A Confrontation on the Bamboo Path (Open)

((First fight since I've been back, so about three years. I apologize for any mistakes I make in advance.))

Only two opponents in this fight (duel).
Opponent should be within a couple hundred points of me.
No IIC, though fast posting is appreciated!

Battlefield:


The fight will be taking place on a path in a bamboo forest. The path is approximately six feet wide, and the bamboo railing is approximately two feet tall. The fight should be condensed to an area on the main path, if possible, which extends from south to north indefinitely. The time of day is sunset, and the sun has painted the sky a brilliant shade of orange.

The air is cool, and mostly stagnant. Leaves litter the ground in the bamboo forest off of the road.

Introduction (Complete)

Bokoura walked steadily along the dirt road, heading north. Each footfall made a light thud, and a light ruffling of his rather baggy pants, creating a rhythm with each clap of his sandals against the road. His black robe, as per usual, was wrapped around his waist, tied together by the sleeves, leaving his tanned chest exposed. His skin and bright blonde hair glistened with sweat from the long journey, and the air was finally beginning to cool off, the fading sunlight barely able to penetrate the thick bamboo forest lining the road.

Occasionally he would look around as he walked, perhaps slightly paranoid, his gray-blue eyes darting about and his hand reaching for his utility pouch, which he kept strapped to his waist on the right side for easy access. The blade of the scythe on his back gleamed as Bokoura passed by creeping sunbeams.

The girl was no exception and carried with her ten swords, a few pills of different sorts and a pair of goggles had been worn on her face. She hopped over the fence from the small clearing and found herself just a few meters away from the man, she looked him up and down then raised one of her swords slightly with a smirk. They were now ten meters apart give or a take a few centimeters or so. She wore on her body the ten swords, to each side of her waist would be five and on her torso and legs would be a pair of black shorts and a bright pink hooded jacket over the top of an undershirt. "Wannna have a fight? I need to test out these new techniques I learnt recently." If the answer was yes the girl would immediately detach the swords on her waist excluding three in which were ,left untouched. Followed by this she would enter the stance rather quickly, this was provided the man had honour and did not attack while she was doing this. If he even attempted to make handseals or attack her with the weapon she could barely spot on his back she would rush him. Description: A Sword with a blade between 3 feet to 4. These weapons range from any types of blades such as the long Sword, the Falchion, Katana, Tachi, Jian, Rapier, the Scimitr, the Shinai, and Waster. Any of these weapons or any weapon that fits within the length is considered as a long sword.

Soldier Pill x 2
Location: Every Region
Preparation: Ingredient include: Ginseng, Gariig. First you will need to take the Gariig found only in desert regions and ground it up with a mortar and pestle. After it has become fine sand like substance, you will need to set up a bowl where you will then place the Ginseng leaf in. After grinding the ginseng up and mixing it with the ground Gariig, you will need to make the two into a pill. To do this you just mix the powders in water then let them dry molding it into a ball/pill like shape.
Special: Can be made by finding things in nature based off of the ingredients rarity, or found within any medical item shop.
Description: Soldier pills are used to increase stamina as well as chakra, but have the downside of once they wear off (after about 3 days) the user will suffer from severe fatigue and anxiety (probably due to the fact that soldier pills are like supercharged speed). Essentially, after taking a soldier pill, whatever chakra/stamina you have remaining is doubled. It does not increase your chakra/stamina past its maximum, and if you take one when you have full endurance it will actually negatively affect you by giving you a mild seizure. For example: you have 40% chakra left, after taking this pill it increases to 80% left.
Drawback: the effects of the pill will wear off after the thread it was used in is over, or 3 travel days, at which point you will suffer from anxiety and fatigue. The fatigue will make it so all of your movement abilities are halved and you will not be able to perform any techniques equal to or higher then your class level. The fatigued effect will wear off after 10 IC posts. If you take a pill when you have full chakra/stamina, then you will suffer from a mild seizure because the excessive hormones within your body will cause an odd overload in some of your systems which will cause a type of shockwave to your brain. The seizure will incapacitate you for 5 posts, and you will still suffer the fatigue drawback caused by taking the pill normally.

