yeah, I'm with whatever you guys agree on."

[Tekato Shimura]

Tekato saw Hikari's drawings and thought immediately about how his were so much worse than her's. She put such fine detail on every sketch, the shading really brought out the animals she drew. Tekato thought back to his drawings, he would draw just about everything. Sometimes animals, but also people and settings, and sometimes even abstract drawings. However he was still in the process of learning to draw shading as well as she did, and usually had to draw slowly otherwise he would mess up. He was determined to get better at it though, some day. He had his sketch book, but would probably lie if she asked him, his drawings were more like cartoons. They were fairly accurate and you could easily tell what animal for example he was attempting to draw, but the shading would be minimally basic, not nearly as detailed as Hikari's. "You're an amazing artist, I wish i could draw half as well as you." Tekato smiled at her drawing of a canary. He saw the next picture which was a fawn and its mother. "I like that..." He commented being kind of dazed by some of the meanings he got from the picture. She told him to keep it a secret about her drawing because it was apparently private for her. He was grateful she showed him though.

The group began setting up camp. Tekato figured they would all sleep in the same tent since it would be warmer for everyone. He thought it might be slightly awkward for Hikari sleeping in the same tent as a bunch of guys, but at least they had seperate sleeping bags. Tekato had the tent on his pack, but there was a good chance someone else had brought a tent if Hikari really had a preference. Sleeping outside was just about out of the question since there was a good layer of snow on the ground and the wind was starting to pick up. Whatever the case may be the group rested well (for camping). Tekato woke up at around 5:30 to 6 as he normally did and slowly sneaked out of the tent trying his best not to wake anyone. He began gathering kindling from around the area that they could use for fire since they would probably want one after a long day of traveling that day. There wasn't much use in making a fire at their current site since there really wasn't enough time, and the rations they took with them did not need to be cooked. After about ten minutes he returned to the site with some sticks. He took out a small pouch from his back pack and began peeling the sticks down with a kunai and made sure the shavings landed in the pouch. They would be good fire starter. It took him about 30 minutes after that to fill the bag. After he finished that he put it back in his pack and climbed a tree and sat on one of its limbs and faced the rising sun. He decided to enjoy its beauty while he waited for every one else to get up. At this time it was about 6:30 AM ish. The others would probably get up soon.

Raikaru agreed about everyone settling down, but he had no intention of sleeping that night. He enjoyed playing around with Riku but was upset that on his last jutsu he had missed one of the Shuriken.

As they got into the tent Raikaru began to take of his clothes and then remembered that there was a girl with them now. He blushed and quickly put his put all his clothes back on.

"I'mgoing to stay out and keep watch. I know it's probably not too dangerous out here but you never know." Raikaru wasn't actually worried about keeping watch, but he wanted to be alone just to think.

Raikaru couldn't sleep, that whole night he sat outside of the tent creating lighting and then making it disapear, then streaming it between his hands, spinning his kunai, really anything to keep him occupied. In the morning he heard someone getting up. Raikaru quickly shut his eyes, he didn't want anyone knowing he had trouble sleeping. Raikaru took a quick peek as Tekato stepped out of the tent. It looked as though he was gathering wood for a fire. When Tekato went out into the woods Raikaru got up and ran into the woods in the opposite direction. He gathered up wood as fast as he could. When he got back his arms and even parts of his bags and any pockets he had were stuffed.

Raikaru quickly set up for a fire but could not light it by the time Tekato got back. Raikaru just smiled, "wanna light this up for me? It will be nice for Hikari and Riku to have a fire when they get up."

[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

Riku brought his own tent along with him but he didn't plan to use it anymore since Tekato already started setting up camp with a tent. Riku rested well with barely any turning in his sleeping bag in a tent (what ever the case maybe). He woke pretty early at about 3 o clock. It was very early for a preteen like Riku to get up, but he was used to it from the occasional crash course, last second studying he did when he was in the academy. Since he was the new member in the group he wanted to impress everyone. He was going to get them breakfast. He left a replacement in his sleeping bag then headed off to look for something delicious. Riku thought in his head, "Fish should be alright...."

It was pretty cold and dry outside. It was so cold that it cold that it could remove moisture from skin. Although this was Riku's least favorite weather he was still determined to impress his friends. He searched for a river that would have fish. It would be unlikely in this cold weather. He searched for about an hour be for he found a river. Sadly it wasn't containing any fish. Riku sighed then said,"I better find something before they wake up. Riku made an airball which he hopped on. It was to make his movement quicker. Riku noticed that the sun was starting to rise. His friends would be up soon. Hopefully his friends wouldn't wake before he got back to the tent, because they might start to worry. Just then Riku saw a light reflecting in his prerihiral vision. Riku turned his head and saw a river then a few fishes. He rode closer to them so he could obtain them. Judging from their looks it was probably Red Snapper. The thing now was that he hoped they liked it. They should.

Riku was going back to the tent with 4 medium sized fishes in his right hand. It was hoping to impress them. From the horizon he saw Tekato and Raikaru. "Hey guys!!!", he yelled at the top of his lungs from the distance. Their was wood already on the ground this made t even better.

[Hikari Maeko]

Though the tension was awkward with Hikari in the tent, she slept peacefully during the night. Besides, she wanted to be ready for whatever the mission gave them. Hikari woke up with a minor yawn and a stretch of her arms. She was a heavy sleeper, though she didn't snore. Hikari wearily combed her fingers through her raven hair and used a black hairpin to keep the hair from her face. She couldn't imagine herself with her hair down around in public.

She noticed how the rest of the crew weren't there.

Hikari poked her head out of the opening of the tent, seeing the snowy ground. Before entering the tent again, she saw Raikaru, Tekato and Riku. It seems she was left out. Hikari threw on her ebony coat and the gloves Tekato had given to her for the time being. Of course, she still had on her casual clothes.

Hikari gathered her weapons and placed them in her weapon holster and got up and left the tent, "Good morning everyone, it seems we should be going soon enough.."
