[Tekato Shimura]

When Tekato woke he saw the Riku was up already since he noticed he was not in the tent. Tekato ended up coming back with his sticks before Raikaru did with his wood since Tekato was only going to get a couple of sticks to turn into fire starter. Raikaru returned soon after to Tekato's surprise. It was odd that he got up so early, he hoped he didn't wake him up when he was trying to quietly get out of the tent. Raikaru wanted to start a fire and cook breakfast, Tekato was going to disagree with him since he assumed they all had dry rations with them and it would require them to fish or hunt for some food to put on the fire, but just then Riku came running back yelling to them with four fish in his hands. "So thats what you we're up to!" Tekato smiled and crouched next to Raikaru who was setting up sticks to start a fire. "Of course." He responded to Raikaru. He strung together some handseals and blew into the well placed sticks. Ten very small balls of fire, only about two inches in diameter shot into the fire and ended up lighting it. It was an extremely low chakra use version of Housenka no Jutsu, if he used any more chakra it would probably cause the sticks move and shoot away in different directions from the force. He only used about an E or a D rank worth of chakra in this process and still lit the fire.

Tekato looked over at the tent to catch Hikari poking her head out of the tent flaps and then slip back in. She must have just woken up. A few moment later she joined them outside and was talking about getting a move on. Tekato would have liked to get going to but he enjoyed the fact the Riku woke up so early and caught fish for them all, and then Raikaru even got fire wood not even knowing that he would need it for fish. He was impressed with the team's natural team work. No complaining so far, no laziness, and no real contention between them. It was still early to say they were just a mature team for their age since you never know when someone is going to get on another's nerves. Raikaru and Riku seemed so eager and outgoing about being productive that it was as if it was a competition. Tekato laughed inside his head at the thought and smiled on the outside. What a team. "Look's like we are having a nice breakfast before we go thanks to Riku." Tekato said to Hikari as Riku just reached the fire and was probably at this point probably preparing the fish to be cooked.

Interestingly Hikari and Tekato seemed to be the lazy ones. Hikari slept in the latest and Tekato just collected a minor amount of wood, but it wasn't like Hikari was being lazy, she slept into a reasonable hour, a good one in fact. It was just when you put Tekato and Hikari next to Riku and Raikaru they seemed to be gods of productivity at that moment. This lead Tekato to the thought that Riku and Raikaru would actually be an incredible team, they already seemed to click naturally.

OOC: Tekato you gotta stop changing things, we aren't in a battle and its okay to let some things slide, in my post it said i got back just before you did and Riku said that he Woke up at 3am and left a replacement, I don't think you would notice that. I also didn't write about breakfast, I only said it would be nice to have a fire ready, so you cant say that Raikaru would say that. He probably would but you have to let me write that. Just let some things slide k? i'll change mine up in this post but next time i'm making you edit.

BEFORE: Raikaru got back and saw Tekato was already back with a small pile of sticks. It was for sure enough for a fire but it would only last 30 min at the most. Raikaru set down his logs. "Great minds think alike eh? Wanna light this up? Hikari and Riku might like some breakfast."

NOW: Rikaru heard Riku and saw that he was carrying what looked to be fish. Perfect. "HEY! When did you get up? I didn't even notice you slip out and I was awake for quite awhile!"

Raikaru saw Hikari poke her head out for a moment. "Goodmor..." She slipped back into the tent and Raikaru went back to focusing on the food Riku brought back. Raikaru worried that he had ruined his relationship with the team. He toyed with the idea but only for a moment before letting it go. Hikari came out of the tent this time. "Goodmorning Hikari." He smiled a real genuine smile, he then offered her a stick to cook some fish with.

After Raikaru had finished eating he walked down to a stream he had seen to quickly rinse off his body. He then came back and suggested the team take down the camp and start moving again. They still had quite a ways to go.

[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

"HEY! When did you get up? I didn't even notice you slip out and I was awake for quite awhile!", said Raikaru. "O, I was just left at maybe 3 am judging from the sky." To him it didn't seem like it wasn't too early becuse he was used to it.