Effect: A pill that stops bleeding and accelerates the red blood system.

Drawback: ---
Description: The pill is about 1/2 in diameter about roughly the size of a regular Marble, the color of the pill is a bit darken from all the different herbs that were mixed into it. The pill is able to activate somewhat of a chemical reaction in the body that will trigger the Thrombus or also commonly know as (Blood Clot) is the final product of the blood coagulation step in hemostasis a very important part (the cessation of blood loss from a damaged vessel). A thrombus in a large blood vessel will decrease blood flow through the vessel that has been damage. So that the blood will then thicken and form a clot of blood cells and fibrin strands to stop the bleeding when blood vessel is severed.

Description: There are different types of Goggles. There are different types of Goggles such as Cold Weather Goggles, Swimming, Power Tool Goggles, Blowtorch Goggles, Welding Goggles, Laboratory Goggles, and Aviation Goggles. Goggles are often worn as a fashion statement in certain subcultures, most often as part of the cybergoth subculture. They are usually worn over the eyes or up on the forehead to secure 'falls'. Goggles have enough carrying capacity for 4 types of Surveillance Vision. Does not fit in Scroll size Slots.

Description: A vision that perceives thermal radiation and do not need a source of illumination. They produce an image in the darkest of nights and can see through light fog, rain and smoke. It detects heat signatures that are located around within field of vision. The hotter the image the more light is produced. Only capable of seeing through a single wall as it is completely solid unlike fog, smoke, and rain.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Gadget Shop.

[Bokoura]

Bokoura seemed a bit startled as the woman cleared the fence, but relaxed when the challenger seemed to mean no lethal harm. He wiped his forehead with the back of his hand and smiled at her.

"A fight, you say?" he called to her in response to her challenge. "Well, I'm supposed to be delivering a message, but I'm sure I've earned a break." He watched her as she drew her blades and entered her battle stance. Already thoughts were racing through his mind, eyeing her and the surrounding forest as he developed a strategy. He raised a brow at the young woman. “That’s quite a few swords you have there,” he remarked with genuine interest, stretching out his arms and legs a bit and getting into a stable standing position.

Assuming the woman did not immediately charge him, Bokoura would say, “I suppose I should properly introduce myself before we begin. My name is Bokoura, a pleasure making your acquaintance.” He would wait for her introduction before continuing, “And with that said, let’s begin!” If she did in fact charge him at any point during this exchange he would begin forming hand seals instead while trying simultaneously attempting to keep the distance between the two of them as wide as possible for the time being.^[1]

If his opponent waited until his shout to begin, he would begin forming hand seals, making the ground open beneath her left foot with a crumbling noise and causing her to stumble, regardless of if she was moving yet or not, and then close around her ankle, rendering her immobile.^[1] Assuming this distracted her for even a few moments, he would follow up his technique with another, forming more hand seals before drawing his scythe and charging her, assuming she was still pinned.^[2] Knowing that this was merely a fight to test her abilities, he certainly would not aim to kill her. However, Bokoura would aim to jab his opponent with the butt of his scythe in her chest.

If his opponent somehow managed to escape from the earthy prison enveloping her leg at any point during the attack, Bokoura would instead form a set of hand seals and vanish from sight.^[3] He would head off the road, now invisible, and hop over the fence into the bamboo thicket before making his next move.

Drawback: The effect is only illusionary, meaning that it does nothing to the opponent if they break the illusion.
Description: Gathering chakra via use of handseals, the shinobi releases this chakra to attack the opponent's brain. The brain, thus affected, will cause an illusion within the mind stimulating the senses of touch, sound, and sight. Within the opponent's vision, a small portion of the ground will gave way underneath either their right of left foot, causing them to lose their balance slightly. They will then find that the ground is seemingly closed again, except now their foot is caught within the ground. Unless dispelled, they become unable to move away from that spot.
Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception

