Effect: The user causes a shuriken to spin intensely fast, greatly increasing it’s cutting power.

Description: The user forms the hand seals, focusing chakra into held or thrown shuriken. The shuriken will begin to spin excessively fast, reminiscent of a saw blade. With this it gains enhanced cutting power, much like a saw blade does, to shear through wood, bite into stone, and slash the human body deeply.
Limit: Universal Ninjutsu.

Sakomaru walked out of the Mizukage's Tower calmly. Outside the air was damp but the town was bustling as it was the middle of the day. The air smelled of rain and Sakomaru decided it was time to learn a new technique.

"I need to gain more power or I will be helpless" Sakomaru thought to himself. First he had to decide a safe and private place to train.

After searching around the bustling Kirigakure, He finally a place to train, it was a large patch of grass near the right edge of the village. It was empty when Sakomaru arrived.

Sakomaru knew exactly what technique he wanted to learn, he had seen it been done many times by the local Chunin. He wanted to learn the Shuriken Spin technique. "Yes that one will do" he muttered while remembering the Chunin perform it. He even asked one how it was performed, in which the chunin replied "Just focus your chakra and make it spin, kid.". Sakomaru pulled a shuriken from his butt pack with his left hand. He was ready to start.

He threw the shuriken high in the air in front of him as he pressed his hands together. "Ninja Art, Shuriken Lumber Spin!" he shouted as he performed the handsigns, he focused his chakra on the shuriken and tensed his body. He focused on the spin of the shuriken yet it still fell to the ground.

"Maybe this is not as easy as I thought" Sakomaru said to himself. "Maybe, Concentrating on an object will help" Sakomaru said. He looked over at a tree and decided that was his target.

Sakomaru went over and picked up his shuriken. He concentrated hard as he threw the shuriken towards the tree, he pressed his hands together and shouted "Ninja Art, Shuriken Lumber Spin!". The shuriken bounced harmlessly off the tree and fell to the grass. Sakomaru sighed and walked over to the tree to examine it. After looking up and down the tree he found that he had not even made a dent. "Crap" he muttered,

He retrieved his shuriken and suddenly ahd an idea. "Maybe practice on something more easily beaten". "Water Clone Jutsu!" Sakomaru shouted. A clone of water appeared in Sakomaru's image beside Sakomaru. "Okay then" Sakomaru said. He told his clone to wait down at the other side of the grass patch. He threw his shuriken at his clone and shouted once again "Ninja Art, Shuriken Lumber Spin!" The shuriken flew towards Sakomaru's clone and went straight threw it's stomach. Sakomaru realised the spin on the water as the shuriken went through. "Improvement" Sakomaru said proudly.

Sakomaru walked over to the fallen shuriken while smiling, he stepped over the damp patch in the grass where his clone dissolved. He picked up his shuriken, "Okay I can spin it slightly" he thought, "Now to see if I can spin it earlier" he thought to himself.

Sakomaru walked back up to the top of the patch of grass and turned to a tree. "Time for the tree tactic again" he concluded in his head. He threw the shuriken at the tree and shouted Ninja Art, Shuriken Lumber Spin!" Sakomaru focused all his chakra on the spin of the shuriken, the shuriken flew and at the last minute spun, through the air and one corner stuck itself within the tree. "Getting better, every time" Sakomaru thought.

He walked over to the tree and pulled the shuriken out of it. Sakomaru had an idea "Maybe spin it while it's not moving". He threw the shuriken up over his head and focused all his chakra on the shuriken. It spun around in mid-air a couple of times before it dropped to the ground. Sakomaru repeated this process twice more yet no change.

"One more time" he said aloud. He threw the shuriken up and once again focused his chakra, The shuriken spun around and hit the ground but when it made contact with the grass it spun and made a small hole. Sakomaru pumped his fist high in the air.

Sakomaru bent down and once again picked up his shuriken, "How do I make it spin more?" Sakomaru questioned himself. "Well practice makes perfect I guess" he concluded. Once again, he focused on the very same tree.

He repeated the process of Concentrating his chakra on the shuriken and the spin. Multiple times the shuriken stuck itself into the tree at different points, Spinning a bit more every time.

He discarded the shuriken as it had taken a lot of damage. He withdrew a new shuriken and thought of a new way to train.

He threw the shuriken across the surface of the grass, It cut up the pieces of the grass as it spun through the air. "Nice way to make money" Sakomaru thought. He continued this until the grass was cut. A few onlookers watched silently from their balcony's. Sakomaru decided that he did not want people watching him as he is a private person. He decided to return later to master the technique, In the meantime he would take on a mission.

He walked silently off the patch of grass and headed towards the Mizukage's Tower.