"Goodmorning Hikari.", said Raikaru with a very friendly smile. Riku also greeted his teammate who just woke up not long ago with a hesitant ,"Hello." Riku needed to become more compact with simple things like this. After all, nothing much was happening. His face couldn't look her in the eye and say the hello. His eyes were looking towards the ground.

Riku ate his fish on a stick. He really enjoyed it. He agreed with the plan to start packing up to leave. The filling energy from the fish gave him the urge to battle, even thought there wasn't any threat.

[Hikari Maeko]

Hikari took a seat near the fire beside Raikaru and Tekato. She dangled her fish on the stick over the fire to grill it a bit more. Hikari would then eat the food, it was quite good, actually. She thought about the team for a while, and she didn't know very much about any one.

"Raikaru, it seems I don't know much about you. Tell me about yourself." Hikari said rather demanding. Though she didn't mean to say it or put it that way. She looked towards his direction.

[Tekato Shimura]

Tekato patiently grilled his fish slowly at a high point over the fire so it would cook nicely all the way through. He had the time, it was a nice fire that they could sit around and talk a little, it would undoubtedly happen, they would make up for lost time while traveling. He stayed silent, not having much to say, not feeling very curious about Riku who he was still getting to know, and not feeling very conversational either. He looked at the dancing flames while thinking about a time to tell Riku and Hikari about Raikaru's past. He wasn't sure if he should wait till the night or get an excuse for Raikaru to leave for a while and he'd be able to talk to the other two. He wasn't going to say anything for now, so he just stared into the fire. He heard Hikari begin to interrogate Raikaru, she apparently wanted to know more about who he was. He wondered what Raikaru would say but really didn't have a ton of interest, he figured Raikaru wold probably just respond in a fairly vague way or give trivial facts about his past, or maybe talk about his accomplishments in the academy, who knew. Tekato was content staring at the warm fire in the world of his own thoughts. Of course though he would listen to what Raikaru would say, but wouldn't really think about what he said unless he heard something of interest.

Raikaru fish sat just above the flames, some times he would move it towards the center and then quickly out again so that the center of the fish would be hit by the heat as well. Raikaru sometimes wished he was a fire element user as well, he liked the look of fire, the fire's dance around the fish was fascinating. Suddenly Hikari asked him a question about who he was. He was surprised to hear her voice since everyone was being so silent. He looked directly at her, and then towards the fire. His eyes were in a constant gaze at the fire. "Well on our last mission I told you some things about me. I guess that wasn't much, plus Riku doesn't know a lot. So my name is Raikaru Takari, I guess you pretty much already knew that...I worked hard in the academy to live up to my father and the name of my clan. The clan was killed off a long time ago...there aren't much of us left." His pupils contracted out of anger; he was the last. "I almost train purely in lightning but I can manipulate water as well. I like music, I play a little." Raikaru wasn't sure exactly what to say, he didn't want to say anything he would regret or that was unneeded. "How about you ask me something? I'll answer anything you ask while we walk. Make it a good one." He smiled.

Raikaru then got up, he was going to give them time to think while they packed.

After they finished packing they all started walking again, they had awhile to go. A storm looked like it was coming, the sky got dark and a light rain descended on them.

OOC: Idk if you guys wanna try a battle like we did last time. If anyone does than feel free to start it. We can do it like we did last time. Here is a link if you need to know how to do it Riku

Afteer eating his fish Riku started to pack up the camp. He listened to Raikaru tell about himself. When he finished Riku said, "Why don't the rest of you tell me about yourselves more. I don't think i got to know you guys enough. Do you have goals for the future? What are you best in?"

OOC: Sorry for the short post.

I think we should take on a ninja that is higher than us in Rank. Just 1 that we all take on. They are probably Jonin level but i don't know how we'll rotate that.

"I see..." Hikari said, responding to Raikaru.

