Immovable Object- Bear Country Approach

The day had progressed slowly since the briefing back in the heart of Tsuchi no Kuni, a small group of vehicles sat at the gate to transport the team that would approach from Bear country and assault the dome as well as two more to transport the remaining ninja to their destinations. Whoever was in this team would be instructed to board the RideBacks and the journey to the borders of Suna, Bears and Earth would then begin.

The drive would be short, a minimum of three hours at the most, while inside the team would be allowed to take inventory of their items, rest, resupply on munitions for their ranged weapons and basic grenades and be provided a small map that showed the pathways between the three countries in the case they became lost in the fighting or, assuming they ever got in, exited the dome and were unaware of their surroundings.

Upon arrival the RideBack would stop at the top of a towering sand dune, the drivers would direct everyone to exit from the overhead opening doors and meet up with the field commander for their instructions on what exactly was going on at the very moment. The Rideback would reverse as the last passenger exited and retreat a safe distance from the inevitable battle field. Their tracks embedded deep in the sand that now expanded out as far as the eye could see.

It was not even 150 meters away that the dome sat in plain view, its massive construction reaching up towards the sky, as if to assert its dominance over the field as a whole and intimidate even the most hearty and proud of men. This was the target for this mission...as daunting as it seemed. The wind picked up hard, blowing a small sand storm in their direction. In the midst of the miniature flurry the outline of a man appeared, the sand dispersing as he swung his arm out and stepped forward.

"Ohhh so these are the our so call saviors hmm?" The mans voice was so faint, it seemed to be carried off by the wind. "I suppose you arent a bad lot...I am Kaef Kazechuusin, listen to me during this fight and you might survive."

Draven had enough time to hit a shop and get some soldier pills. While in the truck he would indeed take inventory:

Draven would be in his SWM puppet. He had a plethora of equipment on his person. Worn on his back was a large scroll strapped to the small of his back horizontally. On top of that there was a Tower shield that he used when he is out of his puppet, when ever that may be. On his left ear he had his wireless radio, and it was tuned to his villages frequency, unless otherwise noted for a specific mission. He wore glasses on his face, with anti-flash lenses. A pair of top quality ear plugs hung around his neck. He wore a utility belt around his waist. On his right forearm he had a handheld surveillance monitor lashed down, that was linked to his 220lb Draw Rifle Crossbow camera vision. Within his utility belt he had 40 explosive tags, 9 kunai, and 17 Soldier pills. On his right arm he had a triple utility pouch that had 6 Soldier pills within it. Within his huge scroll he had 5 SI-BOMB puppets that had 6 grenades installed into their self destruction cores, each.

The puppet he was in was called SI-SWM. On the inside of the puppet, there was a monitor that was linked up with a camera in the eyes. Underneath that monitor was another for the RADAR function of its sensory system. It had a plethora of defensive systems, and other miscellaneous systems. Inside the puppet installed onto the walls by the monitors were a Compass Electronic (Overview), and a Compass Gyrocompass (Overview), so that he won’t get lost.

The SWM puppet itself was wearing its own plethora of equipment. On its thighs it had double knife kunai holders, which had 2 kunais each. On its entire body it wore an Akimichi sized robe that had its good drawn up so that it would be difficult to see the puppetry of the puppet, unless it had its arm mechanism going, or its wings. The robe had slits cut in the back ingeniously enough so that they wont flap open, unless the wings were deployed or he was getting out of the puppet. One would have to have some knowledge of puppetry to an idea about the SWM's capabilities. Within the robe there was 40 explosive tags, and 10 kunais. The kunais all had explosive tags attached to them. The puppet was holding another puppet with its left arm. This puppet was able to be used as a shield, and was in its shield mode. The right arm of the SWM puppet had an interesting feature to split into three separate different arms that connected at the shoulder. One arm was the main arm and had five fingers, the second had three fingers, and the third had three red tipped fingers. This mechanism was active when the right arm was wielding a crossbow.