Effect: Shuffles the targets information-processing system, making one attack appear to be something very different. Duration: five rounds
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Different shuffle sets are not controllable
Description: After finishing the seals, the target is totally immersed in the genjutsu, as well as totally unable to realize that they were affected, as it only shuffles appearances, but all in all still appears real. There are three distinct shuffle sets:
mirror shuffle: the target sees everything in mirror image, an attack from the left actually coming from the right, top actually from bottom, elemental NinJutsu appear opposite of their element.
clutter shuffle: the target sees everything at a completely random setup, much more effective than the mirror shuffle, as an attack from either side could appear to be coming from the bottom or vice versa.
perfect random: the most powerful illusion, in this version a TaiJutsu may not even be so, it could be a ninjutsu, or even a completely different taijutsu. A target trapped in this level of illusion looks like a complete idiot more often than not, guarding from attacks that do not exist.
Limit: Must have Genjutsu specialist to perform clutter or perfect shuffles. Must have the Phantasm Perception.

Effect: The creature or object touched becomes invisible, vanishing from sight, even from dark vision.

Drawback: The Jutsu ends if the subject attacks any creature. If the user who performs the technique attacks, the invisibility sphere ends.
Description: The creature or object touched becomes invisible, vanishing from sight, even from dark vision. If the recipient is a creature carrying gear, that vanishes, too. If the user casts the jutsu on someone else, neither you nor your allies can see the subject, unless those are capable of seeing through GenJutsus. Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Light, however, never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). Any part of an item that the subject carries but that extends more than 10 feet from it becomes visible. Of course, the subject is not silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as stepping in a puddle). Actions directed at unattended objects do not break the Jutsu. Causing harm indirectly is not an attack. Thus, an invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, summon monsters and have them attack, cut the ropes holding a rope bridge while enemies are on the bridge, remotely trigger traps, open a portcullis to release attack dogs, and so forth.

She launched forwards, the speed at which she traveled was immense and she suddenly curled into a ball as she traveled. The result was a ball of seven spinning blades all completely directed for the man with the scythe, if he did not think of a way to dodge discretely she would find herself easily changing trajectory and use the technique to it's full extent. The idea and way this technique would be performed would result in collision taking place around the same time the genjutsu would have been activated. Causing serious harm if he let this happen and did not dodge. Landing back onto the ground provided she was not being struck at she would strengthen her bicep and suddenly the power of her left arm would increase. She would analyze her opponent, watching every movement he performed still wondering what kind of fighter he was. Hyou Kin Dama (豹琴玉, Leopard Golden Ball) Rank: "B" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: The user jumps forward while spinning in the air, forming a ball shape with their blades. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: This is basically a feinting maneuver, so even if the target manages to read the pattern of this attack and move out of the user's trajectory, they will still be cut as the user careens past them. Depending on the user's class depends on how far the user is able to spin forward and move around without stopping and needing to touch the ground. "D" Class - Travels 10 Meters "C" Class - Travels 15 Meters "B" Class - Travels 20 Meters "A" Class - Travels 30 Meters "S" Class - Travels 40 Meters Limit: Must have 100 Training Points in Nitōryū Attacks (二刀流, Two Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style) Ichi Gorilla (一剛力羅, One Gorilla) Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A power up technique that allows the user to attack as if the attack was 1 rank higher than normal. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The user flexes their left or right bicep. This technique builds hitting power and allows the user to hit with their techniques 1 rank higher than normal. User may hold this technique for an amount of 2 rounds before resting for 5. The pun is of course, 'one great strength' and gorilla. This was first seen being used against Kaku. Limit: Must have 100 Training Points in Nitōryū Attacks (二刀流, Two Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must have Mastered the Style with 500 Training Points.

[Bokoura]

Bokoura looked shocked. He figured she would be a taijutsu user simply by the sheer amount of weapons she was carrying, but he had no clue she would be so fast! The style and speed of her movements wouldn’t allow him to be able to pull off his jutsu realistically, let alone in time.

Shit, he thought, dropping his hands. He had to move, or he was screwed. He pivoted on his right foot and turned his body sideways so that he was facing west. He then kicked off the ground with his left foot, towards the fence on the eastern side of the road, trying to minimize the area of his body open to the attack. The speed of his opponent, however, was too great. As the torrent of whirling blades shot by him, his chest still received a series of slashes that went all the way across his torso, and he grunted in pain as he began to bleed.