"I have no questions in mind."

Hikari finished her snack and stood up from her seat. She walked over to their tent and started gathering her items. While doing this, Hikari slipped on the gloves Tekato had lend her. As she walked back outside, the ground was still covered in pure white snow and the sky was abundant with clouds, ready to drop more snow onto the ground.

Riku had finished up packing his own items, he had asked everyone of their goals and abilities. Hikari sat back at the fire, "Guess I'll go first..." she said rather quietly.

"My first goal is to become Konoha's first Female Hokage, if you will. Other goals, I haven't really thought about up until now. I've mastered the capability of the water release. I know a few other sound and wind jutsu." Again, she looked at the ground, thinking about more goals she could accomplish. Hikari scooted towards the fire for additional heat.

Tekato cleaned up and helped pack away what he could. He dug a quick hole with his kunai and stuck the left over fish bones in it. that he put the fish bones in. He heard Hikari say in response to Riku that she wanted to become the first female Hokage. Tekato rarely thought about long term goals. He decided he would answer next, and thought about what his goals were for a moment. From the few seconds that he used to think he came to a conclusion about his goals. He had two possible ones, but he knew that they lead down different paths as far as he was concerned and he was unsure if they could both possibly be accomplished. One was to avenge his family, but this was becoming less of a priority, he had a distinct feeling they were very happy in the afterlife and always had in the back of his mind what his father would want. He would want Tekato to let go of the hatred, but at the same time he missed Hiro and Akira so much, and they were never coming back. He sat on the fence on that one.

His other goal that he always thought about but only until recently when he began meeting more and more people in the village of Konoha he began to fall in love with the village and the people inside. He wanted to protect them, and be someone they could look to. He wanted to be the next Hokage, but things were so unclear he couldn't answer Riku honestly so he decided to give a vague answer but would talk about his abilities first. "I think you would be a great kage Hikari." He smiled at her. "I have potential with fire, lightning, and Wind, as you already knew, but those aren't my strong suits. My strongest area is in pure speed in agility. Oh and as for my goals..." He paused a second. "I want to..." He paused yet again. "I don't know." He decided against answering at all, and just laughed, he wasn't sure why he didn't answer but he felt compelled.

Raikaru finished packing up all his stuff and sat down for one last warming by the fire. He listened to his friends speak. "I guess there are no more questions then? Well You know my releases, and as far as a goal...I just want to be the strongest ninja around...but not the Hokage" he looked over at Hikari, "That is for Hikari" He smiled and stood up. "What about you Riku? Any major goals?" Raikaru was eager to get moving again.

OOC: I like the S rank idea. What do you all think? Maybe our little GM could pull some strings and get someone to act as the S rank?

After Riku heard his friends responses to his question Raikaru asked him about his own goals. "What about you Riku? Any major goals?" "Well, I just want to be a shinobi that people would use as a role model for years to come. For people to use me as an example and expectation. Another thing I'd like to do is explore the world and see other villages. If I must become Hokage I'll take the position with pride, but I don't really care for becoming a Kage. I want to get a rival who i want to compete with and spar with .", replied Riku. The last part of what he said he was looking specifically at Raikaru and Tekato.

[Hikari Maeko]

The twelve year old slung her aqua-colored messenger bag across her body, in a sash-like fashion. Hikari was ready for whatever life had plan to give her. She strapped on her beige weapon holster and fastened her turquoise forehead protector. During the conversation, the fire had eventually died down, no one bothering to light it back up. They were about to leave anyway.

The team seemed very interesting, not like most dim-witted preteens in the world. "It's about 7:00 in the morning now, shall we get going to the Land of Birds?" Hikari asked.

Hikari usually liked staying far from her homeland, the reason why she would sneak past the large gates at night. She didn't know many other passage ways, like a big enough hole Hikari could easily slip through. Maybe she could make her own.