This crossbow is a 4ft long 220lb Draw Rifle Crossbow t, that had a Monocular attached to the sights. The Monocular had a zoom function of x12, X-Ray vision, Thermal Vision, and a Camera vision that was linked to a handheld surveillance monitor that was strapped to his arm on the inside of the puppet. Also attacked to the crossbow was a Pouch Projector: Portable: Dual Release. The dials were on the stock of the crossbow, and the tanks coming from the bottom of the stock. It had hoses that ran the length of the crossbow till it peaked down one the business end of the crossbow so the thing was functional. The crossbow itself was strapped behind its right shoulder, so that the right arm had easy access to it. Also strapped to the right shoulder for easy access was a Huge shoulder mounted quiver. Within the quiver there were 150 normal bolts and 150 specialty bolts. These specialty bolts were comprised of as such. 50 had blunt point arrowheads, 50 had mechanical blade arrowheads, and 50 had fragmentation arrowheads. 100 of those had basic shafts while 50 had splitting shaft. All the specialty bolts had razor blade fetching on them. Also strapped to the outside of the shoulder was a Triple Utility Pouch which holds nothing in it. Loaded into the crossbow's Pouch Projector: Portable: Dual Release, 6 cylinders were: 15 goo pouches (1 slot), 15 pouch:smoke (1 slot), 15 pouch: Incendiary (1 slot), 15 Pouch: Elemental: Lightning (1 slot), and Pouch: Elemental: Ice (1 slot).

The puppet that the SWM was using as a shield was called SI-CRAB. It had its own plethora of defensive systems, and a few other miscellaneous systems. Draven just got done checking everything before deciding it was ready to go. Currently the puppet in its shield mode, can give full coverage with a 5th wide, with 7 1/2ft tall dimensions.








Draven didn't have a need for the re-supply, but wish he did. This would have saved him some Ryo, and he is all about that. But no matter he was happy with being fully loaded anyway. The truck would eventually stop and he would exit from within his SWM puppet.

Then a man appeared on Dravens monitor. He could already see through the sand, since the camera vision on his SWM was set to infrared. this helped with picking up targets. Though his RADAR would have seen anything within the area and knew the exact topography of the land, along with who ever may inhabit the area. This was set up on a different monitor within his SWM puppet. Then this man would speak. "so called saviors hmm?" the man would ask. Surely that was not directed at him. He of all people would have the nads to take this thing on himself. If it came down to it he would. He only hoped the other two on his team were up to snuff to keep up with him.

Draven could already see the Dome on his RADAR. He could tell the exact dimension for it from here. Also the puppets eyes were trained on the thing and the laser beam that could judge distance was aimed right for it. 150 meters, that was actually a short distance for him. He could make that distance in 2 seconds if he wanted to. But he still needed all the data to appear on his RADAR and see exactly what kind of enemy he would be facing before he made any decisions.

axel still carrying his great sword and now tracking needls came to the truck he saw the man in the large puppet was allready here he asked him waht his name was and jumped on the vheicle

Phyre rode in the back of the vehicle watching the sights of scenery pass her by. She was quite unused to technology, which was why she was still weirded out by Draven who was called some sort of puppet master. She was unsure of this team, deep down inside a slight fear of the unknown, those what if's persisted to try to get to her strategic mind. She rested her hand on her left sai easing her doubts as the sai would give her comfort in some way.

As the vehicles reached their destination after stopping at various spots she would hop off. Hearing the one that would stand before her and her rounded up team call them saviors. She never got called that before and was unsure what to make of it. She double checked her supplies once more. Ten kunais, thirty shuriken, her sais mounted on her upper legs, six smoke grenades, and One hundred and sixty fake exploding tags. Along with the weapons she had her notes for basic medical healing as in being able to bandage someone up without any use of special chakra. She'll be hopefully able to keep someone alive enough for someone of more medical expertise and skill to take care of them the rest of way.

Phyre remained quiet as she has been doing the entire mission thus far. One may begin to think the girl may be mute in some way. She had no scars acrossed her neck, just the one that went down and over her left eye. 'The land of bears...interesting...' she thought as she stood observing her surroundings awaiting further orders.

Draven would have his puppets wings spread out from its robes. He would look to the captain of the group and talk through his puppet. "I regretfully bow out of this mission, I have other matters that have popped up."

Phyre watched as the puppet master bowed out. She stood there awhile looking at the guy walking away, the one still there and the dome in the background. She hadn't said a word till just now. "Uh...yea...I just realized I value my life more than this....and not gonna risk this for my first mission. I'm out..." she looked at the other who was still there. "Sorry dude, I suggest ya tag along with us, if you wish to live again." she said with a shrug as she took off running having really no clue as to how to get back to her village anyway.
