Green eyes blinked when the other mentioned being from the Land of Thunder as well, not having expected that. But she wasn't too worried, not thinking it a possibility that Kotomi could possible know every single person within the entire country, and she merely nodded at what the other woman said. "I'm a mercenary, I just travel around and take care of small problems that people may have," she was completely lying through her teeth now, but it was a lie she had well practiced because she never told people what her true profession was outside of when she was doing things for Yukigakure. She didn't bother returning the question, somewhat expecting the other to go ahead and answer it as well of her own accord. Hesitantly she picked up the rolling assault bag that had appeared as well, putting the pair of skates that she had found earlier into it.

You hear an eerie sound before you stumble upon a Huge Harp... but no one is around and playing it... may as well take it!

Kotomi would find the profession of the young woman before her to be quite odd. For one, her physique was quite misleading for such a field of work... Thunder country mercenaries she had met before tended to be the opposite of what she was... But then again, perhaps she was such a skilled killer, she could easily afford to have such qualities... Or Cedany could be a really bad liar as well. No matter. A book should not be judged by its cover after all. Perhaps the woman spoke nothing but the truth. No time to toil upon it.

"If you are wandering" Kotomi replied, as Cedany did not seem to ask.
"I am a Medic of the highest order. A free lance one at that..."

Kootmi would pause, and notice that the woman was not as responsive to Kotomi and her questions. Not wanted to seem like she was pressuring for answers, Kotomi would give the woman the option of skipping the introductions all together.

"If you wish not to speak to me, or have questioned asked, you may merely say so" spoke the ivory haired woman.
"I can respect privacy if you value it so"

Kotomi would pick up a book from the floor, and add it to her collection nonchalantly.

"Oh no, it's not that I don't want to speak with you, really," Cedany insisted, pausing for a moment before she continued, "It's just a dangerous world we live in, you know? Never know who you might meet." The Yukigakure shinobi was cautious of course, but she certainly didn't like being rude either. And she had thought that her story as a mercenary was believable enough since she never said that she couldn't mold chakra herself, and had even displayed it when she had gotten herself out of the hole. "It's certainly impressive that you're an accomplished medic though, I honestly don't think I would have the patience for that sort of thing," the Kaishin chuckled a little awkwardly, trying to show that she wasn't about to just blow of the woman's attempts at conversation off.

Kotomi would find a set of sake balls on the floor. Not wanting to waste them, she would pocket the bunch and continue her conversation. It would seem that Kotomi assumed incorrectly. She had the right mind set when being caution. Who could blame her? Its a dog eat dog world after all. Death was a sure thing, life was not. "I see your logic" replied Kotomi responding to her earlier. "If I was a threat, you could have killed me by now... in vice-verse...". Kotomi spoke with a cold callous voice, but their was an air of truth to her words. "My hands have saved a many lives" she continued. "But I have taken as well... nothing I am proud of".

Her hand would glow blue with a hue of faint chakra. She created a scalpel of Chakra, and presented the skill before the woman. A blade that saves and takes.

"Do you find your field of work pleasant?" asked the woman as her chakra scalpel dissipates.

For a moment the brunette tensed when Kotomi started mentioning killing, something that certainly wasn't her favorite about being a shinobi. There would have been a short and awkward silence, had it not been for the giant hammer that suddenly fell down onto her foot, and she cried out in pain as she took yanked her foot away from it and sat down on the still icy ground, cradling her foot protectively in her lap. "Son of a bitch," she cursed beneath her breath, rocking back and forth lightly before she created water and ice out of thin air and held it against her foot to numb the pain. "I just like helping people," Cedany admitted truthfully, looking up at the other woman from her new spot of sitting on the ground.

Kotomi would find a large shield on the ground. It was engraved with the name "Shobatsu" but alas... when she picked it up, it turned into a pile of 10,000 Ryo!!!!

The woman would watch a hammer fall upon the young woman's foot out of thin air. She would heal her foot with water and ice she created from thin air thereafter. She would go on and talk about helping others. The culmination of the things she that unfurled before Kotomi lead her to believe that the brunette was not saying all the truth. How could a person be a mercenary, and not enjoy the act of killing? You don't necessarily 'help' people as a mercenary. You'd really be helping yourself. That, and you seem to own dominion over elemental skills. Odd. Truly odd.