Riku mentioned he was looking for a rival, immediately Raikari popped in his mind, they were both heavy lightning users, seemed like a natural rivalry. He wondered if any form of rivalry would blossom there. Tekato considered Raikaru a rival but it wasn't quite the same magnitude of competition as he had with his older brother Akira.

Hikari was getting ready to go and mentioned that they should head out but said the wrong location as they were heading to the land of lightning first. Tekato figured she just got mixed up and meant to say land of lightning. "Yeah I'm ready to go, we're going to Kaminari no Kuni first, remember? Then we are probably going to split from there assuming all goes according to plan." Tekato put his backpack on over his white cloak and looked at the others to see if they were ready to go."

OOC: I agree with the time jump, lets jump to when we arrive at the land of lightning after about 2 or 3 more posts each. Oh and Tekato...who is Raikari? haha

Raikaru heard Riku mention wanting a rival. A quick smile slashed across his face. He imagined the two of them battling till they both fell to the earth, unable to move a single muscle. Raikaru didn't necessarily want a rival, but he did want someone that would make him stronger. Raikaru thought about Tekato and their battle. They were more friends than rivals, plus he knew that Tekato would never go full out against Raikaru since he would never use his stupid sword. Raikaru enjoyed battling him and messing around, but he needed someone who would really push him to find his limits.

"Yeah lets get going."

The ninja had finished all of their packing and now began a steady walk towards the land of lightning.

"Hey everyone wanna race?" He looked around to see the faces of his comrades. "Not all the way to the land of lightning but to this!" He pulled out a kunai and tied his headband to it. He took a step forward and drew a quick line across everyone's feet so that they would all be at an equal distance. Raikaru then spun his body 180 degrees and whipped his arm around, releasing the kunai at just the right time so that it soared through the air in a perfect line down the path they were on. Soon the kunai faded out of sight. It was going to be a good race. "Hikari you tell us when."

OOC: if you guys don't want to race then just cut this post short so that he doesnt get to throw the kunai or tell Hikari to say go. Something like that. Also I know that No one will want to come in last so I'll take that right now, I don't want any bickering. You all can work out who comes in first. I vote Hikari. She talks about how she often feels inferior, it would be cool to have her throw it in the guys faces! But it is all up to you.

Oh and Tekato, put in the request for just after the land of lightning before we split up or maybe just before, do whatever you think is best and do it for whatever rank you feel is good. I trust you! But make it fun, and I don't think this thread is death enabled anyways so I don't think it matters what rank we fight. But again it is all up to you.

after everyone had packed their supplies into their bags they took a steady walk to the land of lightning. A while into their walk Raikaru asked,

Riku didn't remember the last time he actually raced someone. Memories of the academy started flashing at the back of his mind. They were good times. Without much thought he said, "Yeah..., Yeah I want to race.", right after he asked Hikari to tell them when to start. He backed up and took his position behind the line. He had butterflies in his stomach. He was a bit too excited. He wondered, "I wonder how fast my teammates are? This is gonna be a fun competition." Riku took a sip from his water canteen tied to his thigh then took a deep breath. He was ready.


OOC: Yeah i agree with Hikari beating us guys. I'll come in second last unless you guys want otherwise.

I can't wait to battle. I hope Tekato got us someone.

Usually I have no say or part in this type of stuff....So....Just do whatever you guys want to do... Also, I've been told that there has already been a female Hokage, but whatever. I don't deny that I should come in first.

As soon as their journey began, Raikaru was asking for a friendly race. He used one of his kunai to mark the starting and finishing line. Hikari made a mental note to retrieve it to him soon afterwards, one wouldn't want to waste any type of weapons. No seriousness should occur, they were all mature enough to not get upset about something as silly as a simple race. It was for fun anyway.

Raikaru requested Hikari to do the honors. Of course, she didn't refuse. What harm could it do? Hikari took a kneeling position at the starting line with her palms on the ground. "Ready...." She lifted her left knee for boast when she would run, "Get Set..." Hikari stared sternly out in the distance; she had no certain idea where the finish line was located, though she did know that it was probably a good 200 meters.

