While I do not have what is probably true experience in assisting I have what is needed for this position. I have ready through the criteria and do not see anything I am incapable of doing. I often look at training threads and the RP school to see how certain things are graded. I have also gone through bios and weapons and such that have been allowed. I know what is okay and what is not. I have also been helping as much as possible in the C-box and Character Creation.

I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of assistants for the Moderators. I want to be able to help out. I have been having so much fun on this site and I want to do anything I can to help keep it going and keep it improving. I also check the site about 3 times a day and so I will be able to get a lot accomplished. And I am sorry for my mess up early. I have made sure that as I go through and read any of the rules or anything of the sort, that I read it very carefully and fully.

Alright... I looked through your past posts. You posted 25 times after you last application, including this application. Of that, 8 posts were in character submissions. HOWEVER! About 5 of them were post such as "Great bio, I would approve it" and stuff like that. That is not okay. If there isn't anything to help them on, then don't post. Try to broaden your help as well. Post in support threads and customs. If you really want to be an assistant, SHOW us that you want to be an assistant by actively helping. I can see that you have good intentions, but show us that you truly want to be one before reapplying, okay?

For now though, I have to say 1/2 Denied.

Will do, and I was just saying that the Bio was good, hoping to show the staff that I can accept or deny well, that I know what is good and not. And my main goal is to help with anything the Mods ask and then to try to speed up grading. I love reading the training posts and I think I could help very much with that.

I understand, and I truly see your enthusiasm for becoming an assistant. But I just don't know if you have a large enough grasp of the rules yet because we don't see enough posts of your actual helping. Help out more, be sure that the posts are helpful, and try again. I would love to see your help around the site and if you show that so we can see that you know the rules and can be helpful, then I'd have no problem accepting you.

By the way, I just realized that the links that you have posted for your RP experience are broken, lol.

hmm you could always throw some quiz questions or scenarios his way over instant message or something to see if he knows his stuff, and that way you can test specific things you might be wondering about. Since its over instant messaging you can gauge how long it takes him to answer and decide if he cheated looking up the answer or something.

It's less about his knowledge about the forum and more so that he hasn't involved that knowledge along with helping other players. In all of his examples posting in character submission, he didn't really put in any commentary that was helpful (no offense, since anyone besides staff who helps with submission = helpful), such as critiquing or posting what was wrong - because it's very rare that profiles are 100% correct. And being an assistant is more than critiquing profiles; as Pinkie said, it's also about customs and support threads. Just my two cents though, so excuse my intrusion.

I gave Raikara three tests via PM.

1) A Bio Check Test. He missed some easy things, which I think he might have just over looked and when I pointed them out to him he agreed that they were silly to miss. I wasn't too delighted by his results there.

2 & 3) Grade Training Tests. He did... decent in this section... I used both real training posts that were graded by mods and told him to have at it, he graded lower than what the mods did but he says that was with tough grading of quality over quantity. I agree on those terms.

Vouch) I am giving him a light vouch... not sure if I can really give an amount of a vouch.. but I am... I think he has potential to be a fine assistant, I highly would like to see him put under a highly experienced Moderator such as Beltran, Solus, or Kira.

Hmm, I'm a bit stuck with this one. I'm half and half on my decision at this point.

However, I'd like to state a few things..

I have gone through your last 100 posts. I like your way/style of "helping" the members because you are polite, straight to the point and enthusiastic which is really good because it gives the members motivation in creating their bios. I'd give you my acceptance in there.

But saying that "I would accept this bio" is not Okay at all as you are not in your rights to say that despite of what you think. Well in my opinion since you are not staff. Please leave that to PMs if you wish to express your opinions or some staff might class a post like that as spam and you'll get a verbal or warning.

You seem to know quite a bit about the rules within the site that actually helps with your application. And this pleases me as well. But personally, I'd like to see a little bit more helping out in the threads.

However, regarding your five links: They are all working fine. But! They are not really that recent. Nearly all of them are dated back in last year. Hun, we need links that are recent. 2012 and onward would be more helpful for you.

Now I'm not accepting as of yet, but simply stating my opinion for now. However, I see great potential in you and I honestly can see you with a light blue name. So let's see how you go.