Shit! he thought again. He needed something fast to buy some time; this girl wasn’t messing around. In a short flurry of hand seals, Bokoura disappeared from sight off of the road.^[1] Even if his opponent was keen enough to track his movement, his exact location would be unknown, and it would require time to redirect her attack in order to face him, giving him ample room to dodge if necessary. In addition, the amount of noise being made by her own technique would most likely block out something as subtle as a footfall on dry leaves. If she did somehow manage to pinpoint his exact location while he was stationary and begin making a direct course toward him, he would simply jump out of the way and wait for an ample opportunity to be open to perform his next jutsu.^[2] Until then, she seemed to have left her form and strengthened her arm.

Meanwhile, assuming his target is within range (30 meters, which she should be given the range of her jutsu), invisible and in the cover of some bamboo shoots a couple meters off of the road, Bokoura performed a series of hand seals and let loose a brilliant display of mind-numbing colors from his right hand, directing it straight at the young woman.^[2] Seeing as it should have a diameter about equal to its range at the end of the cone, and seeing as she couldn’t be more than about 15 meters away, there would be virtually no way of avoiding it in any direction. This display would render his invisibility useless, but he didn’t care at this point. Checkmate, he thought with a vicious grin.

Those affected by this Jutsu can see each other and themselves as if unaffected by the Jutsu. Any affected creature moving out of the area becomes visible, but creatures moving into the area after the Jutsu are cast do not become invisible. Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Light, however, never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). Effect: A Jutsu where the user creates a vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from the user's hand, causing creatures to become stunned, perhaps also blinded, and possibly knocking them unconscious.

Description: A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from your hand, causing creatures to become stunned, perhaps also blinded, and possibly knocking them unconscious. Depending on the strength of the opponent and the strength of the user depends on how well this technique works upon them. If the opponent is the same class level as that of the user or below the opponent becomes unconscious, blinded, and stunned for six rounds, then when they wake they will be blinded and stunned for two rounds, and then only stunned for one round. If the opponent is one or two classes stronger then that of the user then they are blinded and stunned for four rounds, then stunned for one round additionally. If the opponent is three to four class levels higher then that of user the opponent is only stunned for one round. This technique happens only within a burst of a cone like shape within thirty meters of range.

Her bicep had changed into something that seemed inhuman by harnessing a technique of the santoryu style. The girl's attacks were going to be stronger than before and as a result of their rather close bodies she would attack him just after had turned with a roll of her body using three blades in a rather ridiculous way. The extreme speed would close the tiny distance between them and cancel out any attack her opponent had prepared to use, she would rather unpredictably switch between each of the three swords on her upper body. Each would strike towards her opponent hoperfully catch him off guard in an impressive display of power. The fact was Miyuki believed she might as well attack the area in which the man went invisible rather than sitting around doing nothing in order to get attacked from nowhere. Ro-ru Hada (Body Roll) Rank: "C", "B", "A", "S" +1 Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: Allows the user to roll forward with extreme speed and power, unleashing a flurry of strikes in a sporadic movement. Special: -- Drawback: This technique can leave the user open to attack if disrupted. Description: One of the more direct attacks, the Ro-ru Hada allows the user to roll forward with great power and speed, striking out at the opponent with the multiple swords being held in a simultaneous, fluent fashion. When first learned, the user is capable of striking out with four of the seven swords (C-rank). Upon being learned further, the user will increase their ability to use other swords by one each time until all seven can be used in a flurry of strikes (B - 5, A -6, S - 7). Limit: Must have Mastered Santōryū Attacks (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style)

((I'm going to go ahead and concede this one. I learned a lot, and that's what's important, but there's really no way I can recover at this point with my current skill set. Good fight! I'll have to have a rematch with you some time, once I am better at fighting. >.<))

Bokoura was unable to counter the incredible speed of the young woman, and was ripped to shreds by her flurry of blades, blood splattering the nearby bamboo.