"Go!"

Hikari ran. She pushed off of her right foot for an advantage for speed. The force gave her a good start if she wanted to win this. Though Hikari had no intention of winning, she wasn't very competitive. But this didn't mean she would do this half-heatedly. Hikari occasionally squinted her aqua eyes because of the wind passing by her.

Just as often, she looked behind herself to check for close team mates. Hikari soon began to see a kunai far in the distance. Guess 200 meters isn't as much as she expected.

A race? Tekato hadn't raced anyone in a while, the last person he raced was his older brother Akira, a race he lost. Tekato stepped up to the line. Hikari said go and Tekato was off. He pushed off with his left foot and was neck and neck with Hikari for the first half of the race. Tekato's specialty was speed and agility, and he had gone through some pretty vigorous training with his master over the previous month so he was quite fit for the race but he looked over at Hikari and suddenly lost the fire in his heart to win. He wasn't sure what it was he had a weird feeling in his stomach as he saw the determination in his eyes. His pace involuntarily slowed along with his will, he slowed back behind Raikaru and Riku, it seemed he would come in last. This fact was the last thought on Tekato's mind though his mind was else where, he was once again lost in his thoughts, not really living in reality any longer. He finished, at first he seemed emotionless but then he snapped out of it and he smiled at the winner as a kind of congratulations.

Raikaru smiled. This was going to be fun. He lined up with everyone, he heard Hikari's voice. Finally the GO rang through his ears. He took off, no one seemed to be pulling ahead at first, Raikaru slowly slipped to the back, he was a bit tired from having no sleep the last night, plus this was a good opportunity to see what would happen with his team, how strong or fast or competative they were. He was okay with the fact that he was losing, because he still got something out of it. He wasn't upset even though he was always first in the Academy.

He finally crossed the line in third, for some reason Tekato had fallen behind. It didn't matter much to Raikaru. "Great job Hikari! You are fast! That kind of speed could really come in handy."

Lei Telos would appear out of no where on top of a building's main exterior, aka: the roof. She would glare down upon these fools with grew dead on eyes like a falcon searching for prey. Licking her lips she smiled as she would have within her view three little fools whom she could prey on. This only opened her smile as she would pop her neck with a twist of her neck. She was looking forward to this ideally and that wouldn't be something she would take without knowing details.

However this ideally would be fun as she would jump off of the roof of the building, academy, and into the trees as she positioned herself to set up for success by watching these three, yet however she would keep in mind that there may be a fourth whom is more powerful but that was for the future. Her prey wouldn't slip through her fingers and that was a fact as her back held a single single blade of the wakizashi. She preferred the original instead of the diamond by far. She would remain thirty meters from these three though and always keep an eye on them.

{Upon request from Tekato I am going to GM a random enemy. At the beginning of my post I listed her abilities and equipment. If ever you have a quest just pm me. Also I am sorry for the short post.}

OOC: Sorry guys, especially Hikari, for having a late post. I didn't have time yesterday.

When Hikari yelled, "GO!" Riku bursted with speed off of his right foot. He was taller than the rest of his teammates, so his stride was longer. During the first third of the race he was in the lead but he let up. All his teammates, Tekato, Hikari, and Raikaru, went ahead of him. He didn't really try his best or put much effort into it because he wanted to preserve his energy for the long journey. Hopefully his teammates didn't go their fastest because they still had a long way to go. Riku ran at an average speed until he reached the finish line in fourth place, last.

Riku managed to faintly hear Raikaru say to Hikari, "Great job Hikari! You are fast! That kind of speed could really come in handy." Riku followed up by saying with a small smile, " Congrats, Hikari! Raikaru is right about your speed. You should use it in battle 'cause it could really be helpful." Riku was itching to see them all in battle, but what he didn't know was that it would soon come. "Where the kunai go?" he asked Raikaru because he thought all weapons were needed in such a long journey. It probably wasn't a big deal to Raikaru but Riku felt like asking.