Now, you're are probably wondering what the shit I'm talking about. Your skills are not there yet, but that does mean they can't be found or improved upon to a satisfactory level to make a you a staff member.

The First time I applied for staff, I was denied, and honestly, I'm happy that I was. All that did was motivate me to learn more about the site and learn the rules and improve my knowledge of things and how the site overall worked.

I can only hope that does the same for you. Most people I deny, I do so because I straight up don't think they will ever have what it takes. You are slightly different, I realized after also going over your last 100 posts.

Hmm... I may be changing my mind, Raikaru. I've looks at your recent posts since you posted last here, again 25 posts. But thats 25 posts in 6 days. Of those posts, 12 were helping posts, and only 1 is a post that I felt could have not been made. That being said, again, they were only in Character Bios. Then I looked in Customs and realized there aren't many opportunities for you to post there. SO! I am going to ask you questions of my own. No offense to Zeth, but he doesn't exactly count for giving questions. So, The following are things you might come across. A Character Bio, a Custom Technique, and a Support Question. The Jutsu looks nice, the only thing I see is that there is no drawback. The jutsu is a B-rank, it will be hard to get it passed as B-rank with no drawback. I would also be more specific about the time the enemies are dazed. Just saying the longer they look the more dazed they are could lead to some good arguments, might wanna just fix that up.

Okay, so, as for your questions:
~ There are so many techniques because of the different sub-categories. Being a crafter is like saying you are a ninja. The question then is, well do you know how to craft books? Weapons? Amour? The same way you would ask do you know Fire? Lightning? Wind? The different techniques help you to craft within the specific sub category.
~ Quick creation. This is where a crafter will increase the difficulty of the crafting by a multiple of ten. This is the difficulty ranking system normally.

Find the Difficulty of the item. Each Item has a set Difficulty to create. Below is the List:
"C" Rank Item - 10
"B" Rank Item - 20
"A" Rank Item - 30
"S" Rank Item - 40

Once you have gotten the difficulty number you would like then you can multiply this by the total crafting result to get the crafting points more quickly.

Now for the Dice roll this is how it works in conjunction with the item difficulty and total points:

(Example : User wishes to create a "C" Rank Secondary Item that costs 1,000 Ryo per Slot. User has Crafting Experience of 10 and Rolled a 20. The total Roll is 30. 30 (Roll) * Difficulty (10) = 300. The Item's Points is 1,000 divided by 5 which equals 200. User has created 1 slot of items within the Week.

Now, you dice roll by asking a staff member, they will roll for you.

High Learning~ This gives you an extra experience point in the category of your choosing but it must be learned multiple times. Here it is in detail

Skill: Supplementary
Effect: Raises the user's Crafting Experience by 1 point for 1 Sub-Category.
Special: ---
Drawback: User must learn multiple times. Gains a single point for a single Sub-Category. May only recreate or revamp with 100 points per Sub-Category.
Description: The user expands their knowledge by all means for a specific Sub-Category. They reverse engineer, become an apprentice, or do simple research. Each time learned the user gains 1 Crafting Experience for a specific Sub-Category. Example: The user is a Tailor and knows 2 Sub-Categories which are Clothing Crafting, and Vests & Harnesses Crafting. User learns this technique and gains 1 Crafting Experience for Clothing Crafting, further increasing their ability to make specific clothes.
Limit: Must be a Crafter.

~ You are allowed 15 slots for the secondary weapons. I know it shows how much of each item you have, but could you please post the number of slots each one takes up instead? It would make it much easier on staff.

~Because you have a blood limit you start off with three freebies and three starter techs. You don't need to list the academy techs since all ninja start with them. The freebies include things such as releases and perceptions. If you go beyond three then you cut into your starter techs. Choose the starters and freebies carefully!

1) Custom Technique - While you made some key points on the technique, there are a couple things I was looking for. 1) We aren't accepting Genjutsu right now. 2) This isn't a phantasm technique, It would be Pattern. 3) This technique also already exists, in a sense. When making it, I was actually looking at a Technique in our Genjutsu index, known as "Dazzling Lights" A D rank, Pattern Technique. Quoted below for you to see.

Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: Creates an effect to where the opponent and all those that see would notice the creation of Lights scattering all around to be used as a safety precaution against the animal kingdom or as a minor distraction against the opponents the user wishes upon.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Has no great effect against the opponent, is not used as a destroy type of technique.
Description: A Brilliance of lights is created to mess with the opponent's sense of sight. Different shades of colors apply out as they are shown within the mind's eye of the opponent. Vibrant colors shine in all directions changing here and there, as they create a minor daze against those who see these types of lights as they grow brightly continuing to mess with the very sense of sight. The opponent must merely look at the user, the opponent does not have to glance or really look into the very eyes of the user in order to be gazed into such a technique. This type of technique is used against those of the animal kind as well but the effect is slightly more different then that of a humanoid opponent. When done against those of the animal kind the opponent will become slightly dazed as their eyes glimmer in sparkle watching the magnificence of such dazzling lights. The distance that the user is capable of using this technique in is at a distance of Ten meters. For every Class the user gains in the distance increases by five meters. If the user is a Specialist, the distance increases by ten meters. If the user is a Master then the distance increases by fifteen meters.

2) Support Question - Honestly, I think you hit that right on the nail. Very good description of Crafting, and I think it would definitely help the member who would read that. Well done.

3) Character Bio - Okay first off, I derped... I MEANT to say Med/Nin Specialist, Gen/Tai Non-Specialist. Unfortunately, I forgot that. SO! That was a slight fail on my part. As for the bio, you pointed out a few things, but not everything.

So you missed quite a bit on Character, and a few things on the custom tech. I'm glad to see how well you got the support question, and with how much detail you put into it. Unfortunately, you missed a bit too much for my tastes on the character submission and the custom. Had it only been the custom and maybe one thing on the character, I would probably accept you.

As I said before, you have the drive to be an assistant, and I do like that about you. You really do have what it takes. You just need a little bit more work. I would love to see you on staff. But I don't think you are quite ready just yet. Read through a few more things, continue helping out like you have been doing, and apply again later. I really do think you'll make a great assistant, but you need just a little bit more time. For now, my denial is going to stand. But I hope to see you continue to help out and apply again later. For the technique I knew that it wasn't allowed and I looked through and saw that there was one like it. I couldn't tell if it should be under the phantism so I just left it (oops) But I thought I was just grading the technique as if I was going to grade any technique, not if I would accept it if it was actually posted. my B.

And as for the character bio, I do see that I messed up a bit. I did tell him about the academy techs and after the 4 specialist thing and the crazy variety of mess ups I would have waited for his first modification and then gone in to 'tighten the bolts' or to fix up what was left. I did notice the lightning and the CPR and all of that but would assume that it would change anyways after he re-picked his specialist info and his releases and starters. If he still messed up of course I would correct him.

As for the Piano (BIG OOPS) I can't believe I didn't see that, Everything I see just shows 'like a piano' I couldn't find an actual 'Piano' choice. And I did not realize he had to choose between his main weapon and the piano (you learn something new everyday)

I did also miss the B ranked secondaries (hopefully someone else would catch that, or I would catch it after the big mod had happened) And as for the slots I told him to list the slots to make it easier to count to 15 (hopefully he would realize he was lacking at that point)

I do understand the denial if thats how it is, Thank you for the opportunity and I hope that the explanations I gave will effect either your or the next staffs decision.

It always pleases me to see someone respond in a way that I mentioned. In regards to your response, I'm glad that you noticed those things, but thats why you need to post them as you see them. Easier to list everything that might be wrong with a character's bio, then tell them one thing, have them fix that, and then go through numerous back and forth posts to get it fixed right. List everything that is wrong with a bio when you first grade it because it helps get the person to be accepted that much quicker.

Everyone makes mistakes, and as an assistant, you are going to make them. It happens. Hell, even mods make mistakes. Even Kurenai, Ayame, and Heero make them too. EVERYONE makes mistakes. Its all about learning from them and correcting them. That being said, your response pleases me. My denial has been changed to an acceptance. I still would love to see you on staff, but I also don't decide your fate. I think with the right person to watch over you, you'd do very well as an assistant.