"You must be an oddity amongst mercenaries" Kotomi replied. Her brow raised slightly, as she watched the woman cringed. She picked up money from the floor, and paced around the woman.
"What kind of 'helpful' acts do you perform as a mercenary? As I understand the trade, Killing doesn't really help much people in need. Perhaps you are doing so in a manner I am not aware of?" she carried on.
"Or does the robin hood motif befit your life style? Killing and giving away profits... Sorry if I may seem like I am prying, but your becoming more of a unique character with each passing second..."

[Cedany]

The slightly injured snow ninja couldn't help but tense a little as the woman walked around her and picked apart her tale of being a mercenary, thinking that maybe her lie could be found out if it was dug into deep enough. "You could say that," she muttered, shifting her weight a little on the ground. "I try to only take jobs from civilians, there are quite a bit for protecting small towns that are probably away from the hidden villages, where defenses are low. Or in rural areas people need beasts that are killing their livestock slain. Not all the work available is for killing based on ill intent. As I said, it's a dangerous world," she defended her lie, not wanting to be caught on it now even though she knew by building it up, she could be digging her hole deeper.

Himiko - That stupid inter-dimensional portal is going crazy again! This time you've wound up deep in the jungles of the Land of Grass... why does it seem like there's something waiting to attack?

Cedany - You stumble across five slots of Tremor Stones… Interesting.

Kaiser had obviously fallen asleep as he opened his eyes a blue crystal was sitting next to him. Grabbing it, he threw it in with his bulging purse of money. It seemed to be worth about 500 Ryo, not bad... not bad at all. Still looking he would notice that the Cloud nin had dissapeared. "You know... she could have said goodbye at least..." Not really comprehending what had happened to her was the same thing that happened to him beforehand.

"No need for good byes" Kotomi said, as she brushed herself off, and began to walk forth from a thicket of brush. She would proceed to dust herself off, and rejoin her traveling party. "I rather not explain myself" Kotomi replied, as she now stood amongst her peers. She would see that the grey-haired gentlemen would return to the group, and give him a simple nod. She would proceed to inform him of the events that had occurred since his departure.

"So good to see you have returned" she said in a monotone voice.
"Cedany and I were becoming acquainted with one of another... sharing each other's professions. If I am not mistaken, we have yet to know your name"

Giving an eerie smile, Asmire's mouth contorted into a nightmarish grin. "My name? I don't think it's of any importance, but you may call me Kaiser." He continued with the incredibly unsettling grin as a robe fell next to him, snatching it up he would put it on immediately. "Finders keepers I suppose." He turned his head to Smokey, who was had returned to sleeping. "Lazy ass toads... I'm trying to teach him how to breath fire, it's not working out too well..." He would add. "It sounds crazy, but supposedly his species can spit out... like... beams of fire or some crazy shit like that."

For a little while, Cedany merely fell silent as she watched the other two, eventually climbing back up onto her feet as the pain of the hammer falling on it began to ebb away. The ten strange little black stones she carefully picked up as well, and added them to the large rolling pack that she had found earlier. And she probably would have remained silent for a little while longer, if it wasn't for something that the man had said in particular. "Breath fire? You sure that's safe? I mean, wouldn't the toad's skin blister underneath the heat?" Again the young and curious brunette was so full of questions, curious and certainly not afraid to ask.

"Fire toads is the type of pet you have correct Kaiser?" asked Kotomi. "They can quite uncommon, but can be found in thunder country. Is this were you found your current companion?" she would ask again. Living within the thunder country for so long, one would be very familiar with the fauna of the lands. Kotomi moved the subject of conversation onto Kaiser now, as she could sense the growing unsteadiness in cedany. No need to further pursue what she really was for now. It would be better to gather information on both of them anyway. Perhaps they could prove useful to the ivory haired woman some where down the line.

Kotomi would proceed to pick up random senbon from the floor.
